The free drink comes in a small "upsize" cup now? since when? Everytime i've ordered a free drink in the past, the "upsize" was always the larger cup. As you can see on the sticker, they both say "up", which means upsize. therefore the cup size should be the same on both drinks but the one that i claimed for free with the points was the oolong milk tea and it came in a small cup. I recently moved into the area and had no idea there was a 7 Leaves nearby, so the revamp was great timing! So far I've gotten the Thai tea, green Thai tea and the sea cream Jasmine tea and they've all been great. The sweetness is just how I like it and the boba and custard pudding are yummy as well. The interior is very spacious and clean, definitely a good spot to study or chill. The workers are also very nice and service is quick! read more

The service here is EXCEPTIONAL. I feel like anytime I come to this specific location... I'm never ever disappointed. The workers here are SO nice! I came to study here once and the worker gave me an extra free drink on the house. I also came about two weeks ago and they gave me free drinks. Stopped by to grab some drinks after a short day of work! Just wanna give a shout out to the girl with the butterfly tattoo cause she was super sweet. I don't normally go to 7 Leaves, so I wasn't sure how to redeem my points, but she helped me out a lot. I ordered four drinks and three macaroons. Unfortunately, they were out of vanilla and chocolate, but the ones I got were still really good. A little on the sweeter side, but I love how soft the shells are. Hearing these accusations left me shocked because at no point were either my parents or I rude. We simply moved from the speaker to the window because they couldn't hear us. When we received our Ham and Brie, they were completely burned and had no cheese. Noticing what they had served us, I got out of the truck and went to the establishment, where the manager, very rude, raised her voice at me. I was confused and could swear she had me confused with someone else. I didn't understand why she was accusing me of being disrespectful, and I still don't. Saw on facebook people raving about 7 Leaves, so I wanted to try it. It was nice they had a drive thru, which is very convenient. Otherwise, the place itself looks very bright and airy. Lots of natural light and looks clean. Good for studying perhaps. The menu consists of milk teas, coffees and small desserts. I ordered the following: Rose Macaroon: Small and delicious. I would get it again if I am craving a sweet dessert. Taro Milk Tea: Unfortunately the water in the tea tasted off and overall it was watered down. I wouldn't order it again. The service here is amazing, I went in today while doing a door dash. And as soon as I walked in Amy acknowledged me. As I waited for the order 1 min at the most. I asked her what she recommends as I always come to this location and have never tried it. She recommended the strawberry hibiscus tea it was really refreshing and tasty, me and my wife enjoyed it. I love 7 leaves!! You can really taste the quality of the tea and coffee. My favorites are the sea cream black coffee, assam milk tea, and summer mint. For coffee, the sea cream black coffee is the perfect sweetness level, and it's so creamy and smooth. I recommend this over the house coffee if you don't like coffee that is too sweet. The house coffee is also good; it's creamy and smooth like the sea cream black coffee, but sweeter. For milk tea, the assam milk tea is so good! I like that I can taste the tea and it's not overly sweet. You can taste the great quality of the tea they use. For something refreshing, the summer mint is amazing! It's a mix of passion fruit and green tea with hints of orange and mint. Super refreshing and not overly sweet! Anytime I'm in the area (I live in San Diego), I always make a stop at 7leaves. I ordered the house coffee with boba and Assam milk tea with boba and they were super good. House Coffee: This coffee is super good, not too sweet and very strong! I can definitely feel the caffeine jolt and I love the sea cream since it adds a little salt to counter balance the coffee. The boba is exceptional, chewy and has a taste of real honey. Assam Milk Tea: This tea is the classic boba milk tea and is extraordinary. Definitely recommend and will be trying the rest of the menu ASAP!!! Thai tea lover here. Been going to 7 leaves a lot lately lol Just sharing my review in this location. As usual. Same great service. Fast. Clean. Friendly. And their app gives rewards. I'd recommend them for sure. My only small complaint is that their boba isn't always soft and chewy. And that varies at any boba shop. I only have boba on the weekends so it's not a problem. Stopped by today a couple minutes before closing for some macarons. They have a good amount of baked items along with macarons. I get the Hibiscus iced tea and it's so good. It has a cinnamon taste to it! This store is always organized and super clean. I sometimes go inside when I want to work on some things because of its peaceful environment. It's great to see another 7 Leaves open up in the San Gabriel Valley! This time in El Monte. Took me forever to write this review, but it's very well deserved. My first visit here was back in August when they first opened and I saw a posting on Yelp that a new 7 Leaves opened up. I quickly opened up the post and had to double check to see if it was really true. Back in August they had a deal if your ordered via their app you earn double leaves (points). Really cool! No more punch cards. Basically virtual punch cards. I like how you can customize your drink from sweetness to level to the ice. This location has both a drive thru and indoor dining. Indoor dining is currently not in use due to COVID which is understandable. I got my usual House Coffee with EZ ice. Super strong coffee as always! Service is excellent! Very warm greeting. They always ask if I can get you anything else and I forget to ask if they do Black & Tan. I'll ask next time. Drinks were neatly bundled up in a bag with cardboard cup holder. Easy transport and no worry about contamination. Very sanitary! Definitely coming back again! Highly recommend! read more

