We've been here many times for dining in since my last review. The dining-in experience has been so much better than pick-up or delivery: the staff are always friendly and welcoming, the food were always served quickly, and we've tried so many different dishes on the menu yet nothing has disappointed yet, even for a big meat-eater like myself!

Cannot believe I have not been here yet and so close to other restaurants I patron! The fried taro rolls were mom's favorite! Ordered the Papaya Salad, Pad Kee Mao and Crispy Tofu with Fried Basil, all vegan. Flavors slightly varied from similar named dishes from other restaurants. Flavors hit and good so no complaints, just an observation... if a dish includes "Crispy" in its name, it better be crispy! This dish was sauced up, just saying!

The menu has too many options, as a vegetarian I loved the food and happy to visit this place again. The service was good and the ambiance was cute, nicely themed. The food was well cooked, fresh and super tasty

Holy moly, this one's a winner. It took me forever to get here and now I'm not leaving. Super quiet on a Saturday afternoon so we had the run of the joint. Server was adorable and very friendly, checked on us during our meal but also gave us space. I had my new fave dish, Yum Neua Salad, which was spicy and flavorful with crunchy mock meat and fresh crisp veggies. My buddy had the orange tofu, which she pretty much devoured. There's some sort of voodoo in the Thai Iced tea, creamy, sweet and pungent I can't wait to return, again and again and try every dish on their vast menu. Cute restaurant is a bonus!

Oh my goodness... Let me just say, the flavours reminded me of Thailand! For someone who has been before and has tried the ordered items from the motherland, 45th Vegetarian Thai knows what they're doing!!!!!!!! The only compliant I have is the enoki mushrooms. It's very possible the oil they use to fry things was old because the mushrooms tasted like burnt oil lol. Otherwise, the show stopper was the Kao (khao) Soi. OMGGGGG!!!!!!!! Fulfilling, flavourful, 10/10. I will back specifically for that soup! No other Thai restaurants seem to even have it as option. Thank you for the deliciousness. Oh, and IT'S ALL VEGAN!!!!!!!! Yum!

I love the usage of nuts in Thai cooking, and 45th vegetarian Thai definitely delivered! I'm not a vegetarian so it was interesting to try Thai food without meats like I'm usually used to. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the khao soi, taro fried appetizer that comes with a plum sauce, the Wallingford, and the 45th street. We opted not to add the veggie meat (+$4) but that is an option too. The khao soi comes with a veggie meat drumstick already. The taro is fried in tofu skin and has peanuts mixed inside. Definitely my favorite dish, even if it was just an appetizer. It was still so hot and crispy by the time we arrived home. We ordered the kao soi with a 4/5 spicy level and it wasn't spicy at first, but the more you have, the more it hits you. It comes with the veggie meat stick, yakisoba noodles, and a variety of vegetable toppings. They package the noodles and toppings separate from the soup so it wouldn't get soggy. We couldn't finish it entirely and now have leftovers for tomorrow. The 45th street was rice paper rolls stuffed with an assortment of veggies and a peanut sauce drizzled on top. It was delicious and the sauce was sweet and savory at the same time. We ordered takeout so I cannot speak to the parking or ambiance of the restaurant. But the lady on the phone was very nice and made sure to ask us about the spice level (out of 5) for each dish. She also repeated back our order to us and asked us what type of rice we preferred (white or brown). The attention to detail throughout was nice.

Amazing, friendly service. Had the Hed Kem Thong Tod, Fresh rolls and the BEST Tom Yum soup I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Veg pod stickers and pad thai

I got the pad Thai and some veg pod stickers. I arrived and although no customer was in the restaurant, 3 guys behind the bar would not respond due to language barrier... than pointed me to a hurried man in the back on the phone. After a min he got my name and my order had been laying out open on a bar. He package that up and handed it to me. In comparison to another Thai I have been to, the portion was SMALL. The appy + dinner came to about $31. The taste was below average. In the pad Thai, the noodles were congealed, there were no veggies and only a couple small squares of tofu. Very underwhelming. I came away unsatisfied via portion size, price, taste and customer service. A bit disappointed.

The veggie tempura that we had to air fry...

We were extremely excited to try this place based on the reviews. We're practicing Buddhist vegan, so no garlic or green onions in our food. When we called to order our food, I mentioned it 3x's just to ensure they wouldn't mess up the order as I understand it's a unique request. The gal on the phone confirmed and assured me that it would be done without garlic/ green onions. We ordered a ton yum noodle soup, phad Thai and veggie tempura. The third of the veggie tempura was onions lol. Ridiculous. The one star is not for that, it was that the phad Thai noodles were also part raw and overall... my husband and I got super sick after eating it. We were both stuck in the bathroom for most of the day. Honestly wouldn't recommend it, go down to the ave at Arayas for vegan food that's tasty, clean and affordable.

Excellent vegan Thai for a hungry traveler! The service and food were wonderful. The spicy curries were perfect for staying cozy on a dreary, cold day. The long beans were delicious, too. I appreciated the fast, friendly service and the wide array of vegan options. Will definitely be back when in the area!

This used to be Jhanjay Vegetarian Thai, and I'm happy to say this new place is just as good. We stopped in for lunch and we're greeted by a friendly server, who gave us waters and a bowl of complimentary soup -- a nice touch. We ordered the Pra Rama .($14.95 plus tax), with a side of brown rice (+$1), and the Pad See Iw ($13.95 plus tax; made vegan by omitting the egg). We asked for both 5/5 spicy and they delivered perfectly on that request. Both dishes were delicious, amply spicy and yet integrated, and very flavourful. Both were excellent. We were quite full at the end of our meal. All in all, excellent veggie Thai, great service, good portions and value. Highly recommended.

