3/13/26 Surprisingly very good!! A little bit hole in the wall in a nondescript plaza amongst other businesses, this ramen shop serves delicious food, friendly service & clean, cute ambiance. You order at the counter then food is brought out to your table. They have take out as well. Parking is limited in a lot that has seen better days. I almost tripped over so many cracks & pot holes, watch out! It is a small shop, which can possibly see less than 20 people. There are tables and chairs and counter seating that faces the street.. Hubby ordered the spicy miso ramen & spicy tuna roll while I got the tonkutsu ramen and baked salmon roll. It was ready in minutes. Everything was so flavorful & delicious. Hubby said (he's not easily impressed) that "it's the best tasting ramen I've ever had " Both sushi rolls were so good!! I like that there's not too much rice to fish ratio was to my liking. (Not stuffed with lots of rice). It was very soft and it came with pickled ginger & wasabi, of course. Our ramen bowls were a very good portion. I ended up taking left overs home for two more meals! The noodles were al dente & thick. The broth was rich & Hubby's had a great spice level. Although it was not a table service type of place, De Laney came by several times to ensure that everything was to our liking and that we had what we needed. Will surely return!

I visited Nakazo for their Las Carnitas ramen. While it's in a small plaza, finding parking wasn't too difficult. The entrance / window door is lightly covered with a noren which looked out of place but felt very right in where it was located (function over form). My friends and I were greeted upon entering, and ordering is "at the counter" - which we later learned. Seating is easy to find, but note that it is quite cramped inside if it gets busy. The Las Carnitas ramen hit like fusion to me, and it was impressive in blending flavors of las carnitas and what I expected of a tasty bowl of ramen. The noodles were a great texture, and the meat was well flavored. The broth was also the right thickness and had that lightly fatty flavor. There were small bits of jalapenos which added a bit of a kick, and it was more noticeable towards the end. Whether it was the sour Admittedly, the hardest part of the visit was probably getting out of the parking lot, since it's such a sharp turn out towards the freeway.

Great hole in the wall if you want to just come by for no fuss ramen. Parking lot, available. You pay first at the counter and they bring your ramen to you. La carnitas ramen: Beefy creamy broth, great take on Mexican fusion ramen. A bit spicy compared to the spicy miso ramen, there is a slight kick if you are spicy tolerant. Spicy miso ramen: Creamy miso broth, rich and filling. Ramen noodles are bouncy and there was a good amount of toppings.

Incredibly underrated ramen spot. I came here twice and both times, the food exceeded my expectations. The absolute must try is their Las Carnitas ramen, which has strong flavors of Mexican cuisine: onions, radish, carnitas, cilantro, lime. You'd be surprised how well the two distinct cuisines mesh together. The ramen's texture is perfectly cooked al dente, and the creamy broth with Mexican flavors is just so good! The carnitas is perfectly charred and goes really well with the broth. The karage is pretty good too, but the real star is the carnitas ramen. Service is fast-food style where you walk up to the counter and order/pay. Staff is very nice, and I really do hope this place stays in business (not that they don't have business) but I think it's in a challenging area. Not exactly in the best neighborhood. The past two times I've been, they had a decent amount of customers come through. Seating is self seating (fast food style) but they do clean up after you are done. The restaurant is in a shared plaza on the corner with michocan, Monty's, papa John's, smoke shop, and 7-11. Parking is shared with the rest of the plaza, and you can typically find a spot. Always hits the spot on a rainy cold day. I will 100% be back for the carnitas ramen.

The restaurant is small and will not seat more that 6 together. The pork bowl and karage are excellent. The ramen is good but the portion should have 3 pieces of pork. The carnitas ramen is interesting and I would recommend that you try it.. Bathroom was clean and the services are average .

With all this cold/wet/chilly weather, happy to come back and enjoy some delicious Ramen. I ordered the Kid's Ramen, the bowl, surprisingly, seemed to be just as big as their regular ramen. I ordered the small Spicy Tuna Poké Bowl, that was delicious! Hubby tried the spicy miso, he liked it, to me, it was okay. Loved the lychee lemonade, wasn't too sweet. Thanks Mia for the conversation and making our dining experience great! Restaurant is located in a small shopping center which, lately, seems to be very busy.

