Also known as Camellia Family Inc. or Huang Jin Jiao. Great service, very accommodating. The vegetarian duck was okay but a bit water-logged and perhaps not super fresh, although certainly not bad. Worth trying, but lacked the delicious texture you often see in mock duck in, for instance, Thai cuisine. They are well-known for their fish cake. This restaurant has another location, in New York Food Court, stall #23 in the corner. Call before visiting, as the hours are not always up to date on all platforms.

If you are interested in wenzhou cuisine and want an authentic taste. This is that place. Also has a nice selection of Chinese side dishes to take home as well.

Chinese food is everywhere in the Flushing area and home to many diverse Chinese cuisines covering regions of Canton, Shanghai, Fuzhou, Xian, Sichuan, Peking, Hokkien, Henan, Uyghur, Hunan, Taiwan and I'm sure there's others out there that I'm not aware of. Now I can also add Wenzhou cuisine to the list. Aesthetically, the place is a mess, but they're not here to impress you with their looks, but more so to dazzle you with their food. Many items are in food trays and ready to go. Wenzhou cuisine is known for their duck preparations and now I know why. The duck is a cold dish and has a flavorful smokiness and saltiness to the meat which renders it moist and tender, a must have. We also had the vegetarian duck, bean cured gluetin stuffed with julienne carrots, mushrooms and a delicious soy based vinaigrette sauce on the side. My least favorite and spicy dish is the beef, tripe and tendon. Very Spicy but not very flavorful and the ratio of 10% beef and 90% tripe/tendon didn't help either. For a small restaurant they have many items to choose from and also offer party size trays. They don't have paper menus only electronic ones via the QR code.

Cuisine: 7 Service: 7 Decor: 3 Value: 9 Overall: 7 This hole in the wall take out shop specializes food from Wen Zhou. I have ordered to go from here countless times. Everything is quite solid and priced well. Pork Rib Soup Noodle is my favorite item here. The meat is cooked perfectly, the broth is flavorful, and the noodles have an amazing chew. If I'm ordering only one thing here, I get this dish with added stewed pork intestines and extra sour cabbage. Other items are tasty too, including Beef Soup Noodle, Smoke or Sesame Soy Duck, Fu Chi Fei Pen, Chicken Gizzards with Celery, etc. There are so many options and most of it are quite good for a very reasonable price. Give this place a try.

Updated menu as of April 2021. No English, and I'm not sure if the staff speak English

The rating is based on their beef noodles and pork rib noodles. I personally do not like their marinated goods (cold appetizers) so I don't think I should comment on them. I schlepped here for lunch upon the recommendation of a friend. (Yes I travel for good food lol) This is totally a hole in the wall kind of place, and if you don't read or speak Chinese, it can be difficult to order. They sell Wenzhou food which I'm not familiar with, but I like their noodles - they are just good Chinese noodles regardless of what province / style of Chinese food it is. The menu is updated at the counter and the prices are pretty low.

What a gem!!! The photos others have uploaded looked so good, I couldn't help but to take a chance a give this place a go. I'm so glad we did!!! The food was fresh and delicious. The serving was fantastic. We originally wanted to try the crispy pork belly which was sold out, they made a recommendation that was great. All the dishes taste super fresh and the flavors worked perfect. The shop is small and doesn't like much, but what a wonderful surprise. We will definitely be back to try the rest of their offerings.

Wenzhou style noodles with pork after mixing. Definitely add some of their homemade hot oil to make it really good.

