So cute inside. This big shopping pit has like a zillion Asian restaurants surrounding it, but we chose this one and it was a great pick! The pork dumplings were delicious, my curry noodles were a bit spicy but not too much so (I did request MILD--not sure I could eat them at regular heat), and the dessert was absolutely amazing. read more

We tried this restaurant for lunch. It has a lot of positive feedback, so I decided to give it a shot. They weren't crowded, and the service was prompt. We began with Thai iced tea and Lychee bubble tea. Both were tasty, though I couldn't detect any tea flavor in them. To me, they tasted like sweet coconut milk. Then they served us their vegetable spring rolls. I ordered their pad Thai chicken. It was delectable. My husband had their Thai Pineapple fried rice, which came with chicken, shrimp, onions, eggs, pineapple, bean sprouts, and other ingredients. The food and ambiance are excellent. I intend to return the next time I'm in the area and try their ramen noodles. Overall, I recommend this restaurant, which appears to have multiple locations in Miami. This place is good. We expected more considering the reviews and 4.5 star rating, but it met expectations. The buns were delicious flavor wise just wish there was more of it in the bun. The bun is a good thickness and when the meat is gone, you'll probably do what I did and dip the bread in the sauce. The noodles were pretty average like any other Chinese takeout. read more

This place is. Secret gem. Never did I think I would find something this delicious in shopping center we come to for Walgreens. The food is spectacular, the service can be compared to a cheery white glove affair, and the ambiance was inviting, homey, and welcoming. We were a party of 15 and we had such an amazing time. Our waitress Sandy was such a doll, she just couldn't do enough for us. The appetizers were fingerpicking good, they came out immediately after we ordered them. 3 things about this place: 1. I had to stay in Miami for a day and was looking for some good places to eat and this place caught my eye with good reviews, so why not give this restaurant a try. Great, small restaurant with nice atmosphere. However, inside was really hot. 2. Chicken karage and takoyaki were ordered for appetizers and they both were fantastic. The karage was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Takoyaki was extremely hot when it came out and the sauces went well with it. 3. The Hell's Ramen and Spicy Sesame Noodle were ordered as the entrees and the ramen lacked in flavors compared to other Japanese ramen places I've been to and it was not spicy at all. Spicy sesame noodle was not what I expected to be; I thought the spicy sesame noodle had something to do with sesame chili oil but was not and it was EXTREMELY salty that I couldn't even finish the food and I always finish my plate wherever I am. Also, the sesame noodle was heavy on herbs, which overpowered everything on the noodle when the description on the menu doesn't say anything about having herb flavor on the menu and only shows a picture of cilantro on the menu. Overall, from my experience, appetizers were solid but the entrees were very, very disappointing. I don't know if I had a bad experience but I don't think I recommend this place honestly. read more

Always enjoy eating at 107 Taste, I have been to a couple of their locations. Today we had the Blue Crab Rangoon for a starter and Chicken Pad Thai Noodles, be careful with how spicy you order it, you can order it mild, medium or hot, mild is spicy enough for me, but of course that's personal preference. It's a casual location (FIU), service was on point. Families, students, young people hangling out on a Sunday afternoon, would recommend this restaturant. I used to go there since they first opened, it was great both on service and on taste. The bigger they got the worst their service became. The food now is not bad but not as good as it used to be. I've had a variety of foods from takoyaki (always put to much bonito flakes) to the curry to the ramen. Service is horrible. Not even go take a drink order when you drop off the menus. It's not even the first time that has happened. I've had to wait 10-15 minutes after everyone else got their food to get mine after flagging down another waiter because or tables was mia. It took a while for me to come back again after that incident. Bad services ruins your business. read more

