The food here is good. I can't say I love it, but it's good. I usually sit at the bar and just drink..so I know the bar staff is good and that their happy hour (4-6) is nice. I tried the Zinburger which has Manchego Cheese, Zinfandel Braised Onions & Mayo for $10. I ate 1/3 of this and was full. I imagine normal sized people could eat the entire burger. I honestly didn't really get much of the manchego cheese flavor which I was hoping for...The burger was good. Not the best I've ever had..no 'wow' factor, but overall a nice burger. They will cook your burger RARE here which is awesome. I imagine that has to do with the quality of meat they purchase. When we came in I smelled truffle oil which is something I'd bathe in if I could..so we ordered the Double Truffle Fries - $6 which had Truffle Aioli, Truffle Oil & Parmesan Cheese. These things are very yummy. Eat them fast before they cool off for maximum enjoyment. I adore the "Almost Famous Veggie Burger" even though I'm far from a vegetarian. The shakes are Heaven in a glass and sooooo sinfully tasty. Wine by the glass is offered and there are several satisfactory options priced at $5-8 per glass. Zinburger offers worthy happy hour deals that are certainly worth checking out. The staff is always friendly and accurate. Like all Fox restaurants, the dining room is decorated to trendy perfection. Guests can dine at the bar or enjoy cocktails and shakes. Zin Burger is definitely pricier than other burger joints, but you're paying for quality. The truffle fries are to die for, and the burger portions are huge. I was extremely impressed with the staff----they were attentive, friendly and always smiling. The ambiance in the place is great, and is much different than a regular burger joint like In-n-Out. Upon arrival we were greeted to a lovely patio, exactly what we were looking for after a six mile hike this more in the Sauguaro National Park. The wait staff was fully attentive, the food was well prepared, we started with the Napa salad, followed by my "the ringer" burger, husband had the "the Plain and Simple" we indulged in several other niceties, a Corona and a Half for each of us, then dessert! They even let me swap mushrooms instead of cheese :))))) I love mushrooms! FOOD: I had the diablo burger with jalapenos on the side in case they were too hot to handle. They were delicious. Love Zinburger when I'm craving a juicy and fresh burger! Prices are high and a la carte-but you're getting quality for sure. I usually get the plain bacon cheeseburger. I've went here a few times in the past but needed a good burger fixing so I decided to go back. Servers were attentive and fast. Food was served at a perfect temperate and full of flavor. I tried the Prickly Pear Margarita and it's a must try. I had the Ringer Burger which was very good. I saw some people saying the portion sizes were not big enough, but I got an order of Double Truffle Fries (which taste like heaven) and shared it between 4 people and it was just the right amount of food. I also ended up trying a slice of their Chocolate Cream Pie and it is SO good! The pie had a nice cookie crumble (almost tasted like smashed up Oreos). A ton of whipped cream and chocolate. I have avoided Zinburger for awhile because I just wasn't sure if the gourmet burger would live up to all of the hype. Finally, I decided to grab my husband and try it out. I've taken him to so many sushi places recently, I wanted to have him remember red cooked meat. This place is awesome! I ordered the Sam burger but took the American cheese off and traded it for goat cheese. The goat cheese was so creamy! I added grilled onions as well and avocado. So delicious. My husband ordered a double, which is huge. Not that my burger was slim. He was in love with it and started eating before I could get photos. We also ordered a side of the green chili fries. Tum, and they did have a kick. Good service and our tea and lemonade was never empty. All in all I feel bad I held off so long. The next time I need a burger this is the place. The waitress mentioned that it was their spiciest burger (the jalapeños were roasted so the spice wasn't too overwhelming). It was soooooooo fresh, juicy and delicious! After reading a few reviews, I was torn between the truffle ($6), sweet potato ($5) or zucchini fries ($6). I ended up deciding on the zucchini fries and I was NOT disappointed. Back in Tucson for the weekend and Zinburger was our first food stop. This was my favorite burger place when I used to live here. I'm going to miss it. I wish there were Zinburgers in California. Couple of changes I noticed since I was here 2 years ago. Their to-go bags are more on the cheaper side now than before. Perhaps they changed them to be more environmental friendly. (?) Also, I believe they used to have a paparazzi wallpaper in the women's bathroom, which I found it funny. Now, they just have flowered green wallpaper. read more

