I don't love this place. Compared to the abundance of delicious and authentic Vietnamese food available in the area, this place is lacking. I have tried the pho, the luc lac, the vermicelli, and the banh mi. The garlic noodles are okay at best, I am not sure why there are so many people raving about them. The only thing I would order again is the banh mi as it is a good portion for the price. On the bright side, Loose Leaf Boba Co. is just across the street. read more

Very legit bowl of Pho here. Dark broth, not too salty. The brisket is thinly cut Witt no fat, but very plentiful and flavorful. I personally prefer the fatty brisket, but this was very good. Cold, crisp sprouts - very fresh. Not a lot of Jalapeño but I didn't ask for more. No chili sauce here - just Siriacha and Hoisen sauce. The bowl itself is a good portion for the price. Walked in and saw the menu. Immediately knew that this wasn't going to be your normal pho spot. Didn't see a menu with your different pho noodles options, especially not with their vietnamese names turned english. Got my order of pho noodles with brisket, rare flank, and meatballs along with beef AND chicken broth. I found it incredibly sad. It was as if they were rationing their food. I got a small amount of noodles for a big bowl of soup, 3 meatballs, 2 pieces of brisket, and 2 pieces of rare flank. The soup broth is beef AND chicken. I'm used to either beef broth or chicken broth, not both in one. My favorite part of the experience was their sriracha sauce and ain't nothing can go wrong with that. read more

The 123 Pho restaurant is amazing. As a regular soup/noddle eater, I can tell you a plethora of reason to eat here when having craving for pho. First of all, the costumer service is very welcoming and they are eager to show what is good in their opinion! Secondly, their food is mouth watering . There beverages are tasty and I recommend their pho and garlic noodles! Thirdly, there safety and seriousness about these strange times. Hands down the best pho in Long Beach. Prices are reasonable - sure its maybe a $1-2 premium from spots in little Saigon but I think that's fair considering convenience of the location and ambience of the restaurant. Staff is super friendly and the counter service ordering process makes things efficient. Love that they have draft beer too! Plus free 2 hr parking across the street! This place took the concept of a pho restaurant and made it into a hip modern place where people can hang out, watch sports, and treat themselves to some brew or wine at the bar area. It's a wide open space where you look at the big menu display, order, pay, and then take your seat. There's not a ton of tables and chairs if you want to have a large party, but if it's not busy you may be able to make it work. They played some good hip-hop music and the workers/servers were at a young college student age. The young lady who helped us at the register was extremely accommodating and thorough with our orders. She even asked us if we wanted to split the oreo milkshake in half to share! She also gave us good suggestions on ordering. I even asked her if I could get my milk tea at the end of the meal and she said no problem. For the pho you can choose 3 proteins, I doubled my brisket and had veggies. We also got the vermicelli pork rolls. The food was delicious! They give you a nice big bowl of pho with plenty of noodles. Their noodles weren't soggy either. As for the meat, I ordered two servings of brisket. It didn't even seem like there was one full serving! I barely got any meat in my pho let alone the two servings I ordered. I was very upset about that! We also had to remind them of our vermicelli pork roll order (which fell apart easily as we tried to eat it, but it was still good). And towards the end of the meal, I had to ask for my milk tea or else I'm sure I would have never gotten it. Because of the service and the lack of protein I ordered, I knocked down two stars from this place. I cannot believe I BARELY got any meat. One of the best egg rolls I ever had and I don't even like egg rolls generally. The Vermicelli Rolls were unlike anything I ever seen. It was very fragile but so tasty. With the egg rolls, I expected the pho to exceed my expectations as well but it was ok. I found the chicken very dry. As for the service, for a casual restaurant, it was great. We live in Downtown Long Beach, and this is a fabulous place for Pho. During COVID, I order my food online on Yelp, and then my boyfriend picks up the order. It always is very smooth, and they always get the food right. Their broth is really delicious. I always get the Brisket Pho, my boyfriend gets the Chicken Pho, and we also love their Vege Egg Rolls. Ordered over the phone and I walk in I see egg rolls sitting on the counter I take a seat for about 5 mins and see the egg rolls still sitting on the counter not to go like a phone order normally is, I ask if my order is ready and they look at me laugh and give me the egg rolls that have been sitting on the counter and I tell them it's to go it's a phone order the young girls working continues to give me attitude like I did something wrong. My wife were so happy a Pho restaurant opened in our neighborhood. We went to the restaurant about once a week. When it first opened it was excellent. We went yesterday for another good experience. But was greeted by a young lady that didn't seem to want to be there. I usually give a tip at the counter paying bycredit card but this time I didn't because of her attitude. It took a lot longer to get our order than we've experienced before. Then I found a piece of paper in my soup after I was eating it for a while. It grossed me out that maybe someone put something in my food. I spoke to the manager but he kept making excuses and of course wouldn't admit to wrong of his employees because it would be reflection on him. He offered our next meal on the house. Pretty good food, but AMAZING customer service! I ordered through Postmates, and the Postmates driver forgot a part of my order (I don't think this was any fault of the restaurant). So I called the restaurant, and they sent some from their own restaurant (maybe the owner?) to actually redeliver my forgotten order! Wow! I felt so bad that they had to do that, but talk about going above and beyond for their customers. I appreciated that very much. i've been wanting to try this place since it's opened and finally have been there twice recently. i got the pho both times and you can choose your noodles (thin or thick), choice of 3 proteins (i like the rare brisket), and choice of broth (chicken/beef or vegetarian). you order and pay at the counter and then they give you a number to place on the table so they can bring you your food. the food comes out pretty fast and is always piping hot! my husband got the lemongrass pork with rice which he really enjoyed. my pho was delicious both times and the broth was so flavorful. i always ask for extra limes to perfect the broth. i just wished they put more meat in mine since i only get one protein instead of 3. i went with my cousins the first time who chose 3 different proteins, and they all had a lot more meat in theirs compared to mine. for drinks they do have wine and beer which is nice. i got the hibiscus lemonade last time after finding out it was fresh squeezed, but didn't like it so got the regular fresh squeezed lemonade instead. i have to say it wasn't that great and i wouldn't order it again. on the bright side they have a lot of other drinks to choose from. read more

