One of the best tattoo shops in LA! Ganga tattoo focuses on hyper-realistic tattoos. I was blessed with the opportunity to get tattoo'd by Fran D'menchi, an artist from Spain. We spoke ideas over Instagram and he developed a sketch. After a few suggestions, he came up with the perfect piece. On the day of the tattoo, he spent plenty of time placing the tattoo bc placement is key. He hit it right on the dot! The piece took around two hours and I'm in love with it! His attention to detail is amazing! I will definitely be back to get a piece done by him. Or probably book a flight to Spain for another one! The shop in general is clean, and has a nice aesthetic that matches its brand. If you're looking for a realistic tattoo, check out the artists for this shop!

First session out of five with Fede at Ganga Tattoo studio! All so amazing with well known Fede Almanzor.

Ganga Tattoo Parlor is amazing! Everyone is so friendly, professional and real. I personally got to meet Ganga himself and what an outstanding dude. William the apprentice is also outstanding and takes great care of you finding your perfect tattoo artist and makes scheduling a breeze. I was fortunate enough to have Fede commit to my 20 year old full arm sleeve Tattoo after our consultation as I knew this place was for me. Fede listened, took all my years of collecting and I ask him to put his own into it! Amazing this Fede is as today was my first session of a 4 Koi fish full wrap arm, shoulder, partial chess. My first session is looking amazing as it's bring tears to my eyes as the meaning of this tattoo is meant with my heart. The details he does and coloring is so top notch no wonder he is a famous tattoo artist. Fede is so awesome in what he does and makes you feel comfortable the whole time. He knows the spots that gives more pain and he goes a little then to another area just to comfort the canvas. Appreciate you Fede If anyone is reading this book with Fede Almanzor @ Ganga tattoo

Went in to celebrate my bf's first tattoo piece and seriously couldn't be happier with how this turned out. Jenni is super talented and creative to work with and made the whole process feel really comfortable and easy from start to finish. The detail in this piece is just insane! The wings, the shading, everything came out so clean and the placement flows perfectly on his back as Jenni recommended. The vibe was amazing and she made sure we were good the whole session. This was my first time at Ganga tattoo, atmosphere was fire! Very chill and relaxed place, all the staff was very welcoming and inviting. The place is easy to find and feels very comforting. Very comfortable lounge and artists are incredibly talented! Throughout the tattooing process, the artist walked my partner through every step, making sure comfort was the number one objective. With free snacks and a cool but cozy atmosphere, there's no reason to go anywhere else ! As we both have gone to Ganga twice now, there hasn't been a single tattoo piece that isn't a pure masterpiece, and the artists are incredibly friendly. Another two beautiful and deeply sentimental pieces by Jenni. Both of my sons wrote "I love you mom/mommy," and I knew I wanted those words permanently on my body, a reminder of the purest kind of love I'll ever know. These tattoos mean more to me than I can even put into words. They represent my boys, their love, and the pieces of my heart that walk around outside of me every day. Got a tattoo here with the artist, Gkirin, big arm piece. Black and grey realism. Got a full day with him. We worked on the design together in the first hour and once he finalized the piece he then knocked it out in 5 and a half hours. All in one session. Looks amazing! Super detailed and just a stunning piece of art. It was a cover-up too. Can't even tell what I had before at all. The space is pretty cool too. Very chill. Highly recommended! read more

I've been to at least five tattoo studios over the years, and Ganga is by far superior to all of them. Jenni has been my go-to artist for over three years now. She's the best! Not only is she a highly trained and experienced artist, but she is super talented with fine line work. She has the exact kind of energy and artistic eye that one would hope to find in someone who is putting permanent art on your body. Each time I share my ideas with her, she provides her professional opinion on how to make the designs even better (everything from style, placement, realism, etc.). If I counted correctly, she's done 13 of my 18 tattoos (it's hard to count because some of them blend together in the most beautiful way). Furthermore, I always look forward to hanging out with Jenni for hours and hours while she works her magic, because she's fun to talk to and is so kind and enthusiastic about her art, and her clients. Overall, the entire vibe at Ganga is chill yet professional. (Great snacks, too!) If they were closer to where I live, I would have way more ink than what I have now. Lol. Thank you, Jenni! Booked a hand tattoo and was charged 400.00 over the quote for "free touch ups" . Two weeks later the tattoo falls out and when I call back the tattoo artist quit. Artist decides not to help or reply so Ganga says they will provide another artist . Every month since I've called for a half year. Everytime the same girl answers claiming I will get a call back . Luis was my tattoo artist. He is phenomenal. I am 100% happy with the black and white portrait tattoo of my husky; he also added color to the eyes and mountains and trees per my instruction. She looks just like my husky. He was patient and took his time. I would 100% recommend him. Check out his work; he's very talented. The tattoo shop also had beautiful aesthetics, and the tattoo artists that I saw doing their thing were also amazing. Definitely check them out. read more

