It's a very hot day. A glass of cold lemon mint refresher from 7 leaves after a hot and spicy Korean food is a really good idea. It's refreshing, not too sweet. Service fast. The place is very modern and hub for young people. thumbs up.
Ordered the drink through the app, super convenient! Order was prepared quickly and ready by the time we arrived in a few minutes. Fresh taro drink is the best! Loved the crystal boba and honey boba combination. Definitely recommend trying it.
On our way back from Newport we were in need of coffee and found this place on a whim and I'm really glad we did. It was around 8:30 pm when we found it which is located in a very very busy shopping plaza. Parking took a few min to find but once we did smooth sailing from there. Inside was nice and clean, had tables to sit at. There was no line so we ordered quickly and staff was really nice. I was amazing by the speed on which we got our drinks. No sooner that we paid, our name was already called!! I got the Thai tea and adjusted the sweetness and ice level. It was decent, a solid Thai tea and my husband got the Vietnamese coffee which he enjoyed. I wish we lived closer so we can go back often but I will be back if I'm in the area.
One of the few reliable, fast, and delicious Boba places left. I know there's a lot to choose from nowadays, and they all provide their unique perks and additions to the drinks. However, 7 leaves stays true to what I enjoy from 10 to 15 years ago, which is a simple beverage with simple toppings. The Irvine location on Alton occupies the guppy house space from a while ago. I see a lot of students studying at this location, and I can see why. It's cozy, welcoming, and simply a nice place to hang out. During my latest visit, I ordered a Matcha latte. Like I said, straightforward to the point. Nothing fancy. Quenches my thirst and my need for some sugar. The option to order on the app is also a big plus. I can usually get a drink within 5 min of ordering on the app.
I visited this location of 7 Leaves at the Diamond Jamboree late one morning while running some errands. This plaza is usually a challenge to park in but there were lots of spaces on this weekday morning. The interior is small and cramped with a handful of tables and a long window counter. I ordered a seasonal special - the Holiday House Coffee (iced) and a couple of macarons. I had to ask what flavors they had available as nothing was on display nor were the flavors posted. The kind fellow helping me took a look (in a cooler below the counter?) and let me know the 5 flavors they currently had and I picked two (vanilla and strawberry). My name was called very quickly so I picked my items up and sat at the window counter. Both macarons were very good but the strawberry one just tasted the same as the vanilla; the flavor was far too subtle. The Holiday House Coffee had a sweet cream and bits of peppermint in it. It was okay but I think it would be much better as a hot coffee drink rather than iced (my mistake!). The cup was filled to the brim with ice, leaving little room for the actual coffee plus I think a hot drink would have allowed the flavor of peppermint to blossom more. Oh well, live and learn.
Did you know that coffee spelled backwards was eeffoc? Yea..just know that I don't give eeffoc until I've had my coffee. -_- LOL Was seriously in need of a pick-me-upper today and since I was in the area lunchin' w/ my mums @ Tim Ho Wan..so, where did I go??? 7 leaves ofc. TBH, I don't particularly love this Irvine location because it's in the crazy Diamond Jamboree plaza, on the corner of Jamboree & Alton. I don't know about you, but I legit AVOID this plaza if I can. Lol. Since I was here tho, I liked how I could literally go in & out quickly and efficiently at this location. The staff was uber nice and the vibe is so chill, being alone on its corner spacious lot. It allows me to get-on with my day with a pep in my step! Shhh..I personally am usually in the mood for the off-the menu/semi-secret for those who know..you know..black & tan with grass jelly. It's a MUST TRY! #trust It's just the perfect blend of half coffee/half tea, for days when I don't wanna commit to a heavy dose of caffeine. Also depending on my need for alertness, I sometimes add an extra shot of expresso. My other favs are their House Coffee ~ for those days I NEED a stronger go get 'em kick. Its nutty, smooth taste, just hits all the right spots..if you know what I mean. And I definitely hit up my Viet Coffee when I need to get sh*t done. IYKYK..viet coffee is like liquid crack. You will be jumping the walls and knocking items off your to-do list in no time. LOL Lastly, for days when I crave tea..sea cream Jasmine tea (plus or minus boba) is where it's at!!! That good quality Jasmine tea satisfies all your boba taste buds every time. Totally not bitter tasting at all. It's the perfect sweetness too, IMO. Good drinks. It is nice that they fill the drinks to the top. Some locations don't do that. Service was good. There's indoor seating. You can hang out with friends or study inside.
This is the 7 Leaves Cafe in Diamond Jamboree. Came here on a Saturday evening around 6pm. I got the Thai Tea and a Jasmine Milk Tea. The Jasmine milk tea was a bit watered down for my taste, but it was still good. And, you can't go wrong with 7 Leaves Thai Tea. I took 1 star away because of all the students sitting inside studying... There was no seat open for actual customers who just wanted to get a cup of boba and talk. No real ambiance as it seems like they expect customers to just buy their drinks and leave.
After stuffing ourselves at BCD Tofu we needed a little afternoon pick me up and 7 Leaves delivered. The traditional Ca Phe Sua Da was the perfect buzz to keep me energized throughout the rest of the day! And it's sooo tasty. If you like your coffee extra strong, this is the place for you. It's pretty small in here so probably best to plan to take your items to go, but they are very fast.
I love me a good cup of 7 leaves. Every time I go there the drinks are very consistent. That's one of the reasons why I keep coming back because I know what to expect. I have been obsessing over their Brazilian lemonade. Which should be called Brazilian limeade. However it is delicious. And if you haven't tried it, you should. The service was good. Everybody was very helpful. One of the things I didn't like was the layout of the café. It is a smaller café with two doors and so it was just confusing on how to line up, especially when it got busy. But overall, it's still one of my favorite Boba places.
Stopped by for the first time and was impressed by the wide selection of drinks. I'm not typically a milk tea fan, but I wanted to see what this place had to offer. I ordered the Sunset Passion, while my husband chose the Taro milk tea. I was pleasantly surprised--my drink was refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. My husband enjoyed his as well and finished it quickly. We'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks. They're open late too, which is really nice.
7leaves is always reliably quick and delicious! I've tried so many of their drinks and I almost always love them. Highly recommend!
10/10 Green Thai Tea - I always ask for less sweet because this drink is insanely sweet if you don't! My usual go to and it never disappoints. 4/10 Boba- Ugh everytime I always get 7Leaves boba they suck! There were a handful of soft bobas initially drinking it but within minutes they were getting hard and dense in the middle. I need to stop asking for boba and wasting my money. 3/10 Price- $7.05 in total. Boba costs $.90. Price is high but at least you get a large sized drink.
7 Leaves is probably my go-to spot for boba! The mung bean milk tea is my fav drink of theirs, although tbh I've liked all the drinks I've tried so far! I like that they have a small menu, since I usually have a hard time making decisions when it comes to boba I always appreciate the quality of the tea and the boba at 7 Leaves! This location was clean, with plenty of seating available. I think it would be a great place for studying or maybe catching up with friends! read more

