Best experience at a restaurant in my entire life. From the moment we entered it felt like we were living in luxury. The table was candle lit and we have a very formal layout of silver ware and plates. My boyfriend used the wrong fork to eat his salad so they took it and replaced it because that's the proper etiquette. Everything was incredibly delicious. For our table we got filet minion, salmon with dungenous crab, cod with dungenous crab, and sliders. I sampled everything and it was all cooked to perfection. I've never tasted anything so wonderful in my life. We got dessert that was yummy too! Our bill came to around $150 and it was worth every penny. I stayed with the lodge 3 nights for dinning. The rib eye steak the first night. The steak is full of flavor with a generous portion . You won't be disapointed. The staff is young and eager to please. Always checking on my drink and bread. Courteous and professional service from such young adults. Nice for a change to be waited on . My second night I ordered the fish and was very very good. Third night , RIB EYE again. I truly love this steak. I can't tell you how disappointed I have been in the past trying to find a steak with flavor and tenderness. I will order this every time . Yum ! You need to try the Scottie drink. Delicious food, wait staff is exceptional so far, been there 3 times. Pricey but expected for quality venue. Why not 5 stars, you ask. because on the last trip we utilized our open table and scheduled an apt or reservation. We arrive 5+ minutes early only to wait 10+ minutes beyond our reservation time. The staff didn't seem to worried about it. There is a fantastic little place in Arlington that is as good or possibly better in food quality, I might just drive there next time, no i'm not telling the name. read more

Mt family, a group of 10 had dinner for Mothers day dinner at Thirteen Moons. We had a great experience. The wait staff was attentive and the food was amazing. I had the special of the day which was a pan seared halibut. It was hands down the best halibut meal I have ever had. Cooked perfectly. I loved the mango salsa as well that was a compliment to the halibut.The crab cake appetizers were really yummy and the caesar salad was excellent. Looking forward to a return visit. read more

The service is always acceptable but not quite what I like when investing just shy of $200 on dinner and drinks for two. Wow, what can I say. This lovely Restaurant had the best food and service. The prices were very reasonable, it was quiet and relaxing. The outdoor patio area has a huge fireplace with gas logs that really put out the heat so we had our after dinner wine on the patio and enjoyed the fire. We went on a whim and at first glance the menu was...simple. Uninspiring, took me forever to decide what I wanted to eat, nothing jumped out at me. Service was great! I ordered the chicken Marsala dinner special, my girlfriend got the blackened cod dish. We waited a long time for our food, but well taken care of by Michelle, Meals arrive...looks good...chicken was bland, way to thick, chewy, blah. No flavor whatsoever. I almost gagged on a roasted potato that must have been rotten. The cod was charred...not blackened and certainly not as fresh as we were lead to believe. Overall not happy with food. Don't waste your time. A group of three of us went during the weekday last week. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes for ANYONE to swing by. They seemed to have enough staff around, but one of us still had to get up and hijack the hostess in order to get a drink order taken. Had reservations for 8 of us to celebrate my sister-in-laws birthday. The decor was very nice but that is about it for the positives. The waitress was slow and a tad bit rude. My sister-in-law ordered an appetizer of the scallops which cost $14 and she ONLY got 2 scallops which was crazy!!!! Oh and don't order a drink with an extra shot....they double the price of the WHOLE drink so in other words a bloody mary would cost $7.50 but if you want that "extra" shot it will cost you $15, again just crazy!! I had the Kobe burger which was nasty and extremely dry and why would you put cucumbers on it??? Where are the darn pickles?????? I would not recommend this place, you would be better off eating at the Red Robin in Burlington!!! read more

We have ate here a number of times when it has been really busy and had great service. We came at 5:15 for dinner on a Sunday and it has been the slowest service we have ever encountered. There are very few people dining, only one large party and it took over an hour to get food. Sad that this beautiful restaurant has such poor service. read more

I have eaten several times at this restaurant since it opened. Regrettably it has gone dramatically down hill since then. They used to have exceptional quality steaks at a great price. Now they have poor quality steaks at astronomical prices. Their chef, Dan, has absolutely no imagination nor taste. The chef's food currently tastes like something that should be served at a cheap buffet. The steaks are tough, the fish is mealy, and the salads are ridiculous. I should never have to use a knife to cut my own salad. They served me a salad that was half a head of lettuce dripping in water. Once a friend of mine was served arugula with their salad that has the root ball with all of the dirt still on it. A couple of bright spots: I have had several servers, the only one worth their salt is a gal named Nicki. If you go, only ask for her. They used to have a guy, Mike, who worked the sauté side of the grill and he did OK, haven't seen him in awhile. They used to have a kid T-J who grilled the steaks that did a fantastic job. The last couple of times I have been in he has not been there. Maybe he left. For the most part their desserts are excellent. Sadly they keep some stupid options on the menu like Crème Brulee that is just plain boring and unimaginative. If you want great food at a good price, don't stop here. If you want overpriced mediocre food then this is the place for you. read more

