    Some meats from Wooga Special
    Elaine N.

We went here on Saturday for lunch at 2pm and there was no wait! At first, I assumed it would be a Korean bbq place where you grill your own meat, but at this place, the staff will grill it at the table for you! Anyways, we were quickly seated and ordered our food. We ordered the Wooga Special, Soft Tofu Stew, Tteokbokki, Kimchi Pancake, and an Orange Soda to share. The meals here come with the typical banchan sides too, which was nice to snack on. Then the staff pushed their cart of food over to our table and started grilling our meats. That was such a nice and unexpected experience how they grill your food for you since it allowed me to eat while the other meats were being cooked! All of their meat cuts are so tender and had a nice marbling on them. Out of the meat cuts I tried, my favorite cut was the Sirloin because of how tender and flavorful it tasted along when eaten along with the dipping sauces it came with. I'd recommend this place! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the cuts here and liked how they help cook for you. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to cook and eat at the same time at those barbecue restaurants, so that was a nice change of pace for a Korean bbq style restaurant.

Solid kbbq!! Came in on Friday night and it wasn't busy, no reservations needed. They help cook the meat for you and they do it well. Cuts of meat are of pretty good quality as well.

Came here on a Saturday night with a group of four and were seated right away, which was a great start. We ordered the large beef combo, which included a variety of meats, shrimp, a choice of soup, and a small bossam. It also came with a ton of banchan, salad, and a variety of sauces. All of the meats were high quality and flavorful. The bossam was especially delicious, and the soup was a nice compliment to the meal. The staff also cooked the meat for us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was attentive throughout the dinner, and the restaurant had a great vibe overall. I'd highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the mood for KBBQ!

If you're in the South Bay, Wooga is a KBBQ favorite you can't miss. We always recommend the beef combo; it's the best way to try a little bit of everything. They take care of the cooking at your table, and their side dishes are fantastic. Between the high-quality meat and the amazing sauces, it's a truly authentic experience. Definitely add this to your list!

First visit and it instantly became my favorite Korean restaurant in the Bay Area. We went on a Friday around 3pm and ordered the weekday lunch specials, which is a great deal with delicious food and excellent service. The side dishes really outstanding: generous portions and everything was so tasty. We especially loved the bok choy pickle and the glass noodles. We were so impressed that the staff proactively offered refills without us having to ask, something you don't often see, especially since side dishes are complimentary. It really shows the generosity of the restaurant. We ordered the lunch specials with spicy pork and spicy beef tofu soup, and both were fantastic. For only $28 total, it was an incredible value and big portion for two people. The spicy soup was rich and flavorful, and the tofu was smooth. We also tried the galbitang (beef bone soup), and it was exceed our expectation, the meat was tender and the broth was flavorful Can't wait to come back and try their BBQ next time!

This was our first time here and it was so good! It's kinda similar to Baekjeong where there is a set meal but I think the value and quality of meat is significantly better here. We got the combo for 2-3 people and it was plenty. They cook the meat for you too which is a bonus. I would definitely come back here. Make sure to make a reservation or come around 5 it starts to get packed around 6.

I've been to Wooga around 3 times and it's been such a great experience and service each time. The staff are really attentive & they cook for you. Very helpful when having a long day at work and getting to zone out at the table because that's what I did last night. This time my partner and I ordered via À la carte but if you're new and want to try a bit of everything I recommend the beef combo it comes with a lot of food that will fill your stomach. I've also been with a party of 3 getting the large combo and we left super stuffed. For à la carte we ordered: the brisket & marinated short ribs, keep in mind for the meat the requirement is to order 2. Then we got the combination Seolleongtang & gopchang + daechang. The quality of the meat is great and the marinated short ribs are always a favorite of mine. The Seolleongtang was nice and hot along with tender tendons & ox tail. The brisket has a nice touch coming with bean sprouts the addition of veggies help cut the fat & refreshes the tastebuds. Going onto the gopchang & daechang they clean the intestines very well, I just wish they had a little more flavor & crispiness. But over all it hit the spot.

The best flavors in these generous KBBQ combos at Wooga. I tried the Wooga Beef combo for $139 that feeds 3, and the portions were amazing. Four cuts of meats, shrimp, soup, steamed egg, all the banchan, plus complimentary bossam which you never see included in a combo. My favorites were the short rib and ribeye, so tender and melt in your mouth, especially with their savory sauces. The spicy galbijjim is the dish I cannot stop thinking about. Braised short ribs that are rich, slightly spicy, and fall apart soft, you have to order this spicy fingerlicking dish with torched cheese. If you are looking for premium meat cuts, tons of sides, and tableside grilling with great vibes, this new spot is worth visiting.

Best kbbq I've had for a while! Great quality and portion for the price. My boyfriend and I shared the Medium Beef Combo set which came with 3 red meats, shrimp, a stew (choose from soybean or tofu), steamed egg, and bossam. So much food and that's not even including the plenty of sides and sauces they give. For $139 it was very worth it and we had a meals worth of leftovers. We also wanted to try their rose tteokbokki and it was soooo yummy! Creamy, cheesy, rosy, with a nice kick, so may rice cakes & fish cakes inside. Overall, definitely a very good option if you're craving kbbq and willing to splurge a little. I think the price is worth it! The workers were also really efficient at cooking the meats, and the place itself was clean and the floors weren't slippery.

