Went here with friends on a Sunday for brunch and it exceeded my expectations! Had about 3 pitchers of mimosas, each one absolutely delicious! I recommend the prickly pear mimosa or the classic mango mimosa! Service was great and even though we were seated outside on a chilly morning the heater was more than enough! Used to like this place fairly ok until last time when I got a salmon spinach salad. Salmon was ok, but the spinach had weird little spots, not fresh. I was with a client so I didn't want to make a fuss, so I ate most of it. Previously when I ate there, they would bring a basket of bread. Nope, not this time. We asked for it, and waitress offered toast. No thanks! I'd like to propose a toast: to The Kitchen at 150 Sunset (you guys couldn't come up with a more exciting name? oh well, whatever). Here's to you being awesome. How awesome, you say? Well.. I honestly don't mind the location, despite the fact that I practically have to take two connecting flights from my house on the east side just to get here. Despite the Pilgrimage, they managed to snag themselves a nice little cozy, easy to access corner spot. I decided to toast off this long awaited visit to the west side brunch kitchen with a glass of Mimosa. Although, I confess I did not get a second glass and eventually transitioned over to my classic fallback [coffee] because the Mimosa was actually less citrus-y than I expected. I expected it to taste more like the ones I thoroughly enjoyed back at the Brunch Club. Ah well. A minor let down, but not enough to spoil my breakfast. Oh, the coffee was exquisite, btw. My breakfast was pretty standard. Decided to play it safe with their house breakfast. Of course, since I find sausage absolutely revolting, I replaced that mess with crispy bacon. And although the bacon itself was probably thick enough to patch a hole in one of my son's bike tires, they at least actually tasted like bacon and were fully cooked. The eggs were damn near perfect, the hash browns were fine, although slightly greasy. And the toast...I...I don't get what the obsession is with multi-grain toast, but I don't much care for it personally. The decorum is classic, yet contemporary. Though I must confess, their service got off to kind of a slow start. The best way I can describe Kitchen @ 150 is, like...when Crave Kitchen meets Cracker Barrel. I'd certainly return, provided I were close enough or felt like going on a fantastic voyage from my house. Besides, I already know what I'd like to try next. Went to this establishment after a 12 mile hike with some friends. We were seated immediately, but was lucky to do so because the previous Saturday was super packed. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and ceviche. They were very delicious. I was surprised with the ceviche. I thought they would skimp with the fish, but there were plenty of big chunks. The bloody Mary was pretty good too. Our waitress was awesome and quick. The General Manager/ Executive Chef also greeted us as well. He was nice and had a warm personality. Omg!! Omg!!! Never in my life have I cared about French toast, but this place has some French toast that is worth the 37 minute drive for!! The mimosas are awesome! The pancakes and the break fast tacos are winners as well!! The scenery can I get an amen for trees and greenery in EP!!! Disappointed. We walked into 150 sunset after my sister's engagement to enjoy a nice brunch with the family. While food is decent there is a lack of general management. The manager who was also the host could have not been any less friendly and accommodating. Hopefully the owners of this place do something about management because in terms of food it does have potential to be a nice experience. Best French toast in town no doubt. It's not always consistent though... Sometimes it's soft and moist as i like it, but sometimes it tasted like it haven't been soaked in the egg custard long enough. Weekend morning can get VERY busy. Come early! read more

I come here every Sunday to eat breakfast. I was turned away this morning because I didn't have reservations. The park lot was empty and there were tables obviously available. I would consider myself and my families regulars here. It will be a long time before I eat at this establishment again. It's sad when the manager tells you they can't accommodate your family to eat breakfast. I give them a 0 for poor customer service. I like the atmosphere and rarely eat the food here. I ordered Avocado Toast and it was delicious. Mashed avocado, Aleppo pepper, egg, bacon and pea sprouts served on sour dough bread. This was served with a small side salad of mixed greens. My daughter ordered the Shaved rib eye. It had horseradish, black pepper honey aioli, caramelized onion & mushrooms compote, Swiss cheese and black truffle essence, served on a French Demi baguette. She raved about the sandwich. I tasted her sandwich and even with all those ingredients it really worked. We were seated immediately. Our server was quick to introduce herself and was very attentive. The local cold brew coffee was excellent and of course our waiter Mario was amazing. If you've never tried this restaurant it is a definite yes! You wont be disappointed. I never have. Was looking for a local restaurant to eat at on our way home to California. So I looked on the Yelp and found this place. 150 Sunset. Though our trip to Waco, we tried a succeed to eat at local restaurants to help out, no big chain restaurant. As we drove in, was not sure if this was the place, but if you follow to social distanceing sticker on the ground it leads to it. I'm always cautious when your are the only person the the place, but from the get go the staff were very friendly and are following all the covid practices for a good establishments. Our waiter was great the food was excellent. I got the Avacado toast and could not stop eating it. My wife had the French toast and she said it was the best she'd ever had. I loved this place for breakfast. Went on a little date with my 2 year old and had the turkey omelet (spicy!), espresso, and kids French toast. Our food was delicious and fresh. We were looking for a new brunch spot and found the kitchen. I really liked the fact you can add yourself to waitlist prior to arrival. When we arrived we were seated about 15 minutes after arrival. We ordered prickly pear mimosas to start. They were good, however a little to sweet for my taste (like a jolly rancher). Quality and service has gone downhill at 150. It was my favorite spot when I was in El Paso. I have seen it grow over the past few years, but this last visit was so disappointing. I brought a group of out of town friends to enjoy some food, but I ended up apologizing at the end. The service was subpar. The food was changed. The breakfast tacos had changed (not for the best) and other food items we were told didn't come with this or that. Even the Challah French Toast was sloppily done. Extremely disappointed. Not sure what changed at the top (owners, management, etc), but this is not the Sunset 150 that I've enjoyed and recommended over the years. read more

Holy huevos rancheros! So, typically I don't order huevos rancheros because they have all been mediocre these past few years. Anyway, my brother recommend them so I ordered them. They were SO good. Very savory and creamy. There dishes were good too. Service was prompt, but you can't get a drink without a meal before noon on a Sunday. Linda defeats a brunch Mimosa or bloody Mary. Oh well, that's not the restaurant's fault. They had great indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is a little tough, but all in all I'll be back when I come to visit! read more
