We were surprised at how busy it was already. Only opened 3 weeks ago We were not disappointed. The thing I really liked was the 8 ounce beers. I could try more than one. The food was amazing. We were there at lunch and choose 2 items for one price. I had Mac n cheese and it was so good and a burger-delicious. It wasn't big but enough. Onion jam was the bomb. My husband had the turkey pesto and sweet potato fries. They were both very good. More than enough to eat. To top it off we added dessert. OMG the chocolate cake was huge and could be shared by 4. After moving us 3 times because of the narrowness of the booths, (saw folks with their belly on top of the tables), the incredibly loud music, we were finally sat at a normal booth. The server was great and the food was okay. Definitely won't put this restaurant on our rotation. 30Hop was an enjoyable experience. I met friends there on New Year's Day, it was the location that worked for us that day. We chose the right day, Wednesday they have 28 ounce beers on Happy Hour special for $5.99. They also have appetizers on special, 30% off, Sunday through Friday. I had the Backswing Red Ale, it was delicious. We shared the 30Hop Nachos. They were very tasty, different from your typical sports bar nachos, kicked up a few notches. The bar itself is large with high ceilings, lots of large screen TVs, & you can speak & be heard without yelling. The tables are plentiful, but are spaced far enough apart so it is easy to move about. That is a pet peeve of mine, you should be able walk through a restaurant freely. The ladies restroom was clean & well appointed. Our server was a delight, I hate to admit it, but I can't remember his name, must be that 28 ounce beer. I think it was Ryan, he was really busy with some large parties, but very pleasant, & too apologetic, it was a holiday & we were there to relax & visit. Everyone who served us was pleasant & helpful. Spent New Year's Day Eve there, started with Old Fashion's on Special, and been hearing their chip appetizers are a must try. Yep , incredible, we ordered the Chips and Queso, also came with the best salsa! They Even provided the extra chips. Our Burgers were perfect, and Gluten Free buns made my Wife experience a happy one! We'll be back soon to try more food. read more

Booths were made to stuff as many booths in as possible not taking into consideration people with long legs. It was VERY uncomfortable!!

I've been here 3 times since they opened a month or more ago! The chicken nachos are to die for! Burgers are also great! The first time I went there, you'd never knew they had just opened! Service is amazing!! Can't wait to try more dishes from them. Especially the brunch read more

Yesterday was my friends birthday. He chose 30Hop to go celebrate. We have been there many times before (with cakes). Usually when we have a group of (8), they seat us back by the patio. I got there @ 4:40 & went to the back as my friends are usually the first ones there since I work. The area was completely empty. I went to the front desk. Told him we needed a table for (8). He asked if I had a reservation. I told him no. He said everything back there was reserved. Said we would have to take (2) high top tables. I told him that would be fine. He took my number & text me the reservation. He saw I had a cake container (with the birthday cake I had made in it) & asked is there a cake in there? I said yes. He asked if it was homemade? I said yes. Why he cared if it was homemade or not is beyond me. He then continued to yell @ me & tell me that I was not aloud to have that in there, nor could I even open there & that we were not going to be eating cake there. We have had many birthday parties in there with cake. We waited for 25 minutes when he told me it would be a (15) minute wait. There were empty tables & lots of booths open. Not like they were super busy. By the time we decided to go somewhere else, we knew everything would now be busy. We went down the street to the closest thing we could find, Rusty Nail who were very nice to us & accommodated everything we needed. I gave them the tin of HOMEMADE Christmas cookies that I was going to give to the 30Hop staff since they had to work & they were very grateful. I will NEVER give another dime of my hard earned money to 30Hop. I am a small business owner & have never been treated so poorly in my life. Needless to say, I get an email from them this morning stating they are closed today & tomorrow but I can still buy gift cards there. Sorry, don't need your attitude. Lots of places to go in this city. 30Hop will not be one of them. Word of mouth can be the best or worst advertising. Believe me, I will tell everyone I know how we were treated. read more

