At one point, we noticed the line going nearly outside the door--although it is a small location, so at least it moved relatively quickly. My order came fairly quick for the amount of people. However, my friend's order had a longer wait time despite being the same drink with only the milk substituted. We eventually asked the staff if the order was still coming through--they were very sweet, apologized for the wait, and quickly prepared the order. Unsure if maybe the order got lost in the shuffle, or perhaps someone else accidentally grabbed it, but it was nice that they quickly resolved the issue once it became known to them. The drink was okay, which I was fine with because the main appeal was supposed to be the Halloween-themed design. I realized too late that my drink didn't come with the chocolate syrup drizzled on top that others' did, which was unfortunate. The cafe was beautifully decorated, and it's clear that there was a lot of thought and heart put into the design. The shop was also nice to check out, with a great collection of items with a nice mission and message behind each product. However, it is a bit tight to go through the aisles when it is busy. I hope to visit again during a less crowded time to check out other seasonal treats they may have in the future!

They have a huge selection of drinks, all based on their freshly made sugarcane juice. I just got the classic juice since it was my first time trying sugarcane, but I'll definitely be back to sample some of the other fruity combos. It was delightful -- not too sweet, with notes of honey and an almost floral-like flavor. At $7 a cup, it was definitely pricey, but pretty reasonable for the area as I've also seen plenty of cafes and boba shops charge similar prices for lower quality drinks. The staff was super friendly, and I love that they had one of their juicing machines right next to the register. It was really fun to watch them work, and the machine spit out all the extra sugar cane skins / peelings into a giant wooden bucket that you could take from. The sugarcane had a great aroma, and the peelings are a fun way to keep kids entertained.

Ordering is convenient -- you can use the iPads or place your order at the counter. They also have a cute dine-in area if you want to stay, or you can grab your drink to go. A friend had their breakfast sandwich, which had a rustic and delightful tang from the inclusion of sourdough in the biscuit batter that paired well with the thick slab of egg and crispy bacon. Friends I came in with who got their coffee said that it was very delicious, and the baristas can make a beautiful frothy and rich matcha latte. Its both parts technical skills to pull coffee or whisk matcha and sourcing of high-quality ingredients.
