As he was leaving, I asked him how the vent was and he said it was terrible! He asked again if I was sure the dryer was working well. I said yes, that I just have to run it twice to get the clothes dry, but I thought that was because I always used the delicate cycle He said that now it should only take one cycle. He was right. My clothes are now dry in one cycle and most importantly MY ELECTRIC BILL IS HALF WHAT IT WAS!!! Who knew? Not me, obviously! Very grateful for this service.

I don't think you can measure a business when everything is going perfectly. You measure a business by how they handle things when it doesn't go as planned. Everything has been going great, but we recently had a little hiccup when I added a whole home water filtration system. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. I am very happy with how they addressed this past issue and will be calling them in the future.

Great sales tactics on their end if you are evaluating them from a business standpoint. Lots of AI interface and lack of personal human approach to business. I had an issue with my furnace. They came out and diagnosed it, and did the repair that day. Days later when I went to use it, same issue. They came back out and diagnosed two other issues, no mention of why we don't think that those things weren't present the first visit. So I paid for first and second visit. I think I should have been refunded the first visit since clearly that service didn't fix the job. Oh and the best is they already started trying to up sell me a whole new system...they installed mine 10 years ago. They were better 10 years ago.

He was surprised how clean our system was and that it was still running in tip top shape. I asked him if it needed any cleaning and he said it was still clean and did not need to be cleaned. He did not try to upsell me on any additional services. He did replace the capacitor at no additional costs to keep the unit running at full capacity. They charged me $130 to do a HVAC tune up and I'm glad I chose Anacapa. He also cleaned the outside fan unit to keep the coils clean. Before Anacapa came out, I had an Air Duct company come out a couple days before to look at my ducts to see if they needed cleaning. But they did not see anything bad that needed cleaning, so I wanted to wait for Anacapa to service my HVAC unit and get their opinion my air ducts at the same time. David looked at the ducts and said they do not need cleaning and a huge part of that is because I change my HVAC air filter every few months to keep dirt and dust out of the system. The way I decided on Anacapa was using google Gemini AI to help me decide on a company I was looking for. Happy with my decision. 5 stars!!

I had to look for a place that services my Brand of water heater, is reputable, and available! They were able to come out SAME DAY and kept me informed throughout the day of changes in eta. There was a pretty big change in eta but that worked out for me because I was just leaving work to meet their technician. The technician (Roberto Ramirez) was kind and patient and explained what COULD be wrong and what was ACTUALLY wrong. He told me what to look for in the future and possibly how to prevent it from happening again. He told me how to maintain it going forward and some other tips and tricks that might help extend the life of my water heater. Additionally, he contacted the warranty company and worked with them to get the needed part today at zero cost to me which you would think might annoy a company or technician but he didn't seem bothered at all. We had a girl Plumber, Stacie, and my daughters were super excited about that. She fixed my sink and shower in no time flat! I paid around 300 for my garbage disposal BUT 250 to change out an outlet under my sink (Which seemed a little high but I didn't have time to research new quotes.) I would probably use them again because it was easy to schedule and everyone that came was great.
