So I've been at about 15-20% on my front brakes for the past few months. I'd been putting if off for some time so I was very nervous to the possible damage I had done to my rotors and any other parts as a result of my negligance. I found Serj's auto business from some basic internet searches and gave a call in to feel them out. Immediately, a serviceman began answering my questions on the brake service, pricing and so forth. I felt extremely positive from the conversation so I booked an appointment for today to get my brakes worked on and an oil change. Serj greeted me when I pulled up from my drive from Echo Park and I immediately felt comfortable with the shop and its workers. I'm 100% one of those individuals that is weary of automotive businesses for as most you know, the many horror stories and money pits they can become. After taking some basic information down (car model, make, year, name, phone contact, email), I strolled down the street to starbucks to do work on my labtop feeling 1000% comfortable my car was in good and honest hands. Got a call from Serj less than an hour later informing me that my back brakes were just fine with about 55% usage to go (when Big O Tires told me they were 15% 3 months ago!) and that only my front brakes needed to be changed. Serj also informed me of a engine belt I needed to be replaced and gave me a standard quote as I confirmed on some simple google searches. I passed for the meantime on the belt job as it wasn't super pressing and went ahead with my front brake pad install, rotor re-surface, oil change, fluid top off, tire rotation and such. Got a call 2 hours later and with the brake service & oil change promotion Serj was running, I happily drove off paying a total of $82 and change. To think it couldn't get better and more honest than this, Serj gave me a printed full diagnostic run down of the car inspection, even so detailed as to inform me of a wiper blade replacement need, middle back brake light malfunction and the engine belt need. MOST IMPORTANT: there was no sneaky upselling with the few things I still needed to attend to on my car. That is always an uncomfortable and awkward exchange when it happens and when it didn't, I corny enough was proud to be Serj's customer. And after all this, here was the kicker that hands down will make me a repeat customer of Serj. I remembered I had a loose panel on my left driver door from when my driver's side window was broken into and the window was put on hastily by a poor quality window repairman as I tried to save a few bucks. He did a terrible job and as a result will always do due diligence and not cut corners when it comes to my car. So I've been quietly closing my door for the past year and half prolonging the inevitable of getting the panel fixed as it gets stuck on a clamp or something that makes the door properly close. I asked my dealership warranty months after this incident how much it would cost and if the loose panel would be under warranty but they said because it was fixed by a 3rd party, I would have to pay full pop and they quoted me at over $500 which was absolutely absurd to me because all it needed was a simple plug screw. They told me because they had to take the panel off, labor and materials, it would be over $500, possibly less. So when I'm about out the door, I remembered to ask him out of curiosity what it would entail for me to get the panel fixed. AND TO MY OVERWHELMING SURPRISE, Serj told me in so many words: "...oh yea I noticed the door panel and I went ahead and fixed it, borrowing an unused screw from another panel. You're good to go." Sure enough, I opened the door, the panel was fixed and I was convinced that 360 Auto Clinic is the most honest, hard working, legitimate and quality auto business I have ever encountered. Of course the deals Serj was promoting his business with drew me in and thankfully he had it running because without it and me being extra frugile about dumping excess money into my car from shady car folks, I would have never found this gem in Los Angeles. Mind you I am born and raised in Los Angeles, lived from Atwater to the valley to Echo Park and have come across at least a half a dozen auto mechanics I've used. Hands down, Serj will get my business and I will be happy to pay whatever service I need to, promotion or NOT! If Serj is reading this, THANK YOU once again and I look forward to my inevitable next service for my car. read more

After a visit to 360 Auto Clinic (with good results), I recommended it to my wife. I would not do so again, because of unnecessary work performed and inflated prices for parts. When doing routine maintenance, Serj pressured my wife to replace an engine belt; otherwise, he said, she risked a serious accident on the freeway. She okayed the work, but asked him to save the belt. When she picked up her car, he pointed to the seams on the belt (which are clearly visible when the belt is new) as evidence of "excessive wear." There was no sign of heavy wear anywhere. I showed it to a mechanic I know in Silver Lake, who bent it to look for cracks (there were none). He told me that the old belt looked like it could perform safely for 25,000 to 30,000 additional miles. Then he asked me how many miles her Civic had on it (69,000); he told me that his shop did not usually change these belts before 90,000 miles. I returned to speak with Serj, belt in hand. When he pointed to the seams as "excessive wear," I dismissed this. He then said that, since he didn't know if he would "see the car again in the next 6 months," it was better to change the belt before it needed to be done. Okay, I replied, but since the car travels no more than 10,000 miles a year, it would be 2 to 3 years, not 6 months, before it needed replacing. The work - at this point - was unnecessary (and he had scared my wife with warnings of an imminent failure and the risk of an accident). Serj said he didn't want to create a rift. He would consider refunding the labor charges, if we would continue to bring our cars into the shop. I rejected this offer, saying I did not want him working on my car; then I spoke with my wife, who wanted to recoup some of her money. I returned to let him know that I had reconsidered. A few weeks later, I came back with my Camry, reminding Serj of his offer; he issued a check for my wife for $69 (representing the previous labor charge for the engine belt). I had 360 Auto replace 2 power steering hoses on my car and paid $566.49, but I was surprised that the labor charge was dwarfed by the charge for parts (contrary to what I had been told to expect). The charges included $165.89 for a return hose and $162.20 for a suction hose. I phoned the Toyota dealer near 360 Auto. The retail price (not the wholesale price that auto shops pay) for the 2 hoses was $99.85 and $100.22, respectively. 360 Auto had charged me more than 60% above the retail price for these parts. I spoke with the shop about the prices; I was assured that the charge for parts was no mistake. I won't be going back to 360 Auto. read more

