Also grabbed a Cuban sandwich which had a ton of meat and my husband really enjoyed. Staff were helpful and friendly. They had a variety of fresh heat and serve meals. I regret I didn't grab the fish dip while there since I never ended up trying on this trip.

Inside the store is clean. Restrooms are clean. They usually have prices (for gas) a bit less than the 3 Circle K's in Key Largo. Employees inside the store are always friendly. Good place to stop to fill up the car and grab some snacks!

My kids wanted snacks for the drive back and one had to use the bathroom. First off inside the store we were looking around the isles and some weird guy who I thought was a customer was standing at the end looking like he was serving himself some of the nasty looking food that had obviously been sitting out too long. So we head over to the counter to pay where the snaggle-toothed old lady running the register hardly greeted us with an acknowledgement, the weird guy walks behind the counter yet because obviously now he works there and was scoping us out like we were going to steal something. So then I ask if they have a restroom and with a nasty attitude she directs me outside to the most fouls and despicable bathroom I've ever seen or smelled. If my son didn't have to go to the bathroom so bad I would have just had him hold it but I figured he can stand and I told him to wash his hands really good when he's done. So he comes out and said the water doesn't work. WTF!!!! Long story short, if you come upon this has station keep driving! There were a lot more just a ways down the road. I feel so awful that I let my child use the restroom here. I think I'll need to take him for a tetanus shot after this. UGH!

I didn't go inside since I only needed gas and the pump gave me my receipt - I guess some have had much different experiences and in my opinion all reviews are a snapshot of a particular visit but most of the negative reviews seem pretty petty but I'm sure it was devastating if they didn't have a bottle of pop or cup of coffee or if a pastry was stale mid-afternoon. Thankfully there are other options so one doesn't have put up with the perceived malfeasance that runs rampant here...

You never have to back up, maneuver or anything. The credit card machines at the pumps work. They have diesel. The convenient store is not huge, but it gets the job done. I love this place!

I pulled in here out of necessity, the low fuel light had been on for quite awhile and not knowing the area I made a decision. Once I pulled up to the 1st pump that was free I realized it was out of order so after waving a few desperate drivers around I managed to get a spot. Unlocked the fuel door, unscrewed the tank's cap, swiped the card and pulled the trigger and the dribble began - this pump was slow really slow and with the number of pumps out of order my mind immediately went to the bad place - Am I pumping from the bottom of the tank where all the trash and water remains or is it just poorly maintained equipment and the fricking filter is plugged no matter I proceeded and it took forever and I noticed everyone pumping gas was there for an extended amount of time. I was amazed that the pay at the pump worked as did the receipt dispenser so thankfully I didn't have any reason to go inside, after the experience at the pump I doubt the staff could have changed my opinion of this place so I'm going to stick with it was disappointing...

The first time we stopped, I needed change to pay for air. The place was really busy and I was in line for several minutes just to get change for a dollar. People were buying food, chicken, potatoes, etc. and it seemed really popular. There were picnic tables outside and everyone seemed really friendly. I was mostly annoyed to stand there waiting just to get change. Thankfully we made a habit of holding onto quarters the rest of the trip so we could get in quickly for the air the tire needed. I can't remember how much the air was. Seems like we typically paid $1.75 which I think is ridiculous, but whatever, not like we had a lot of options.
