We LOVED this place! Such a cool spot to chill and get some amazing food. The Hot Chicken sandwich was killer, the Pulled Turkey sandwich was a repeat, fries were yummy and the Spring Wrap was delicious! Our server was extremely friendly and made our experience so enjoyable. They also have a small theater and brunch/dinner area with select films/showtimes. Very artsy spot, can't wait to go back!

Great food, great drinks, and a great, unique atmosphere. Made a bunch of visits here over the summer and fall and was so impressed with the staff and delicious menu offerings that I was excited when my sister chose it for the first stop on her bachelorette party bar crawl! On most visits it was just the hubs, daughter and I, but this time I was with a group of 15 with varying food and drink preferences. The staff kept up with our needs and orders as though we were a simple three top. I don't know if there was a single thing on the menu that we didn't order that night, but typically I recommend the Brussels sprouts to start and either the impossible burger (comes with Their amazing hand cut fries) or the white Detroit style pizza -- the sauce is on top, so it's a little messy to eat, but one bite and you won't care how much ends up on your face and shirt. They also do delicious desserts, so try to save room or get a slice of pie to go! They've been a little short staffed in the kitchen (what restaurant isn't, right?) so they sometimes only have a limited menu, but it's worth checking back. They're pretty good at posting the latest info on their social and keeping the menu on their website up to date, so you can check there before you go. Another reason to check the website: In addition to offering movies, they also do fun game nights, have live music on the patio (where your four legged friends are welcome to join you!), and other cool events.

Double review here. Cinema: Great experience overall, not your normal type of a revenue. Nice way to catch a movie or live performance. Intimate, cozy with couches, lazy boys and other comfortable seats. Lobby is also cozy- offering drinks and snacks to enjoy while taking in the movie/show. Seats proximity 75-100 people Restaurant: Literally accessible from the cinema lobby, again cozy, intimate ambience. Food was good and plentiful. Each appetizer/entree is something familiar with a twist. Good friendly service and not overly priced.

We had a really great experience here tonight. Our waiter David provided excellent service and lots of good advice about the menu. He was quick, polite, and helpful. The food was definitely above average pub food. The wings were top notch. The pizza was thick but had wonderful crispy edges. There are huge doors that open to outside so it's all kind of indoor/ outdoor space. A fun and welcoming place. Eat here.

I love everything about this place! It's such a unique spot that Lancaster needed. Enjoy drinks, dinner and drinks, or just go to watch a movie. The ambiance is laid back and casual, but the spirits and food are elevated. We had a group of eleven and the service was prompt. The veggies on my flatbread were perfectly roasted, fresh, and not a bite was left :) Love coming here when the weather is warm, the garage doors open, and plenty of outside seating.

First time visiting Lancaster, and it feels like we made the right move getting lunch here. They have a pretty decent menu, varying from burgers & chicken, to salads & vegetarian options. I liked the variety, and I left feeling like I could go back to try something totally new. Obviously, they have a strong drink menu. I actually tried the Wawa coffee stout. I've been wanting to try it for so long, and it was good, but regretted getting it with this meal because it has more of a holiday flavor (cinnamon, cloves, etc.) We had an order of their Vietnamese loaded fries. These stole the show...so much flavor - big portion (plenty for sharing with a group of 5.) It carries all the fresh & spicy flavors of a banh mi sandwich - really tasty. We also had the "boring burder" - which was good in its own right. Cooked well, nice flavor, wasn't messy or anything like that. I personally wish it would have had more of a crunch. It was served on a brioche bun, but that quickly absorbed all the good flavor of the burger & other ingredients, so while it was yummy, it just felt heavy to eat. Maybe using fresh red onion or fried onion ring instead of sauteed or something like that. Cool place inside - plenty of space. Kind of like a warehouse vibe. They have their stilling open to the public to see while you are eating. Interesting art throughout, as they have a theater theme. The outside eating looked really cool - fire pits and picnic tables. It was crowded, so you can tell its a local favorite. We unfortunately had a super long wait for our food, and an item was forgotten. They graciously took that off the bill with no issues, but without those couple of hitches - this was an all around good spot. Must try if you are in downtown Lancaster.

The owners of this place need to get their yelp listing revised to their new name-- Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse since it's far more fitting to the great facility they have become! ... and they were great before! We have been many times for excellent films, appreciated monitoring their move to Water Street and exceptional construction and renovation work to create their restaurant/stillhouse/patio. We finally got to experience all of it-- and it was first Friday in Lancaster which made it an extra treat. Do go. We had a brief happy hour at the bar pre-movie. The bar sells PA spirits and they have an exceptional collection plus great cocktail recipes. We then headed to the movie. We got some of their great popcorn with REAL butter... and a glass of wine for me and cider for my co-traveler.... claimed our favorite sofa and enjoyed an exceptional movie. I won't name it because we've seen many exceptional movies there, you really can't go wrong. When the movie ended we were happy to discover live music for First Friday-- Dillweed was playing great music on the patio. We got a table and enjoyed an excellent meal and tried another of their cocktails and even a glass of great local Pa wine. And I'm picky about that--- it was dry and wonderfully full flavored! Go for one or all of these things! There are also 2 'conjoined?' But separate restaurant/bars on the property... we did not visit but they also had great menus and you could partake of the same patio. This is not just a Lancaster gem... it's like a full on diamond. :)

