Aesthetic too and perfect for pics. - tequila shots - can't go wrong with these. Good tequila selection at the bar and went with tequila ocho reposado Bar staff is really friendly. If you sit at one of the booth tables against the wall and the bar isn't too busy, the staff will come by to take your order for you. BEWARE OF SCAMMING BARTENDERS I went to this bar on NYE with friends and ordered drinks, and I gave the bartender my card to close the tab. 20 minutes or so had passed and I saw my card just sitting behind the bar, so I asked another bartender for my card back but they said I hadn't paid out. I told them my order and paid out in cash (BTW the new bartender said my total was $96 so I gave her $110 total to include tip). As I check my bank statement the next day, I see a charge at this bar for $90, meaning I ALREADY paid for my drinks (AND IT SEEMS LIKE THIS NEW BARTENDER CHARGED ME EXTRA IN CASH FOR NO REASON). Now I have to go through a long bank dispute process because the bar's phone line obviously doesn't work. AVOID THIS BAR IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!! read more

Came in on a Thursday and lucky me it was karaoke night baby! Lol We had a gig at Saluhall and went on a walk and stumbled into their spot. Food. Drinks. Karaoke. Got two seats at the bar but there's tables outside and in. We did two sets of three tacos - I almost went for 10 for $55 lol. Added sliders instead and I did the monthly cocktail (08/25) which was scotch based and my friend did a spicy mezcal margarita which she really enjoyed. I sang "Sex on Fire" & a few others joined it. I can imagine it getting really busy OR it would be a great spot to bring your karaoke crew to. I personally enjoy open style karaoke vs grabbing a room. If I'm not mistaken the sign in the restroom said $3 tacos but not sure if that was for happy hour? We were charged $18/3 (regular menu price) A few tables had bottles of wine and it was very open and clean and the high ceilings make it spacious and comfortable. Service was fast and friendly. It is an airy space with nice cocktails and food. The food is tastier than your usual bar food staples. I had the nachos - it was small in size (and expensive $26) but was overall tasty. I was impressed with the speciality cocktails - tried the mezcal and it was balanced and tasty. The service is also great and attentive. It is a nice place to stop by if you are around. I had 2 drinks both drinks were great. I had - the Adonis / it cost $16 bucks The ingredients are union Mezcal ,amaro, lillet,Chile verde , agave , lime , servicetajin. And it was good . I had an event here and it was all I could ask for. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. The atmosphere was perfect. We had a group of about 60 and everyone fit pretty well. If my recollection serves me correctly, the bouncers were cool people, crowd was on the younger side, building was not at capacity i.e. no long lines to get in. I'm honestly really disappointed with how my birthday celebration went at Zoe Cocktail Bar last night. I had been working with Kevin since early February to reserve a table for myself and 18 friends, but the experience was far from what I expected. When I arrived around 8:15 PM on a Saturday, I was surprised to see only two bartenders working. The place was already getting busy, and I had to stand at the bar for over 10 minutes without even being acknowledged, maybe I'm being dramatic but it felt like they were intentionally avoiding me. My friends, who had arrived earlier, gave me a heads-up that there might have been some sort of misunderstanding about my reservation? Wait what?! When I finally got a bartender's attention, I was told I was supposed to arrive at 7:00 PM (completely untrue) and since I was over an hour late, they thought we no showed and they he couldn't accommodate me and my party. I pulled up my email exchanges and showed proof that the reservation was for 8. I explained that over 15 people were traveling from all over the Bay Area, and I needed to know if they could still accommodate us or if I needed to come up with a plan B. I was then told by the bartend to call Kevin (who had been super responsive throughout the process) which I thought was strange - like why am I making this phone call- but I did. Kevin called me back almost immediately and told me he'd be there soon and asked me to wait. After about 10 minutes, the bartender returned and said we could have a table--though it was much smaller than what I expected and couldn't accommodate my entire party. Still, at least we had somewhere to sit. We ordered food and drinks. The empanadas were really good! but things went downhill after that. We noticed there was a DJ (started at 10) and a small "dance floor." However, I use that term loosely because it was more like a 10 ft by 10 ft area right at the entrance, directly in front of the DJ booth. Definitely not the spacious area I expected based on pictures online. In hindsight, I realize it was my bad for not checking it out in person before my birthday. When we moved to the dance floor around 10:15 PM, I was literally dancing for 3 minutes before a woman (who I later realized worked there) told me that our table hadn't been ordering drinks "for a while" and that we needed to either order more drinks or give up the table. Which took me aback. We had been ordering drinks- and there was never any mention of a drink minimum or time limits on tables, but now there was.. which made it feel really uncomfortable. To be clear I would have happily paid to reserve the table for the evening - but this was never discussed and I assumed the reservation we made was for the evening. To top it off, Zoe Cocktail Bar advertises birthday shots, sparkles, and dessert for people celebrating birthdays. However, I never received any of that--again, not that I was holding my breath for it, but it was strange when the table next to us got the full birthday treatment. It felt odd considering how heavily Zoe Cocktail advertises their birthday celebrations. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. The venue appeared much larger in the pictures online, and I would've hoped for clearer communication and better treatment, especially for a special occasion. I won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend this place for a birthday or any large gatherings. Kevin did attempt to come up to me once he saw me leaving upset - and I did appreciate his check in, but at that point I was done. I really don't enjoy leaving less than 5 star reviews but my experience on my birthday was upsetting and I'm still thinking about it. read more

This is a new spot with happy hour and they provided samples of their house cocktails here, which was great! It was really quiet during happy hour with just my friend and I, and 2 other groups there. We both got the Color Me Impressed, which is $12 during happy hour, and comes with fries. We forewent the fries and just got the cocktail. The cocktail was delicious but not very strong at all. I would've preferred to pay $9 and not had the fries option. Of note, the well drinks don't include all liquors - no whiskey or tequila I believe.