I ate here last week, on a clear summer night. The elegant but unpretentious restaurant was uncrowded at 6 pm, and we were taken care of promptly. The view out the enormous window is amazing: Padilla Bay, Mount Baker, Chuckanut Mountains, and no highway in sight. I had the salmon and my friend had the New York steak. We ordered both rare, and both were a wee bit more cooked than rare, but still wonderful. The Dungeness crab appetizer was beautiful and very good. The prices are very reasonable for the elegant setting and artistic presentation. As John C said, the salad was a bit of a challenge, but we found it entertaining. Seating outdoors is available, and on a warm night, it would be spectacular. Overall, I was totally impressed, and consider this one of the top three restaurants in Skagit County. I see the reviews on Yelp are all over the map, but our experience was excellent. It's a casino, so I guess you take your chances. read more

You access 13 moons by journeying up a set of stairs, which end at the top directly to the restaurant host stand. Once you round the corner behind the host, you a greeted by a beautiful view! It has a simple romantic feel, perfect for a nice date night. We ordered the crab cakes to start; they were great, not too crabby! We ordered various cocktails while waiting for dinner, all done well. For dinner, I ordered the Kobe burger (I'm still on a quest to find the best burger in the PNW) and my partner ordered the special. The Kobe burger was on a lovely brioche bun and included bacon and gouda... should be the makings of a flavorful bite! But, I was let down. The meat was dry, the cheese was practically non-existent and the bacon wasn't able to compensate for the overall blah. The side of finely cut fries were good, and the presentation was beautiful. If you visit, I'd advise against the burger (you can get a better one at the Fatburger in the food court), but its worth a visit for the romantic view alone! read more

If you go through the hotel entrance instead of the casino entrance you can avoid most of the cigarette smoke of the casino if that bothers you. The restaurant has no cigarette smoke or smell at all. Great restaurant!! Lovely atmosphere, I'm guessing it's probably the nicest restaurant in the area. I'm from Houston, where we have some of the most well renowned steakhouses. I've eaten at most of them, and when I ordered the filet here at 13Moons I was not expecting it to be to that caliber, but it was. We took advantage of their $24.95 3-course dinner tonight. We have never been to this establishment before. Great view, clean, wonderful waitstaff Nicole kept it all pleasant and friendly, serving was very nicely presented as well as being a very tasty flat iron steak!! Our only sadness was in the desert..... Crime brûlée looked and tasted like runny yogurt. My husbands choc lava cake looked like a mud puddle with Hershey's poured on top. Neither desert fit their titles, very disappointing. If it hadn't been for the desert I'd have rated it a 5! Wines a little pricey for our area and their quality offerings. read more

13 Moons is a beautiful setting for dining with both indoor and outdoor seating. Dinner was expensive but excellent (I had the crab crusted halibut). However, imho, the service left something to be desired. Due to covid protocols, masks are worn by service personnel and I had a very difficult time hearing and understanding them. We were referred to a number of times as 'you guys' and while I am all for being chummy, my wife and I did not go to high school with any of the employees (nor did our kids) and didn't really feel like one of the guys. My understanding of fine dining etiquette includes the proviso that you do not remove a dinner plate from the table until all diners are finished--especially if it is just a couple. Mine was whisked off practically before I knew it while my wife's remained. My knife was removed along with the appetizer/salad plate with the promise of a new one with the entre--unfortunately it didn't show up until halfway thru dinner after asking twice. This is such a beautiful restaurant and the food preparation really was outstanding but I would expect better service especially for the price. read more

Chef Dan is absolutely AMAZING! He only cooks with the freshest ingredients. His culinary genius mind blows my palate away every time! They have a happy hour to please everyone! Small plates are "not so small" :) you really get your money's worth here! So the crab cakes are probably the best I've ever had... which is saying a lot! And their truffle fries are IT of control! Yummy! I try to get a few things with friends and we all share! Don't get me wrong, I do come for a nice sit down dinner, and usually get the fresh wild salmon or steamer clams! Also, the outdoor dining has the best view around! Funny, but for our area, we literally have three places to dine by the water. 13 Moons takes the cake on this one! Also, the casino gets really cool bands! So hit up the restaurant and catch a good show! I don't gamble, but their winner BOARD looks pretty promising too! I went to enjoy a drink with friends in the bar section of 13 Moons. When you walk in the door, you are hit with a wall of cigarette smoke. I knew the casino is a smoking venue, but I didn't expect there to be no closing doors between it and the restaurant. The smoke from the casino wafts upstairs to the restaurant, and I can only assume the guest hotel rooms smell equally as bad. For this reason alone, this place is a non-starter for me, and my friends. My drink was good, I had the cucumber-lime mojito. read more

