I was honestly surprised by how affordable their prices are--probably because it's right across from a college. We ordered the Chicken and Broccoli with rice ($11.50), Banh Mi with sautéed beef ($9.75), and Street Noodles with BBQ pork ($10.95). For the price, this place is definitely worth checking out, especially compared to how expensive food has gotten elsewhere. We really enjoyed everything except the street noodles, which had a strong anise flavor that wasn't quite to our taste. But overall, the food was fresh, flavorful and had a big serving. This gem sits right across from North Park Univ. and as you walk in you see the space is big. There are nice wooden tables and a great fast casual dining area. 2 Asian Brothers is a solid restaurant that has become our go-to within a list of our favorite take outs. I've tried many of their dishes and they have all been consistently good. Of course we have our go-to's but we take out here often, so we like to branch off other dishes at times. The drinks are also a hit, they have a great variety of smoothies and fruit teas as well as toppings to choose from. I love there are more choices for toppings like the lychee or mango popping boba or jellies besides your regular tapioca based. For the dishes, our frequent and recommended orders include Jalapeno or regular Crab Rangoon for appetizers, BBQ Pork & Lemon Grass Chicken Bahn Mi sandwiches, combo street noodles, and the shredded chicken pho. The service is fast whenever we place an order, it's usually ready in less than 20 minutes and the staff is always friendly. They are located right across the street from North Park University and they do get quite busy with orders but they are still fast and reliant with their service. The ambiance of the restaurant is spacious and have plenty of tables to dine-in though most orders are takeout. The prices at 2 Asian Brothers are very reasonable, at least for Chicago restaurant prices. The Chicken Pho and Bahn Mi sandwiches are under $10 which is unheard of nowadays. I'll be honest I wasn't a big fan of the noodle salad because I typically like grilled meat but they didn't have that type of meat. Their spring rolls are legit. I'll be back for lunch breaks. Note: This review was made during the covid pandemic, but regardless of the current inside, this place is awesome! Parking: Unfortunately, there is no parking lot within this business. However, street parking is not difficult to find. There is paid street parking right in front, but if you are looking for free spots, do not worry! First off I gotta say, my hats off to these two guys for putting their business out there, for wearing their Christianity on their sleeve and leaving it up to you to decide whether or not you want to try it out. I like the descriptive boards which indicate to us how the brothers came together, how they got their vision and the idea to go into business together. Being their location (North Park University campus), on some days, it feels like I've run into groups of bible study partners on a dinner outing. =) For the sake of commentary. Just like anyone else that's in business, they have a right to advertise who they are and if you don't like it, you have the freedom to eat elsewhere. I don't mean for that to sound like a harsh defense for them but they indicate their background to you in a polite manner. Recently I had a meal at a restaurant that's got a wall size portrait saying that their God is the only God which deserves respect, because all others Gods are nothing. Talk about some bold speech. It's very ironic that this place is next to a Jimmy John's. Here's a rule of being a Chicago foodie: when you see a commercial, national-chain restaurant, look around its proximity, and you will find something else...better! It's a spacious, bright venue where many North Park University students are hanging out (I see lots of students flux into the door, and I followed right behind them). I stopped by here to pick up some food for my dinner break at work since I dislike any of the choices at the Fashion Outlets in Rosemont. I ordered the noodle salad with shrimp ($7), and the food was ready within ten (10) minutes. I didn't consume it immediately, but it tasted just as delicious after three (3) hours of the time span leaving in the room temperature. They had an ample amount of veggies, shrimps, and two (2) egg rolls that were done in Vietnamese style. I liked that the sriracha sauce, Vietnamese vinegar, and the peanuts were in separated containers and placed on the side, so I could carry the entire meal on the bus without any sorts of leakage. Otherwise, it would have been a disaster! If you're a North Park University student, there's a Sunday meal special after 4pm. I'm too old to be back to college. That's for sure. I will certainly come back for other items on the menu. I like this place because it's located on Foster Ave., making it accessible to the CTA 92 bus. The employee there today (short man with glasses) had the audacity to unlock the door, open the door and tell that I am being rude waiting outside.