This is my first time here but I'm curious how does pho this tasteless cost so much? Also the portion of the pho and meat were horrible. I had a couple of strands of meat which didnt even last the whole bowl of noodles. Spare yourself the dissapointment and go to a real pho shop where they actually have special combinations and tons of meat along with flavorful broth. Not this sorry excuse for a bowl. Real pho shops are also cheaper and give way more. I was lazy to drive out of long beach but from now on I would rather drive then feel cheated out of a real bowl of goodness. read more

I was excited to try this place as it's walking distance to my home and work. I walked by everyday while they were getting set up. I went in with pleasant expectations but I was very disappointed. It's like the Chipotle or Blaze Pizza of Pho. I guess it's what you would expect from a fast food chain restaurant. Small, limited and over priced menu. The Pho broth was quite bland and luke warm. It didn't taste authentic or flavorful at all. The portion size was smaller than what I was expecting including the plate of sides (jalapeños, bean sprouts and basil). There wasn't much at all. I had two small round slices of jalapeños, a sprig with 4 baby leaves of basil and I'd estimate a quarter cup of bean sprouts. Even the sauces came out pre plated in tiny condiment cups. If you like your soup spicy, ask for triple the amount of sauce. Hopefully they won't charge you for it. The ratio of noodles and meat to broth was also sad. I won't ever eat here again. For over $30 for two mediocre bowls of soup and one tea, I'd rather go the extra few blocks and eat at a more authentic Vietnamese/Pho restaurant that isn't so stingy and has more to offer. There's plenty around Long Beach. This is a big no for me. read more

I ordered chicken pho, the girl asked if I wanted more protein you can choose up to 2. I thought that was nice but made sense because of the price . Yikes. I said I'll try the beef but I would like more chicken in it. When I got it , it was like 3 pieces of chicken and the rest all beef so I was already disappointed. Secondly the broth had no flavor whatsoever it was such a bland pho I couldn't believe . My bowl is still sitting there pretty much full. Waste of money . I also ordered shrimp rolls. 2 small shrimp rolls for like $6? Yikes! You can go to Sophys on pch and obispo and get bigger fresh rolls and they come in 4 for $6 . That was another disappointment. I also ordered the taro smoothie , I loved the fact that they give you whip on top . Most dont. When I got it it had no whip she liked over filled it to the top where the whip would go and she gave me red boba. So I asked if there was supposed to be whip she said yes she took it back and squeezed in a little. She said the had not more black boba but it red ones taste the same. Ummm they do not, but thanks for letting me know you run out after the fact. It's expensive and my food was not what I expected. I will not be coming back. This type of setup isn't for everyone as you order then get a number, no waiters however I don't mind. The food is always amazing. I have tried just about everything on the menu and it is always so flavorful! They serve alcohol here. Surprisingly i've never ordered but I do think it is cool that you can grab a beer with your meal. I have eaten in the restaurant and also ordered delivery. for delivery the food is always hot and fresh and the pho comes in the coolest and most convenient container and you mix all the ingredients in yourself that way the noodles don't get soggy. It's slightly pricing in comparison to most Vietnamese places but I am OK paying for such great quality. this is now my go to pho place, highly recommend! read more
