Overall, the quality of the fish was very ok, it didn't feel like the freshest most tender fish, but definitely safe to eat. As such, the sushi was ok. We got a few appetizers--karage, tofu, and takoyaki. The karage was decent, though covered with a bit too much sauce and chicken a little too dry. The tofu was also ok, with a too much breading. We came here because we had a Pulsd coupon for AYCE sushi and miscellaneous Japanese dishes for $39 for two people, which is such an amazing deal. It's normally $39 per person, which still isn't bad considering how good the food is here. It was admittedly a rough start. There was only one guy seating people, delivering food from the kitchen as well as the sushi bar, AND tending the bar. We had to wait a while for an explanation of how to order: You need to scan a QR code on the table and place orders via a website, but our table initially didn't even have a code. When we finally got on, the website didn't even work on my phone because it was so laggy... luckily it worked for my friend. It took about an hour between us entering and getting our first bite of food, which was obviously frustrating, especially since we were very hungry. That being said, once the dishes started coming out, almost everything was tasty and high quality. It was fantastic that you could order items as nigiri or sashimi. Of the many many MANY things we tried, the highlights were: steak tataki (they sear this tableside, and the meat is sooo juicy and tender with a delicious sauce and the spices on top cooked right in from the blowtorch), scallop sashimi (enough said), surf clam sashimi (huge cuts, nice and chewy and flavorful), and salmon sashimi. The tako salad was tasty, as was the kani salad. The Razzle Dazzle roll (salmon and avocado topped with spicy crunchy salmon and kani) was good, but next time I'd avoid rolls since all that rice really filled me up. The tuna tartar was okay. Came here for the AYCE dinner and I have to say the food was pretty decent and well made. They did not pack their sushi with ton of rice and the proportion and portion was the right amount. When placing an order, they asked that you scan their QR code and from there you have to register your number to place an order. The system moves slow too so ordering can be a bit frustrating. Though once the order goes through, the belly gets filled up quickly and everything is all sunshine and rainbows again. As for space, the vibe was good. It felt like we walked into a local neighborhood so that was nice and the tables were spacious. Staff was pleasant too. Though my only complaint is that calling this restaurant to place a reservation is pretty difficult. They never seem to pick up and when you make a reservation it tells you your reservation is pending. The staff are wonderful, courteous and very attentive too! Be sure to say hello to Simon, Ying and Jordan, and tip them well (they're the best). The food is DELICIOUS, and FRESH! Hands down my personal favorite all-you-can-eat sushi spot. They have high quality sushi at an affordable rate. Def. my go-to spot and I'm coming all the way from the Bronx. For the weekdays you might be able to walk in (depending on the size of you party) and you won't have any issues. Otherwise, I'd schedule online for a reservation (weekends or holidays). They have a diverse menu - pokè bowls, noodles and soups, bento box, and even the all you can eat. Food recommendations - the kani salad is my go-to as well as the edamame and octopus balls. All their speciality rolls (American Dream roll, I M Q, Razzle Dazzle, etc) are a must try. Can't go wrong there. I was so excited to try this place due to the supposed value of the AYCE (on top of the Pulsd deal). There is a decent variety of food items (fried/cooked items from the Kitchen) that you can get stuffed on. My favorite dish of the night were the fried oysters. The oysters were plump, fresh, and fried perfectly! However, I love raw fish/sushi and that's why I came here and that did not deliver. The negatives of my experience: the Miso Soup tasted like it came from one of those instant packets (I know how these taste since I make these when I'm super lazy at home)... There is a "Sushi/Raw Kitchen Special" (forgot what they named it) but you are only allowed 1 order per person for this. This is literally one of the only raw fish dishes I could order and it was super disappointing that I could only order 1. I love Uni and the max you can order is 3 per person (totally fine since Uni is expensive). However, this was probably the first time in my life that I couldn't even finish 1... It was really fishy tasting (in a bad way) and just tasted wrong (probably not fresh). FYI: There is a 18% Pulsd Service Charge (excl the standard tip/tax on the total bill). I found 66s Fusion on Yelp and then discovered they had a Pulsd deal for $39 for "All You Can Sushi Dinner For Two." The place is Asian modern but casual & if you like watching sports they have a million TVs in the bar area. Once sat the staff let us know to scan the QR at our table and we would be able to order from there. It's pretty seamless but the only issue I have is that when doing the all you can eat, and I assume any ordering there, you have to check out every time. So by the end of our meal I had 4 separate charges ($.63, $1.87, $21.29, $52.62) for one meal. They charge you if you waste food so I recommend sticking to 3-4 things at once (unless you know you are big eaters) & just eating a little at a time. The food comes out fairly quickly so you aren't waiting long and it allows you time to see how much more you can eat before ordering the next round. So all in all, if you can get the Pulsd deal, it's worth every penny! If you can't, it's still worth it! Absolutely best all you can eat sushi in NYC. AYCE most often means lower quality sushi but 66s Fusion is