First flushing standards, this place is slightly below average. For starters I ordered the shrimp pork and chive dumplings for $13.99. It was very bland and disappointing and it came with a vinegar sauce and that did not help. The signature braised noodle $14.99 was just okay. The broth did not have enough depth and it was just average. I would not come back.

When you go down the escalator to the Eat Up Food Court, this is the first stall to the right. With its hand-made noodle station, it is quite eye catching. Hence, I had to try their food. Unfortunately, the Signature Braised Beef Noodle Soup was very pedestrian. The noodle has a decent chew, but not much else. The broth was very light in beef flavor. Overall, not what I would come back for. We also had some Shrimp, Chive & Pork Dumplings since very few shops in this food court had that as an option. I don't regret it, but definitely average for Flushing standards. Btw, the shrimp was tiny, roughly about 1/4-1/3 of a whole small shrimp. Lol

This is a noodle stall located inside a food court, so expectations were set for a quick and casual meal. The noodles had a decent texture, but the overall flavor was pretty average. The broth lacked depth and didn't really stand out, though the addition of half a boiled egg and peanuts was something new and added a bit of interest to the flavor. For $14.99, the portion felt just okay and didn't offer great value compared to other noodle spots nearby. Overall, it's fine if you're already in the area and want something convenient, but it's not a place I'd go out of my way to revisit.

The noodles were incredibly bouncy and had an amazing mouth feel. The broth was rich and bursting with flavor. I'm allergic to shrimp and got the vegetable broth with beef and was worried about that flavor but it was so amazing I plan to become a regular. My husband enjoyed the traditional shrimp wonton soup and he said it was delicious!! Small inside dining area but on a weekday we had no wait. I ate in the enclosed patio which only had two tables, and the inside didn't seem much bigger. There is no bathroom for customers so don't bank on bio breaks here. It's efficient in that I was seated promptly, was able to place my order when I was ready, and the food came out lickety-split. Carry cash for a discount. I ordered the Wonton, Dumpling, & Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($14.75) under the "Popular Items" section of the menu since it seemed sampler-esque. The wontons and dumplings were similar since they both contained shrimp and pork but I leaned towards the dumplings since they also included mushroom, bamboo, wood ear, and chives. The duck egg noodles, beef, and broth rounded out the awesomeness. Can't wait to return with others!

I always get the same thing which they've really mastered - the Stir Fried Wide Noodles with Chicken in particular! The sauce is spicy and mouthwatering, but not overpowering and SO flavorful. Well, this one was a big letdown. First, the notification didn't work. After orders from the kiosk where there was only one person ahead of me. I waited for 15 minutes and still no text. I saw the person in front of me also went up because his order also wasn't served. He couldn't believe it's taking this long either. The amount of protein in the skewers was simply pathetic, feeling like one segment too short. One piece was completely fatty, and another segment was part of a bony cartilage which I had to spit out. We also tried their milk skin yogurt. It was pre-packaged in a cup. The texture was nice and silky. It was slightly sweet and not sour at all as I had feared. But at $5.50 that's an expensive cup of yogurt.

Everything was absolutely amazingly fresh and Yummylicious! The wontons are so huge, I have eat it in 2 bites. The best part is there's a jumbo shrimp in each wonton. The dumplings are so addicting too. Especially since I don't like the hard skin but they use a thin wrapping for their dumplings (like their wontons) which I love. For the lo mein, I loved the option to add beef stew sauce to the noodle. The extra charge is so worth it! Maxi's Noodle 2 definitely deserves my Yummylicious Stamp of Approval! Two thumbs up! They are stuffed with shrimp in a delicate noodle wrapper floating in a tasty broth. The Chinese beef stew makes a great compliment to a bowl of steamy noodles with tender slices of beef flank and beef tendons (my favorite part). Noodle dishes can also be ordered Hong Kong style on a plate with broth on the side. We also get a dish of boiled vegetables with oyster sauce to round out our meal (usually baby Chinese Broccoli or choy sum). The menu has expanded since the last time we were here with new side dishes like curry fish balls and braised shiitake mushrooms that you can get over noodles or a la carte. There are even bubble teas now! If you like, you can even get a box of fried fish skin to go. Just remember that you have to bus your own table.

The Khong Rou Fan is comforting and flavorful, and the Niu Rou Mian is always a good choice when you want something warm and satisfying. The string beans were a nice light appetizer to start. It's before Yelp and even before internet time). I could not imagine I can have this noodle in Bayside now. Comparing to the famous beef noodles I had, this is pretty good but still a way to go. Let's start with the noodle. It is al dente and carry the soup really well. The braised beef made well too. The tenderness is just fine. However, I missed the big piece of meat instead of bite size chopped cube. It is easy to eat but could be more satisfying. The Shanghainese Pok Choy is a must in order to complete this dish authentically. However, it's overly chopped. I missed the couple halved Shanghainese Pok Choy placed nicely on the side. For the soup, the fave is fine and the balance of the sour and savory is just to the point. However, I wish I could have more pickled veggie that added more sourness to the soup. It would be much better to place a container of pickled veggie on each table for the customer to add it freely. That would be perfect. This place is cozy, clean and neat. Thanks for the ambiance. I think I would still come back when I crave for Taiwanese noodles. Lap Yin Calvin Kwok
