First time I came was for their drinks coconut coffee and some boba tea. This time around dined in ordered their pho and lemongrass pork plate. I was a little hesitant but I'm glad I gave them a try. The ambiance is very cool with an open-air eating area but the food was pretty underwhelming. We ordered the summer rolls which didn't have much taste, and the peanut sauce which is usually my favorite part just didn't taste right. The rolls were also cut into halves making them hard to eat (all the ingredients fell out as we ate the rolls.) We also ordered pho which was ok... Lastly, I ordered some basic fried rice but even that was disappointing. There was a serious lack of ingredients in it. I couldn't find any onions/scallions, and there was also no egg. I always give new restaurants a chance as you might find that next hotspot, however, I'm spoiled with the quality of pho in Cerritos and of course in Little Saigon (OC). The fact you can only choose 3 meats in a pho bowl or be charged more is strange. Where is the good old combination bowl? They didn't have tendon, so I went with brisket, rare steak, and meatballs. There was no rare steak cause they threw it in the broth so I just had extra cooked slices of meat. Broth could be more flavorful, and since you only get 3 meats, put more of it. My 4 colleagues ordered spring rolls, shaken beef, lemongrass chicken noodles, shrimp salad, and they all said they've had better with me in OC and Cerritos. Service is a bit strange as you order at a counter and then sit down but you don't have a consistent person so you have to get your own water, constantly ask for more napkins, utensils. I will not recommend this place if you're wanting authentic Vietnamese food not will I be coming back unless it's free. read more

The customer service here is rude and disrespectful. We came with a group and parents sat at one table and the kids at another. The worker named something like AJ came over to the adult table and had an attitude and told us that the because the kids were not eating they had to leave the restaurant so other people can sit down. Our kids were minors, 13yrs and 3 yrs old. We told the employee we weren't done eating yet and asked where our kids are supposed to go, it was later at night, and the employee said in a threatening way "well I can call security and have them escort you out". The employee was rude and jumped right to threaten us with security over kicking our minor kids out when we were still eating their food that we ordered from this place. The food isn't good either. I ordered the bahn mi last week on DoorDash and it tasted amazing so I thought let me bring my partner here to 123 Pho at the Enclave for a Saturday brunch date. The plaza is nice and modern so the atmosphere and vibe feels good... but thats where the vibe ends. There was only 1 worker (bleached blonde hair down the middle) at the register she seems very rushed asking "anything else??" After every item... it felt like we were an inconvenience to her. She was loudly talking on her phone to what sounded like her personal bank about her paycheck or something like that. When we received our food it was delicious... props to the kitchen... but she forgot our napkins and went back on her phone. After searching the whole dining area for napkins I located them near the kitchen in the dining room. As I was walking up to grab a napkin she said HEY!!! and then proceeded to talk on her cellphone. 123 Pho is a new Vietnamese restaurant that opened in the Enclave and was very excited to give it a try. This is a great addition to the area since we work nearby and variety is always a plus. Being from SGV and eating tons of Pho (my go to is Phoholic in OC) I had high expectations. Yesterday my coworker (from OC) and I finally had some downtime to give this place a shot. We headed to the restaurant and the ambiance was very nice at the Enclave with outdoor music and outdoor seating. When arriving at the front, the menu had a plethora of items from banh mi, smoothies, and even alcohol. The staff was nice and a cashier opened a new line for us since we had been waiting for a while. We both ordered the Pho, mine was with wide noodles with our choice of protein (meatball,rare flank, and tendon since they had availability) in beef/chicken broth and the other was Pho with wide noodles (brisket, tendon, and meatball) and the same broth. We chose to sit outside and shortly our dish came and we were impressed by the look and aroma, however that's where the positive ended. Like any Pho dish we first tried the broth before adding any sides, condiments, and seasoning if needed. The very first sip we both said it's pretty salty and not hot at all. The temperature on the pho was lukewarm to mildly warm where you can take big slurps and you wouldn't burn your tongue. Mind you I ordered rare beef flank on the side and when adding the meat into the broth it should be cooking it seconds however that's not the case. I had to leave it on for at least 6 mins before it started to look a bit cook. The tendon was very disappointing since we saw only 1 piece in each of our dishes about the size of half an inch and just 2 fatty parts afterwards. If we knew that was the expectation then we would have chose another proteins. The meatball they provided was a decent amount. Next was the wide noodles, that alone didn't even tasted cooked since it had a texture of being taken out of the fridge and wasn't heated up and place directly into the pho dish. I expected a more springy soft texture. Lastly the bean sprouts came out raw and wasn't blanched. Maybe that was my fault since I didn't asked for it or I got spoiled to majority blanched their bean sprouts. For the price my expectations was higher. Overall it was a bit below average for the food and price (2.5 stars) and half star for staff and ambiance so a total of 3 stars. read more

