We came here during lunch while visiting from out of town. They had a good selection of beer and cocktails. I ordered the pulled beef sandwich with the brussel sprouts and creamy mushroom soup. The food came out quick and ready for my belly! The beef sandwich was a little dry but overall had a good flavor to it. The brussel sprouts were amazing perfectly cooked. I wish I would have tried this place sooner. We came here for brunch on the weekend. It was decently crowded, but we didn't have any trouble getting in. We started with the tater tots. I love any kind of taster tots, but these were the Beyoncé of tater tots. I would definitely recommend them and you even get a free app of them for checking in on yelp. For brunch I got the vegan burger with beet chips. The beet chips were homemade and perfectly crispy. The burger was also really good--I would definitely get it again when I'm looking for something on the lighter side. I also tried the cornbread and chorizo gravy. It was heavy but delicious, something I would definitely order in the future. Everyone else loved their food too and the service was great. Tried this place today for the first time. My mom and I both really enjoyed our lunch. She got the soup and salad combo with the wedge and cheese soup. She loved that soup. They have seasonal soups that change, but the beer cheese soup is always on the menu. I got the pretzel crusted chicken sandwhich with chips and French onion dip. Was delicious. We've always had good meals at 101, and the new Westerville location is our new go-to spot. I love the wings, and I'm usually pleased with any entree I order. My bf loves the pizza. Tonight we went for the "Restaurant Week" menu. We were really just excited about the short ribs. His fried mushrooms were pretty good, as were our desserts. But our short ribs...dry and lacking in flavor. We had to add salt and pepper at the table. I loved braised short ribs, but these were a bit dry. Maybe they were going for quantity over quality just fit restaurant week? I'm not sure. But if you're looking for a solid dinner, good beer selection and fun atmosphere, 101 BK should satisfy. Now I did find an available alternative, and the food was fine if not 5 stars, but if you advertise 101 beers you should have 101 beers. I'd bet that they have significantly less than 101. I'd rather have 12 choices, and please don't waste 3 taps on Coors Light, Bud Light and Miller Lite - few can tell the difference anyway. read more

I've been a fan of the Dublin 101 Beer Kitchen location for years (I celebrated my 21st birthday there), so I was excited to discover the Polaris location. My fiance and I were meeting a friend for drinks. We arrived at the tail end of Happy Hour (which ends at 7 pm) and the host and our server graciously allowed us to order our first round of drinks at Happy Hour prices. 101 Beer Kitchen has great Happy Hour specials on draft beer and their selection is always good and changes with the season. I ordered a sour by Wolf's Ridge that I really enjoyed! Our server was attentive while still giving us enough space to talk and enjoy our conversation. We were seated in the bar, which was initially a bit loud (no big deal-that's what I expect during Happy Hour), but eventually quieted down a bit. I personally love the decor and vibe. The 101 is the quintessential middle America restaurant that becomes the Friday night 'go-to-spot' because it isn't a well known chain but is near suburbia and your interstate exit. You can almost hear your neighbor telling you about their new find..."they have cheese curds and tater tot appetizers...not like the wings and nachos every where else...". Right now the 101 is TGI Fridays before they got big. I guess that happens to all small local spots when they franchise/expand. Also wonderful beer selection from breweries all over Ohio. I loved how they used growlers for your water, the details of the concept are very well thought out IMO. Ambiance is casual, great place to meet up with friends or a fun date night. I had the burger & fries and it was delicious! I wish I lived in Columbus to go more often! I was tempted to try the pretzels too, but I would have been so stuffed. Next time!! Other caution is that it is very popular & crowded! They wouldn't take our reservation over the phone (understandable), but make sure you prepare for that if you are going during a peak time. Will never set foot in there. The 90 year old manager- I heard his name was Tim from another one.0 one beer kitchen employee. He's very rude. Very rude - in front of the other employees and also in front of other customers. Very unprofessional because I didn't want food that I EAT put on a seat where people put their butts. He said - really loud and rude. That's where we put it. I was not rude to him. But when I'm paying for something and I've already put the request in before I pick it up yet they still do it then that's a problem. He needs to not work amongst people. He's very unsanitary. Gahanna does it too but they're not rude when you ask them not to although they don't want to do it either. You can tell. But they're not rude about it. The one who doesn't do it is Dublin. They have a table and they said they do not do that because it's unsanitary so everyone stick with Dublin because Tim doesn't care about your problems or if you're not satisfied even though you're spending YOUR money. Tim is the 90 year old with missing teeth, and bad legs. Maybe that's why he is so bitter. read more

Homemade soft pretzels that are way different than most, smoked wings were good, nice kids menu, fried cod was super tender and not greasy at all, homemade vinegar chips were the bomb. Everything served here is 100% scratch made and it tastes like it. Good beer selection and great service.