The place looked a bit run down and the bathroom was pretty bad so I was worried when we first arrived. However the food ended up being pretty good. We had ramen, gyoza and some kind of meat in BBQ sauce. They were all good. Would of liked the broth to be a bit more fatty with a bit more flavor on the ramen, but overall it was good. For me, the overall rating and need to wait 40 minutes just leaves me perplexed. We ordered a hot jasmin tea for the table, crab Rangoon, pad Thai with tofu, and pineapple fried rice (bbq pork). All of the food lacked flavor and seasoning. Fried rice needed to be doused with siracha and soy sauce. Crab Rangoon had no cream cheese filling, but flakes of crab. And my fried tofu in my pad Thai dish was soggy and not crispy. The pad Thai was decent and just nothing special worth noting. This is a really good Japanese / Korean spot that could be great with some small tweaks. Parking is easy, located on 107th ave across from FIU. Decent seating inside, not huge but not tiny. The food I loved and would definitely have it again and explore more of their menu items, but we need a vegetarian Miso broth option for the Ramen. I had the Takoyaki appetizer - it's fried balls stuffed with octopus, cabbage, and with some tasty flakes on top and tastier sauce on the bottom. An order gives you five delicious ones. For my main dish I tried the "Hell's Ramen". It was spicy and satisfying! Just enough burn to add excitement to the day. Really recommend it for spice lovers. I visited with my wife for lunch. There were two or so tables taken on a weekday around noon. We felt safe there, good COVID precautions. For constructive feedback I do wish they can do their ramen with a Miso broth without pork in the broth. My wife doesn't eat red meat or pork and this was a deal breaker....though the menu listed it as Miso ramen. If the chef can prepare their delicious ramen dishes with all the toppings and a meatless Miso base, then we would definitely return. read more

First time at 107 Taste. It's a quaint little spot and I came because it had great reviews. I was excited because they had a Miso Ramen soup. However, when I arrived, I found out that all the soups were made with a chicken and pork broth. Despite the 'Miso' description of the soup - I don't eat pork, and was therefore, highly disappointed. I did order the pineapple fried rice and the chicken Pad Thai. The pineapple fried rice was just OK. The chicken Pad Thai was pretty good but I think it could have used more noodles in my opinion. The pad Thai was filled with bean sprouts mixed in, way too many for my taste. I think I'll only return if they decide to put a soup option without pork or an actual Miso soup option with ramen and other ingredients. read more

Rating: 4.5 09/2020 Everytime I search for boba or ramen in Yelp, 107 Taste always pops right up! So on a cold, pandemic evening in September, we were off to see what all buzz was all about. It's located right on 107th, on a huge strip mall behind FIU so that means plenty of parking. Due to Covid, seating is limited inside but the good news is they have a few tables outside. Restaurant: The restaurant is very small but it has that very hip appeal and I can see why many college students find themselves here. One side of the restaurant have a simple brick wall and the other have an insta-worthy, tropical topiary backdrop. There's huge counter where you can watch them make your coffee and boba. Service: Right away, this place won me with their awesome customer service. The young man that greeted us at the door was so approachable and nice. He made sure he cleaned the table for us ASAP as we had been waiting awhile. He and another server (or owner I think her name was Victoria) answered all of our questions, made suggestions and were just very attentive. And at the end of the meal, Victoria gave the kids in our party some Halloween Candies and me a scratch off coupon for our next visit. Food: Finally! A place that serves my favorite Japanese street food: Takoyaki!!! Not only did they served it, they slayed! It was delicious! The vegetable spring roll and side of tempura shrimp was nice. And lastly, we had the Tonkotsu Ramen with Char-siu pork belly. It was a good size bowl, with so many beautiful toppings. The broth was flavorful and even a little bit of heat. The pork belly melts in your mouth and I wished there were more in the bowl! And for dessert, I tried their Milk Tea boba and it was nice and strong. I also ordered the Snowing Mountain Toast which is huge, everyone on the table enjoyed it. Its a slice of french toast with a nice scoop of ice cream, topped with strawberry slices. It was delicious, not too sweet and the strawberries were really fresh. Overall, this was a wonderful meal. It was a dreary, rainy, cold night during the pandemic and this place really helped us forget all that even just for a couple of hours. The place is clean. The staff are so nice and genuinely happy to have you there and wants you to return. The food was on point from the appetizers, the ramen to the boba and the dessert. The pricepoint is definitely not cramping my style. I can not wait to come back for some more! read more

Established in 2016.

107 Taste was established by Chef Yu. After Yu received her Hospitality Management bachelor degree in China, she went to continue study in Master Degree in Florida International University (FIU) and received her Master Degree in Hospitality Management in 2011. The first 107 Taste was open in 2016, in Westchester, FL on 107the Ave (this is how the name "107 Taste" come from!), right across FIU main campus. Since then, Yu had been working even harder because she wants to bring the gourmet food to more people in south FL! The second location of 107 Taste was open at Miami Lakes in 2019, and the third location will be open in Plantation, in 2020. Meet the Business Owner: Yu B.

