If you live in Mid-City or Arlington Heights, make this your 7-Eleven as there is only one employee here that is ever rude. The employees here are fast, friendly and really helpful. There is a bit of a neighborhood loose vibe here but I love it. I come every day. The 7-E on Venice can be a bit too rough at times and customers there are often wild and drunk. The 7-Eleven on Washington is full of rude employees who sometimes start off sweet but are unmanaged do they feel they have permission to be A-holes to the public. I burned myself at that other 7-Eleven because they refuse to put hot coffee anywhere NEAR the lids and sleeves. 7-Eleven corporate gave me $500 for my burns but the manager won't make conditions safe for the public. That would NEVER happen at this store. The employees are extremely smart. I see a whole line of 1 star reviews talking about a black female employee. These reviews are definitely fake. She is excellent. She has a big personality but she is a pro down the line. If she spoke up to anyone, they were out of line. I've witnessed her under all conditions. Once I even saw her jump over the counter to give someone keys they forgot! Here the employees sing out loud while they work but they DO know how to treat people with respect and kindness. I was racially profile and wrongly accused for stealing candy after I literally spent less than a min when I was purchasing a soda. Checked the cameras, I was cleared but the damage has been done. I was just so appalled by the treatment for over "candy" that I in fact didn't steal. I was pulled out of line in front of the customers, talked down to and he was being sarcastic during the whole ordeal. Saying if I did take it, that he would pay for me and also claimed that there was theft earlier in the store which prompted him to do so. And I don't understand what that has to do with anything besides how to treat customers overall regardless what occurred before. Bcause all it takes to wrongly accuse someone and ruin am experience for customers over a piece of candy. Regardless of the previous incidents. It goes to show that customer service is none existent and willing to accuse a customer over candy. I will ensure my friends and family are aware, because I still can't understand why I was singled out besides the color of my skin. My kids go here ALL the time. I have gone in a few time and the staff have always greeted me and have a smile. I recently went in with my kids and the clerk complimented me on how great my kids were. He says that they always say hello and thank him. He said they are great kids. It made me feel good. I know we raised them well, but you always wondered what are they really doing when you aren't around. Lol. This location is clean and organized. Ty his is L.A., so homelessness is a fixture at most stores. Though I have seen homeless people outside they have never harrassed me for food or money. I been to this particular 7/11 a few times and the few times I've been there it's a black woman who works behind the counter with and entitled nasty attitude. I don't know how long she been working there but I don't appreciate the way she handles guest. I guess she feels the need to treat people a certain way cause she's ready to leave her shift. I order and paid for a slurped and 2 freshly made slices of pizza which she did, but complaining the whole time talking to someone else, as I stood there waiting, I browsed the store and I grabbed a bag of chips to eat and went to the counter to pay for it. She dropped a slice of pizza on the counter then tried to sneak it I my pizza box like I didn't see that!! And then I called her out on that and she pretended like she didn't realized!! She took it out of the box and threw it inside the food warmer with the other slices. Fucking nasty!! Then the owner/ manager (not sure which position) was trying to charge me with what I already paid for. The slurpee. After that lady and I told him and I showed my receipt to prove that I just paid for this 5 minutes ago. He saw what she did and said nothing, didn't care, he wouldn't even look me in the eye. Both were unprofessional and unsanitary place of business. For that woman, I saw her frustration of being at the job and she made it apparent, a woman who doesn't know how to separate her emotions from her job, I was polite to her I said thank you for going out of your way to make a new pizza for me. Then she try's and sneak a slice of pizza that had been dropped on the counter into my pizza box, that's disrespectful, flat out nasty, someone who should not be handling someones food. She foul. Staff are always super cool and I've never had any problems with anyone in the parking lot area. Clean location. Never used the restroom here. For those that say it's sketch, it's a local 7-11 in a major metropolitan city. Know where you are going in any major city in the U.S. and you'll be fine. It's also not a super lit up spot because their ain't anything going on in that area late at night. Just look around the world we live in or just look around LA. Entire families being evicted and living on the street. Vets protesting at the federal building on wilshire because they can't get their PTSD meds filled or because they end up homeless because the lack of jobs for the elderly. And more and more people on the streets due to all the new gentrification in the city. FYI: I live down the street from this 7-11. Never had any problem whatsoever. read more

Do not shop hear and I repeat do not shop hear. 7-eleven does not care about disabled people as time and time again their delivery drivers park in the handicap spots. I am disabled have the blue sign that hangs from the rear view mirror. I took photos of the truck and was yelled at by the drivers and then said well were should we have parked. They are supposed to park in the middle of the lot so they don't take up a whole row of parking spaces including the handicap space. They also allow homeless people to pan handle and when you say no to the pan handlers they harass you read more

This 7 eleven sucks. though some of the clerks are friendly, not all of them are and now my BIGGEST gripe with them. They never have their coffee island is good order. First they barely make the coffee, the few pots they do have there are usually low. They also dont keep the bar area clean. there are always sugar crumbs, spilled liquid and low product. Good luck trying to find some creamer and what not. Save time and head west to the one right past fairfax on pico or the one on san vicente and hauser. read more

I will always go here because unfortunately it's the closest one nearby my home. Be aware of beggars and homeless that will ask you for cash when they see an opportunity. The lady clerk is nice, the guy clerk not so much. Everything is a bit overpriced but thats ok. A good time to visit this place is around 9AM-11AM. read more

The staff is terrible. They allow people to linger around the inside that are not staff. I seen one of the employees get high behind a black fence with a friend who wasn't an employee, and NO I'm not talking about marijuana either. Right before she proceeded to go back inside and yell out random tantrums for no apparent reason. Was very rude by the way when I went to buy my drink. It stinks very bad outside, and have seen people actually sleeping right outside next to the door. I don't recommend anyone to stop at this location untill they find new management. I went there yesterday around 9am with my boyfriend and it was pretty sketchy side of town the only reason for the 5 stars was because of the female employee, she was so awesome! Best customer service ever! she was nice and made us aware of the food deals, she had a great attitude and was very attentive on what we needed, she treated everyone with respect and was very helpful, her male coworker could learn a thing or two from her. read more
