B6 with extra veggies less noodles
Sandyna S.

Really love that there's finally a good Vietnamese restaurant in the Torrance area!! I've tried many Vietnamese restaurants in Torrance and none of them are good and authentic like this. The restaurant is very new, very clean and beautiful! The food is so delicious so fresh! They have a location in Orange County that also tastes so amazing! I ordered B6 vermicelli noodles with extra veggies and less noodles, it did not disappoint. The veggies were extra fresh. If you love egg rolls, I would definitely recommend ordering the appetizer size because their egg rolls are really good! This is a good location as they are right next to other really good restaurants. If you're craving a treat after dinner, you can walk across to yogurtland!

We came here for Vietnamese food. My bf got the Bun Bo Hue and I got the garlic noodles with shaken beef. The Bun Bo Hue came with the blood sausage, so that felt more authentic. Overall, it's an okay BBH dish. Doesn't have as strong of a flavor as I would have liked, such as that lemon grass flavor. But this BBH is probably better than some of the other BBH we had in South Bay. The garlic noodles with shaken beef was quite greasy and the beef was chewy. Although these two dishes were just okay, I would probably come back to try their other dishes. Service was quick. Staff was friendly. The restaurant had a simple modern decor.

All of the food was great! The only complaint is I wish there was more meat in the pho considering the price. Compared to other places I've been, this was the least amount of meat. Otherwise, great flavors and would go back.

I went to Pho Hue Oi on a random Wednesday. It was busy, with a steady stream of customers. I really liked the noodles and spring rolls and crispy egg rolls that we got. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the portion sizes were pretty good. My mom actually likes that noodle place better than other recent spots we've been to that are more highly rated on Yelp (#iykyk) if you know, you know. There are many parking spots around there. And afterwards, there are dessert places and other shops that you can go to for after eats. Enjoy.

We had zero wait on a Monday evening at 6pm. I ordered the pho dac biet and it was delicious! The broth was so flavorful and rich, I didn't even have to add oyster sauce or sriracha. The employees also took our order as soon as we sat down. The spring rolls were also delicious. Highly recommend!

I've been here close to a dozen times (I don't keep exact count), and true to form, I usually order the same thing: pho #1 plus an appetizer (either the fresh rolls or the pork egg rolls.) Across all those visits, my experience consistently lands at a solid four stars, and I'm happy to recommend this spot. The food is reliably good, and the service is friendly and responsive, which makes it easy to overlook occasional wait times or how close the tables are to each other. Parking has always worked out for me. I've never had trouble finding a spot. Sometimes this is the only place I'll go on a weekend, making the trip just to get pho. Definitely recommend.

I went to their newest location in Torrance! I love this place. Probably my favorite pho place. I used to go to the one on redondo beach, but this location is way closer to me. They have a booth where you can eat solo, and a bunch of tables inside. They have this special appetizer called the Banh Beo Chen. It's like mochi rice, topped with ground shrimp, crispy pork rinds and green onion. It's super tasty. I never had it any where else! They also have Bun Bo Hue which is a noodle with beef tender shank, pork hock, meat balls, and cooked blood pudding. All of these dishes I never really find in other pho shops. Their regular pho is amazing, but I do love the options of authentic vietnamese dishes offered here. I didn't get it this time but they have a lot of delicious flavored drinks as well. Totally worth trying!

I tried Pho Hue Oi in Torrance and left feeling pretty neutral overall. I ordered the chicken pho and paid the extra $1.50 to upgrade to the "fresh" noodles, plus a pork banh mi to go. Coming from the 626, where pho standards are high, the food itself felt mediocre--flavor was fine but nothing memorable, portions were on the smaller side, and prices felt high for what you get. By the way, I wouldn't upgrade to the fresh noodles again. That said, the ordering counter was efficient. I waited at the counter bar for about 15 minutes and everything came out without issue. The biggest positive here is the space itself: clean, new, modern, and comfortable--definitely one of the nicer-looking pho spots. If I were judging purely on food, I probably wouldn't come back unless there were no other options nearby. The experience was fine, just not compelling enough to stand out given the price and portion size.

Celebrating a birthday tonight. Should have checked Yelp before driving here because you can join the waitlist before getting there. Oh well. I hope this helps others. Nice selection of food and drink. It was delicious as well. The place is very popular. Ok, bye.