Came here after dinner. Got myself an iced special house coffee. I also got to try the mung bean drink hot. They were both yummm. I enjoyed my Vietnamese coffee. And the mung bean drink was surprising really good. What got me was that the hot drinks only come in one size. My friend had to order themselves two. It is a tea place I wouldn't mind coming back to. read more

Every table was full at 8pm on a Thursday night. They have a self service kiosk, but we opted to go to the front instead. Glad we did. We were able to try their new Brazilian lemonade. -Vietnamese coffee. Opted for this one the house coffee since it had a shot of espresso. -Brazilian lemonade. Try it. It's delicious! Lots of different drinks for every palate. Would recommend. read more
Being a chain Tea Shop, their drinks are always on point and consistent with the other locations. This is located at the Diamond Jamboree Center where it gets very busy during certain days and hours but the great thing is that it is open till midnight. There is indoor and outdoor seating available here. I usually always go for the Assam Milk Tea as it always has a good bold flavor from the tea. But to mix it up a little I had ordered the Mung Bean Milk Tea with Pudding. The Mung bean has a nice gritty texture to it which I like and it also an even creamier flavor to it. It was my first time ordering some Macarons at 7 Leaves. The Earl Grey is always a good option anywhere you try out. Over all, a nice clean location and has a good lively ambiance to it, and their drinks are usually on point. read more

Got my usual Strawberry Hibiscus with boba. Drinks came out fast. But the sliced apples tasted mushy and the boba was not sweet at all. Also they stopped accepting the 20% off yelp check in. Boo. Will stick to the 7Leaves off Jeffrey. 3 stars. read more

The drink didn't taste as good as previous house coffees, but my main complaint was that there was a hair in my drink. I didn't notice it until I was over halfway done (I was driving and didn't inspect it until after I stopped) and I was too far to turn around and bring it back. I reached out to customer service multiple times and didn't hear anything back. I love 7 Leaves but I'm not planning on going back to this location... read more

Tea drinks at Diamond Jamboree, conveniently located. Good, basic options which include more traditional teas to fancy fruit flavored drinks. You can request less sweet and less ice, they type of milk, choice of toppings if you desire, and customize your drink a bit. My jasmine milk tea was still sweet even though I requested less sweet. They did reduce the amount of ice at my request which was good. I could taste the flavor of the jasmine tea which was good. I asked for oat milk. The Japanese matcha soy tea was pretty good and less sweet than the Jasmine tea. read more