Chef Yu was raised by her grandparents in a small village in northwestern China. Her grandmother worked as a Chef for more than 20 years, and her grandfather's family used to own a local famous wonton restaurant in Szechuan, China back in 1930s. Her entire childhood memories are full of grandparents' care, and she grew up with unbeatable grandmother's love meal. Due to her grandparents' impact, little Yu started learning and cooking meals for herself and for the family at the age of 8 not only because she is interested in food, but also because she has passion about cooking good food for families and friends. After Yu received her bachelor degree in China, she went to continue study in Hospitality Management in Florida International University (FIU) and received her Master Degree in Hospitality Management in 2011. Then, she opened her first 107 Taste restaurant in 2016 to bring the delicious Asian fusion dishes to SW Miami.

The food was still great, but after today's experience, I'll definitely be paying much closer attention to how my drinks are prepared. I've always had a great experience at Finka, which is why today was especially disappointing. I hope this was just an off day and not a change in their usual standards.

Ok, to start off. My older sister goes to college here, and when my family was visiting her we decided to go to this place with her. We ordered the Zombie Plant cake. It was AMAZING. I don't remember what we ordered next, but I think it was Boba. The service was amazing, but it took a bit long, but it makes up because the food also tastes amazing. The decor in this place was so amazing, it was definitely instagram-able. The walls were the best, because they had a mural of some sorts of a boy and girl enjoying some noodles. I have one suggestion. Add some vegetarian options for the ramen, like the broth. Me and my family are muslim (and my sister), and we can't eat meat unless it's slaughtered in a different way (if we don't know people qualified in the religion tell us not to eat it, and this can include broths, but we are allowed to eat fish, no pork, and no blood from the animal). It was a bit of a shock when they told us they didn't have any vegetarian/fist broth (I recommend adding like a miso or tofu broth). But, the menu was so big, and we could've gotten a lot more things, so props for that. Anyways, this restaurant is PERFECT, but they should add like a Halal menu with the same things as the regular menu, or most of the meat items in the menu have a halal version. **UPDATE** so I've been coming to this location consistently for several months already, I've seen them transition frequently with different management but this last change is way too extreme for me & has unfortunately ruined the restaurant for me. I used to order their miso ramen soup which used to be priced at $10.50, they've raised the price by $4 so it is now $14. Not only did they raise prices but they also completely changed the recipes of their items. The usual miso soup I would order changed into this creamy chicken broth with fried pieces of tofu in it & peanuts.. it was too much of a dramatic change & I personally didn't like the taste of it so I had to return it. On top of that, we had ordered an oolong teapot and the server completely forgot about it. She didn't bother to still offer me the tea, she was very quick to refund me the entire order. I was pretty disappointed in the service, don't see myself coming here anymore. Older review: Reasonable prices for quality food & a calm relaxing atmosphere. Tried their miso ramen hesitantly since it was only $10 & was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Would much rather come eat ramen here than to go downtown & waste money on overpriced mediocre ramen. Will definitely come here more often read more

I already loved 107 Taste, but I usually ordered takeout. I finally decided to dine in and try their famous ramen that I've seen praised everywhere, and I can honestly say it's probably my favorite ramen right now. The broth is absolutely delicious, and the pork is TOP TIER. Super softender, and packed with flavor. And unlike a lot of ramen spots, they actually give you a good amount of pork in your bowl. No complaints there. Honestly, every dish I've tried here has been delicious. They simply don't miss. The peanut wontons are also a MUST HAVE. I really don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here. Service was also A1. All the staff were super nice, attentive, and constantly checking in to make sure everything was good. 107 Taste is definitely a must visit. This place is awesome! For vegetarians who love Asian cuisine, this place is heaven. We had the Korean rice cake (spicy!! and delicious), Kimchi Fried rice which is also spicy (but IMHO not the best thing on the menu), the Vegan Spicy Ramen which is a MUST TRY! and the Miso Ramen which is a soupy dish. Everything comes out piping hot and is obviously freshly prepared - the heat lasts long so you know this was on stove top NOT microwave. The place is clean and the staff know what each menu item is, is patient enough to explain and even willing to let you try something and if you hate it, refund or exchange for something else. They are super friendly and the ambiance is simple and clean. Recommend that you try it and we will be going there often! I've been coming to this place 4 times a month since 2016, and boy has this place gone the drain. Post-2017 this place has changed dramatically. I don't know if it's new ownership or a change in staff but it has gotten so bad that the last time i went (tuesday of last week) at around 8:00 pm it was DEAD, no one was there except me and 2 of my friends. When we went to get some food it was not fresh, dry, but because i was so hungry i had no choice. The pork was disgusting, hard to smell because it's been there for long time. 50 minutes passed by and no people started to show up. This place is done, 107 are finished. Never going back. If you guys want fresh Asian food go to restaurants! It's not going to be cheap but it'll be worth it. read more

