I explained I was a new customer. After placing my phone order, I disputed the price with the lady taking the order. She argued with me about the prices listed directly on zzafactory.com. She hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to her manager. She said she was the manager. I asked to speak to the owner. She handed the phone to "Chris". I asked him who the owner was he said , "He's not here." I asked Chris what his position was- "manager" he replied. I explained it was against the law to advertise one price and then charge another (815 ILCS 510/2). He said, "I'm not giving you a discount! I have other customers here." and hung up on me. I called again and said I'd like to complain to the owner- he said, "I am the owner; so, come down here and complain." in a very threatening tone. read more

Stopped last night on our way out of Chicago. We stopped in about 9pm. We had the Italian beef pizza with hot Grenada peppers and it was soooo good! Great meat and the crust was thick and fluffy and had a buttery taste! Our boys smashed their cheese bread and marinara! Loved the basket of fresh cut fries! Possibly an individual location, it looks and operates like a franchise--meaning professional and well-oiled execution. Eclectic menu includes burgers, sandwiches, Chicago style hot dogs, shakes and standard sides (fries, onion rings, etc.). Even at busy lunch time food popped up quickly. Ordered a classic Chicago dog and told they had a special dog for $1 that was similar. Similar yes, lacking the sport peppers and substituting a light, fluffy bun instead of a poppy seed one. Went with hubby to get some pizza here. We were in the mood to try some pizza, and stumbled upon ZZA factory. I got the bacon, chicken and ranch square and hubby got the pizza square with a bunch of meat - I think it was pepperoni and sausage? he loved it, I thought it was good but it was lacking a little flavor. The crust was crispy and tasty. I also got a Vienna hot dog which was fresh and tasty. Pricing was fair, and our whole order came to about $29. There is an area to eat inside, but we did take out. The pizza here is unique- I believe it is Detroit style, being square and with a puffy crust. The cheese is delicious, salty, gooey, and satisfying. I normally always get meat pizza, but here I always get the popeye. It is delicious- the spinach and tomatoes are fresh and full of flavor. The garlic is the X factor. The Pizza here is phenomenal! Their menu is huge and amazing! They have lots of selections and all of it is worth trying. The food here was really made fresh and cooked perfectly. My family and I order from here a little too often. My husband would eat the factory burger every day if I let him. My daughter is sold on the boneless wings. Gone is the Greek salad with warm grilled chicken and pita bread and gone is the chicken gyro pita sandwich that was on point. Not a single worker was wearing a mask. The cook came out from the back without a mask. It's obvious they do not care about the current pandemic or their customers. Please don't get me wrong- I love a good burger and gargantuan-sized plate of bacon fries. I really do. I even loved these exact items from the ZZA Factory a few weeks ago. However, I seriously regretted my decision to partake in these items shortly after consumption was complete. I honestly don't remember the last time I had such horrible cramps (other than when actually birthing children). The food was delicious, the outcome was terrifying. I honestly cannot imagine going there again unless I wanted to taunt myself by thinking I was in heaven, when in reality, I was in hell. This is a great place for burgers, beef and pizza in an area of Elgin that doesn't have many other options. Both times we've been there at lunch it's been busy. The pizza is more Detroit style than anything you typically get around here. It's square, medium thickness crust that is a combination between chewy and crunchy, with nice caramelized cheese on the edges. No too heavy on the toppings, good flavor to the sauce. The burgers are good 1/3 pounders with very nice brioche buns. The fries are fresh cut and fried on the dark side-- and one serving is absolutely huge! They have topped fries that look very good-- in fact, everything looks good. While I've not tried the beef, reports are it's good. They have a sort of philly cheesesteak-italian beef hybrid sandwich that's reported to be excellent. A very good lunch spot. read more

So we ordered for the first time here the other day and it was by far the best delivery I have had in a while with the kids it's easier to just get delivery down side it's never amazing but when we ordered we didn't know what to expect and we just tried the pepperoni and it was delicious cheesy crispy but not burnt I was pleased !! My kids loved the chicken tenders and me and my daughter got the milkshakes and I'm craving another one as we speak! We also got the boneless wings the sweet chili and it was so good and they gave me more than I asked for which is always a good thing they don't skimp on the food !! Pizza is a pan style, with a thick buttery crust. This leads to a bit of a greasier pizza, but it's still excellent if you want that type. Ingredients are quality and not skimped. I would skip the cheezy breadsticks next time as it seems to be just a cheese pizza with no sauce cut into sticks. Best pizza or in this establishment the best Zza in the area! The way this place cranks out pizza it literally should be a factory. This isn't your standard chain thin crust nor is it your traditional Chicago style deep dish. Think delicious butter crust with burnt cheese ends that takes this pizza to the next level in flavor.