Really unique and interesting place. There's a large beer and spirits menu with craft cocktails. Something for everyone. We tried some appetizers and flatbreads for Restaurant Week. Apps (starting with the best) were the Farm Stand Seasonal Vegetables, Bruschetta Fries, and Smoked Gouda Dip. The veggies were zucchini in a wine and oil sauce. The cheese and tomatoes on the fries were very fresh and complimented each other. The Gouda dip was tasty, but I would have preferred freshly made chips to the standard restaurant tortillas. The Margherita and Buffalo Chicken Flatbreads were exceptional. Great crust, high quality toppings, and flavorful cheese. They were the best part of the meal. James served our party of 4 and was very personable. Food and drinks came out slow and in bits and pieces. We weren't in a rush so it was fine, but if we had to be somewhere it would have been a different story.

We had dinner here for my birthday before going to Kinky Boots at the Fulton Theatre. It was perfect! Nice people. Really good food. Fun drinks! Oh, and the atmosphere and ambiance were spot on fun. Cheers! We'll be back.

Like, really slow. The bar is incredibly limited. Though, I do love how generous the server was with the wine pour. I gave her a pretty hefty tip since she essentially topped off the glass as the wine was just about kicked. The bathrooms were filthy, but I'm used to that with many AMC theaters with the same situation. I think I was expecting more of a high end experience since the mall that the theater was located in was so nice. The exterior of the theater looked flashy. The inside lobby and common spaces? Really not fancy and kind of run down and this theater was just built a few years ago. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. Also, my kids LOVED the heated seating. That was a fun bonus. I'd come back again. Some of the food was truly fantastic. The standouts were the wood fired pizza and the cheesesteak. 100% would order again. The burger and grilled cheese were okay. My kids got that, and while they loved it, I was glad that my partner and I got what we ordered.

Thanks to an early holiday gift, I attended my first performance, the 2025 Christmas Show Deck the Halls. I didn't make any food purchases, but I could smell the inviting aroma of popcorn when we entered the theatre. Deck the Halls is a fantastic way to celebrate Christmas with nostalgic songs and remember Jesus' birth. I must note that 1600 people exiting the theatre parking lot is the only honest, non-five-star worthy concern. AMT Memberships are available, and there is already a performance schedule of shows for 2026; tickets are not sold through 3rd-party resellers.

This was after we were told to make our way through a very crowded gift shop to the other side of the venue, even though our seats were in the middle. This is one of the least accommodating venues I have been to for people with mobility issues. From the parking spots to removing a medical device, it is wholly unacceptable. The theatre itself is a very nice, modern establishment and the performances I have attended are wonderful productions. The ticket prices are a bit high but better seats always are. A Historic Marker proclaims that a famous puppeteer was born nearby. The white door left slightly ajar wears a sign, "Sold Out." Some places might feel forlorn wearing those words, but not here--this is the home of Lancaster Marionette Theater. From the moment you walk into Lancaster Marionette Theater, the magic surrounds you, and what Robert Brock has created on Water Street in historic downtown Lancaster is something out of a storybook. From the John Durang Puppet Museum, to the Backstage Tour, and most of all to the delightful marionette performance itself--everything about this charming building is full of Brock's heart and soul. When I first heard about this small but quaint theater, it gave me visions of memories growing up watching The Sound of Music. We all remember the famous scene of Maria and the children performing their marionettes while singing "The Lonely Goatherd." When I ordered tickets to see Peter Pan, I did not know what to expect but I was looking forward to sharing this experience with my twelve-year-old son. Brock, a native of Lancaster, fell in love with theater and puppets as a little boy when his dad made a puppet play theater for his sister one Christmas. As an adult, he went to Boston Conservatory and majored in Music Theater. In 1990, Brock's Hole in the Wall Theater opened with hand puppets, but when his shoulders gave out, he switched to all marionettes ten years later. January of this year, the name was changed to Lancaster Marionette Theater, and with it came renovations including a new "green" updated lighting system. There are so many parts of creating each show. Making wooden carved puppets, creating patterns for costumes, cutting out the material, sewing clothes, sculpting clay for the heads, painting the marionette, writing the script--these are just a few of the steps Brocks takes. Perhaps that is what makes this small theater so unique. The audience gets the chance to meet the founder and artistic director, Robert Brock, during the Backstage Tour. While learning that it takes him 50-60 hours to build each marionette, audience members feel Brock's charisma and passion for the theater. During the tour that day, Brock told the crowd about a project he is currently working on about dinosaurs. While he still performs some of the same shows each year, he continues to create new ideas. My son and I arrived that Saturday in October for the last performance of the year for Peter Pan. There was a large group of young children attending, and the theater has a policy about children being quiet during the performance. This policy was explained and delivered from one of the staff before the show, standing right in front of the stage, and it was aimed at the children so they could understand. Somehow--it worked. I did not hear a peep from the children throughout the 35-minute show. Brock explains on his website, "Shari Lewis used to say, 'Never write down to children.'" Perhaps that is the key. We left that day with a new appreciation for puppets. It was amazing how Peter Pan was brought to life with just one man--with music, strings and some pixie dust.
