I have used 211 plumbing and drains on two occasions. Once for cleaning out the main sewer line using chain flail and another for an emergency sewer back up. Both times, Alex answered my questions and were able to resolve the issue quickly. On the sewer back up, alex introduced me to a remediation company that was very responsible and acted quickly (same day). It is clear from the reviews that 211 Drains does a lot of indoor plumbing, and does it well. I am here to tell you they took on a massive outdoor drainage job for us and did a great job also. We had multiple companies come out and bid the job, and the numbers were all over the place. The bid from 211 was the only one that seemed to be in the ballpark of what a job of this size should cost. The job was detailed out in the estimate. That is very helpful for a homeowner who doesn't necessarily understand all the technicalities of the work taking place. It is great to print for your records, should you sell your home, you have a detailed outline of the work performed. Also, you are able to see exactly what you are paying for! The way our house is graded, the water all flows down towards the house, which also did not have proper drainage from the roof. This was causing water to pull up through the concrete in the outer edge areas of the house (kitchen mostly). This job involved installing channel drains, saw cutting concrete to connect gutter drains to the new channel drains and backfilling. They also needed to do additional work on the fly when more problems were discovered while working. They took the time to physically walk us through and show us the damage the roots had caused and how the outflow pipe was not originally installed right, so once again, we understood what repairs we were paying for. The guys were great they gave me a quote over Yelp which turned out to be very accurate after taking into account the two new cartridges that I needed for both of my bathrooms. The faucet was leaking in the tub and it turned out to be the price Pfister cartridge that needed to be replaced. They came on time and called me before they left and when they didn't have the part when they arrived they still manage to go get the part and get it done within two hours. 211 Drains and Pipelining provided us with "water heater" replacement service. The quote they provided was reasonable. They responded promptly (till they got money) and finished the job well.. As a part of the job, they also guaranteed state-inspection and 3 yr service guarantee.. Our problem started with these two issues. Once they got the money, they did not respond in time to my call or request. State inspection: They forgot about it and kept giving some excuse or the other. Work Quality: After few months of service, we started having problems with our HVAC. It turns out HVAC was shutting-off due to incorrect work performed by the 211-Drains and Piping. When I called, Alex promised me he will send someone soon, but that turn out to be empty promise. This company is not reliable. They don't have any after service support; they just do empty promises. I am planning to complain this business to BBB and california contractor licensing anyways. I have all the receipt, phone call details, messaging etc.. to share. Please stay away from these folks. Alex and his crew are absolutely fantastic and finish the job when they say. We had a horrible leak only last week, water in the bathroom, soaked carpets... I called Rooter Hero who would not give an estimate over the phone for a new garbage disposal install. Instead they said they offer free estimates on site. They came and quoted $585 for a garbage disposal and said that's the going rate. Well, I manage all of our rentals and have replaced many garbage disposals. I called 211 Drains and Alex quoted me $235. Alex came and did the job as quoted. He called my tenants on the way as I asked him and followed up with photos.