107 taste has become a staple for my boyfriend, friends and myself. It's a small spot across from FIU but the food packs a punch in taste. Their hot and sour soup has been one of the most spiciest dishes I've had so be cautious if you don't like spice too much. Their ramen, any option, is as if your Japanese grandma you didn't know you had made it for you. The noodle dishes are just as great. I will definitely be going back and trying a different dish. Last but not least, their crepe cake; where do I begin with their crepe cake? Either flavor, Nutella or green tea, is perfection. Any option off the menu will not disappoint. It was our first time we've visited 107 taste. I was immediately greeted by super helpful and sweet Victoria. Victoria helped my girlfriend and I choose our entrees, since we had never been here before. I got Hell's Ramen while my girlfriend ordered Pad Thai with Tofu. We both absolutely loved our meals, and our expectations were more than met. The ambiance of this spot was very chil, warm and inviting and all the staff was extremely attentive not only to us, but it was clear they helped everyone else out greatly. I don't know what's wrong with the owner's mind. At first, I wanted to order Ramen because I've been to LA and NY tried Ramen in Japenese restaurant with around $6.5. I've been a loyal patron of 107 Taste for years, and it's been a favorite of mine for a long time. However, I must say that since the pandemic, the quality has noticeably declined. While I still enjoy ordering their ramen soup for delivery, it just doesn't taste quite the same as it used to. There seems to be something different about the ingredients or the preparation. Despite this, the restaurant still offers good food. I hope they can return to their pre-pandemic standards because this place has always held a special spot in my heart. I recently dined at 107 Taste in Miami, and it was an outstanding experience! We ordered chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, wings, gyoza, and pad thai, and every single dish was phenomenal. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portions were generous. The service was quick and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the biggest perks was the free parking, which is a rarity in Miami. The prices were amazing, especially considering the amount of food we received. This spot is undoubtedly a top pick for ramen - the food is consistently amazing! As a regular customer, having my college nearby, I can vouch that this place has never let me down. The shoyu ramen, tonkotsu ramen, pad thai, and cheesy fire noodles are my absolute favorites. The gyozas make for fantastic starters every time. The spicey ramen soup is a must-try! It's not too hot to the point where you can't taste the soup, but I love the kick it gives. It also doesn't taste too porky...if that makes sense lol. It's the right balance of flavors! I've had the tonkatsu as well, but it's not as bold as the spicey ramen. The dessert is also great. I've gotten the green tea crepe cake and zombie plant before. Great coffee. Cool vibe. Nice place to study. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because they play elevator music REALLY loudly so that I can't even tune it out with headphones. My wife and I favorite restaurant. I do really like this place serving authentic and delicious Asian food. The restaurant has great vibe and feels like dining in Japan. Nice service. The food was fantastic. We had the Korean Spicy Ramen and Pad Thai were really great so delicious. Ramen was rich in flavor and has noodless has great texture too. Porky buns was one of the best seller. They also have some dessert and the Nutella crepe was good. I did enjoyed our lunch there. read more

First time come to here with my friends, the foods are amazing! !! I ordered the Udon Bowl, that is my favorite, the spicy sauce taste good. And my friend ordered the Tonkasu ramen with pork and shrimp tempura. All the dessert are homemade, and we ordered the Zombie plant and Hong Kong French toast, that's great. My husband and I went to this place a couple of days ago and we absolutely loved it! everyone was super friendly and their was a nice vibe in the restaurant! The food we ordered was soooooo delicious and till this day we still talk about it hahaha :D We are planning on going back again really soon! I've only ordered to go the times I've ordered from here and it's always been great!! I would love to come in soon to fully enjoy the dishes straight out of the kitchen! I definitely recommend this spot for some enjoyable Asian dishes!!! If there's anything I could recommend is the Korean spicy ramen, spicy sesame, takoyaki, crispy oyster mushroom! Additionally, our service was a bit slow, with our waiter right over our shoulder asking if we were ready to place our order, no then not being around for the rest of the meal. Maybe it was just an off night though, and the food did come out fairly quickly. Overall I did enjoy my meal here, and I would probably come back eventually when I want something slightly more upscale. But on a day-to-day I would probably go Edward for my sushi fix. Not that the food was bad by any meals. I really enjoyed the fun and different flavor combinations, it's just a little pricy to go to everyday, and in my opinion the main portion sizes don't quite reflect that or have any particular flare to them aside from a colorful/flavorful sauce or topping in them. Recommend a try if you are nearby though to see for yourself.
