    Beef Noodle Soup
    Rebecca W.

My friend and I wandered in here after a screening at the theater, and decided to have some early dinner! I ordered the beef noodle soup, and the beef rolls to take back. The beef noodle soup was tasty; it satisfied my craving but definitely not the best one I've had. The beef wasn't the softest, and the noodles were soft. But still, it's hard to mess up soup and I still enjoyed it! The beef roll was really good but I was surprised at how small it was! This place is located in the Atlantic Square so there is a giant free parking plaza below. Service was fine, we came here at like 4pm on a Sunday so it wasn't busy at all. The interior is clean and simple, and I do like that they keep their door open so that it doesn't feel stuffy.

We were doing an event at the theatre, so needed to find a fast spot for dinner and decided to try here. Pleasant surprise! The menu had enough items for everyone to pick something, and the food was tastier than expected. We were seated and then someone stopped by to take our order, but because of limited staffing, it was a tad slower than we expected. The veggie roll was good and the beef fried noodles were better than they looked; the sliced marinated beef threw me off, but they were surprisingly tender and the overall dish was much better than I was expecting. Ambiance is just your normal fast casual spot, but was clean. Plenty of parking downstairs!

Great spot for noodles! They are Lanzhou style with 7 different varieties to choose from! This restaurant is located in Atlantic Times Square. There is underground parking that can be accessed on Atlantic or Hellman. If entering from Atlantic, take the upstairs ramp. The restaurant is very close to AMC. (You can park downstairs, but you will need to find the stairs to walk up.) I do like the N2 braised beef noodle soup, N5 lamb noodle soup, and N4 spicy beef noodle soup. I love the flat noodles! I tried the beef rolls $12.99, but it's such a small portion. The ones at 101 Noodle Express are better (and they have a good green sauce too). Service is good. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom is available in the back.

Ambiance: it's a noodle place at the Atlantic Times Square plaza in Monterey park, conveniently located close to freeway with large shared underground parking lot Service: very friendly and fast, served the noodle adequately after placing three order Food: variety choices of noodles, seven types to choose from House Special Beef Noodle Soup - **** medium spicy level and chewy thin noodles, tasty good with vinegar Price: generous portions and affordable prices, about $20 per person

This place wasn't too busy when we went, though it seemed like the whole mall was pretty empty lately. The server only spoke chinese. The place was clean and decent amount of seating. Food came out super fast and very flavorful! I got the fried bean sauce with ground pork noodles and loved it. My bf got the stir fried beef with tomato noodles and was very pleased. The cucumber salad was decent though needed more garlic. All very well priced.

I was in the area and was in the mood for noodles and decided to drop by and try their noodles. I picked the Chef's Special Spicy Beef Noodles and was very pleased. Its delicious! The spicy level is perfect, broth on point and the beef was delicious too. I wish they turned the AC on but whatever, the food was great. I'll still return. I want to try some more dishes. The Braised Baby Rib looks good and I think I want to have that next time.

Best beef noodles soup in town. The n4 it's the chefs special and it's apparently flavorful rich in broth and delicious, has a little, actually a strong kick to it. Pretty dang spicy but it's a great comfort food.

i ordered the house special beef soup, service was really quick & efficient! all our meals came out within 5 mins of ordering. a little restaurant in the plaza. i got the spicy version & thin noodles! i loved the texture of the noodles, it was perfectly bouncy. i feel that they couldve added more meat to the dish overall since the noodle to meat ratio was large. flavoring was yummy tho & soup was hearty overall. side note: the water they served tasted like tap so i didnt really want to satiate my thirst with it.

solid 3.5 stars. food: pretty good! however, in all of the dishes my family ordered, it lacked protein/meat. my favorite was the fried noodle with beef. service: super quick! and there was a LOT of noodle ambiance: a homey authentic vibe to it!

I went again. Tonight, the broth is good. I finished the whole bowl. I will go back again.

I really like 1919 Noodle Express in Atlantic Times Square in Monterey Park, CA. I had a movie to catch at 8:15 p.m., so my friend and I decided to give this place a try since the Hong Kong Cafe had a bit of a waitlist and line. We ordered the panfried green onion pancake, which was one of the best pancakes I've ever had, LOL! We also ordered the beef roll wrap, which was good, not bad. Then we ordered the BiangBiang Noodle with the Chili Oil Topping, and it was really good, too. Overall, I was very happy with the food and service. I really like the food; I recommend this place!

5/5 -- Authentic comfort in a bowl I ordered the braised beef noodle soup from 1919 Noodles, and it completely hit the spot. The broth was rich and deeply flavorful -- you can tell it's been simmered for hours, packed with layers of beef, soy, and aromatic spices. The noodles had that perfect chewy bite, soaking up just enough of the broth without getting soggy. The beef itself was incredibly tender -- melt-in-your-mouth texture with that slight gelatinous richness from the brisket cuts. Every bite had this comforting, home-cooked feel, yet it tasted like something you'd get at a top-tier noodle house in Taipei. Portion size was generous, presentation was clean, and the pickled mustard greens on top added just the right amount of tang to balance the savory broth. If you're into authentic Taiwanese-style noodles or just craving something cozy and satisfying, this dish is an easy 10/10.

I had a weekend dinner at Tsujita LA Artisan Noodle with our group of four back in March 2025. The…read moreother two ordered tsukemen ($26.50 for the spicy deluxe and $23.50 for the spicy chasu) and found it very salty because they chose to consume it not by dipping the noodles in the bowl of broth, but rather by pouring all the broth from the bowl into the noodles, trying to recreate a normal bowl of ramen. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

This location has rebranded to Tsuke Artisan Noodles, but at the end of the day, I can never…read moreforgive them and I can never forget what they took from me, aka Killer Noodle. I know they owned Killer Noodle and brought it back for a day or so during some weeks, but still. I feel like I can partly blame those who can't handle spice, numbing or not, and or people with generally normie tastes. Anyways, enough of that diatribe. Parking can get horrible and fisted here, even though there's parking in the pit. The best bet is to just park at the 99 Ranch Market across the street and walk over. This restaurant also gets super busy too and there's limited tables and seating inside for how popular it is. They did collabs too, like the Naruto one. There were instructions on how to properly eat tsukemen and staff was friendly and polite too. I know they tried to make the ambiance a bit nicer and fancier, but with the constant slew of customers and people, you can only do so much. Since it's a tsukemen restaurant, I always just got tsukemen here. I'd get the spicy chashu tsukemen. Comes with a generous portion of chashu pork and is made with their homemade spices. It also comes with a soft boiled egg, a slice of lime to squeeze in for taste, green onions and a sheet nori. After dipping the noodles, you can ask for soup wari to eat the rest of the broth in. It's a delicious and hefty portion and sorta justifies the $30 for a bowl of tsukemen thing. Flavorful broth with a depth of delicious spices. Nice thick noodles that absorb the broth nicely. I like that you get a good amount of chashu. Adding the lime makes the noodles a bit more refreshing if you get a bit tired of the taste. Spicy doesn't make it spicy at all, but at the very least gave a bit of heat to it. There's other Tsujitas out there, just now a bit farther.