I think almost everything can be improved here. We tried this place two times and both times we received the worst service we have had in over 20 years. Once sitting at the bar and the other time we sat at a table. Both visits came in the early afternoon during slow business hours. I'd like to comment on everything involved in this business's identity crises and its numerous management issues but I'm not going to help save this place. Yet I'd like to be helpful for the community. So if you are considering a visit here, expect an issue or two so you won't be disappointed. It's somewhat new and it's nice to try something new but service was horrendous. 25 minutes for a draft beer horrendous and that was a start. Do not expect a manager visit and try to enjoy your journey if you risk it. We will never be back. read more

We had been wanting to try this place since it opened and we finally did this last Friday. We sat out at the covered patio because it was a very nice day and the windows were open. Even with the windows open or the doors open, it was still loud hard to hear and hard to have a conversation. My wife had the Very Berry salad which she really liked. I had the Carne Asada street tacos. I honestly did not care for the them at all, only ate 3/4 of one of them. There were some weird flavor that just didn't sit well with me. The drinks were good. Happy hour prices are decent. It's just upscale bar food and it's decent but not great. I will say the artichoke dip wasn't my favorite. We may be back for drinks and some appetizers during happy hour, but that's probably it. read more

Solid place. We went early cuz of kids, so the Happy Hour discount was awesome. No complaints about food from anyone - even the kids. The Brussels sprouts are kickass. We went there for brunch. The service was great and prompt. My son ordered the breakfast burrito, I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy with 2 eggs and then my daughter in law ordered the tater tot bowl. This has been our go to spot for the last month. We've been quite a few times we love that there is something for everyone on the menu so whether it's just hubby and I or large group, everyone seems pleased with finding something they want to eat. Service is always friendly and pretty prompt. The atmosphere is lively Apple TVs for anyone who wants to watch the game usually we're involved in conversation, though noise level is medium normal people probably could have an OK conversation, but since my hubby is hard of hearing, we usually have to resort to Sign Language. Food is good. A few items on the menu have really large portions like the chicken strips that I could not finish in one sitting and that was probably the best thing I've ordered up until now. Burgers are pretty good portion. Also, we tried brunch last week. My French toast was OK But I think I'll go for something different next time. It was not something I would recommend. Salads look fabulous, though I haven't tried them personally yet, very fresh. beer list is always important to us and it's decent here, but we've tried just about everything after a couple of months and are looking for a little more variety. read more

First thoughts. The interior design is reminiscent of a 70's funk studio and a micro brewery. Although no brewery supplies found. Menu gives a firm Asian American inspired bar food feel. Not the most gf inclusive place around. A couple of apps, some salads, bowls, and burgers with omissions. Some items in the beer list may not be available due to discontinued products. Sunday night is football night. So if you want to have developed conversations try a different night. We got apps and a drink each and got our dinner to go. Upon getting halfway home we noticed the soup container was not bagged and had spilled inside the bag all over the other food. Having said that. The flavors here are wonderful when executed properly. The service is prompt and urgent given the size and capacity of the place. I give 3/5 may come back to try the lunch selections. Ps portions are key. chips duo had double the amount of cheese and salsa per chip ratio. That's just throwing money away at that point. read more

We tried 30hop for the first time last night & upon entering they let us know they were only taking reservations but we were welcome to sit at the bar. We easily found two seats & were served right away. The bartender gave prompt service & the atmosphere was nice. We ordered drinks and the pretzel bites to start. They came quickly and were hot. The dips were half filled but we were able to make the serving last. My husband had a beer from tap & I had a strawberry margarita mule. The strawberry flavor was lacking, but it was still a good drink. For our main meal my husband had the bbq bacon burger and I had the chicken tacos. I loved my meal. My husband enjoyed his burger as well. The surprise came when we received our bill & were charged $0.50 to remove onions from the burger and another $0.50 for the sauce on the side. It was another $1.00 to change cheese, but that's understandable to us. We were not informed of these extra charges to remove items and for sauce to be on the side. The burger was priced for $17.99 and was up charged to be $19.99 total. Overall, we might be back again but I'm a little bummed of the lack of price transparency. read more
