Wow, horrible service! Movers Don't show up for a confirmed appointment or even call. After calling to see when the movers would arrive, we were told they don't have personnel available. 6 hours later they show up and tell us they won't be able to move everything in a timely manner and will have to store our belongings for another day and cost us a day and half of our time. Customer service contact was extremely unsympathetic and and acted like he was the customer. I guess business must be booming because they definitely don't know what customer service means. By far the best movers I've ever used. JC and crew arrived on time. They were so on time I was still unhooking cables from TVs and routers. They quickly asked to be shown what items to move and got to work. Once we arrived at the new house everything was unloaded so quickly it was unbelievable, and there was 0 damage to anything. We even pulled the one thing I swore I'd never do, "we changed our mind could you move this over there." Everyone hates moving. 680 Movers, fortunately, does not hate moving. Cirilo and his crew were a topnotch moving company. I originally found them through an advertisement on CraigsList and they were very quick to respond to me. I contacted them about a week before my target move date and they were more than willing to fit me into their busy schedule. The crew at 680 Movers was very pleasant with customer service being an obvious priority for them. Cirilo had mentioned to me that he used to be in the hotel industry, so I appreciated his customer-friendly attitude and demeanor. His crew was very kind and courteous, and very hard working. They made excellent use of time, as if they were on a time limit. All too often I find that some moving companies who get paid by the hour drag their feet to get the most out of their unsuspecting customers, but 680 Movers did nothing of the sort. I almost felt bad that I had so much stuff for them to move. The only time they stopped was when I asked them to stop to eat (my wife and I always feed our movers as an extra thank you). They packed me, disassembled my furniture, reassembled my furniture, and moved me to my new home. No tears, scratches, dents, or bruises. They took really good care of my household goods as if it were their own. They wrapped everything, padded everything, and gave extra-special attention to everything. What more could I have asked for? I really have no complaints. I usually have many complaints about movers, but would never do it (again) myself. I used to be in the military, so I moved around quite a bit and have used a few different moving companies. This was, by far, the best and easiest move that I've ever done. I've recommended them to several people who I know were moving locally in the Bay Area, and they have had good experiences with 680 Movers as well. I couldn't be happier and thankful I found 680movers!! We just recently moved from out tri-level townhouse to new home, and I was so amazed by the entire moving crew - Boris and his crew, how professional they were throughout the moving. It was a Friday morning, 8:30am, they showed up on time, all wearing uniform, Boris and his crew carefully walked through the entire house and went through every single piece of furniture & boxes & loose items in the house with me. They then covered my stairways and floors to protect my hardwood flooring &tiles. They carefully wrapped every single piece of my furniture with blankets and shrink wrap. Boris and his crew were flying up and down the stairs (almost 4 stories high including garage) in almost lighting speed, and they didn't even take a single minute of break nor lunch break throughout the whole day. They then head straight to my new home, again cover flooring to protect hardwood floor & stairs, and they non-stop unloaded everything from the truck directly to my home,( they don't let your boxes sit on the driveway under the sun for hours). They then carefully unwrap furniture and boxes. They took shorter time than estimated to complete the entire job, an excellent job I have to say. The price was reasonable, they also honored the 10%off yelp discount. I would definitely recommend this company (if I can specify which mover crew, I would strongly recommend Boris and his crew) again to any of my friend or family who is looking for moving company! read more

We chose to use 680 movers to help with our move. Between working and having 2 little kids it was a huge help. Danny, Miguel and Antonio all helped more than we could have expected. I found 680 movers on yelp and chose them to move our belongings from one house to another based on how helpful Crystal was setting everything up. We used 680 movers to pack, move most of our belongings, do a clean up move (pack/move in one day) and finally, move the staging furniture from the old house to the new hours. That's four times in the last few months -- talk about repeat business! Their a la carte pricing allowed us to move in stages which was very helpful since we only moved 6 miles away. Danny and his crew were excellent (twice!). They took good care of our belongings and wanted to make sure everything was in the right places -- both furniture and boxes. I called and arranged for this company to come to my house for an estimate three weeks ago. The person that was sent out barely spoke intelligible english and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. He didn't seem to want to spend much time and pretty much skimmed over what I had. I booked 680 movers back in July for our move in August to move us out of Archstone Walnut Creek apartments. I was quickly contacted by owner, Cirilo, to set up the move. I immediately felt like I was going to be taken good care of and appreciated his very thorough questions. The moving crew, headed by his operations manager, J.C., arrived promptly at 8:30am (3 man crew) and began to quickly clear out our two bedroom apartment. I was impressed with how carefully they treated our furniture and items. They were very helpful and continuously offered to take other last minute items we were packing. Lets face it, moving is stressful, but having these guys there to help with the process truly relieved much of the worries that we had about the process. The crew was friendly and professional. They followed instructions to the letter. The size of the truck necessary was under estimated and two trips were