**BEST SPARERIB NOODLE SOUP IN FLUSHING** **UNIQUE WENZHOU STYLE FOOD** OVERVIEW: Wenzhou is a city on the eastern coast of China, that is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the ocean on the other. This geographic isolation, has resulted in it's culture, cuisine, and language being somewhat different from the rest of China. And so, you can expect to find dishes here, at Golden Corner noodles, that are different from what is served at most other chinese restaurants. For example, there are some really unique soups available, such as their Wenzhou fish cake noodle soup. Hell, even their wonton soup is unlike anything you will find elsewhere. In addition, their side dishes here are - if not totally unique - somewhat different from what's being served just about everywhere else. Yes sir, you could say this place has it's own special cuisine, and the proprietors know most people won't be familiar with what they are serving. But they aren't worried, because they know most everything here is delicious, and the place is busy from morning till night. So now, let me ask, how many times have we said to ourselves - I'm hungry, but I'm tired of the same old sh#t, I want something different. Well folks, let me tell you, this is the joint to check out, if you want to try something different. But also, understand that what you are going to get at this tiny take-out restaurant, are their fantastic soups, and also xiao chi (small eats), like fried ribs or cold salads - such as their fantastic marinated gluten with wood ear mushrooms. WHAT TO ORDER: - You have to try the spare rib noodle soup, with its dark complex broth, marinated fall-off-the- bone tender ribs, and perfectly cooked chewy noodles. And even though they're not serving fresh hand pulled noodles here, for some reason, they are fantastic and super satisfying. - The beef noodle soup is also a great choice, with tender meat, great broth, and again, those wonderful noodles that make me smile. - The Wenzhou fish ball noodle soup and the sweet potato noodle soup are delicious choices. And for those who enjoy intestines, the marinated intestine noodle soup is a really popular item. -If you like spicy, dont forget to add some of their homemade chili oil to your soups. this makes it even better. - The fried ribs, and the sweet and sour ribs, are chopped into small pieces, and are very tasty. You can try adding some of them to your soup. - The fried pork belly is a savory and delicious guilty pleasure. - If you enjoy duck, the braised sesame duck is delicious. - The Wenzhou style noodles with pork, and vinegar & garlic dressing is really good, but you need to add some of their homemade hot oil to it to make it perfect. - The marinated tea eggs are especially good here, so I always grab a few. - If you like beef jerky, try the pork jerky, which is a sweet and slightly spicy treat. - The marinated gluten with wood ear mushrooms, and the different pickled vegetables are my favorite cold salads here. I bet you'll enjoy them also. - Fans of chicken feet will enjoy the garlic flavor version they have here. SERVICE/DECOR: It really helps if you can speak a little Mandarin when ordering here, but more often than not, there is someone behind the counter that can also speak English. And if needed, there is a picture menu that you can point to, right on the wall by the counter. Another tip if your worried about ordering, is to visit the store after 6 pm. Late in the day like this, there's usually a young gentleman at the register that speaks English and Chinese - plus, he is also very helpful and friendly. In addition, there's a self- serve open display case with different cold appetizers, that you can bring up to the cashier to purchase. And finally, once you place your ordet, the food is usually ready very quickly, as the kitchen is run very efficiently. And now I also have to mention, that the looks of this place are not going to impress anyone. It's a very small take-out shop, that can fit maybe ten people placing orders, at the most. And since this place has been around for many years, everything has that kind of old look to it, including a bunch of old faded pictures above the counter. PARTING THOUGHTS: It could be a bit tricky now and then to place your order, and the store is a little crappy looking, but please don't let these minor issues deter you from visiting this unique place. Trust me - to start out, just walk in, order a spare rib noodle soup and maybe some fried pork belly or ribs . Then, sit in your car and eat the soup while the noodles are still perfect. After this, I bet you'll come back for more when your in the area. I always do.

Small location with the best noodle soups. Soup usually comes with the relish but you can ask them not to add it. Hot oil is also available upon request and the order comes out quickly.

Where have you heard this before, "Hole in the wall noodle joint that exceeds expectations". Yep, I know, but this joint really exceeds. Fresh springy noodles, great broth, cheap and fast. So what if ordering is a bit of a challenge and it's cash only, there are pictures on the wall to assist and did I mention it's cheap? Of two options I tried, the noodles were consistent, and the pork ribs were fall off the bone tender. The ribs seemed to have been started in boiling water first but it didn't matter, the broth provide a nice backdrop to support with crunchy fresh veggies included. They had other options, most notably some crunchy pork belly which I'll have to come back any try on my next visit. There isn't much seating or parking for that matter, so consider grabbing your noodles to go which is what I did.