Came in a few days ago expecting it to not be so busy because it was a week day. They were actually very full, so my group decided to sit in the bar area. The bar was full too but we were lucky enough to get a spot. My group ordered the scallops which were cooked to perfection with the most flavorful amazing sauce. The crab cakes were so delicious without tasting too crabby. We also ordered salads, which were the perfect size. They were beautifully presented on chilled plates. At first I wasn't all that impressed with the service. The host was OK, but obviously not the best. Maybe she was new. It took a long time for the bartender (Holly, I believe) to get to us. We decided to be patient because we understood it was busy. We were just a couple minutes away from leaving but then our angel in the bar came and saved the day. I asked for her name and I believe it was Hannah. She's young so I was worried about her taking our drink orders. She knew all of the beers on tap and everything served by the bottle and she recommended an amazing white wine for one of my guests. She was extremely friendly, provided fast service, checked on us without being intruding, and made all of us laugh. I will absolutely be returning again soon thanks to hanah and the amazing food. Maybe it was just an off day for the rest of the staff, but I look forward to seeing hannahs beautiful face and lovely smile again soon. read more

Dinner for four with a view was a recent summer evening. It began with Steamed Mussels, White Truffle Sea Scallops and Dungeness Crab Cakes. All were excellent. Entrees were the scallop appetizer upsized to dinner size, Pacific Halibut, Wild Chinook Salmon and the Marsala Mushroom Pork Chop. The halibut was to my wife's liking and the scallops were just as good as the appetizer earlier enjoyed. The pork chop was juicy and tasty. My only (minor) complaint follows: our server asked how I wanted my salmon cooked and I told her, "Just as close to raw as the chef feels comfortable." I hate it when the fish is cooked dry. When the order came the salmon was just about medium rare, but it was juicy and tasty so I just noted to myself, "Be more specific with your requests." For desert two at our table shared the Macchiato Crème Brule. It was wonderful and a bargain at $7. read more

My wife and I showed up at 6pm for a kid free date night. The restaurant was 90% empty (a few people there for happy hour by the bar). The hostess informed us that the we could not done there because we didn't have a reservation. I asked if I could make one, she said there were no open tables until 7:30. The restaurant dining area was 100% empty! My wife and I decided to leave after trying to get a table. When I checked opentable.com any time I wanted was available. Our intent was to have drinks and apps outside on the patio and when we asked she cut us off and said that "we don't do outside dining until June" which is fine but perhaps you should allow me Tim finish my question. Then without a prompt she tersely informs us that she "can't" seat us anywhere in the restaurant because of a huge group. All of this is totally understandable, however her delivery and "I don't care" demeanor is what will never bring me back. I came in here last night for the first time yesterday (8/15). I had such a great experience that I made a yelp account to write a review. First, I came in and the host was so very sweet. (believe her name was hannah but said differently) She was talkative and when I told her this was our first time in, she welcomed me and my wife and answered all the questions she had. She took us to the balcony and we had such a beautiful spot with an amazing view. She helped us pick a spot that would work for us (wife wanted sun, I wanted shade). After we put our order in, our food was absolutely amazing. This place is spendy, but worth it. I saw earlier reviews complaining about the food or service but in my opinion the service was great. My server was attentive and very nice. And the food was perfect. I will be coming back and I hope to see the same host there, as we left she was very nice and chatted with us for a minute. She told us to have a goodnight and she hopes to see us again. She also complimented my wife, which made her day. I saw there was another host there and asked if she was training, she said yes, hopefully she picks up the same good attitude. I've been to places with a rude host and it really makes your experience either bad or good. Will be back soon and recommending to others. Only complaint would be that I could smell cigarettes when I was walking through the restaurant to the restroom, but it is a casino. read more

Eaten there a few times. I don't go for the buffet specials. Too long a wait. Waitstaff has always been attentive once seated. We actually had a very small group for Thanksgiving and had dinner with them. We made reservations. It was very good. Nice variety of choices. Quality of food was very good. Everyone was pleased.
