Stopped by here with my wife for dessert after dinner, and it was a great choice. We shared an ice grass jelly dessert with extra grass jelly and tapioca balls, a splash of milk, and I added a little half-and-half afterward--super tasty, smooth, and not too sweet. The vibe inside was chill and welcoming. They had Coco playing on the TV, which was a nice touch and made the place feel relaxed and family-friendly. I can easily see this being a spot for families, friends, or even casual meet-ups. Service was a bit mixed--the staff member who took our order didn't seem very friendly at first, but when we were leaving, she was much warmer and polite, which helped end things on a good note. I'm such a fan of Meet Fresh so it sucks to leave a low star review. However, it is necessary to put the truth out there in the hopes that this location will improve. The staff here is so unkind. Came here with family and we were the only ones in the store. No acknowledgment of us while we waited for the staff to take our order. After about 10 minutes the girl at the front told us to order at the kiosk behind us. She could have mentioned that sooner, why make us wait? She was not assisting anyone else. At least have a sign to tell you to order at the kiosk. Just trying to close up the shop, an hour and a half earlier I guess. Ordering at the kiosk was not a pleasant experience. I usually make specific modifications to my boba drinks and I was not seeing the options there. It was frustrating to navigate. When I got my order the girl had so much attitude. The quality of the boba and the ice treats are high but the customer service here is very poor. The bare minimum was not even reached with the staff here. This has to be the worst Meet Fresh I have been to... If you're thinking of your normal Meet Fresh experience, lower that expectation a couple of notches before you walk in here... This place was a bit dirty and unkept... The left over cup was on the table while 2 workers sitting behind the counter chatting away. The air conditioner wasn't on. We were craving Meet Fresh on New Year's Day and stopped by around noon to order takeout. There were no other customers when we walked in. I placed my order with an employee, though I later noticed there's a self-service ordering kiosk near the entrance. Communication was a bit challenging, as the staff at this location speak very limited English. The first employee had to call over another staff member to help with my order, since it seemed like there was some confusion. The seasonal hot almond soup is currently available, so we ordered that along with a build-your-own hot grass jelly with taro paste and mini Qs. This was my first time trying the taro paste and it was excellent - definitely a must-order for taro lovers, and the portion was generous. The grass jelly itself was lacking in sweetness and we had to ask separately for creamer (thought it usually came with it, but I could be misremembering). Unfortunately, the packaging was a miss. I was craving a shave ice dessert after having dinner nearby and was pleased to see Meet Fresh in the area. There are ample parking spots as it's located in a shared plaza. The service was rather poor. No one greets you and there are hand written signs all over the store to direct you on how to self order. Basically you order what you want at a kiosk. There are television menus on display and they are all outdated. There is a menu by the wall, which is also outdated. The kiosk where you self service also has a suggestive tip option, which I don't understand since no one is helping us. My boyfriend and I decided on a large strawberry mango dessert as it was only $1 more compared to the medium. The size is actually GINORMOUS. We added on pudding and mochi ... and the dessert cost almost $20. They only have two small pieces of mochi. I'm used to mochi balls being scattered in the dessert. Anyways, I think that's a pretty steep price for dessert. We couldn't finish it. It was overwhelming. The mango and strawberry toppings also weren't very sweet. However the presentation was nice. PS- The restrooms were "out of order". Not sure I'll be back. There are other more satisfying dessert places in the neighborhood with better customer service and pricing. read more

It's known for authentic flavor and dedication to natural, handmade ingredients. The dessert shop did so well in Taiwan that many new locations were opened in various countries. Meet Fresh is my mom's favorite dessert place. We usually go to the Temple City location. Glad that they opened one here near us. It's in the same plaza of Haven City Food Hall with plenty of parking. Interior is cute, clean, and spacious with two claw machines. Staffs are very nice, friendly, and helpful. They refilled our water and brought it to our table. Most of their items on the menu are delicious and not too sweet. We love their hot red bean soup with sesame balls and signature shaved ice. I have come here occasionally for their Too Good To Go since it's the only way the prices here can be reasonable. The staff organization/knowledge seems very lacking as they often don't have a clue the specifics about the app orders. People often get pissed waiting for a long time here and I've had customers want to fight me because they everyone was cutting the queue because the waits were so long and the staff doesn't manage the customer expectations or line. I've literally been told by the staff to come back in an hour because they're too behind which seems to be most of the time. I've seen 1 person overwhelmed on a busy day sure... but I've seem the same happen with 5 staff. Something is not right. read more

The shaved ice was decent, and the q mochi and taro balls were yummy and chewy. The large sized shaved ice we ordered was enough for 5 people. The matcha egg waffle was ok. It was bitter and dry. Needed some condensed milk or something to sweeten and moisten it. Wouldn't recommend ordering. Service was good and the store has plenty of seating, games and claw machines. I've always seen the ads but finally gave this place a try and I was throughly impressed by these Taiwanese desserts! Beans in dessert had me shook, but it's the mix of herby grass jelly, cold shaved ice, black sesame balls, and taro balls that when eaten together gives you a deep flavor that almost feels beyond just a dessert. Parking gets pretty busy as it's a packed plaza with Haven City Market across the plaza and other restaurants. There's plenty of seating and outdoor seating as well to grab a quick bite or hang out for a while. There's also claw machine for games and a vending machine for labubu outfits! (~$10 / each labubu outfit item) Desserts are great but the owners need to stop being stingy with staff. There's only 1 person working the front! Then they only have 1 other person for the back, total of 2 staff members. This causes slow pacing of desserts and must be overwhelming for the staff during rush hour. read more

Newly Opened Meet Fresh location (opened back in August), found in the same plaza as BMC and newly opened Haven City Market. I visited this location on a Sunday with my husband. We entered from the back entrance (where you will find a unisex restroom. What is interesting is that there is a sink right outside the restroom (this is also a sink in the restroom) for those that may just want to wash their hands, which I think is nice. Anyways, when we came in and walked to the counter, we were greeted by the employees behind the counter. After looking over the menu, we ended up purchasing: Almond Milk Drink w/ Boba, $6.50 prior to tax- I ordered this drink which I thought was just perfect in flavor. It was not too sweet and was nice to have hot on a cold day. The boba was perfectly cooked, nice and soft with a good chew. Milk Tea w/ Grass Jelly, $6.50 prior to tax- My husband ordered this milk tea to be made with no ice and 50% sweetness. He liked his drink and thought the grass jelly was just right. ---------------------------------- (Total= $13.96 after tax) Service was friendly and quick. I like the nice seating area with several tables and chairs to choose from. We had an early dinner and decided to come out for some Shaved iced. I've never been to Meet Fresh and decided to try this place. Really liked how clean the dining area is and spacious. Ordered a mango berry on the kiosk and added almond jello, sesame balls and an extra scoop of ice cream. Enjoyed the shaved ice very much. The strawberry and mango combination is delicious and ordered this 1/2 sweet. The center of the shaved ice is brown sugar soaked - surprise! The large can probably feed 3-4 people.