I got a passion fruit with mint today and I have always like this drink because of the mint, I was so disappointed, my drink had only 2 leaves and didn't taste the same, now I'm going to wait to order on line. read more
I used to wish 7 Leaves had more drink flavor options, but I have grown to love their Thai tea/green Thai tea so much that I don't even care anymore! This location is great. I never have trouble with parking surprisingly - and I usually come weekdays at lunch time. I love their ham and Brie croissant, would love to see if that could be combined with their "croffle" sometime soon. The mobile app is so great, and I love that they do cool things to help you earn more "leaves," like donating at your local thrift store etc. Feels like I'm supporting my community when I come here. This 7 Leaves is located in the Irvine Jamboree plaza. The great thing about this place is that it's one of the few places that open late in Irvine! The not-so-great thing is they have very limited decaf options. Only 3 drinks are officially decaf (herbal tea, sunset passion, and strawberry hibiscus) and they are all cold drinks. Wish they could make a decaf... anything. They also have very limited customization options, so you don't have much control over the sugar levels besides saying "less sugar" (they said most they can do is 75% sweet). Ended up getting an iced herbal tea (tastes like a grass jelly drink). I asked for extra ice to help dilute the sweetness, and that worked well. The workers were nice, friendly, and helpful... and the place was bustling with people coming and leaving well up til their closing time at midnight. If you want a seat here you might have to wait a bit as there's not that much seating inside. Miss the pre-pandemic days when it was easier to find cute, cozy coffee shops that are open later. Times have sadly changed. Thankful 7 Leaves has enough foot traffic and staff to stay open all hours of day. read more

I found this cafe when looking for somewhere to study that opens late. The space is not very crowded inside with some outside seating. The pork buns were not too bad, but I was pretty disappointed in the matcha tea. The sugar didn't dissolve at all, so every sip had a mouthful of granulated sugar that had quite a crunch. Some of my friends who's been here before had pretty good drinks so maybe this is just a one of. read more

I came here after lunch with my friends to get a drink. There was a little kiosk where we ordered our drinks. The interior of this place is very green and bright. I remember when this location used to be Guppy House, and they actually really improved the atmosphere and made the place sunnier. I got an iced matcha soy latte. Our drinks didn't take too long, so service was pretty quick. I enjoyed my drink as the matcha wasn't too gritty. read more

Incredible value and service here! As soon as I ordered my drink was ready. I ordered the mung bean milk tea and it was sweet and refreshing. There is a bit of a toasted aftertaste, which I'm a fan of. For those who like boba, it's one of the better ones I've had. It's light and springy, and not too chewy. read more
These guys have more snacks! And more coffee options!! And the best bonus: it's closer to home!!! Haha I'm honestly just so happy that a 7 Leaves opened up in this Diamond Jamboree plaza :D It took over Paper Lantern, so it has a very accessible corner spot and a roomy aesthetic interior. I was easily able to find parking nearby on a Friday afternoon. I treated myself to the Jasmine Sea Cream with boba, less ice. Needless to say, it was delicious and refreshing, much needed on a hot day after work going into the weekend. I also ordered a Ham and Brie, which was super satisfying! A small, flaky croissant with rolled up ham and melted cheese (devoured in five bites). Staff were friendly, which is something I really appreciate. Combined with quality consistent with 7 Leaves shops, proximity to home, and placement in the plaza with access to other restaurants and stores, this location is definitely my new favorite. read more
Stopped in for a Vietnamese coffee and it was tasty as ever! Also kept me up very very late that night lol I had to remember not to drink a Vietnamese coffee in the afternoon. Googled it and Google said Vietnamese coffee is made with stronger Robusta coffee as opposed to a more common and less strong Arabica coffee which explains all the extra buzziness I feel after drinking one of these tasty energy treats! ANOTHA ONE. yes irvine has two 7 leaves, is that a flex? 7 leaves staff have always felt nice and diligent, I ain't gonna lie my fav is still artisan ( shh..). This location is bigger than the other irvine location, but still unexpectedly tight compared to the exterior ( some small cafe chairs, but def more for solo patrons). There's a self service kiosk! But I wasn't sure where to scan my app for leaves. (lol I forgot I had the app). Unexpectedly, a lot of people go up to the register to order. This location has croffles and ham n cheese! I think strawberry crossiants are on availability basis as its not on the menu. What do I like about 7 leaves? Their drinks have enough flavor where you don't need pearls and its a solid selection. I got the sea cream jasmine tea- solid, I would recommend just mixing it as its not salted cheese foam (no cheese flavor), I mean u can sip the top and drink it just be careful swirling. I tried the green Thai tea- it was very pretty, but I think more floraly than I prefer ( which just shows quality tea?) Overall solid drink place, moves a little faster than sunright, but might depend on the busyness of the plaza read more
Strawberry Hibiscus w/ Aloe Vera: refreshing and sweet. It's delicious, can't go wrong Green Thai Tea w/ Honey Boba: tasty green thai tea, a flavor I always jump at the chance to drink for I rarely see it on menus. This isn't the best I've had but it does hit the spot. Customer service was also great. Ordered a regular and a large but they switched the sizes for my drinks. After mentioning this, they quickly rectify the situation and I ended up with two larges :) read more

Go to drink is always jasmine sea cream. It never disappoints! New location in diamond jamboree is more focused on their cafe aspect. First time here to study because they're open late, until midnight! And offers food. Also, they have WiFi which is a must to get any work done! Only down side is they only have two outlets on one side of the cafe. I would have given 5 stars had they had options for outlets on the other side of the cafe.