required to get all of the items. All of our furniture was carefully, wrapped with blankets and plastic moving wrap, then taped. Now that we've completely unpacked and assessed the items, I can say that not one scratch was noted on anything. What a completely superb job. Just moved from Concord to Pittsburg, 680 movers showed up on time, did a great job until the truck was full. oops, they brought to small of a truck. So we had to do two trips, took all day. Upon posting the initial review, the company became VERY interested in making sure I was satisfied. They refunded an hour of my charges and covered the cost of remove the dent in my refer. I wish they would have been as diligent in ensuring my satisfaction prior to the review but I'm extremely satisfied that it was taken care of. I really appreciate their effort to do so. We used 680 movers because of a referral by a co-worker who had recently used them and had a great experience. I did have issues getting a response at first but I am glad I was persistent and did not look start looking for a different moving company. I do have to say that I would have had it been had it not been for the great experience had by my co-worker. We scheduled the move for May 17th and was told they would arrive between 8-9. The team that showed up were right on time. We had the pleasure of meeting Danny and his team of very hard and fast working men. All of whom were friendly, professional, very helpful and so great to work with. They made the move so easy and stress free for us. We could not have asked for a better experience. They completed the job of moving my 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house plus backyard furniture in just over 5hrs. The price they quoted me was the price they charged. No surprises. I did not remember at all about the referral discount they told me about on the phone but Danny reminded me which I appreciated as well. Honest people are hard to come by. I called at 5:30 to confirm, and we told that the woman who set the appt up would get back to me. I said I was simply trying to see if they are coming or not. I've never hired movers before, but after my experience with 680 movers I will every time! They were professional, courteous and most of all trustworthy. We had a small one bedroom apartment moved and it cost around $530. They have a 3/hr minimum which I was told that we would probably be close to. However, our job took about 5 hours. The guys worked extremely hard though so I had no problem paying them what they clearly deserved. They wrapped all of our fragile items and handled everything with precision. Where do I begin? I guess I'll start with the first phone call. I called on a Sunday after they already closed and low and behold someone answered! I spoke with Crystal and from the first conversation I knew we found the right place. She is super nice and extremely professional. She gave all the details I needed and was excellent in following up. We were moving to a city that went past their listed area so I wasn't expecting them to even say they would move us but they said yes. It just gets better and better. But wait, there's more! The actual move... This is our first time using movers. We were used to moving ourselves but thought to treat ourselves this go round. Adrien called at 9am and said they would be there at 9:30 and they were there at 9:30 on the dot. They came in with great attitudes and ready to work. We included their packing service option because we had way too much stuff and way too little interest in packing it. Hubby and I packed our clothes and bathroom but needed help everywhere else, especially the kitchen. Danny came into the kitchen and packed it better than I ever could. They even secured the boxes we packed with their tape to make sure nothing fell out. They packed and moved things with ease. They got our absurdly heavy couch and full size treadmill out with no issues. Amazing. They even showed me items that had damage on them as they were moving to show it was already there. Our loving dog had already left his mark so we knew the movers weren't responsible. Just shows their honesty and level of detail. They got to our new place quickly and carried everything up the stairs, set up our bed, TVs and exercise equipment super fast. They even rolled out the red carpet to walk on to keep our carpet clean. We have ALOT of stuff so we knew it would take a while so we bought them lunch. The entire packing and moving took 9 hours including the 45 min drive to our new place. Incredible. It would've taken us twice as long just to pack! I will never go back to moving ourselves and will always call 680 Movers to move us...even if it's just next door. I did the worst thing ever for my move: schlep most of my small things myself. The 680 Movers would have done it better. I did have 680 Movers move the big things (couch, bed, dresser, etc) from my one apartment to another, and they (Alan and Daniel) were super professional, got everything done in a timely manner and without a scratch on anything. They also were great about helping me move around items in my house so that they would fit perfectly, which is a feat in itself when one is dealing with someone (like me) who has a LOT of stuff. Would I recommend them? Totally. I also move a lot, generally once every 1.5-3 years. So the question is, would I use them again? Yes. In a heartbeat. They only loss one star because they forgot to bring a screwdriver (No problem as I had one in the car), and they left an item behind (a printer, but I picked it up when I checked the old apartment. Worst moving company ever! I called and scheduled my move for Monday. They put me on the schedule for Tuesday! They said I could get squeezed into the schedule for Monday with a window of arrival between 2p and 5p. I was told I could call at noon to get a more accurate time. I called at noon and no one answered. I left a message. I called again at 12:30p and still no answer and no return call! I finally reached someone at 1p who said she would call the driver and ask him to call. I never received a call. When I called again at 1:30p I was told that they are really busy and since they squeezed me in I will have to wait. I ended up cancelling and hiring movers myself. 680 Movers are very unprofessional and the scheduler seems to be the only person working and she was very short and disrespectful.