It's pretty decent and affordable at Pho Hue Oi in Torrance, CA. The area is walkable to many other restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and more. Busy vibes inside. It appears to be packed with customers, especially at lunchtime even on weekdays. $13.95-$16.50 for a rice plate here. $5.50 can get you a good beverage too. We had the special combination rice plate and the regular grilled chicken rice plates. Both were actually huge in portion sizes, so they are generous here. Tasted good. Milk tea was in a tall cup. Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk was strong in a smaller cup at the same price. Server was definitely busy with hands full. Menu wasn't huge. You can pretty much decide what you want to eat by glancing once or twice. Everything looks very affordable here. You can't get these prices in the San Francisco Bay Area for Vietnamese local foods. Pho Hue Oi is your average and casual local spot, but they did decorate for the holidays. Good location with plenty of free parking nearby. This is a good spot if you are visiting Torrance or making a quick in town stop. Nothing fancy here. It's just a very simple restaurant business.

Ordered a pork banh mi and a side of pho broth To Go. Sandwich rating Taste 4/5 - Pork meat was well marinated Portion - Bread was a little smaller than expected. Pho broth 3/5 - Was pretty light and did the job. Cleanliness - 4/5 Did see some specks of soy sauce on the counter where I was sitting at. Output time - About 10 minutes Place has a versatile menu, but gets the job done when you don't want to drive all the way to OC or 626.

Sunday around 1pm: nice clean, spacious seating observed at this restaurant. I like the paintings/artwork for an immersive experience even before ordering the food! I ordered B1. Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet. (See picture) I am not Vietnamese but the fact that it has "blood pudding" convinced me it's authentic or at least worth paying since it's uncommon to find that ingredient in the South Bay! The dish isn't too salty for me and I like the variety of meats served with a generous helping of cilantro . There are white round style noodles underneath. Portion was almost worth 2 meals to me! Staff was attentive - we had 2 kids so extra bowls and utensils were provided. I would definitely like to return and try their other items!

I think the food was good, they ran out of an ingredient in their spicy Pho, so went with a classic pho. For price and portion ratio didn't seem to add up.., I will be honest, i had a higher expectation since someone review this place so highly... Just another over priced Pho place, not special. Service was pretty good when they were pretty slammed due to the rain. Ambiance was nice, newer location.

They had 2 bento box options here and I got the Bento Box A ($19.99). It came with teriyaki salmon, burdock salad, fresh salad, shrimp tempura, pumpkin, shishito, and mushroom tempura. The side was a choice of rice or soba or upgrade to California roll for $1 or Salmon roll for $2. I went with the California roll. Here are my thoughts: Tempura: for all the hype around this, I thought it was ok. 3.5/5 stars Salmon teriyaki: it was a typical salmon teriyaki. It got cold quickly, but I think that is my fault since I kept taking pictures of the food. 3.4/5 stars Meatballs: first time trying Japanese meatballs and I thought it had a nice balance of sweet and savory. 4/5 stars Fresh salad: it was fresh. 4/5 stars California roll: it was ok and nothing to write home about. 3/5 stars Miso soul: it's definitely miso alright! 3/5 stars Service was minimal since it's food court food. The food was a pretty average experience, but the prices are restaurant prices. I guess it is worth a try if you really love tempura.

The panko crumbs on the chicken was nice and light. It was perfectly fried and not too hard/over crispy. The meat was also juicy. It was moist and sticky without being overcooked. The bad: I didn't get to experience the food court dining in the grocery store. The interesting: The dishes came with a side salad with orange dressing, pickled yellow radish, and some citrus wedges. The dishes came with 3 pickled side dishes (including kim chi). and a soup.

Probably because it's Korean, in a Korean supermarket, where the competitors that folded shop were not always. Other stands also had a freshness issue - not much turnover as most visitors want Korean. Each time I shop at HMart, I see big soup bowls from Hansol. And I think, as a giant soup lover, I need to get me some. It always looks so good. Unfortunately, it does not taste as good as it looks. For example, the 2 rib special looks fantastic but the meat is tough to eat. The noodles are flat, need some flare. The rice bowls lack flavor. I see all these glowing reviews and know I'm swimming against the tide. Probably sacrilege for me to say that the Hmart prepared food tastes better than this restaurant... but I find this to be the case. The prices - not great. You pay for the convenience of being in a market. Counterintuitive as the ambience is what what you'd expect to pay for.

The dolsot bibimbap is a generous portion, especially if you're sharing another entrée, and the crispy rice at the bottom is done just right. My go-to tofu soup is the kimchi and beef with medium spice, which always hits the spot. Everything comes out piping hot and is served with a generous selection of banchan.
