I was on the way to the mall when I had this sudden urge for one of those taquito rolls they sell. Luckily, this was in on the way. Talk about convenient! I came through and thought might as well get something to wash it all down. Grabbed a Gatorade, walked up front and started taking my pick on which one(s) to get. They had 3 different kinds available at the time, and at $3.49/3, I might as well try all of them. In the middle of all that, I can hear the cashier greeting all customers coming in as well as well-wishes for those walking out. I also heard her talking to a customer paying about downloading the app. (My immediate thought was, "They have an app?!?" Followed with, "Who doesn't, nowadays?!") Anyway! She convinced me to download it because everything I buy for that day will be discounted. So, I did, because YAY FOR DISCOUNTS!!! (It was worth it, for sure.) Typical of most 7-Elevens I've been to. They pretty much carry the same products. The up here is how friendly the cashier is. She's the reason for the extra star. Taquitos/Rolls were as expected, but it truly hit the spot for satisfying that urge. I swear, my palate has bizarre moods sometimes... Good first run. There will be others. read more

I can't write a review about the food here, but the service and ambiance is fine and just like any other 7 Eleven.

I went here for a water and the employee greeted me as if they were annoyed I walked in and once I grabbed my water the employee shouted rudely that they were closed 2-3min after watching me walk in to the grab a water even though the hours say they are open 24/7 and the the doors were open and the open sign was on. The rude employee followed me out of the store and immediately locked the door behind me! AGAIN THE STORE WAS STILL OPEN . I did nothing aside from walk-in and go and grab a water all to be treated so poorly. I even apologized for not realizing that they were "supposedly" closed, just for me to find out that they were still open. This is not the first encounter I've had with rude employees at this 7-Eleven and I try to keep giving it a chance, but it gets no better. I highly suggest not going to this establishment. read more

One of my many pit stops in the North Torrance area. I come here to get their giant cans of iced tea, and lotto tickets whenever I'm feeling lucky. The staff here knows me well, as I've stopped by to chat with them, as well as all the other regulars. Torrance PD stops by here often, and the surrounding neighborhood is pretty safe, so you don't have to worry about anything crazy going down. I've run into countless people that I've known since grade school, adding a bit of nostalgia while I run my errands. Things have gotten better since my last review. I simply don't go at night and as a result, I haven't had any problems since then. George, as always, alongside Karla, continues to provide exceptional service with personal touches. I feel like I generalized too broadly before when I explained that all their new hires needed to be trained. Though my problems did occur solely from new hires (no longer new), it definitely wasn't a display of "all" new hires. Jen was around during my last review; she never did give me any problems and it wasn't my intention to generalize her into my complaints as well. I still warn folks to be careful when purchasing deals from the night staff and make sure you're not being overcharged. It's less of an issue for me personally because I no longer utilize those deals but I can't say for certain that the previous issues have since been fixed. read more

Typically I visit a different location closer to my house but the hours recently changed so for a late night run for a drink I stopped by this location. A bald man had left told me my ID wasn't working and wouldn't scan. After my transaction I watched another customer buy alcohol without an issue so i knew the machine was not broken. I drove to a different 7-Eleven where my ID was accepted and scanned without an issue. So I figure that balding man just decided my ID was fake and just handed it back to me instead of doing any further investigation. Its really disappointing since I'm a short person that I would have to be put in the situation to defend my ID as legitimate will not be returning and will be complaining to management and corporate. read more

I have been to many 7-Eleven's in my lifetime but nothing compares to the exquisite selection of amazing coffee that is freshly brewed every morning!!! This place is very clean and no hassle crowd everyone is respectful and has manners here. not them any transients as well. I don't go to this location all that often because there is a closer one to my house, but I've never experienced a problem here. Employees are friendly and take care of transactions quickly, so there's hardly ever a line. If there is a line, you're never left waiting that long. The only thing that kind of concerns me sometimes is that more often than not, there's homeless people that beg right outside the door. They either bombard you over and over for money or just stare you down, which is a little unnerving. So usually, if there's a creepy homeless person, I choose not to go in and just go elsewhere. But other than that, I do like this 7-Eleven. read more

Did nothing but stand outside and messed around.. man those were the days* Still the same people working at this branch. Great place to be. I've never had an issue at this location except for today. I went in for a hot dog and the young lady was trying to sell me a dumpling instead which I said no thank you but she kept on pushing and told me that there was a competition going on and she needed to sell them. This girl even had the nerve to tell me that the dumplings were healthier for me but I don't recall asking her for her nutritional advice. This girl was definitely out of her league and should have just understood what no meant instead of pushing the issue further. She definitely needs some customer service training if she's planning to work the counter. All of us should be able to walk into a convenient store without being pushed into buying something you don't want and being told nutritional advice when its not needed. read more

This is honestly the best 7eleven I've ever been too. Not only is it the closest one to my house, but I feel safe here because it is right across the street from the Torrance Police station. They just had a remodel so everything is pretty much brand new and they do a good job at keeping everything clean. I probably visit this location 1-2 times a month and I always strike up a conversation with the workers here. They're very friendly and personable. read more

Scam ATM! Tried pulling out $400 the Citibank ATM said "transaction cancelled, call card provider" called my bank to see what's up and they said the money pulled out of my account....go back to 7-11 to call the number on the ATM and the number doesn't even work!!!!! Tried asking employees and they said "come back tomorrow at 11 to talk to the manager" seriously!? Am I supposed to take off work to go talk to him?? This 7-11 location is down the street from my home. I've been coming here for years. It's pretty much your basic 7-11, the people that work here are always friendly and remember your name. If you have a kinecta federal Credit Union bank account then your atm services are free. Overall this is my favorite 7-11. read more

Best 7-11 in our area, we frequent this place at night for snacks and drinks. The staff is always friendly, no matter the time of day. Horrible customer service here. Went here 10/18/18 and the shirt dark old Asian guy and short dark skinned lady wearing a headband wouldn't help me out. Asked for 10 beef tacos and when I wanted fresh they tried to give me the old ones in the front saying we make it 10 min before. All I know is the one in the front are not fresh. Then asked for a chicken sandwich the old guy says what no we don't have it so Rudely. Then when I first Walked in the guy was so rude and the Indian shirt girl doing the stocks in this night would bluntly ignore me and not even say hello welcome. These two workers always have an attitude problem like they don't wanna work here. Management should really do something. I have been coming since 6 years here and not once have I ever had to right a bad review. Is these too don't wanna work they should go home.