We came here on a busy Friday night, and it took about 20 minutes to get seated. Once we got a table, service was very quick and helpful. The restaurant atmosphere is trendy -- not my thing, but that's not enough to deter me from getting my hands on a tasty burger! I ordered the My Boy Blue, sans mayo (seriously, why do all the burgers have mayo by default? Is this... Canada?? lol). My wife, the vegetarian copycat, got the same thing but with a veggie burger and with the mayo (did I marry a Canadian??). We also got an order of fries ($5). The size of the burger was pretty substantial, and the beef patty was tasty, although I felt like they skimped on the bleu cheese. The bun, however, was a disappointment. Do they buy these from the store or something? My wife said the veggie burger was good. I know by now that veggie burgers are easy to mess up, so it's a plus that we can both come here. The fries, while expensive, were really tasty and enough to feed both of us. The problem with Zinburger, however, is that they are trying to bill themselves as a "gourmet" burger shop (with prices to match!). This burger was pretty good, but it's not gournet level and I don't think the price is justified. Maybe I'm spoiled though; I have had some pretty amazing burgers all around the country. I love this place! I like a good burger once in awhile and this is the place to go when I get that craving! The last visit, I tried their vegetarian burger and it was THE BEST veggie burger I've ever had and I believe I will never order another beef burger when I visit this place! It was AMAZING! We also had the sweet potato fries and the truffle fries and they were both very good and I would order them again. We also shared a Chinese chicken salad that was very yummy and went well with the veggie burger. The shakes here are so delish and are definitely big enough to share. I've been to Zinburger several times, and enjoy it. First, I have to admit I don't eat red meat, which obviously limits my options, and means I can't speak to the quality/taste of their burgers. However, I have tried several of their chicken sandwiches. Personally, I find their chicken options good, not great. The standouts in my opinion are their various fries and milkshakes. The truffle fries and zucchini fries are both delicious, and discounted if you go during happy hour. My favorite milkshake is one of their special shakes of the month: Toffee Hazelnut. It's one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. One note is that the noise level here always seems high, regardless of day or time, which can make conversation a bit hard. read more

The ahi tuna is delicious and ful of flavor. The Kobe burger is excellent. You have heard about Kobe beef for a reason. The meat is juicy and plump. The burger tastes great and has such a great flavor. Their zucchini fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Parmesan cheese is liberally sprinkled over the fries before they are served. The combination is not only tasty, but fun to eat. Their double truffle fries are very appetizing. They have an excellent flavor by themselves, but the truffle aioli and truffle oil are great additions! Their desserts are also great. Not a lot of variety, but loads of taste! Love Fox Restaurants, Zinburger is definitely one of my favorites out of theirs in Tucson. Went to my first happy hour there (half-off all wines and drafts/half-off sides). It wasn't too crowded there until about 5, and we were there from 3:30-6 so our service was prompt for about an hour. After that it trailed off a bit, but the servers were still friendly. I had the breakfast burger, it would have been awesome but the egg was over cooked and the burger a little under even with it being medium. My dining companion's burger was ordered well-done and there was still pink in the middle. The manager on duty brought the freshly cooked burger out and apologized. You can't beat $2.50 for a glass of wine during happy hour, I wish they had a bit more green options as far as food is concerned, not everyone wants fries. May I suggest happy hour ahi? They do have half salads available during hh so that is always an option too, just need something a bit more substantial. read more

I like how you can order a burger and then share a side of fries. We opted for the zucchini fries since this place was known for them- they were tasty! I think if I came back I would try their classic fries or onion rings though. The burgers are a little expensive- depending on what kind you get.
