If you like strawberries then must try strawberry milk tea- it's got a slight hint of rose fragrance with fresh strawberry flavor, i promise it won't disappoint! This is my new go to place. I know I can always come in and get something different each time. My friend and I are addicted. It all started with the spicy street ramen with the spicy pork. So much flavor and huge portion! When I went on a paleo diet, I found their amazing Japchae noodle bowl. Ohhhhhhh my goodness, so much flavor! Plus there was enough for two meals! Since then, I've become a fan of the tacos, and recently the burrito. My friend and I even won a free chicken Katsu plate(pictured). I wouldn't bother too much with the apps, because the meal will fill you up, but an exception would be the spicy mandoo. Yum!! The spicy sauce is addicting! 10/10 would and have recommended Zzaams to everyone. Haven't had any bad experiences nor a bad meal. Broth is chicken stock from the local store, unspiced. Spicy chicken was teriyaki flavored, and not well at that, and tasteless otherwise. Ramen noodles are Maruchan 10 for $1. Onions boiled to a point they have become unappetizing. Carrots were frozen and store bought. Edamame frozen, thawed and microwaved - some still cold on serving. Egg rolls store bought, possibly pan fried? Which was...whatever, it's egg rolls, but it'd be nice if they hadn't been soggy mush just under the wrap. Server became evasive and defensive when asked if ramen were prepared in mainland style. Westernized pap with no flair for its national roots, or even a nod toward decent prep and cooking. First I'd like to start off with saying my one star review isn't based on the food quality. The food is excellent, though the portion sizes need to be reevaluated. However, the service here needs a serious attitude adjustment. They are rude to customers (Especially one that I'm assuming is a manager who runs around as if he's the only one working when he clearly has a team). I went in at a time that wasn't busy nor closing time and wasn't even acknowledge for a good 20 mins. When he finally noticed me, acted as if I was an inconvenience and asked his team member to take my order when he went back to flirt with female customers and not be bothered to even help out. Love this place. My girlfriend and I always order from here when we aren't completely sure about what to eat. She loves their ramen and I love their burritos even though I also love the ramen here. I've never actually sat down and ate here but getting this food to go is always a good bet because their food travels pretty well if you plan on eating the food not too long after it's been picked up. The spring rolls here are really good as well, I always make sure to order a few whenever I get food from here, the only problem I have with this place is that even when you ask them for extra sauce with your spring rolls, they never give you any extra sauce. The last bite of spring rolls is always sauce-less. I am convinced that they either put liquid gold in their sauce, or they must sacrifice a small child when making this sauce and that is why they give you the tiniest amount with your spring rolls. Either way I highly recommend this place to anyone craving ramen or wants a chipotle sized burrito but also wants some incredible Asian flavor. read more

Overall the food is good but the kimchi is the worst I have ever had!! I have told them a few times hoping that it would get better because this the location closest to my house but after two months they still haven't improve. :( I give them 4 star because the staff is always friendly!! read more

This was a great place to stop and have a quick bite to eat. While it is set up like chipotle, we greatly enjoyed the assistance while ordering and causal atmosphere. The music playlist was great as well. On to the food- the broth bowl was fresh and flavorful! The bulgogi was delicious and the kimchi was not too spicy for me. Visiting our daughter and she took us to this Korean fast food place. Coming from Korean town in Northern Virginia I would say the food is very good. The price is very reasonable. I hope this place does well. 3 of us got the korean beef bulgogi bowl, 1 got the ramen soup, some side dishes and one tonkatsu chicken. Paid less than $50. BTW: The serve brown rice which is a plus. If I could give more stars I would. The Ramen was excellent, I had the pork based on an employee recommendation. I was absolutely that newbie Karen type that wanted opinions on everything and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The eggs rolls were delicious as well. I've been coming here for the past 3-4 years and it never gets old. To me, this puts places like chipotle in the ground. You cannot beat the quality of food you're getting for the price and the boba in the bubble teas is literally the best compared to anywhere else in VA. And the fact so much of this is made fresh including all sauces, proteins, and korean style sides, I really cannot love this place anymore. Please give it a try (tip: if you're new to korean food, try the korean styled sides like pickled cucumber and spinach on the side to be sure you like it first before mixing it all in together.) read more

Such a GREAT and NEEDED break from the monotony of food choices in this area! I've gotten a bowl 4 times and mix up different combos of ingredients each time, so there's a lot of different ways to go making it easy to feel like a new experience each time. I'm gluten-free and vegetarian and still have a TON to choose from. Tofu as a protein choice, and tons of interesting veggies like pickled radish and pickled cucumber and roasted carrots and different types of kim chee and a ton of different sauces to chose from of various spicy levels. The bubble tea station is on point, and my little one swears they have the best ice cream she's ever had. And to top it all off the service is excellent! Super friendly staff, patient and ready to offer up suggestions or explain some of the options that aren't super familiar (I've listened to this lovely woman explain what bubble tea is over and over and she never seems to get tired of explaining it, again and again...) read more
