Stopped here after a snowmobiling excursion! The staff here were all really friendly so that always makes the experience better. Nice spot with plenty of seating inside. They have plenty of burger options and they were very tasty the different burgers we got. I'd definitely stop here again over the other burger joints. The tenders could've been crispier but the flavor was great. Really really good fries here too! I'd recommend this spot!

We ordered the rodeo, the boss, small side of fries, and a coconut chocolate shake. The burgers were pretty good, fairly average but tasty. The fries were good and the shake was delicious and the star of the meal, but definitely overpriced. Side Note: The building is without a doubt an old McDonalds.

We stopped by 50 Burger in Salida while waiting for an oil change, having spotted it on the drive in from Gunnison. It seemed like a good spot to grab lunch with the family. The menu had plenty of tempting options, but I went with the Southwest Burger after hearing it was their special. I paired it with Garlic Parmesan fries, while my wife and son opted for salads, and our two youngest ordered from the kids' menu (a burger and chicken fingers). My Southwest Burger was tasty, though a little messy. The real highlight, however, was the Garlic Parmesan fries - absolutely phenomenal! The portion was huge, easily enough for three people to share. My wife and son weren't thrilled with their salads, but the younger kids devoured their meals. Overall, I'd definitely stop by again if we're in the area. Next time, I'd skip the salads and try something else. I definitely recommend it, especially for the burgers and fries!

First time here, recommended by my husband. Restaurant opened promptly at 12 noon and we ordered right away. I asked to bring fries out with the burgers because they normally send out fries first and I like them with my burger. Service was very good and several people checked on us. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Burgers were very good and cooked right. I would definitely stop here again for a great lunch! They also had milkshakes which looked good so will have to try next time I am in town. Restaurant was clean. I would imagine this is a great spot for families to hang out for dinner as well!

A great burger spot right on hwy 50 in Salida. The restaurant is clean and warm, the food was amazing! It was a little pricey but well worth it. The burgers were delicious, the onion rings were huge, and the fries were perfectly cooked. The food took a while to come out, but perfection takes time. Well worth the time and money spend, we'd go back again.

This place had the worst fries I've ever had. They tasted like wood chips that's how small and very hard they were. I didn't realize this until I was back to my rental. My boyfriend said the same as well. It was highly disappointing. The sandwich I got was good as a partially redeeming aspect. It was grilled chicken with avocado. Aside from it falling apart trying to eat it, it was edible and tasty. I wouldn't be back based on the fries. I'm a huge fan of fries and when they aren't good or they're hard enough to bang on a table without breaking, that's not good.

I know a lot of people love this place, but I hate it. I came here 5 years ago, and wasn't impressed. I came back today to give them another chance. I remembered they were very expensive, so I prepared myself for that, and went in. I ordered a burger, fries, and a soft drink: $25. That's a lot, but it's an expensive mountain town, and a competing burger joint in Buena Vista has similar prices, so whatever!!! Next, I will say that their portions are absolutely absurd. I'm a big dude, and I can eat a lot, but I could not finish all my food. My leftovers went in the trash because leftover burgers and fries are disgusting. My burger was all flashy and no taste. Stacked so high that it was impossible to eat. The fries are too skinny for me. Maybe you like skinny fries, but I don't. The service was friendly and my food was cooked fresh, however, my burger was served on a metal tray, so it was cold. Lastly, I know this is subjective, but the music was absolutely terrible, and the TV was playing a disgusting boxing match. In conclusion: 50 Burger is overpriced, unreasonably enormous portions, bad music, crappy entertainment, and good service. Do not recommend.

