Now I wasn't going to visit another state and not visit a 7-Eleven being that I am a regular; I…read moremean come on! Especially if I have one within a decent range of my hotel that I searched out prior to traveling. I made it my sole purpose to make it part of my run route; dropping in solely to pick up a Gatorade plus see what it offers. It is shared with a Exxon Mobil gas station which gives it an advantage over any other gas station let alone a solo 7-Eleven in my honest opinion. This location was amazing in comparison to others that I have visited where I reside. It is clean, and well stocked with fresh food not just in the cooler, but in the warmer as well! Certainly a 5-star in my book, and I assure you I have visited locations that have made me cringe due to what and what not was presented. The majority with an inadequate lackluster supply of food items presented which gives a regular visitor like myself an easy gauge of whether or not it is worth a damn. Other than its cleanliness, and it being well stocked with fresh food I could not help but notice the low gas prices posted; gas prices that I can only yearn for. The employees at this location were very friendly and sociable with every customer they encountered even I, which was almost as though they just had started a new work shift. I enjoyed the interaction because it made a mid-western resident like myself feel very welcome which seems hit-or-miss at some that I have visited in the mid-west. Now if this is what 7-Eleven locations are like in Dallas, let alone in Texas then I hope to visit them every time I visit. ~Blessings~ Thomas G

A really cool pay-for-air tire station that makes it easy to properly inflate your tires. The staff were very friendly and helpful as I purchased gas, hot dog and a lottery ticket. But wait! A great review was ruined as not having mustard for the hot dogs when they had it on the shelf to sell; that is almost unforgivable.

On the upside, as the building was being re-staffed, so was this little cafeteria. They stock it with the simple items for a small cafeteria and now they are starting to carry things for the gluten free, vegetarian, and some other special needs food related groups. I like that! They are very attentive, and polite. The place is clean. They also do catering, but you have to get them to email you their menu. Here is the address to ask for a menu: Bistro400@gmail.com They have sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot lunches. I've tried their chicken and mexican dishes, not bad. I really like they are trying and are listening to the customer's needs, it's a big plus in my book. Keep up the great work!

The place is called the Bistro not Boondoggles. The owners are cheap and will nickel and dime you for everything. They don't change the oil often. You can always tell when they dont change their grease because it smells bad on the whole first floor. You can also tell by walking in there for one second and walking out smelling grease all day. The smells sticks with you. I hate coming in here and I have stopped coming in because I don't want to smell like grease for the whole day. It makes me want to throw up. Their menu is ridiculous. They are trying way too hard to attract customers by exaggerating everything they offer. "freshly cracked eggs" "freshly made omelet" that doesnt sound convincing to me. Just say fresh eggs, we get it. Their dishes are all made up of left over ingredients. They try too hard to make it healthy by throwing in veggies in dishes that don't need to have veggies. Stir fry chicken pasta is not even any culinary dish. It's made up of thawed out frozen veggies, stir fried with chicken and they throw in alfredo sauce with pasta. Have you ever had chicken alfredo with carrots and broccoli? No, that is not how the dish is suppose to be. So gross! Cereal and milk is $4 because they don't give you free milk for your cereal like some places. They charge a fifty cents fee if your amount is under $3 on the card but they don't tell you that. The sign is also very small near the register. I have stopped coming in and rather go out for lunch. Portions are inconsistent. If you order meat with your biscuit and gravy, they usually give you two piece of sausages or bacon. But if you order turkey bacon, you only get one strip. I asked why I only got one strip and the owner told me because it cost more.

As all distance runners can attest, Mother Nature can tend to call in some pretty serious ways when you're, say, 3ish miles into a long run with nothing but locked office parks as far as the eye can see. Add on a thirsty pooch, and you could consider it the makings of 'the perfect storm'. This particular 7-Eleven has saved me on more than one such occasion. Don't misunderstand, I hate leaving Charlie Chan tied to the pay phone around the side (do any non-drug dealers use pay phones anymore anyway?), but if I'm desperate enough to use a gas station toilet, it's going to be as fast as humanly possible. But much to my pleasant surprise, I 1. didn't have to fill my lungs while rushing in and hold my breath while using said bathroom and 2. didn't see traces of previous bathroom users everywhere! A++! The staff was even nice enough to give me a cup of tap water for poor Charlie who was mad about being alone and thirsty. Thanks to this great spot, the subsequent miles were much more enjoyable - for both of us. I should add that as I made my B-line for the RR, I found the rest of the store quite clean and packed with all kinds of goodies including, but not limited to, flavor buttons on the drink machine (ie, cherry, vanilla, etc), baked goods, and the typical American junk foods en mass.