Again this place is in the north west building if you can picture this location as in a four piece building. Again located on 190th st between normandie and vermont on south side. Parking better out back. They recommended a beef chicken mixed broth which i got. You can pick up to three toppings. I picked flank, brisket, and tofu mushrooms. The pho came with a chopped up green onion and cilantro in think topping. Also the white onion basil jalapeño and lemon slice. Rice noodles are cooked al dente and come in the three piece plastic container to keep broth, noodles separate to prevent it to get too soggy. Overall place is pretty nice looking modern and maybe 6-7 long tables like picnic size to hold 6 possibly 8 and smaller section with small tables for two. It was pretty packed at lunch. It says they serve juices and coffees as well and different deserts. I got the crispy shrimp and pork eggrolls. Instead of viet style, it was more chinese style with that redish sweet sauce. I liked it though, the pork shrimp mixture was good. Overall, not a super authentic pho restaurant but overall was good and does fill that pho craving if you dont live near any pho restaurants. read more

The pho was so good! The soup and noodles are on point! The service is quick and respectful. The ambiance is great - shaded area and greenery everywhere. The egg rolls are a must try! Crispy and fresh! I like dipping it with sriracha and hoisin mixed together. The lemongrass was good as well but not as much lemongrass I personally would like to have but overall still great! If I could give it 0 stars I would. This restaurant has a B but should have an F. The food is not good and customer service is horrible. We went to eat there with a group of friends and our children. Adults sat in one table and our children at another. A staff member named AJ (that is the name she gave us), decided that since our children were done eating, they had to leave even though we (the adults) were still eating. She approached us very disrespectfully and said that the children had to wait for us outside. WTH! We asked if she was kidding, they were are minors (13 and a 3 year old). She then stated that she was not and wanted the table for other customers, again, was trying to kick out our kids. I told our group that I would just go outside with the kids while they finished eating but she didn't hear me and then tells us that if the children don't leave she was going to call security. We told her to go ahead, then the security comes with the same disrespectful attitude that she had and tells us we had to leave, then she tells him, she only needed the children to leave. No common sense! Like if we were going to have our children wait for us outside! I will look into placing a formal complaint but want to ensure others don't go through what we did. I placed a catering order for pick up for 3:30 2 days prior to the order. When I got to the restaurant at 3:00 I was informed that I would have an additional hour long wait. As I said previously it's a catering order. A catering order for a lunar New Year event. When I asked if they were prepared to compensate for the additional wait I was given an ultimatum and told they could cancel the order and return the money. Two stars are for the ambiance and friendly staff. The food is one star, I'm a Pho lover and eat this practically 3 times a week and been to every Pho restaurants. Broth is not your typical Pho flavor, salty! and it's lacking that authentic flavor. This place is very fusion so if you want an authentic Vietnamese food then this is not your place. Not a bad place, more of an Asian Fusion concept of Vietnamese compared to the more "real deal" places you will find in Gardena or Carson (or Cerritos, Artesia, Westminster, etc.). The Pho broth is a blend of beef and chicken, some sort of pre-made bouillon stock, not a bone broth that was done on-premises. But it was still good, although it came across a tad too salty to me. The various side dishes and the hot tea (jasmine) were good. Overall this place is fine if you are in the Harbor Gateway area, but I would not say it adds anything unique or distinctive to the Asian food culture in the South Bay. Also, they don't use the normal Vietnamese names for anything on the menu, you have to figure that part out for yourself. One "plus" is the indoor/outdoor architecture, on a nice day it would be a fine place to dine with friends or co-workers. I'll give that one up. read more