Oh my stars, everything was wonderful, from the selection of brews to my fresh-squeezed lime mojito! Between the 6 of us we sampled onion rings, the polenta "snack" which I need to learn how to make, parmesan fries, a hot dog, burgers, and a milkshake. I do not exaggerate when I say ALL was superb. Stopped at 50 Burger on our way out of town heading home from vacation. It was SO good!! I had the Nutty Harvest salad & loved it. They make their salad dressings in house. My daughter & husband had the Shavano burger which has a fried egg on it...delicious! And everyone else had the best chicken fingers EVER. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely stop here again next time we're in town! read more

We order 2 shakes it took 45 minutes to make them and they weren't what we ordered. I've eaten here a couple times and it always takes a very long time to get food usually around 45 to 1 hour for food read more

From beer enthusiasts to burger connoisseurs, this is the place to fill your tummy! Their 1/3lb beef brisket burgers are by far top 5 of the tastiest burgers I've ever ate, and I've consumed a lot of beef in my lifetime. Surprise, surprise! Lots, lots more than burgers, though they looked delicious. I had a grilled ckicken sandwich with poblanos and other good stuff. It was wonderful. Spicy, tasty, fresh. Hubs opted for the steak and cheese, topped with Kimchi. He's still raving about it. Interesting, housemade things. Kimchi, saurkraut, pickles. Fresh fruit shakes. Oh, and a bar with lots of great beers. Don't miss this place. As I was puzzling over the menu, a customer who was picking up a to-go order assured me I couldn't go wrong, everything was delicious. Stopped here on our way through town( quick lunch stop due to I70 detour). Well worth the detour! Service was fast and friendly. Burgers were Amazing!! We ordered the brisket burger and the riverside burger. Hands down-the best burgers we ever had!! Both were served with a large portion of French fries! This is my go to place in Salida. While it's known for its burgers and fries their Steak Bugogi noodle bowl is excellent. Ramon noodles in a savory broth with a fried egg a touch of ham plus spinach and kimchi. Plus two skewers if thinly sliced grilled steak. Wonderful. My wife had the Rincon which is grilled salmon on challah bread with sprouts, guacamole and chipotle and a pickled jalapeño on the side. This was accompanied by a crisp side salad with a homemade vinaigrette on the side. Tasty. Very nice selection of craft brews from the bar. A little more price wise but this is definitely not your basic hamburger joint. I'll be back. read more

This place is so good. We always stop here when in Salida. Amazing burgers, fries, and their onion rings are ridiculous. The burger on greens instead of a bun is a great way to go and not feel as guilty for chowing down on all this food. read more

Stopped here a few times during my vacation in January since it was next door to my hotel. Service was very quick and very welcoming. Food tasted great, except we asked for no pink in the burgers and they were pink. Honest mistake though, would still visit again. read more

Pretty good burgers, for being "brisket" burgers. Fries taste very close to In&Out. 2 1/3 lb burgers, with fries and drinks for $24 & change. Hint: order them medium-well since my well-done lost some of the great flame-grilled taste. Sadly I'm not a big fan of B. B. King music, which was playing in the front dining area. Only 4-stars since I'm comparing the taste/texture of these burgers to Grassburgers in Durango. Wow, those were pretty darn good. All in all, a good place for a quick bite on your way to/from Denver and Durango. 'Nuf said. And they have free wifi! read more

Wow, so good! The beef ramen was great, the onion rings where the BEST I've ever had, no joke; double battered, crispy and served with a supper tasty dip. My wife loved her "Nuty Harvest Salad," the kids loved their burgers (nice and juicy). The burgers at the tables around us all looked amazing. Everything was fresh and top quality. The place is clean with spunky fun devote and a happy helpful staff. Give this place a try, we will be back. read more

This was our first time here. We're up from Missouri on a quick ski trip and we were craving a great local burger. That's exactly what we got, with the added bonus of a chocolate coconut shake.... Which is the best combo I've had to date. The burger menu is vast. I had the canyon which was amazing. I wish I would have gotten onion rings as a side because they looked amazing. Not to take away from the fried, they were good. We ski annually so we plan to make this a part of our trip. Nice job on everything! read more

Our favorite place to get a burger in CO. Drive a distance to satify our "need" for the best in the land. Our favorite is the Riverside with onion rings or with fries. We love their burgers and on tap beer selection. And now we love them for their committement to following the COVid Colorado guidelines. We witnessed their need to ask potential patrons to leave, ( not provide service) due to the two potential patrons not being willing to follow the COVid CO face covering requirement. The restaurant offers masks to those who have forgotten. We feel even more devoted to this quality restaurant, knowing that they are fully committed to keeping their staff, and customers as safe as possible during this time of uncertainty. This was a great spot for a family! Excellent food!!! I ordered a salad that was amazing and fresh ingredients- would not recommend the onion rings unless you love huge greasy onion rings- they were a bit to big and greasy fir us- all burgers were excellent and service was great! This is our absolute favorite place to stop when passing thru Salida. I recommend this restaurant because I inadvertently left my purse and the owner sent it back to me. The server recommended salmon toast, her favorite. The salmon is flown in weekly from Scotland. We like the choice of breakfast lunch or microbrews. read more

