Always fantastic food and surprisingly a ton of options! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. They really know what to recommend to make a great bowl. They have Monday and Tuesday specials seem to be delicious! I wish there was a location near Longwood University because this place would kill it there. Btw the Kim-Chee is fresh and oh my GOD it's amazing!!! They have a great drink selection. Bottled beers, bottles Korean drinks and regular soda cans and seltzer waters etc. they also have deserts and a regular soda machine. Overall just a great place. If it's your first time there they will guide you through the process because all the options can be overwhelming. They're patient too.... you can't expect that anywhere anymore, especially at a fast food joint. read more

Can't get enough of this place! I always get the noodle bowl with broth, spicy pork, and drag it through the garden with all the toppings and top it off with som zzaam sauce. Love the made to order vegetarian dumplings. I get it for lunch and there's always more than enough leftover for dinner. Can get slammed on the weekends. read more

We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was because it seemed like fast food. The flavors are rich and the employees are very nice and welcoming. We got the rice bowl, a bulgogi burrito and the tacos. They were all very good. He kids bowl is a good size too. read more

The menu is labeled with "V" or "GF" so that helped. I have to look more into the noodles but I got a rice bowl and tofu. Heads up, it is spicy. I was warned and I was so happy that I didn't get a spicy sauce because the tofu was hot enough for me; but I added yum yum sauce and it was super good. read more

When asking the person who was checking us out simple questions about menu items because we hadn't been there before be openly admitted that he "he no idea" or intention of finding out. Tried this place for the first time tonight with my fiancé. It was her idea to try this place and I'm sure glad she did! I got the rice bowl with spicy chicken combo. The dumplings were really good and had good flavor with the sauce it came with. The side of mold chicken wings was probably the best (Because I love chicken wings) but they were sweet with a little kick but not too much and cooked perfectly! Today was the second time I have been to this restaurant. I must say I love the food that I had from this place that day and today. However, I was not pleased that their credit card machine was not working properly and caused me to have to go to a gas station to get money from an ATM that I had to pay ridiculous fees for. Then when I returned to pay for my food I received no apologies from the staff or anything. I value customer service and theirs sucked today. First I want to say I'm a regular at all of the locations. I have been ordering the street Ramen ahead of time for the last 4 to 5 months. The food is good. This isn't about the quality of food it's about the poor customer service I endured today. I ordered my same meal about 20 Minutes ahead as I know it takes awhile to cook the Korean Street Ramen. Upon arrival my husband went inside to pick up the food. He was told we never called. He came outside to check the number we called proceeded to go back inside and was argued down that we never called. I then went inside and was questioned "who did I talk to" I explained a male and then was told we don't drop the Ramen until the customer gets here. Never apologetic about the food never being ready or the fact of being accused of never calling. I cancelled my order as it would have taken 10 to 15 mins to be done, what I was trying avoid when I called it in. I will not be returning to this location. . read more

My first 2 visits to zzams was disappointing. A bunch of family members wanted me to take them to zzams so I decided to give it one more try. During this visit I asked the guy helping me to make a bowl for me the same way he would make a bowl for himself. The bowl he made was AWESOME. I asked him his name, he said it is Cameron. Every time I stop in to zzams I ask Cameron to make my bowl. I will only get a bowl if he is working. Ask for Cameron next time you go in for an Amazing bowl. read more

Think of Chipotle but Korean food. This is the way you order. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. I really enjoy the beef however the chicken is too fatty and mostly dark meat. I appreciate that the dark is more flavorful but when trying to find healthy options I want the option of chicken breast. The street ramen is really good but so stinking hot I have to let it cool 20-30 minutes in order to eat it when I order to go. read more
