The drain pump broke on my washing machine and I considered this an emergency (not only because I'm spoiled by the comforts of modern technology, but also because I was on my period the week it broke and washing period underwear by hand in the sink feels like time traveling to a place I never want to go). I messaged 3 repair places, and 4Wires was the one that got back to me the soonest with a next-day appointment, so I chose them. They gave me a 2-hour window of time, and then texted me the last minute in that window to say they would be an hour late. So, that was annoying, but at least they were still coming. When the repair person arrived an hour later, I requested that they wear a mask and they agreed without complaint. That was nice. They replaced the drain pump in only 1 hour, which was great. The only bad part was how expensive it was. The cost for replacing a drain pump was $465. The internet says the part only costs $45, so that means 4Wires charges $420 an hour for labor. Either I went into the wrong line of work or they're overpriced. I was in the midst of a "laundry emergency", so I paid it, but I won't use them again. read more

I used YELP Request and a lot of repairmen answered, I started to use Prime HVAC first. Red flags and my gut was going off with this guy Tony from Prime HVAC I will NOT recommend Tony, he didn't know what he was doing and told me my refrigerator door will always close like it did. I dismissed him and got ahold of Ahmad with 4Wires Appliances. He came over and agreed with me by adding a washer to the door and adjusting the refrigerator to balance, he also cleaned my condenser for free. He cleaned up the mess perfectly, it was like he was never here. He will come back and replace my ice maker, he did not have that special component, but everything else he had. I worked with Farhad at 4Wires for two separate installations. The first one was a cooktop. I chose him because he is a great communicator with very prompt responses. Then the actual install went very well. He was very thorough and conscientious and found and fixed some unexpected problems. I've worked with other contractors who would have overlooked those types of issues. Based on that, I hired him again to install a microwave and trim kit. Again, the actual install seemed straightforward but ended up being very complicated. Called 4wires for a quote and for them to come and diagnose what was wrong with my washer and dryer. They were extremely responsive and friendly, told me right away the inspection rate and that it would be applied towards the costs of repair. We scheduled for the next day. Farhad was able to come early, and upon arriving, was able to diagnose exactly what was wrong with both units quickly and had everything with him to fix both washer and dryer. He quoted me a price , and once he got into my dryer realized that certain parts he thought he had to fix were ok and took $70 off of the Costs. I thought that was honest and a great business move. Had a issue with my dishwasher where it wasn't dispersing any water and wasn't draining. Farhad was quick to respond, although it was late in the day, we scheduled our appointment for the next morning. Upon inspecting our dishwasher, he found that there was nothing wrong with it.