Good boba store. It is one of my favorite after Tasteas. I usually ordered 35+ drinks a week at Tasteas Irvine. It does get expensive. 7Leaves in South El Monte is a good location since there is also limited competition from like Tastea or big boba brands while there are 6+ smaller family owned ones and it is a central location without having to be in Alhambra or Monterey Park. This location has a bit of a line when it comes to the drive through and the interior is always clean and air condition fresh. Simce it's in the same plaza as stores and other things, including a huge parking lot, it provides ease of access. I came here to do remote software engineering work and it's good seating with sun shades. There is also a Chase across the street, one of the best banks in the world, for easy ATM access to money to spend here at 7Leaves. South El Monte has a budding and blooming scene for Taiwanese boba, Vietnamese foods, Thai foods and drinks, and even more. read more

First of all, I come here quite often, especially because it's not far from where I live, sometimes it's my last resort place if I'm craving something sweet and the other stores are about to close as well. However, the last few times I've came here they really be skimping out on your drink. I have read through the reviews to see if I'm the only one that has dealt with this issue and I've seen a few reviews already that mentions that they're very inconsistent with filling up your drink that you paid for. I actually held the drink up and stared at the first drink the guy handed to me in front of him to give him a chance to say something, but he proceeded to hand me the other drink. I know people can argue that "oh why didn't you say something then?" But it's kind of like... I also work at a boba shop, a super super busy one at that, and literally even when we're slammed we KNOW that customers would feel a certain way if there's a big visible gap at the top of the cup, and I did give him a chance to notice that I was like "..." about it. I would personally feel awkward to hand that to a customer in the first place lol. And the fact that I ordered two different sized drinks and they both aren't filled to the top. Tryna keep returning customers should honestly be one of the biggest priorities, it's how you keep a business running, but I'm sure the workers don't gaf, after all it is just a boba place. read more

Through the month of August, the 7 Leaves app doubles your rewards points if you go to the new El Monte location. I live about equidistant to this location and the Rowland Heights one so I have their new one a try. It's a little tricky getting to the drive thru, but there's plenty of parking so once we're past this pandemic, it'll be an easy spot to grab boba with friends. It's a new location so I didn't expect my drink to come out as good as the Rowland location, but they mostly exceeded my expectations. My Japanese matcha soy was as creamy and refreshing as ever, but my boba was a little soggy. This is likely due to the new location trying to figure out how much to have ready per shift so I'm sure once they find their stride this won't happen. Drink was still completely enjoyable and perfect for this hot night. The staff here was very friendly and spent a solid minute trying to scan my phone to get my rewards processed (which is rare!) so much love to them. 7 Leaves staffers are always helpful, but these folks went the extra mile. For now, they're debit or credit only. And when you go at night, it can look like they closed early (because customers can't go inside), but they're not (lol).