===TL;DR=== - Beef combo ===TMI=== Gotta love a good Korean bbq spot and they're one of them. Very close to one of those LA spots expect here in the Bay Area. Not AYCE but trust me, you'll walk away with way more food than you can devour. I love how they have multiple sets depending on your protein or headcount choice, there's something for everyone. They offer high quality beef and they did not disappoint. The best part is their combo includes so much sides!! So fair warning, don't get sidetracked by all the sides cause otherwise, you'll easily forget your main courses..... that feels like they never end. Staffs here also cook for you but when it gets busy, you might have to monitor it yourself in case the meat gets burnt. Surprisingly the shrimp was realllllllly good! And malatang is part of the combo? Say no more. 2 thing that threw me off was I asked 2 staff at 2 different times to see if they do any birthday deals, both said they'll get back to me but never did. I know they're busy but it would be nice to circle back. Second thing was..... the table was not oil splatter friendly, especially if you're sitting on the couch side. It'll be nice to offer some aprons so we don't get oil stains everywhere.

Great food, high quality meat and side dishes! I did feel it was a bit overpriced considering other Kbbq options in the Bay. We came on a Friday night so it was busy with a long wait, service was still great once we got seated especially considering how busy it was. Ambiance was good, the decor is updated and trendy though the interior was smoky and very loud since we went at a busy time. Overall I'd consider returning at a less crowded time.

    2/19/2025. Portion control at a non-ayce kbbq =(
    Jeff F.

This is a non-ayce KBBQ also known as portion control, but even worse with a high price tag! Braised Short ribs with cheese ($74): tender beef that was wasted in a sweet tomato broth, 2.5/5 stars. Beef combo for 3-4 people - ribeye, short rib meat, beef brisket, marinated beef finger meat, and shrimp ($179): 3.5/5 stars, the quality of the proteins were decent, but it wasn't enough for our party. I had better meat quality (marbling, tenderness, and flavor) at other Korean BBQ spots that happen to be all you can eat. Our server had no personality and only said about three words tops, but she did cook all of our measly 14 ounces of meat for us. A cousin picked this place and is now banned from deciding where our family eats for the next decade =)

    Bossam
    Elvis N.

While better than the previous KBBQ spot that was here (Bull Ohgane), Wooga falls short of expectations. I think it lacks commitment to greatness. When you're in the premium meats lane and dare to go Non-AYCE, you better check all boxes. Meat quality is okay - of the beef set menu, the only things that were notable were the ribeye and short rib -- only because it's by definition a better cut than everything else in marbling. They cook for you here, but the works just want to get it over with. No interaction or smiles, just nonstop cooking whether you're at pace or not. They just pile on cooked meat awkwardly on the corner of your grill. You're there watching it get cold as you eat. Sides were really skimpy. Staff either ignored it or just didn't care to refill. Ambiance isn't great and I think the emptiness during peak dinner time reflects that. It's hazy, dead, and again-- doesn't fully commit to the lane they're in. Tables are at an odd height and very tightly fit the booths. Staff's just wandering around waiting for patrons to turn over. While I didn't have a bad time, I didn't have a great one. There are better options for both non-AYCE and AYCE KBBQ. This falls under the bottom half of that list. 3/5, hope it improves. Lots of IG hype, but it doesn't translate well practically. I'd put ToBang, Seorai, Baekjeong, and YakiniQ over this place. It is definitely better than Gen and Goku tho.

Nice location - lots of parking and we love to have found a Vietnamese coffee place. I typically get the egg coffee but decided to go with their new Peanut Butter Latte and I'm so glad I did. It comes already with oat milk which is perfect. I will say - for the large the ratio on cream to coffee was little off. I'd prefer less of the cream and more coffee but it was still delicious and refreshing - not too sweet and had a lot of the PB flavor. Hubby got the Pandan Matcha. He loved it - though it was a bit too sweet for him so he waited for the ice to melt a bit. Not sure if we could have adjusted the sweetness. Youngest got the Banana Latte and devoured it quickly. Fair to say I think she really enjoyed it! Nice that they are so close to us now. Will definitely be one of our go to for Vietnamese coffee!!

We met up and since I'm a big fan of peanut butter and based on the reviews, I ordered a cold Peanut Butter Latte. It was delicious and refreshing. I think I finished it in 2 minutes! My friend ordered the Peach Mango fruit tea and she said it was very good. The one thing to note is that seating is limited, both inside and outside. It's in a shopping mall so perhaps taking it to go either before or after a shopping excursion could be a good idea.

I ordered the chicken plate, and the chicken was incredibly dry, tough, and completely lacking in flavor. It was honestly difficult to eat. None of us enjoyed our meals, which made the experience even more frustrating. I'm writing this review in the hope that the owner sees it and shares it with the management team. The kitchen really needs stronger quality control before dishes are served to customers. Good service alone can't make up for poor food. If the food quality doesn't improve, I think it will be difficult to earn repeat customers after their first visit. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously because the staff deserve food that matches the level of service they provide.
