Both were muy delish with minimal sugar. I plan to go back and try their 'avomango sweet dew', which I saw a lot of people get and looked amazing. The workers here are still getting adjusted, nobody was overly cheery or bothered to give recommendations/suggestions. Space is clean and bright, with mirrors lined along the walls so you can catch a reflection of yourself sipping on their concoctions. Good! super orange tea/ juice is a little tangy and mildly sweet and refreshing. with the added pear jelly it's even better. employees are helpful as well, i asked if they had non-dairy options for milk in the drinks, and she explained that while they usually have oatmilk, they are out. so i subbed for a juice. very good! also- when i ordered my drink, it was an estimated ~25 minute wait, but my drink was made in about 10 minutes. read more

My friends and I stopped by this place on a whim after looking around in the Tustin area for boba back in October 2024. It's been seven months and we still find ourselves grabbing boba here when we're in the area or make plans around it. What this place offers that's different from other boba places is how they brew and mix their drinks. Many boba places mask the tea flavor with sugar and milk and leave me with just a sugary, creamy drink with tea on the side but with 3cat the Tea part of Milk Tea is prominent enough to actually come through. It makes for a nice flavor profile and always has me coming back. I heavily suggest Lime Explosion and the Jasmine Milk Tea. My only complaint is that they haven't updated their menus since Christmas and have been wanting to try new things from them. read more

Grand opening happen last week. 3Cat has a following and the first location I ever stepped foot in was Rowland Heights. The boba shop isn't new to the game, just new to the area. You can find 3Cat around the corner from Two Hands. The establishment is super clean and airy. They offer a wide range of drinks ranging from fruit slushes to cheese lattes. Current promo is $100 gift card for $50. The promotion is only good until September 1st. They have an online platform you can order from and there is a screen next to the counter that lets you know how long it will take for your drink to come out. The space inside has limited seating but there is plenty of seating outdoors. I recommend the milk teas or cheese foam lattes. Tried the icy peach slush which supposedly have 4 peaches within! I would suggest full sweetness as my drink seemed lacking. It truly is made with fresh fruit which is amazing since most shops rely on syrups. I'd recommend coming on a weekday so you can avoid the line or early evening. read more

The place is located at The District in Tustin. There are plenty of parking spaces. They have some tables, but can get really crowded with everyone waiting. When we arrived, there was a long line and they had also closed off their online order on their website. The long line is due to only ordering via one kiosk, which was inefficient. Once we ordered, we had to wait longer for the drinks 'cause they had so many orders coming in. We waited about 40ish minutes to get the drinks. And probably 20ish minutes waiting in line to order. Next time, I'm definitely trying another place if the line is long. I had ordered the Ricefrost (seasonal drink) and it was really good! (But not good enough for me to wait that long in line next time) You can taste a bit of the rice and it was really creamy. The barley popping boba was interesting. It wasn't the usual soft popping boba where the flavor burst in your mouth. The barley popping boba was a bit hard but had an interesting taste to it. The drink was definitely unique and would get this same drink again next time. We ordered: - Icy Peach ($7.25) it is a fresh peach smoothie with diced peach chunks + brown sugar boba. This was one of the best peach smoothies I've had and I will definitely go back here just to get it. It is so refreshing, does not taste artificial/powdery, and it had the perfect amount of sweetness, toppings/drink ratio. - Mochi Barley Burst ($6.95) this drink sounded really unique so we got it! It is a floral black milk tea with barley popping boba and handcrafted mochi. This tasted really interesting, especially the barley popping boba. We thought it would be full of juice in the boba but it was more soft/gelatinous like texture & it didn't really "pop/explode" (it wasn't chewy like the boba pearls). The "floral" flavor wasn't really there either. This drink kinda tastes similar to black sesame so if you're into that you can give it a try! Mmmm this was such a nice surprise in Tustin! My friends and I were having dinner at the District and decided to walk around to find some dessert and stumbled upon this place. Very grateful the owner replied to my previous review. She was very kind and offered to remake my drink for free. We came back this evening and it was much busier than before! There were many students, it seemed like a good place to study. It was the perfect combination of lively but calm. As I came up to order, the barista took a bit of time to take my order. I don't want to be too harsh, but he wasn't very attentive. We got the mochi barley and the rice frost. I appreciated that they even had a wait time screen in the shop as well, although the estimated wait time was 18 minutes. Once we got our drinks, I was super excited to retry the mochi barley. It was so good--the sweetness and texture of the mochi paired well with the earthy flavors of the barley. My partner got the rice frost and she loved it. It was reminiscent of a rice wine. I've been to 3Cat a few times now, mainly for their Avomango Sweet Dew smoothie, and I really enjoy it. I get regular sweetness, which is not too sweet. The only downside is that I wish they offered a larger size! I've also tried the Mochi Barley Burst and Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea with boba. The mochi in the Mochi Barley Burst is great if you like that chewy mochi texture, and the barley popping boba has the skin of a popping boba but has a firmer texture with a subtle barley flavor, which is different from the usual fruit popping boba. As for the milk tea, it wasn't super creamy. There was a nice caffeine kick (at least for me) and the boba was chewy. They both were decent drinks, however the smoothie is what I come back for. There is one kiosk to order drinks and you can order online as well. There is a system that calls out your number and you can put your number during your order and receive a text when your order is ready. There are a couple tables inside to sit and hang out and a bunch of outdoor seating. read more
