I've had this place quite a bit over a time period of 4 years. I get them delivered to my workplace . The Meat Lovers pizza is fantastic! Amazing meat quality, super fresh! The chicken Caesar Salad with fresh parm is to die for especially when you add some grilled shrimp to it! The shrimp are jumbo as well! On the down side the lasagna lacks flavor and they drown it in a sweet marinara sauce so I am not a fan of that and their wings are undercooked and lack flavor! I tried the hot wings and was very disappointed. So stick to pizza and salads ! Definitely can't go wrong there! We look for reasons to drive down to Pompano Beach so we can eat at Zuccarelli. My favorite Italian restaurant. It's a small place on a busy street, Federal Highway, but big on flavor and service. Kenny was our genial server, who made sure we had all of their scrumptious garlic rolls we could eat. Our entrees came with salads, and they're pretty big, and fresh. My honey mustard dressing tasted homemade, and was delicious. My husband ate every scrap of his, so his Italian Vinaigrette must have been, too. His Spaghetti with Calamari was perfect, and a very large portion. My Chicken Piccata was tender and wonderful, with plenty of capers. It was also a nice healthy portion Kenny took great care packaging our leftovers and included some of their garlicky focaccia. After eating till we were more than satisfied, we have enough great food for another dinner. Well worth a 5 hour trip down I95 to get to Pompano Beach. We peeked at their dinner menu which had an abundance of delicious choices reasonably priced too. One of the pizza chefs brought us some garlic rolls, they were to die for!!! Hot, gooey and loaded with fresh garlic! I ordered the Italian combo panini. It was toasted on a bread that I believe was also made in house, loaded with provolone, salami, ham and capicola. This location has been a few different Italian joints over the last 15 years, and Zuccarelli is by far the best of the lot. I love seafood, and Zuccarelli does a great job, cooking snapper, grouper, etc. to perfection. Large portions, with sauces that accent the fish, not overwhelm it. The side pastas are cooked al dente and the garlic rolls are addictive. I usually order delivery, and the delivery drivers are professional and efficient. Decent little casual Italian place that has a great mom and pop feel. It's very much a family place, with booths around the edges of the dining room and square tables in the middle. You can bring everyone from the young kids right up to grandma and grandpa. And it seems to be the kind of place that gets busy earlier in the evening, which makes sense with the family aspect of the clientele. So, that's something to keep in mind. My dining partner and I both had a really great meal. I ordered a fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp and my tablemate went with linguini in white clam sauce. In both dishes, the pasta was prepared perfectly. My fettuccini was creamy and rich but not overly heavy. And the clam sauce on the linguini was light and flavorful. Lots of clams - and they were perfectly cooked. Worth noting is that the fresh baked garlic rolls are delicious. (We had two orders...!!!) Prices were very reasonable. My friend and I shared an app, two baskets of garlic rolls and we each had an entree that was served with a salad. Our bill was about $50. That's a really reasonable deal for South Florida. All in all, a decent, no frills, family friendly place. Definitely would go back sometime to enjoy another down home Italian meal. read more

A small local Italian restaurant that has a family owned feel to it. The restaurant does fill up pretty fast during peak hours so make sure to get there early or avoid peak hours. Upon entering, you will be greeted and seated. As you take a seat, they will ask if you want some garlic rolls. Shortly after, your server will come by to get your drinks order followed by your dinner order. Throughout dinner, they did a good job checking on us and refilling our drinks. The service was definitely impeccable. They cleared tables and filled them accordingly. The place was packed with the seniors and they did an amazing job catering to their needs. The food was good but with the large number of Italian restaurants in town, there was nothing to rave about. I got their eggplant parmigiana which came with a side of spaghetti and salad. You could request to change the sides, which I changed to a pasta soup and angel hair pasta. If I visit again, I would definitely get their pasta because the sauce was really tasty with fresh herbs. The ambiance was very pleasant with cheesy 80's music, suitable for a night out with the loved one. We could hold a nice conversation without yelling. There was TV playing football but the volume was toned down and they had captions on. The verdict: I would visit again if someone else wants to go or if we just want to go somewhere close to us. We made a pick up order. drove 20 mins to pick up, 20 mins home. order was wrong. i've had the same issue with the same order, a few times! called to complain, got so upset i put my husband on. while complaining from the other room the manager tells my husband " tell her not another word or I'm hanging up". Shocker, I didn't receive my refund. That was Saturday. Called back Tuesday after checking the bank, same guy says " Manager is not here until tomorrow". Still no refund. Ok my family and I found this place two years ago , we are from Pompano Beach now but originally from Boston. I spent my entire adult life eating what I thought was the best Italian food in the country in the North End of Boston. Zuccarelli's is as good or better, for half the price. If you want brass and glass go somewhere else, if you want the best chicken parm I have ever had , great meatballs, specials to die for, omg the Lamb Shank, you cant beat it. Everyone knows each other, the employees are positive and bend over backwards to please. The restrooms spotless and Joe and Pat are two ex Chippendale models that run the place, they smile the moment you walk in. My wife and I came for dinner before a concert at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater. It was our first time at Zuccarelli. First off - when they ask you if you want "garlic rolls," say "YES!" We were initially trying not to overeat, so declined. Big mistake. After seeing (and smelling) them, we asked for one to share. (Which was one of the hardest things I've ever done - sharing it.) Let's just say that this is what garlic bread should always be - with a big emphasis on the "garlic." For dinner my wife had Eggplant Parmesan and I had the veal. Both were excellent. Not too heavy, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. And speaking of the sauce, really good and NOT sweet (big plus!). Then, having given up on the whole not overeating thing, we shared a cannoli for desert. Not sure if they make them in-house or get them from somewhere else, but it was as good as any I've ever had in Little Italy in NYC. Zuccarelli is a real, honest-to-goodness, family-run, neighborhood Italian restaurant that serves excellent food at great prices - and with outstanding service.