Very well made vegan Thai food in Seattle. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, it was really good! The place is cute and all the dishes feel healthy and cozy in addition to being delicious. The server is very friendly. Thank you for the wonderful experience, Definitely recommend and I'd definitely go again!

The moment you walk in, it feels like you've been transported straight to a bustling Thai night market or a lively pub along the strip. The interior design and decor are so fun and detailed. Just keep in mind that it gets pretty loud and energetic inside, but in a fun, vibrant way that really adds to the experience. We ordered a little bit of everything: Tom Kha: Perfectly creamy, tangy, and hit all the right aromatic notes. Kor Moo Yang (Grilled Pork Neck): Tender, super savory, and packed with flavor. Pad Thai & Fried Rice: Both classic comfort dishes executed exceptionally well--not dry at all and loaded with taste. Everything came out piping hot and full of authentic flavor. The wait can be a bit long during peak hours, but it's 100% worth it. Definitely a new go-to Thai spot in Seattle!

The atmosphere is great and gives off Bangkok street food vibes especially with the fact that it stays open until 2 am. We came in at 6 pm on a Saturday and were seated within 5-10 minutes. The waiter was diligent about checking in on us despite how busy the place already was. Whilst I liked the restaurant vibes, the place where we were seated was so hot with absolutely no ventilation making it a bit uncomfortable for a Seattle summer. There are fans placed throughout the rest of the restaurants, but in the subsection where we were placed, I don't believe that was an option. Another thing that was disappointing is the menu is deceptive in saying that dishes can be made gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc, but that's actually not true. The salads, soups, curries, and Pad Thai all have fish sauce / oyster sauce in them which is not vegetarian. I ended up requesting for vegan dishes instead and I could only order noodles which made sharing with my non-vegetarian friends quite difficult. I ended up getting the Pad Mama which was delicious, but it was definitely not my first choice. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this restaurant for a vegetarian, but the options are incredible for those who eat meat and / or enjoy a good cocktail menu.

We scanned the electronic menu at the front, ordered, then got water at the self-serve station. We beat the lunch crowd so we had plenty of tables to choose from. The bright and cheery decor had nice ambiance and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My hubs ordered the Khao Soi Chiang Mai, one of his favorite dishes to order at a Thai restaurant. It was huge and came in a big, wide bowl. He enjoyed the flavor of the yellow curry and building heat of this dish. Make sure to get a steak knife at the front counter so you can cut the meat from the chicken drumstick (if you're not biting into it). Also, if you are a spice lightweight like me, this is not your dish. But if you enjoy spice and curries, you will enjoy this dish. I got the E-Jae House Noodle with chicken and no egg. Wow, their handmade rice noodles were amazing! So soft, tender, and kinda ropey. I loved the texture and taste of this dish. The sauce was light and complimented the noodles, chicken, green onions, and cilantro. It's so great to eat a restaurant dish that isn't too salty or saucy! It comes with a side of chili sauce which I didn't use, but if you like spice, I am sure it was good. We ended our meal by sharing a small order of the Mango Sticky Rice. It was delightful. The mango was perfectly ripe, the sticky rice was delicious, and it was topped with little crispies which we found out later was fried mung beans. A great ending to a great meal. We will definitely be back!

BATTERED CHICKEN RED CURRY - 17.75 Wow! I'm not usually a fan of fried foods, but the batter on the chicken was surprisingly light and flaky. The red curry was incredibly savory and aromatic, with a ton of flavor. Even after sitting for about half an hour, the chicken held up pretty well despite becoming a bit soggy. My concern is not with the meal; it is with the overall hospitality we received. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I observed differences in how guests were greeted and engaged. Some guests were welcomed with smiles, courtesy, and friendly conversation, while my own initial interaction felt more reserved and minimal in comparison. After being seated, I waited approximately 15 minutes before anyone offered me water, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. During that time, other tables around me were served water and received refills more promptly. I was waiting for my friend to arrive. Once my friend joined me, we were asked shortly after if we were ready to order, even though we had not yet had sufficient time to review the menu. Later, when we indicated that we were ready, the server took the menu and walked away without taking our order at that time. One interaction during the ordering process stood out. In general, I observed warm and friendly engagement between staff and other guests. When my friend asked a question, the response we received felt brief and less welcoming in tone and expression, which contributed to our overall impression of the interaction. Standing alone, a single expression or moment could be easily misread, and I would not base a review on that alone. However, within the context of the full experience, it contributed to our perception of inconsistency in service and attentiveness. That pattern continued throughout the meal. Some tables that ordered after us received their food before we did, and appeared to be served more quickly overall. We were also brought to-go boxes without requesting them while we were still eating and in conversation. This made us feel somewhat rushed to finish. The interaction when it came time to pay also felt brief and less engaging than expected. I can only speak to what I personally experienced. The concern here is not a single incident, but the overall pattern of service: delayed water, limited engagement at times, ordering delays, slower food timing compared to nearby tables, and feeling rushed toward the end of the meal. Again, the food was decent, and this review is primarily about the service. Based on our experience, the level of attentiveness and hospitality was inconsistent. For those reasons, my recommendation is maybe. Regardless of the cause, I believe every guest should receive consistent courtesy, professionalism, and attention.
