In general the food was pretty good but the service was abysmal. My boyfriend's burger was cooked well done when asked for medium rare, it got sent back and they made another burger. That burger was still well done. At this point, we just accepted the burger (because it took a while for the new burger and everyone was almost finished with their meal) and the manager(?) gave us a card for us to come in for a free burger the next time. The restaurant, at the time, was not busy so it was kind of hard to understand why the burger got cooked wrong twice. Other friends who ordered the burger got their medium rare, very confusing. We had a bigger party and was told that separate checks would not be available, which was fine but the waiter did say we could figure out individual prices and pay separately. So at the end of the dinner we figured out what people needed to pay and was going to go up to pay but the waiter got freaked out and asked us why we were getting up. Our party was very confused and tried to explain that it would be easier if we just went up and showed him who is paying what. He then asked us if we were from Canada and seemed very offended with how we were trying to pay and was pretty rude to us. Bizzare situation. In the end, we just paid with one card and left. This place is awesome. It's been open only a week and it's already my favorite restaurant in belltown. My wife and I did an ensemble of small plates: grilled octopus, lamb tartar, barcacao, and padron peppers. All of them were innovative and delicious. Although we normally share a single dessert, we went with two since we couldn't make up our minds. The habanero Ice cream was fantastic. The horchata panna Cotta was also packed with flavor, but a little heavy on the gelatin. We'll definitely be back here often. Being next to the Amazon Spheres, you almost miss this restaurant. Trying something new, the shorter menu here was intriguing. I sat in the bar, everything is by reservation, and this restaurant is busy. The noise level was pretty high, carrying across the entire restaurant, at times I had a hard time hearing my friend I came with. I started with the "punch" (a blueberry purée sangria) and a half dozen oysters. The Washington oysters with apple mignonette and micro greens was the star of the small plates, they were fresh overall all delightful. I was able to sample the braised oxtail pappardelle, the dish was perfectly balanced in a brown butter sauce. I also tried the Penn Cove mussels in a pumpkin-curry sauce. It's Seattle Restaurant Week 2018. The gang let me pick and I chose 2120. For SRW, 2120 requires that either everybody participates or nobody participates. Wasn't too thrilled about this rule since I usually like to partner up with somebody and then we split a SRW meal + one regular entree. I usually don't feel like the dessert is worth it. Anyhoo, since it was all or nothing, might as well get SRW 3-for-$33. Started off with pork belly. Cuz pork belly. It was surprisingly dry. The cook was a little inconsistent. One side was way over seared while the other was ok. Flavor was just ok. I usually expect belly to be rich but this was just so-so. For entree, I chose the halibut. It had next to no flavor. Even combined with the english pea sauce, it was just a mush of nothing. It needed salt... badly. Also the fish was a little overcooked. Usually halibut is a lot more tender. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate toffee cake. It was certainly cake and chocolate. There may have been toffee at some point during production. But if there was, I couldn't taste it. Service was just ok as well. The staff was very friendly albeit not attentive. We had 6 people at our table. They dropped off one bottle of water which goes fast with that many people. They only appeared once with another bottle at the end of the meal. We were pretty parched for the duration of our dinner. I think I'll pass on 2120 next time. Lovely decor. OK service. My bf and I were visiting from SF and came here with two friends that live in Seattle. I was already sooo excited that they had happy hour until closing. The happy hour menu had a lot of great choices but I chose the steak with chimichurri sauce. That was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. They also have a pretty unique cocktail menu. I ordered the "blessed be the fruit" and that was probably the best drink I ever had! My friends and I wanted to get the punch bowl but was very intimidated by how many servings it said. But the waiter kindly brought out what the bowl looked like and we ordered it. That drink was great too!! Aside from the decor and the food and drink options, the service was amazing! One of the managers was very attentive and chat with us a while. He really appreciate the compliments we provided. Our waiter was so kind, patient and over all a pleasant person. Above and beyond when it comes to service! We have a life threatening food allergy in our family and there are a lot of restaurants in Seattle that either don't know how to handle this type of situation or are annoyed by the request. When we told the manager Christopher and our server Katie about the concerns, they immediately took note. Unlike many other restaurants who barely write it down or brush it off, Christopher and Katie made sure to let us know they confirmed that they let the kitchen know about the nut allergy. In addition to going above and beyond to accommodate the food allergy concern, we also had great service. I've read some of the reviews on 2120's Yelp page that point out waiting a long time for food to come out. The restaurant was packed in the bar area, the dining area, and there was an event outside and our appetizers came out quickly and our entrees were timed to come out shortly afterwards. I had the rack of Lamb and it was a really generous portion of meat, and of course, delicious. The burgers and fries are amazing and someone in our party also raved about the halibut. I've been to 2120 for happy hour too and I love the chicharróns. They are usually only served in the bar area but I asked and Katie even asked the kitchen if they would make an exception to serve them in the dining area. The service here is not good. I celebrated my birthday here and over the phone they seemed okay with accommodating a cake that I had wanted to bring. However our waitress was really rude about the process. When I asked her is they could cut it, she gave me an eye roll. Also just in general she seemed kinda condescending. Juice was from concentrate yet they charged premium price. Service was ok and food way below mediocre. One star was fir the garden view and patio seating. Service was beyond horrific, I understand it's gay parades but management should of been prepared that it was going to bu busy. After waiting for 20 min we had to go ask for water ourselves after being seated. Juice took another 20 minute. On top of that, the fries were cold when they arrived. When it was time to pay, our server brought us the wrong bill (it was for much less than what we ordered) and disappeared. We asked another person who looked like a server for help but she rudely responded that she was "just the host" and that we should find the server ourselves. No, just no. I work in the building 2120 is housed in and I've managed to avoid this place like the plague until now. Like it's now-closed predecessor, Park 99, don't let this place fool you with its mediocre, bland food that's plated like a 4-star restaurant. Based on my visit, the only redeemable things about this place were the service, upscale modern décor, outdoor patio and location, but who really cares about those things when the food is terrible? I came here for a going away lunch with a large group of co-workers and the general consensus was 'meh'. A few had been here before, but stated it was mostly out of convenience and one of the nicer places to take interviewees for lunch in the neighborhood. Not a single person said it was because the food was good. Lol. The restaurant was pretty empty for lunch and we were there during prime lunch hours. The two stars are basically for the service. Our server was great and very attentive, and all of our food came out in a timely manner. Anyway, it's an upscale lunch place serving $18+ salads if you add a protein, so that may deter people from coming here on the regular. I wasn't particularly wowed by their lunch options and went with the braised short rib sandwich, which ended up being very lackluster. It was basically a thin layer of dry short rib on a ciabatta bun and there were more onions than anything else. The sandwich was pretty bland and the addition of a side of bbq sauce didn't help much in terms of flavor. There was also a side of aioli that had zero discernible flavor. I just looked at the menu and apparently, it was supposed to be a chimichurri aioli. Um...I don't know about you, but shouldn't chimichurri aioli be green due to herbs? I definitely got a side of white aioli. The accompanying fries were also a limp, soggy mess. I hate greasy limp fries. Give me some crispy texture, man! I managed to choke some of the sandwich down and left underwhelmed. I also tried a bite of mac & cheese which was creamy, but also incredibly bland. Someone in the kitchen isn't tasting the food for seasoning.... TL;DR: Would not recommend unless you have money to burn on pretty (bland) food and an upscale ambiance. read more

Everything was delicious, but the burger and meatballs really stood out for me. We asked our waiter for a knife to cut the sliders, and he took it a step further and brought it back to the chef to cut with a sharper knife than he could bring to the tables.