far from that, quite the opposite. The seafood tastes super fresh, the menu is extensive (non sushi items available too) and they have many delicious special roles. They also have incredible sashimi, tataki, and multiple seafood ceviches, all of great quality. Also don't sleep on their spicy miso soup and octopus balls! Both were made carefully and with special touches - the miso soup also had a big juicy shrimp in it while the octopus balls are served on a bed of fresh arugula and topped with spicy mayo and hoisin sauce. The drink menu is extensive with many wines available and they have several beers on tap. The atmosphere is great too, definitely geared a bit to a younger crowd with deep house music playing and more of a bar like look which I personally much prefer than some of the run down, dark sushi places you can see around the city. One thing to note where they could improve is on the QR code menu. After a hard week/month/year/two years, sometimes you just have to treat yourself to some sushi. And when you're lazy, you order delivery. I'd never heard of 66S Fusion before, but they showed up on both GrubHub and Uber Eats, and their menu had just about everything I wanted. I sprung for a few rolls, and some apps. For sushi, I got the Eclipse roll, which basically had everything (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado, topped with seared tuna, yellowtail, and salmon), and the American Dream roll (rock shrimp tempura). Both were very good, and I would highly recommend both, but I'd say the rock shrimp was more unique and worth trying. I got some sashimi as well - yellotwail, unagi, and mackerel. All very solid - I'd say mackarel was my favorite. Also got the tuna tartar, which was just chunked tuna (uncooked) with some garnish and sauce. Kind of wish it came with rice or something because it didn't really fit as an appetizer otherwise. The last two apps I got were the fried chicken and the Agedashi tofu, both of which can be skipped. The fried chicken was just your run-of-the-mill Chinese-American restaurant type of wings. And the tofu was soggy and became a gloopy mess (due to the cold weather and the fact that my delivery guy was on a bike, so can't really blame the restaurant). We've been waiting for 66S Fusion to open back up after they had shut down due to the pandemic! Food is as good as before! Thank god they didn't change their menu either. This unassuming restaurant is located in the middle of a super industrial area right across from Brooklyn Navy Yards. Parking around the area is a hit or miss. Walk in and there is a sports bar to the left and the dining area to the right. We were promptly seated as we had already made a reservation. It was early, 6:30pm, before the dinner rush. You are asked to order online by scanning their QR code on a card that is placed on your table. Ordering through the website was a little slow and we had to enter our information multiple times after each order was processed. We are asked to order about 6 items per order to not overwhelm the ticket and also to keep a steady flow of food coming. We were given a complimentary bottle of warm sake for the table. Delicious! We all got the AYCE for a table of 4. The food came quick! The salmon and scallop sashimi was fresh. The Uni, surf clam, and sweet shrimp was also delicious. The sushi rolls were appropriately sized, not too much rice. Almost each item was carefully plated. The Tonkatsu Ramen was flavorful and the ramen was so bouncy. All the fried items like shrimp tempura, fried oysters, and pork Katsu were fresh out of the deep fryer and so hot and crunchy. We ordered the Steak and Salmon Tataki and they torched it table side. The presentation is great! It doesn't even feel like eating AYCE. Quality is top notch. Service was also great! Very attentive. Our hostess came many times to check on us, refill beverages, take away empty plates, and give us clean plates. The manager, Simon, was also very welcoming. Worst ayce plc. We left hungry. They had one waiter and one bus boy on the weeknight I visited Took forever to get some food and almost all of them didn't come out. We asked again and again. They first said food was coming, then at the end they said there was nothing in queue for us.. we ordered by the QR code and we got emails next morning that our food was ready... what??! We didn't end up waiting for food or chasing more because the few dishes we had sucked anyways Place wasn't even busy and I am sure they r losing lots of money just trying to keep the plc opened . All you can eat sashimi! Amazing deal, first time here and it was quick and easy to order what you want. The place got packed quite quickly so I'm glad I went for dinner around 6pm, just enough time to dine before my Broadway show at 8pm! Came here last night for my friend's birthday. We had 5 Pulsd vouchers for the 10 people and it was honestly such a great deal. Between the voucher, tax, and gratuity, it came out to about $33.60 per person which is pretty hard to beat, especially including a drink. The restaurant was pretty empty which is a bit sad, especially seeing how great the deal is, but I won't complain since that meant the food all came out very quickly when we ordered it. Ordering through the website on our phones was easy, but make sure to hit the place order button. Also if your internet is bad they have wifi that you can connect to which I found very helpful. The servers were very friendly and good at their job, and even brought out some hot sake on the house. We also ordered some bottles of lychee sake which was delicious and tasted almost like juice. The rolls were all pretty good, although they definitely are a bit rice heavy. In addition to that, there are many other items on the menu that can be ordered and are included in the AYCE deal as well as some premium items for just a bit more.