So I've been missing Szechuan Capital since it closed many years ago but their beef with noodle in soup was the best. Golden Corner's beef with noodle in soup was excellent, as well as the spare ribs with noodle in soup. These two have completely different flavors and they are equally delicious. See photos. (Ok so I'm all about the food, but took off one star because there ain't nothing fancy 'bout this place. It's tiny w/ one table in the vestibule but I'd say it's takeout only, lol. Also it's not really on a corner.) I took some pictures of the only menu and the pictures on the wall as they are the only English things in there. 4 soups $38- 12/26/21

This is probably my go to spot for wenzhounese food, besides my kitchen . The place is small and has AC but their door stays open so its pretty hot there, so be prepared to sweat. The person who took our order was very informative and gave us all the details we needed to find the right bowl of noodles. We ended up going with their homemade sweet potato noodles, wonton soup, and their spareribs noodle soup. On the side we also got the fried pork belly crisps, which were so good we had to buy a large to bring back. The food reminded me of my grandmas cooking and brings back great memories. We will definitely be back! If youre looking for wenzhounese food, this is the spot.

Just when I thought this place is away from Main Street, Flushing it would be quiet... Nopes! The crowd goes to where good food is! With about ten seats only (two small tables for two and five stools at the bar), this place it literally what we all call a 'hole in the wall' spot. A good friend and I got a seat at the bar with a view of different marinated cold appetizers and workers busy packing them up. We started with appetizers: the infamous Fried Pork Belly and their take on Spicy Beef and Tendon. Fried Pork Belly is beautifully deep-fried in a golden brown color. Each piece was so crispy and crunchy. It does take a little bit of effort to chew but put some sriracha and chili oil; just to spice it up a notch! Wen Zhou Wonton Soup. It was a rainy day, I just got rained on... and this was the perfect dish to fix that. I did love how simple but tasty at the same time this dish was. There were strips of fried egg, seaweed, spinach, scallions, and minced meat that tops the wonton soup. The wontons had a very small meat filling with dough flying around; similar to Fujianese wontons but with much more. My friend calls them 'ghost wontons' perhaps he meant that it looked like those ghost tissues that we all made for Halloween back in elementary school...haha yes?! I didn't taste much from the wontons themselves but the soup was there to save the day. Braised Beef Tendon Soup was very tasty. What really stood out for me is the pickled vegetables that made the soup so delicious. The beef tendons especially the fatty pieces were so soft and just melts in my mouth. They are not stingy with their proportions: lots of meat and even much more noodles. Definitely worth it! Overall, ideal spot for a quick lunch. No Chinese necessary!