Then I realized the only reason I don't really care is because it's somewhere not normally visible. If it was on my arm I would be horrified. I was actually referred to THS by multiple people so I looked into them and found Endry. His work really impressed me and my boyfriend who was also a tattoo artist back in the day. So I booked an appt to have a very simple roman numeral tattoo done under my collarbone. The booking process was actually very easy and the shop worked with me. There's a $200 minimum and there's a $100 deposit that you Venmo before the appointment is made. I honestly found the booking process super smooth and easy. If you can find it, there's metered parking right in front of the shop which is super convenient. I honestly love the vibe of this place. Endry was so kind and welcoming and made my first tattoo the best experience it could've been (also want to note I have a needle phobia so this is a legit compliment). I have since seen Endry multiple times for more extensive work. Endry is truly an incredible artist who really puts care and consideration into each piece. You can tell he really cares about his craft and I have so much respect for that. Working with him has been a pleasure and I look forward to my next session with him. I actually recently got my forearm done with a beautiful fine line floral wrap and I am still in awe at the photorealistic detail in the flowers. I found my artist and my place and I would 100% recommend going here whether it's your first or you're looking to continue on in your tattoo journey.

I was really nervous after having a horrible first time septum piercing where the piercer pierced my septum crooked, hit the cartilage and then blamed my nose shape. I've wanted a cartilage for quite some time so I decided to get a second opinion and I'm really glad I did. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable and re-assuring. He took a look and told me I could probably get one but he would verify once he was able to check my nose. He was able to immediately determine the septum spot was higher up. The pain was extremely minimal. I really appreciated that Bruce walked me through every step of the process. I'll definitely be back.

When looking into the tattoo I was considering getting I asked the artist for a price estimate. He gave me an incredibly vague answer and left me uneasy to ask further. As though I was bothering him. I then picked a tattoo option from one of their designs and he printed stencils. He proceeds to tell me because I "didn't ask about the price for this one" it will be $150 instead of $200. So keep that in mind if you brave this place. I then went to stand on a box for my tattoo to be stenciled and was rudely corrected on my posture. It wasn't "can you please put your hands to the side" it was pure annoyance that I wasn't perfectly positioned with minimal instruction. The tattoo is on my ankle and when I went to put my foot up on the table while wearing my shoe I was no joke SCREAMED AT. I asked previously about my shoe and thought the answer was it was ok, especially since the table was wrapped for sanitary purposes. Once I set up at the table he began to tattoo me. I was scolded for moving (I understand the frustration) but it was involuntary. Mind you as an ankle tattoo this one was going to be painful and I was aware. The other artist working even defended me because it wasn't intentional. I was repeatedly told I would "fuck up your tattoo" and "it's hard to make straight lines when you move." Like no shit, but also there was no communication on how long, what he was doing, etc. so I was just doing my best. I repeatedly I apologized and was deep breathing and doing everything in my power to stay still and make it easy. I swear he just wanted to torture me. It was almost pathetic. Anyways, all this to say the tattoo came out great but the experience was horrendous. Really upsetting and think this place could do a lot better if they were kinder to their customers. Update per Rocco's reply': Not asking to be coddled, just to be treated with human decency. Have had plenty of pleasant tattoo experiences elsewhere. Your response speaks for itself. Every appointment. 1-2 days after getting my nails done, after every visit with her, the gel-x nails would crack or break in half. I've been getting apres gel-x for yearsssss (on a monthly basis at multiple salons all over LA and Canada). This has never happened to me before where they would break, only after visiting this salon.... when i reached out to her multiple times to express my disappointment, for $150+ nails, she deflected, blamed... me? for my nails?! This was my last conversation with her. After I confronted her, she unfollowed and blocked me on social media. I just wanted a refund of the $$ I paid for my nails. As a note, when I get gel-x at Ibiza Nails in WeHo, or Nail'd It in Glendale or Pasadena - those aprex gel-x last me 4-6 weeks, even when I was moving and opening boxes. Sadly, due to how I was treated, and the state of my nails, with lumpy thick coats, and the prep/cleaning of the nails, after every appointment, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this salon.

On Wednesday I got a flash tattoo from Henko. The flash was a girl wearing a leather jacket and crown. By far, it's my favorite tattoo out of all the ones I currently have. The shop was so clean and spacious, they even have some snacks and drinks if you need them. The vibe was so friendly and everyone there has been so kind to me. The tattoo had so many small details and he managed to get them to look real. I love how he shaded the tattoo to make it even more realistic. I've been coming to ganga for 2/3 years on and off and always come back to see Jenni. Got my first tattoo ever done with her and she's done all my work since! She's great as a first timer and has a very light touch. She will help with your design and placement if you aren't 100% sure about what you want.
