Literally the worst pizza in Elgin. Ordered a pizza today for my employee at work and couldn't even get them finish the pizza!!! Horrible horrible pizza and way overpriced!!! Buyers beware! If you like a flavorless pie with a crust that tastes like a mix between day old little Ceasers and Pizza Hut then this pizza is for you!! Did I mention it was way over priced. Really delicious pizza - it is square-shaped and semi-deep-dish. I got the small 8" (think brownie-square-pan) with sausage and pepperoni ... very filling and extremely tasty ... very full of flavor. Also got the bacon-cheese fries (replaced the liquid cheese with shredded mozzarella cheese) ... again, very good (the portion is enough for 2-4 people); lastly got the Greek salad - full of feta cheese, olives, tomatoes, cukes - dressing/toasted pita bread came on the side ... really, really nice. Overall, the staff were super friendly and professional - helpful, too - and the place is really clean. They also have all sorts of stuff ... from hot dogs to subs/pizza ... no pasta. Lackluster at best. I ordered the Chicago Fire (Italian beef + hot giardiniera) @$25+ tax. This pizza came with about a quarter of the amount of Italian beef that you'd find on a typical sandwich. The "hot giardiniera" barely had any flavor. On top of these disappointments.. I'd compare the quality of the pizza to a typical $5 Little Caesar's pizza. I have no interest in ordering from here again. I'll stick w/ Danny's on Douglas or Rosati's if I'm in the mood for a good beef pizza. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. I was there last Tuesday and had an extremely alarming experience with the cashier there. I went in around noon and this short haired blonde young woman, I think her name was kiara, can't remember. The cashier completely ignored me when I was at the counter, was on her phone. When I cleared my throat she said with a huge eye roll"can I help you" extremely rudely. I wanted to place an order to go and she made it for there, it was completely wrong. When I went to ask for a new order (my correct order) she gave me a lot of attitude. Unfortunate because I've gone there several times and never have I seen her there any other day, all my orders there have been amazing aside from this catastrophe. I don't think I will ever step foot in there because of this cashier. read more

SO GOOD!!! We noticed ZZA popped up on our radar for places that deliver in Elgin (60124), so we called! The woman that answered the phone to help take our order was so nice and helpful. It is rare to find a delivery spot with such exceptional customer service! We had a pizza puff, a chicken pita, an Oreo shake and a Nutella shake. Everything arrived within about 20 minutes (FAST!) and was delicious. It was the best chicken pita of my life! And the shakes were to DIE FOR!!! Honestly some of the best pizza and breadsticks I've had! The pizza was the perfect size, crunchy yet still "deep dish" style and the breadsticks were fluffy (Slight crunch) and flavorful. Zza Factory is a hidden gem in Elgin with incredibly delicious food and top notch customer service. The personal bacon and pepperoni pizzas we order were steaming hot and the crust was buttery and crispy. The double cheeseburger was freshly cooked to order, juicy and a complete mouthful with each bit. The burger patties are seasoned perfectly with some much taste. The fresh cut fries were amazing and didn't require any ketchup. Bone in wings were so crunchy and the sweet chili sauce was finger lickin' good. We ended our meal with an order of the Nutella nuggets and a brownie shake, both were so delicious. The staff was so friendly and made our dine-in experience during this difficult time a unforgettable experience. We love eating Zza Factory's food and visit as often as we can. Yummy and full of great deals! I love their under $10 individual specialty pizzas! Chi 5 and Cowboy Mike are the only two I have ordered since I look forward to eating them. Two pieces have me full so I leave the other two for lunch the next day. Lots of fresh ingredients and so consistent. Also, just catered for a small group. The baked rigatoni has lots of flavor and the Greek salad has lots of well, what you expect, kalamata olives, feta cheese, cucumbers, ect. This pizza is 10 star pizza. No grease on the bottom of the crust what so ever. Normally go to pza hut and dominos but never will again. My family can normally eat 3 domiknows large pizza and finish them all. I ordered 2 large pizzas from here and have leftovers for once. Every single kid was asking why we dont get from here more often. Tasted great. Wasnt soggy crust. Cheese was real Cheese not that oil based junk from the competitors. Chicken barbeque pizza and Canadian Bacon pineapple was our pick today. Abosolutley loved the Pizza. Good fellas used to be the place I and my 30 plus employees ordered from every day. They sold their Pizza Oven about 11 years ago and Elgin has never been the same. So I've tried this place a few more times since my first review. I'll say they have perfected the gravy for the Italian Beef, it's delicious not too salty anymore. Fries are good and the order is huge I've had hot dogs and a burger from there as well and they are good. I'd probably feel better about the place and give it a better review if it weren't for what I think is the biggest issue. The service. It's not great. Twice I went inside to order and both times I was not acknowledged for a few minutes, they weren't super busy and no one was in front of me and when I was finally acknowledged they weren't rude but it was as though I was bothering them, so that kind of turned me off but my biggest pet peeve is when I've used the drive thru I pull up they open the window take my payment give me charge or card back close the window and I wait and wait and wait. Last night I waited for 13 minutes (yeah I paid attention because of previous experiences) and when I was finally given my food there was no "sorry for the wait" or "thanks for your patience". How hard would it be to say it's going to be a little while when I'm paying?? Bottom line is this, foods pretty good but it's overpriced for the portions (except fries) so if you want me to pay higher prices for okay food then you should make your service good.
