Forgot what I ordered but it had green tea ice cream!

Super hot day, tons of customers with the same idea as me, to come here! The interior had lots of space and tables, and a claw machine! After I put in my order, I needed a token for it but the one and only person working was too busy to change me. She apologized and when another worker finally came back, she got me my token and I tried for something..but lost. When I got my order, and sat down to enjoy it, man did it cool me down big time! So refreshing! I'm not usually in W. Covina often, and the closest Meet Fresh to me is Temple City, but it's way above the 10 freeway and I'm by the 60 freeway so it's quite a drive just to get to it. And the Monterey Park one closed so...anyways, loved it, and will definitely will be back before the summer season ends!

This place is ok. There isn't much happening in this joint. Molly Tea just opened up a few doors down. They will takeover all the customers. MF doesnt have much to offer as far as flavor and ambiance ( for the lack of unfortunately). I wouldn't be surprised if they close up.

Very refreshing on a hot day! Quick and friendly service and plenty of parking in this plaza (although packed very quickly on weekends with so many restaurants and coffee shops around). The inside was clean with plenty of seating! Tried their signature #1 meet fresh grass jelly with taro balls and shaved ice. The grass jelly was jiggly and refreshing. The taro and sweet potato balls were chewy and the shaved ice was nicely sweetened. Top it off with their creamer for a more milky taste! For $10 it was a good amount and perfect for sharing with 2-3 people. Would def recommend stopping by during the weekday for their weekday deals too. Plenty of sweet treats and drinks to try!

    Grass jelly special... :(

I went in for red bean soup..cashier convinced me to try there grass jelly specialty... the worse dessert and I will try anything...something was off. None of family like it. We orderedthis and 2 kids drinks Total was $27 and some change.. if this grass jelly is their specialty...that's a bummer because the place was clean ... it did have a out of order bathroom but the rest of the place was clean . Only reason im giving 2 stars

I was in the mood for something sweet so we found this fun spot located off sunset ave in a busy shopping center. (Hong Kong plaza) The location has a front and back entrance. A large menu with different sweets and some food options as well. While you wait for your order you can enjoy a game of claw machine or pick out a fun trinket out of the trinket machine ! The service was nice and the deserts were tasty. Parking can be difficult since this location is so busy fyi but worth the visit !

We were craving Meet Fresh on New Year's Day and stopped by around noon to order takeout. There were no other customers when we walked in. I placed my order with an employee, though I later noticed there's a self-service ordering kiosk near the entrance. Communication was a bit challenging, as the staff at this location speak very limited English. The first employee had to call over another staff member to help with my order, since it seemed like there was some confusion. The seasonal hot almond soup is currently available, so we ordered that along with a build-your-own hot grass jelly with taro paste and mini Qs. This was my first time trying the taro paste and it was excellent - definitely a must-order for taro lovers, and the portion was generous. The grass jelly itself was lacking in sweetness and we had to ask separately for creamer (thought it usually came with it, but I could be misremembering). Unfortunately, the packaging was a miss. The lid on the grass jelly wasn't secured properly, and some of it spilled inside the bag.

It is best tasting the very first day! Order was made quickly! I love their winter melon tea at 50 percent sweetness. They have so many monthly deals, it is hard to pass up. I'm glad I went at night, there was no line. The menu is huge. Inside is pretty quiet and clean.

I was craving a shave ice dessert after having dinner nearby and was pleased to see Meet Fresh in the area. There are ample parking spots as it's located in a shared plaza. The service was rather poor. No one greets you and there are hand written signs all over the store to direct you on how to self order. Basically you order what you want at a kiosk. There are television menus on display and they are all outdated. There is a menu by the wall, which is also outdated. The kiosk where you self service also has a suggestive tip option, which I don't understand since no one is helping us. My boyfriend and I decided on a large strawberry mango dessert as it was only $1 more compared to the medium. The size is actually GINORMOUS. We added on pudding and mochi ... and the dessert cost almost $20. They only have two small pieces of mochi. I'm used to mochi balls being scattered in the dessert. Anyways, I think that's a pretty steep price for dessert. We couldn't finish it. It was overwhelming. The mango and strawberry toppings also weren't very sweet. However the presentation was nice. PS- The restrooms were "out of order". Not sure I'll be back. There are other more satisfying dessert places in the neighborhood with better customer service and pricing.