This is going to be a quickie. Zero decor, zero English, pictures are good, pointing is a must, always be polite and smile, seating is limited, noodle soup was excellent. The food: Stewed Beef Noodle Soup- I thought this was great, I am not sure if the other items below are still available, since they updated their menu, but I had this bowl today and I still really like their noodle soup. The noodles were hand pulled with great texture, the beef was fall apart tender and the pickled cabbage added such nice acidity to counter the richness of the beef. I really like their noodle soup here. Braised Beef Tendon noodle soup- I have to say, this was probably one of the better bowls of noodle soup I've had. The broth was excellent, the pickled veg added a nice acidity to the very beefy broth. There was an abundance of tendon, almost too much and it was cooked almost to the point of it falling apart. I do wish there were chunks of beef though, one can only eat so much noodles and tendon. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=4jhHLn2Rx1rF4i9fwYVM8Q&userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA Fried Crispy Pork Belly- Yup, no intro really needed. It's fried pork belly, what? It's essentially a pork chip. It's crispy and some bits are slightly chewy, this is definitely something you share. I did like it but it became too one note. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=BlMtXNV-bUBoP-700BMeGA&userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA Fried Crispy Spare Ribs- The is similar to the item above and is made well. The pork has a nice outer crust and the rib meat inside is nice and tender. I think both fried items are good but you can never say no to pork belly =) Spicy Beef, Tripe & Tendon- I enjoyed this, the beef was cooked really well and the tripe had a nice chew and soaked up the lovely spicy oil. The tendon was nice and jiggly, but it should have been a little more jiggly, if you know what I mean. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=WOFKAdMFcFwIWW9rEPhtZw Stewed Spareribs noodle soup- I thought this dish was OK. The noodles and the broth were nice and the spareribs were "no teeth required" tender, but the flavor of the spareribs was intense. I am not sure if it's the marinade or Chinese alcohol they use, but there is a very distinct Chinesey taste that comes from the spareribs that was too strong for me. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rT9XD0r-RUvI7l7RuarzjQ&userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA Braised Boneless Pork Shoulder- I though this was just OK. It was like a boiled piece of pork, the black vinegar was too strong for me. The price isn't listed and it's a huge portion, but it turns out it was $9 bucks... I will try the fried pork belly next time. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Cy1R_vo26wsShlBDpkoqyw&userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA

We walked into a casual space that fit the style of food, with the main focus being on freshly made noodles, flavorful broths, and hearty dishes. The dining room had a practical, no-fuss energy with a steady flow of customers coming in for a warm bowl, and the open kitchen gave us a view of the noodle pulling process that added a layer of engagement to the meal. The Lanzhou beef noodle soup is the main highlight and the dish that defines the restaurant. We ordered a bowl and found the broth with a rich, savory flavor and a good balance of spices, while the hand-pulled noodles had a satisfying texture that made each bite enjoyable. The thin slices of beef added another layer to the dish, and the chili oil gave the soup extra depth without overpowering the original flavors of the broth. Beyond the noodles, the lamb skewers were another standout item, the meat tender and well seasoned with a smoky grilled flavor that paired nicely with the noodle dishes. The menu also included other options like braised beef noodles and lamb dishes, giving us a few different ways to experience the flavors of Lanzhou cuisine. Service was polite and the overall experience felt relaxed. The restaurant has a straightforward setup, making it a good option for a casual meal, and the ability to customize the meal depending on whether we wanted something lighter or more filling made it easy to adjust the order to our preferences. The staff moved through orders with efficiency, and the food came out hot and well assembled. Overall, DunHuang Lanzhou Beef Noodle is a solid spot for anyone craving authentic Chinese beef noodle soup. The combination of flavorful broth, freshly made noodles, and well-prepared meat dishes makes it worth visiting. It is a simple concept done well, and a place we would return to when looking for a comforting bowl of handmade noodles.

A perfect spot to grab both Cantonese and Sichuan food! The walnut shrimp is a must order…read more All the dishes that we ate were both visually exceptional and delicious! The walnut shrimp had jumbo shrimp and was perfectly sweet and crunchy. The fish fillet in chili oil had the perfect amount of spicy, which was so warming for the cold weather. The salmon and geoduck sashimi were really fresh. There are private rooms upstairs that have karaoke and mahjong. We were in the 888 room and it was super spacious. The service was great - the staff helps change plates frequently.

The food: Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetable- So I had this on two occasions, the first time it was mind-blowingly delicious, the second time while still good was a bit dry. Overall, a must order dish just for that chance for it to be amazing. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=y4Gd64K7mJgyhOG5LDugYA Fish Filet with pepper- This was incredibly complex and so flavorful. The fish had a wonderful silkiness and the flavor of the broth was outstanding. It kinda gave you like a warm chicken noodle broth vibe but it has a little bit of a kick. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=8fRdQqyoZboCP_r4euYHyA Mapo Tofu- This was one of the best versions of this dish I have had. It had the right texture of the tofu and the consistency of the sauce.
