350 grill is one of those restaurants that we've been wanting to try. We finally made a reservation for dinner this past Saturday and it certainly did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, especially around the holiday season. Our waitress was great, attentive, polite, helpful and quick. We started with the nachos, those were simple but a great bite. I ordered the surf and turf after seeing pictures of it everywhere. The risotto cake was fried perfectly, garlic heavy but delicious. The two fillets were cooked perfectly, the scallop was seared excellently, the shrimp were perfect as well. All of this was top with am amazing Boursin cream sauce. My wife got the filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus she had no complaints about her meal and loved every bite as well. This place has such potential. Under staffed which is understandable during these times. When waiting for a Moscow mule for 25 minutes to get just ginger beer isn't the way to start your evening. Grilled octopus was under cooked the burrata-no words to explain but to say they need to learn what burrata is. When receiving the entree which was scallops and risotto . Scallops again were under cooked. So in the end my entree was just the risotto. Laurie was a wonderful and attentive server. She made sure to ask how everything was going in a timely manner. She apologized continuously for the delay in drinks and food. We ultimately had Sherry the manager come over and we expressed our disappointment in quality of food and drink it seemed very dismissive. Sherry did comp our meal but it is not about the financial aspect but the quality. Came here for our anniversary dinner since the website said fine dining. We waited for close to ten minutes at the front with no one in sight to seat us. The atmosphere was far from fine dining - a sad off-key singer played loud renditions of billy Joel on his keyboard, drunk patrons in dirty clothes wandered around, and the entire place smelled like marijuana. The food was even sadder. My filet Mignon was dry and chewy, the asparagus was unseasoned and wilted with no flavor, and the Mac and cheese was worse than what I can get out of a box. At this point I didn't have high hopes for the dessert but when the stale piece of cake came out with cool whip on it (yes, cool whip) my concerns were confirmed. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, Pecan Salmon w/ a side of sautéed spinach and appetizer lobster bisque soup. Everything was very fresh, hot, greatly prepare and the presentation is really nice. The restaurant also has a very nice wine selection. It's plenty of parking available at this establishment, and i heard the cheesecake is amazing here as well. I ordered pan seared scallops, my son ordered NY strip and my husband ordered beef wellington. Every dish was presented beautifully and cooked perfectly. All three of us were thrilled. The 3 of us shared a gigantic slice of carrot cake for dessert. It was very, very good. Our server, Katherine, was excellent. She was attentive but didn't hover. Visiting from out of town, and we searched nearby restaurants and chose this establishment. When we arrived, there was another couple checking in. Hostess sits them and disappears briefly leaving us standing there. Upon her eventual return she asks if we had a reservation, which we did not. "Let me see if I have something." Shuffles through the menus and walks us to a table, maybe 12 feet from the live entertainment. Said that was all she had. However, a few tables were open in the back the entire time we were there. When the hostess came around asking people how everything was, while drinking a glass of white wine herself, I was honest and said I wasn't happy where we were sat. She fibbed and said all those tables were full when we came in. No, no. Liar, liar pants on fire. Music was way too loud, though the gentleman singing sounded good. We could not talk at all. First we sat for over a hour just waiting to order drinks finally the dishwasher took pity on us and got our drinks then we waited another 2 hours for food- Ordered steaks medium well that came out rare and they won't allow you to send them back, however the kitchen decides to make it is how your supposed to eat it. Excellent meal and ambiance had a half circle booth for our anniversary with live music. Service was friendly but not very knowledgeable said he was new so that's ok. Our meals were excellent only complaint was the fried Brussel sprouts needed a dipping sauce which we asked for from another app and they brought it right out. Clams casino were very good and surf n turf was amazing. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was there were fruit flies flying around where we had to put a napkin over the wine bottle to keep them out. Let's start off with the decor. It's not too bright and not too dim, the rustic feel and old fashioned charm of this restaurant was really nice and fitting for the type of menu. Our waiter (Mike) did well. A round of non-adult beverages came out quickly, with a list of specials. Dinner. My wife got Beef Wellington. She chose to have it served with brussel sprouts which we delicious. Slightly crispy but filled with flavor. We've never had beef Wellington, and I'm sad that I have never tasted it before this evening. The beef was cooked to perfection, the bun that surrounded the beef was soft, and it was a delicious meal. My 15 year old sister ordered the Filet Mignon with a side of mashed potatoes. Again, cooked perfect. Seasoned nicely. Great flavor. My 13 year old brother ordered a boneless ribeye with mashed. Cooked perfectly, filled with flavor. Mashed potatoes were creamy. My father had the bone in ribeye steak. I feel repetitive but it was delicious and cooked perfectly. I ordered the swordfish special served over restaurant made pasta. I felt as though the pasta had a very strong garlic flavor, slightly overpowering. The fish was great. Great flavor, flaky, soft, and cooked perfect. Dessert. My sister ordered a lava cake. Amazing. Can't go wrong with lava cake. My wife and I ordered the tiramisu and Mike brought us two pieces because he must've known I HATE SHARING! My wife also ordered a cappuccino, and my father grabbed a shot of espresso. All in all a wonderful night. Disclaimer: there is a strip club next door that is connected to this restaurant. I recently dined at the 350 Grill on Worthington Street in Springfield with a group of about eight friends and I have never had a more unpleasant and infuriating dining experience. From the sticky floors to the horrible customer service to the drink served with a bug in it, to the dirty glasses (several with lipstick stains), it seemed things couldn't get any worse. However, they did get progressively worse. Members of my party sat for nearly two hours without having their dinner order taken despite repeated reminders to the wait staff. The restaurant was not busy yet the wait staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced. They became defensive when we requested clean glasses. We asked for the manager who was at first argumentative until one of my friends empathized with her. At this point, I no longer wanted to order dinner there after witnessing my friend being disrespected and yelled at. Two members of our party received their meals which were cold at the time we were getting ready to leave. In my haste to leave, I didn't notice I had been overcharged. When I returned and brought this to the server's attention, she tried to argue with me and eventually relented at the urging of the manager. The server hit the keys on the register with such force, I thought she would break it. I felt bad for my friends, Springfield natives, who introduced this steakhouse as a high-end restaurant. I'm one who believes in looking at the positive side of things. The appetizers--lobster bisque and iceberg wedge--weren't bad, but the horrible customer service, poorly trained staff, were more than I could stomach. No pun intended. read more

Great food and service at the 350 grill. My best friend and I came with a huge appetite and ordered a bunch of appetizers that were all outstanding. The portions were large and more than enough for a group of friends to share. The favorites of the night were the French onion soup, Brussel sprouts and I can not forget the Lobster Mac and cheese. This place was a very generic "fancy" restaurant. The chicken for the chicken Milanese was not seasoned very well and was served on a pile of arugula salad. The only taste was parmesan. The rack of lamb was hard to eat and hard to cut into. It was very hard to get the waitress' attention. She would not watch if we needed anything or not. Probably one of the weirder lunches I've seen come out of any kitchen. My dining companion ordered a shrimp cocktail. Waiter says, "How many shrimp you want. They're $4 each." Hokay, he orders 3. Big shrimp..3 bites each. Pretty good. Me, I'm in the mood for a salad on a hot day so I order the shaved steak salad. What comes is a giant mound of shaved beef and ham on few leaves of lettuce, French fries on top with melted cheese! Wut? That's it. SALAD?? No veggies at all other than the tiny bed of drenched lettuce under the tower of shaved (and spiceless) meat. So weird. So unappetizing. Wish I took a pic. Place was empty. I'd give in one star but those oddly priced shrimp saved it and it's gets two. read more