took my 04' Ford F-150 in for a transmission rebuild about a week ago. asked a lot of friends and looked around for a while before I decided to take it in here. so glad that I did. and I couldn't possibly be happier with the quality of service, and the smiles that came along with it. took about a week from start to finish, and the entire time they kept me up to date with the progress and and made sure to confirm with me on every step. got my transmission rebuilt, oil changed, a new air filter, and a few other minor checkups (as my truck hadn't been running for about a year) for an absolutely amazing price. runs like it did the day it rolled off the lot! thanks guys! read more

owner of a benz e350, which recently needed an oil change and a new motor for the driver's side window. took it to serj at 360 auto clinic. All i can says is WOW. i was in at 9 am and out by 10:30. the entire visit which included labor time as well as the time we had to wait for the replacement part to arrive, took no longer than an hour and half. If i had taken my car to the dealer, it would have had to stay there for at least a day or two. I'm still in shock as to how fast and precisely Serj got the job done! 360 Auto Clinic has prevented major damages to three of my vehicles! Serj and his team are very honest, professional, and friendly! The first time I went for a random noise in my wife's car, Serj got in, took a test drive free, and listened and felt what the car was doing, turned out a good cleaning and oil change fixed the problem. He never tried to up sell me on services that were not needed, but very honest on maintenance issues. Second time on a different car he found a radiator problem before it overheated and damaged the engine. The third time on another car he replaced a thermostat and water pump that would have damaged the engine. The whole team communicates the problem, costs, time, and even picked me up after repairs were done. A+! The WORST mechanic shop ever!!! They will lie and rob you blind!!! Avoid this shop!! I took my car in for a check engine light and after five visits and over $1300 of work, my check engine light is still ON. I had brought my car in to change the brakes. After leaving my car there for the whole day, I had four new brakes installed, and was provide with a list of other repairs that my car needed. That's when my troubles started. My brakes started to make a really high pitched squeaking sound, as soon as I left the shop. I bought my car back for a second time to see why there was this strange noise coming from my brakes. Serj told me that the brakes were new and had to get worn in. After another week had passed, and still driving around with my brakes making a loud, embarrassing squeaking noise, I once again took my car back to see what was going on. And once again, Serj told me that they were new brakes and I had to give it some time for them to wear in. Well, a month had gone by, and after taking my car to 360 auto clinic for three times now, I decided to take my car into Midas. When they took a look at my supposedly brand new brakes, I was told that the brakes that had been installed were really cheap quality brakes, and that I had to replace them again so I would not damage my brake rotors. At this point I was extremely disappointed. I found 360 auto clinic through their reviews, but I ended up changing my brakes for a second time at Midas. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. They do really shady work and you will have to get your car repaired again for the same service someone else. Save your money and time, and avoid this shop. Serj assured me that I was getting high quality parts, but that was far from the truth. If you value your car look for another shop. You will save yourself a lot of headache and money. Unfortunately not a good experience here. I had purchased a groupon which gave me three oil changes and two tire rotations. When I called to make an appointment I was very specific with Arein that I was using my last of three groupons and that the last one included a tire rotation. After showing up for a 10AM appointment I was told they were out of OIL and it was coming in later that afternoon. Out of OIL? I though this is their main business how could they be out of OIL?. In any event, I decided to leave my car there and at 2PM I got a call from Arein saying the car was ready. I went to pick it up and called him from the road because there was NO notation on my receipt that a tire rotation had been done only air pressure. Arian then told me the tire rotation had been done. When I got home I looked at my tires and noticed my left rear tire which had a mark on it was not moved. So I called Arian back once again and said the tires were not rotated what gives? He then said he would call me back in five minutes after the mechanic who supposedly was out test driving a car would return. Arian called me back only to indicate what I had already known that the tires WERE NOT ROTATED but to bring the car back tomorrow AM. Once there, I mentioned I was not a happy camper as this was my third trip back and forth to this place and felt I had been lied to all along. I was then told by who I assume was the owner that it specifies on the groupon that they require a week in advance for an appointment if your using a groupon. I was very specific with Arian that I was in fact using a groupon and there was never a mention of a weeks notice. After the car was finally ready the owner comes in the office and shows me the statement on the groupon which states one week notice. I told him that I was very specific with Arian that I was using a groupon and Arians reply was "I don't recall" . Bottom line I got the distinct impression they did not want to do the oil change and tire rotation in the first place because there was little if no money invloved. If places like this are going to use groupons to lure new customers into their shop they should abide by them and not make customers go through an experience like I just did. read more