When this place first opened up the food taste good and it was very clean. Today we tried to order a medium well burger and was told that they now only cook medium or well and not medium well. Kind of odd but when it was served it was pink inside which made us feel that it wasn't safe to eat. The men's bathroom was absolutely disgusting! The restaurant itself is nasty! What in the world has happened to this place? As a local we will never go back and most certainly will tell other's about our experience. What a shame! read more

My husband and I split the Stockyard Burger. It was delicious! The fries were surprisingly good. We also split an order of onion rings. Our son had a Green salad with grilled chicken. They offered him extra dressing as it is large. We finished the meal with a Chocolate Coconut milk shake. It was amazing. The remodel from a Burger King is a much better option. While a tad pricy, the burgers were great and the soup (chicken add beef) was also very good. The only disappointment was the onion rings (too flaky and not much flavor) and the pickles (still tasted like cucumbers with heavy vinegar sauce....not quite pickles yet). Worth it for the main dishes though. read more

Burgers are decent and the creativity is cool. Bonfire burger has excellent flavor. I rate low due to high pricing and rare cooked burgers even though we ordered Well Done. Took forever to refire the burgers and that never impresses me. read more

Burgers were very good and had unique combinations. Their fries were homemade and I'd assume their other sides were as well. The place was clean. The only knock on the place is that they're pretty pricey for burgers. $12-13 each. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great burger. read more

Burgers were.. ok.. nothing special as much as they make it seem to be. Burgers are around 13 a piece and if you want a shake or beer your going to be paying g about 20 dollars a person. Unfortunately not worth it in my opinion. read more

Got the salmon filet burger, cooked to perfection. Homemade pickles and great bread. Rest of the clan got burgers and they were delicious too. Prices are high but quality is in line with the price. They had a great little bar area with wide selection of beers on tap and nitrous. read more

We stopped here on our way through to Denver. Bulgogi Grilled Chicken bowl was fantastic. The burgers were delish!!! Definitely a great stopping place for anyone. The atmosphere was fun and friendly and servers were nice. They even had a gluten free bun...bonus for me! read more

The iced coffee my partner got was great as well. We shared a pecan cinnamon slice (or was it a sticky bun perhaps) and it was also tasty. All in all this was a great spot to stop at and we will be back again when we come into town! Great selection of food, drinks, and merch. It was busy in there but very chill, laid back and quiet with people working or having small convos that didn't make things noisey.

They do a great job with everything I have ever ordered I get 2 meals out of 1 every time. They have been open throughout this whole COVID-19 ordeal. Friendly reliable staff complying with the mandatory regulations and still are pleasant to help with whatever I need!!! I could go on to add 50 things that make me happy with 50 burger. it was busy and the old dark haired lady (black hair) was a complete bitch. If you don't like your job get a different one. You might be too old for this anyways. Im sure they want fresh young people with good attitudes. She wasn't wearing a name tag for me to call her out by name but her hair was in a bun, heavier girl, she's working Sunday August 16th at 1;10pm so whoever that is. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ABUSIVE MANAGEMENT The owner Jeff is only interested in making more money, which is why it's all so stupid expensive (though the food is good) id rather eat at subway, knowing that the hired managers treat their employees horribly. They do not have any consideration for anyone but themselves and behave like children. I do not work there, not have I ever. I simply know what goes on behind the counter. Yikes! Not good, no not good at all! I just paid $14 for a dry, tasteless and thin burger and soggy fries! Dios mio! My husband is a vegetarian so we came here because he loves falafel. He ate 2 out of the 5 balls. I didn't try it because I am not a lover of falafel, but I will tell you they fell apart due to dryness and were served with tasteless dry salad.
