All 5 movers were very nice and professional . They packed all our belongings and load those on truck in no time . When it was time to pay the bill there was no surprises , only hours they worked time on previously discussed rate . Nothing extra with no up-sale . The actual movers were nice enough but the communication beforehand was challenging at best. Moving is a big deal and we haven't done it in almost 20 years so knowing what to expect and seeing a formal quote prior to reserving should be standard operating procedure. read more

This review is 98% for Crystal, although everyone at 680 Movers is wonderful! Moving sucks. It's the worst. But 680 Movers makes it so much easier. I used this company for our last move, and when I called to schedule our move this time, Crystal was so warm and wonderful. The first thing she did was offer us a return customer coupon (which was greatly appreciated!). From there , everything was seamless thanks to her. She was organized and on top of everything. She even accommodated our crazy schedule change last minute. The best thing Crystal did was tell me about the Elite package. It was absolutely wonderful. For almost the same price, the movers literally packed out ENTIRE place, taking all of the drama out of moving. In the past, packing up our kitchen has taken me days, This time, it took the guys 35 minutes to pack my entire kitchen -- no joke. And I have a lot of kitchen crap... Everything about the day of the move was a breeze. The team Crystal sent was top notch. I had taken the day off work to help, but the movers were so in control I actually went into the office for a few hours to stay out of their way. They packed all of our stuff safely and efficiently. I used 680 movers a couple of weeks ago for move and couldn't be happy with the move and overall experience. I reached out to multiple moving companies and received responses including a message from Lana at 680. The details provided and overall impression of message stood out a bit as it made sense, was fair and had everything i was looking for. I started interacting with Crystal and Lana after that who filled in details of move, what they offered and what was included. Lots of little things they think of offering before move (i'll let them pitch their benefits/differences) and i felt confident i was hiring a quality company to move my valuables. Lots of calls leading up to move and always felt they answered/responded as soon as they were able. After going over pics/item list of house and 2nd house where i was picking up in-laws stuff, CheryI made recommendation of trucks and staff she thought they would need. I didn't realize how important this was as I had understimated hours I thought it would be, but thanks to Cheryl's experience i had (2) trucks and (5) man-crew. I had some bids for (3) people (and 4) and confident based on pace i saw them move at, I would have just had a longer move at what i thought would be lower rate. Luckily didn't make that mistake. Danny i believe was name of lead, and i learned (and forgot) names of whole crew. Aside from everyone working hard/efficiently, there was a general positive attitude from staff who seemed ready to work, friendly and super professional. This is a higher end mover who will move all of your valuables safely and properly cover them if they are damaged. We were only moving the items in our 4-bedroom house 5 or so miles, however if it's 5 miles or 5,000 miles the intensity of moving is about the same. The 3-man crew that 680 sent was headed up by Santiago who arrived with a smile and maintained it throughout the move, as well as being very patient in dealing with various fragile items and disassembling and reassembling furniture during a hot August day - the crew were consummate professionals. read more

I used 680 Movers Elite for a move last month, from a house in Los Gatos to Danville. I am thrilled with the quality of the move, everything was done on schedule and with very high attention to detail. This would be a 5 star review except for the difficulties I had in getting hold of the company initially to get an estimate, and in some followup contact during the move planning phase. First, the good. Adrian was my move lead and he was fantastic. This was a pretty large move (4 bedroom house) and I was a bit worried about getting everything done in one day. I did most of the packing myself in advance (with boxes and supplies delivered to me by 680 Movers Elite), but they did the final packing of china/dishes/glasses/pictures and other breakables. There was a lot of furniture, including a piano, king and queen sized beds, two large plasma tvs, and many glass and oak cabinets/bookshelves. They brought a large team (7 guys) and did a fantastic job being very careful with everything but getting it all packed and loaded up in a short amount of time. Upon arrival at the new house (after having to drive through traffic), they unloaded everything and did a great job of setting up the tvs, the beds, bookshelves, and even unpacking clothes from wardrobes into the closets. Boxes were put correctly in the room where they were labelled to go, and everything was all unloaded and set up by 8pm. After unpacking everything, I discovered that not a single item was broken or damaged in the move, which is pretty amazing considering the large amount of stuff we have. To top off the quality of the move, the price for these guys was considerably lower than two other moving companies that gave me quotes. And they gave me a firm quote in advance, so there were no surprises. OK, so as I mentioned above, there was one not so good aspect of my experience. I had a heck of a time trying to get a quote from the company. I filled out their website form twice, sent emails, and never heard back after 10 days. I finally realized that I had to pick up the phone and call them (during their business hours) to get their attention. Once I did that, things ran pretty smoothly. There still were a couple of times when it took them quite a bit of time to reply to an email with a question, but otherwise they were supportive and responsive during the planning phase of the move. And as I mentioned, they delivered boxes and packing material to my house for me to do the packing in advance (but they will pack for you if you want). So the main advice I would give is to call them and deal with them by phone, as you will get a much better response. Otherwise, the cost and quality of service I got from them was outstanding and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I especially want to commend Adrian, who did such a good job organizing his team and getting everything done so well. He and the rest of the team were very friendly and polite as well. My overall experience has been pleasant with the staff and moving team from start of contact to the end. I had a few hiccups along the way however the team was very responsive and provided as many options as possible. I requested full moving service and delivery to 2 locations within 10 miles. Although not everyone on my moving team was fluent with speaking English, they were very courteous. The lead person was most fluent with English so a lot of communication went through him to pass on information to the rest of the team. It was unfortunate that the agreement I made with the representative over phone wasn't clear to the moving team so there were charges for things that should've been included that we had to contact main office to rectify. I was able resolve the discrepancies however I just wished it was more seamless so I didn't have to check the invoice. Overall I would recommend this moving service. It isn't having a perfect experience that matters most, but how they respond when something isn't perfect and make it right that gives me more faith in them. read more

This is by far the best movers I have had. Everything from scheduling to loading/unloading was fantastic. Crystal did an excellent job in scheduling and communication and follow up. I had already scheduled for cleaning with another person but when I saw how good of job 680 movers did on cleaning, I called off the other cleaning. I feel bad for not remembering the name of the head dude, but they had their work cut out for them in moving us from Blackhawk to the Oakland Hills. We used this company last week. It was a three man crew. Adrian, Jamie, Jossiel (not sure of spelling) showed up on time and were ready to work. They were friendly, super efficient and got the job done quickly. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again. Had a really difficult time with this moving company. I will say the movers who did the work were awesome and did a great job packing up our garage and delivering our stuff to storage. The setup and execution from the office was difficult. We had a deadline on getting things out of the house we sold and I made it very clear we needed to move things out on Sunday. I asked for an early start time because we had an hour drive to our new place. I was told this was the only time slot available. Movers came a half hour after our given window. At that point it was already 6:30pm and there was probably about 5 hours of work to do. We had to push for the following day to finish. We were told they would be back the next day by 6:00 am. Again, they didn't come until 8:00. No one from the office communicated any of this. We were forced to take a day off work to deal with this. Like I said, the guys did a great job but the whole ordeal was super stressful. read more