The broth was soooo good. It was filling without feeling overly full. I had the las carnitas ramen and is now my favorite. The spicy miso ramen is also really good. The chicken was so flavorful. The carnitas still had a bit of crunch to them. And then we had the lychee lemonade. The staff was so nice too. It's this cute little ramen shop that makes you feel welcome

    Las Carnitas Ramen was delicious

Such a unique Mexican ramen fusion spot! Parking can be difficult since the parking lot isn't too big and it's shared with other businesses Service was ok, nothing too special. You order at the counter and given a #, which you take to any table. Seating was very limited since it's pretty small inside.. Got the Las Carnitas Ramen ($16) and the pork chili broth was very flavorful and not too spicy. The carnitas were very tender and delicious. The noodles were very chewy and yummy! I would say it's 9/10 Other than ramen, there's a variety of rice bowls and sushi rolls ($6-8). Would recommend and return

Spicy Tuna roll here is yum!

SPICY TUNA & RICE BOWLS Just sharing they have bomb rice bowls here too! I get the pork belly which is sweet, slightly crispy and thick with meat. It's very filling! Spicy tuna rolls are also a fav of mine as a side dish. It's fresh and they don't skimp on the tuna! Go to ramen is still the Carnitas ramen!

This little hidden gem. Sits in the corner of strip mall with a 7-11 and a Papa John's . It's visible from the 10 fwy and surrounded by busyness. Yet when you walk in, you experience a warm cozy vibe. Food - always yummy. Tonkatsu ramen, Spicey sesame Ramen. My favorite. Definitely will continue to come to this restaurant. Service is fast and friendly.

Love having an amazing Ramen spot in Alhambra. Love stopping by here for lunch to get a pork Chashu bowl and some spam musubi. Recommend calling in before picking up your order. They do get busy. Workers are always super kind and attentive. The Ramen is always solid. The noodles are perfectly cooked and the poke is always a nice addition. Glad they have it.

Been here two times before and it was delicious. Service was nice and quiet place to stop by when I was around. Would definitely go back sometime in the future.

I had a weekend dinner at Tsujita LA Artisan Noodle with our group of four back in March 2025. The…read moreother two ordered tsukemen ($26.50 for the spicy deluxe and $23.50 for the spicy chasu) and found it very salty because they chose to consume it not by dipping the noodles in the bowl of broth, but rather by pouring all the broth from the bowl into the noodles, trying to recreate a normal bowl of ramen. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

I know they owned Killer Noodle and brought it back for a day or so during some weeks, but still. I feel like I can partly blame those who can't handle spice, numbing or not, and or people with generally normie tastes. Anyways, enough of that diatribe. Parking can get horrible and fisted here, even though there's parking in the pit. The best bet is to just park at the 99 Ranch Market across the street and walk over. This restaurant also gets super busy too and there's limited tables and seating inside for how popular it is. They did collabs too, like the Naruto one. There were instructions on how to properly eat tsukemen and staff was friendly and polite too. I know they tried to make the ambiance a bit nicer and fancier, but with the constant slew of customers and people, you can only do so much. Since it's a tsukemen restaurant, I always just got tsukemen here. I'd get the spicy chashu tsukemen. Comes with a generous portion of chashu pork and is made with their homemade spices. It also comes with a soft boiled egg, a slice of lime to squeeze in for taste, green onions and a sheet nori. After dipping the noodles, you can ask for soup wari to eat the rest of the broth in. It's a delicious and hefty portion and sorta justifies the $30 for a bowl of tsukemen thing. Flavorful broth with a depth of delicious spices. Nice thick noodles that absorb the broth nicely. I like that you get a good amount of chashu. Adding the lime makes the noodles a bit more refreshing if you get a bit tired of the taste. Spicy doesn't make it spicy at all, but at the very least gave a bit of heat to it. There's other Tsujitas out there, just now a bit farther.

Setting: Small Authentic Japanese restaurant located on Main St. Wait Time: I was seated immediately as a party of 1. I think I ordered and got my first dish served all within 10 minutes of sitting down. Food/Drink: I made it a "ramen set" so I could add on fried calamari. SO much food at a very reasonable price. - Spicy Miso Ramen (~$16): I chose popcorn chicken for my protein and asked for medium spice (3 options). The broth was rich and had a nice kick without being painful. The thin noodles were plentiful and cooked just right. - Popcorn Chicken (protein choice from ramen): MASSIVE pile of lightly battered juicy and thick chicken pieces. - Fried Calamari (+$3.50): These were cooked to perfection. The batter was light and crispy and the calamari had texture but was still easy to chew. Service: Great. The waitress was kind, food came out quick, and she even packaged up my leftover popcorn chicken! 3% charge for cards which was fine. Parking: There's a parking lot behind the restaurant, but it's kind of small. There's plenty of free street parking, structures, and some open air lots around. I parked on 5th St. Next Time: I'll switch it up and try their Unadon or any of the udon bowls next time.