Originating from Taichung, Taiwan, Meet Fresh was founded in 2007 by the Fu siblings. Most of the items on the menu were the Fu family's traditional and home cooked recipes. It's known for authentic flavor and dedication to natural, handmade ingredients. The dessert shop did so well in Taiwan that many new locations were opened in various countries. Meet Fresh is my mom's favorite dessert place. We usually go to the Temple City location. Glad that they opened one here near us. It's in the same plaza of Haven City Food Hall with plenty of parking. Interior is cute, clean, and spacious with two claw machines. Staffs are very nice, friendly, and helpful. They refilled our water and brought it to our table. Most of their items on the menu are delicious and not too sweet. We love their hot red bean soup with sesame balls and signature shaved ice. Their grass jelly is good but it's more to the sweeter side. Great place to hangout after lunch/dinner with friends and family.

I have come here occasionally for their Too Good To Go since it's the only way the prices here can be reasonable. The staff organization/knowledge seems very lacking as they often don't have a clue the specifics about the app orders. People often get pissed waiting for a long time here and I've had customers want to fight me because they everyone was cutting the queue because the waits were so long and the staff doesn't manage the customer expectations or line. I've literally been told by the staff to come back in an hour because they're too behind which seems to be most of the time. I've seen 1 person overwhelmed on a busy day sure... but I've seem the same happen with 5 staff. Something is not right.

We ordered the strawberry mango shaved ice and added in taro balls. They ran out of strawberries so they gave us a free choice of q mochi. The shaved ice was decent, and the q mochi and taro balls were yummy and chewy. The large sized shaved ice we ordered was enough for 5 people. The matcha egg waffle was ok. It was bitter and dry. Needed some condensed milk or something to sweeten and moisten it. Wouldn't recommend ordering. Service was good and the store has plenty of seating, games and claw machines. Good spot to hangout with friends and family.

Oh baby, why don't you just meet me in the middle? I'm losing my mind just a little So why don't you just meet me in the middle?... 4.5/5 Chocolate Deluxe Egg Waffle was good although we could have used a bit more ice cream as it was like 3 parts waffle 1/3 ice cream. The chocolate was good on each little waffle bubble bite, my kids really enjoyed it. Didn't try the chocolate rolls that was all the kiddos. It also has some nuts sprinkled in there. 4/5 Ambiance Indoor and outdoor seating available. Card only no cash. Return tray area near the bathrooms. Both bathrooms were out of service on our visit. They do have board game nights Tuesdays. They have wifi as well but was surprised how empty this location was. 4/5 Parking Parking around the shopping center can get busy but not bad. With a lot of competition in their own backyard this location needs to be on point to keep up especially with the bathrooms. I wonder what this place is like on a Tuesday night. Psalm 1:1, God bless

Ice grass jelly with more grass jelly, and also Taro ball

Stopped by here with my wife for dessert after dinner, and it was a great choice. We shared an ice grass jelly dessert with extra grass jelly and tapioca balls, a splash of milk, and I added a little half-and-half afterward--super tasty, smooth, and not too sweet. The vibe inside was chill and welcoming. They had Coco playing on the TV, which was a nice touch and made the place feel relaxed and family-friendly. I can easily see this being a spot for families, friends, or even casual meet-ups. Service was a bit mixed--the staff member who took our order didn't seem very friendly at first, but when we were leaving, she was much warmer and polite, which helped end things on a good note. Overall, a solid dessert spot that I'd definitely return to. The dessert alone makes it worth coming back.

The mochi components were soft and chewy. The dessert can get milky and creamy since most of the ingredients are milk based. The black sesame flavors stood out and highly recommend if you like black sesame. We ordered and paid on the kiosk using apple pay. The presentation of their fresh milk mochi (鲜奶麻薯) bowls and dip-and-stretch mochi desserts is undeniable--it makes for great photos, and the shop itself is super bright and clean. The stretchy texture of the milk mochi base was fun and delightfully soft, and components like the taro paste and purple rice had a nice, subtle sweetness. However, for the price point, the execution fell a little short. Some of the toppings felt under-prepared; the taro balls lacked that fresh, springy chewy elasticity you want in a shaved ice/mochi bowl, and the coconut jelly base tasted slightly watered down instead of rich. Logistics wise, the service was quite slow even though the store wasn't very busy, and parking in this Labin Court plaza can be a complete nightmare during peak evening hours. It's a solid place to stop by once for the aesthetic and novelty, but given the steep competition for Asian desserts in Rowland, it doesn't quite hit top-tier status for me.
