2nd time here. 1st time was good but this time it was a waste of money. We ordered online and came in to pick it up. Online order said it would take 25 mins for 2 drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Entered the store it was not busy at all, 2 ladies waiting on their drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We looked around at the snacks but they were out of everything we wanted. 1st visit they were also out of a lot. Both early in the day. I waited for an alert that my order was ready but never got one. So I asked about our drinks and they hadn't been started. We watched her make the drinks for the ladies in front of us who were also annoyed. They got some kind of Mango looking drinks. I watched the girl use the same spoons to make our drinks which were strawberry... I'm guessing they just use one spoon all day? Good thing I'm not allergic to anything. We got our drinks after awhile and I even asked her if she made me the right drink because it was white and normally pink. She said ya but it was because they were running low on strawberries... huh? Anyways we left with our drinks and they were both bland no taste and definitely no strawberry taste. All in all I probably won't be back. Staff doesn't seem to want to be there and they were definitely not hapoy to make our drinks.

2 Passion Fruit Green Tea ICED LARGE with Boba

I stopped by 85°C Bakery Cafe and ordered two passion fruit green teas. I only asked for one to have boba and the other without, but both drinks came with boba. Not a big deal, but I write my reviews truthfully and little details like this matter. It also took about 15 minutes to get my drinks, which felt a bit long. That said, the drinks were still really good and refreshing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe itself is clean and organized, and it is always nice to see all the bread and pastries on display.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On this visit some of the bread looked like it had been sitting out for a while, but I know from past visits that if you come here in the morning everything looks much fresher. Overall, I still enjoy this location and would come back, but a little more attention to details would make the experience perfect.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First of all this location is close to the High School so expect alot of young students.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As I enter it's really crowded and there's a lot to choose from pastries and bread to drinks like matcha etc.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I decided to get a tiramisu cheesecake and it's was ok good. In the sense that it's was balanced and not so sweet nor to tasteless. It was also smooth and fresh in every-bite. But I didn't like the service as I was next in line and was saying my order then the person starts screaming over me in saying "Next in line" !!! I thought that was very rude of the cashier to do that. While I was trying to say my order and the person was talking over me. Which I don't appreciate that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As I really don't come to this location because it's crowded everytime with the youth ( literally like half of the school is there and noisy).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Which at this point I think they have claimed this spot to be for them than other people. I definitely get it , it's right by there path a place where they can hang and enjoy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Which for me I prefer a more quiet and serene atmosphere personally to relax.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A solid 85 Bakery! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We dropped by midday and were pleasantly surprised by the fun Halloween decorations--they really added a festive touch to the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The selection of bread was quite good at that time, and we picked up a few pastries at very reasonable prices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was fresh, and the atmosphere was inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really enjoyed the decorations--it made the visit extra enjoyable![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of my go to bakeries for cakes, pastries, and drinks. I like all the fresh breads that they make daily. My go to are the coconut almond twist bread, the taro filled bread, the milk bread. I haven't tried all of the varieties yet but they look delicious. I came here to pick up a birthday cake for my boyfriend and they have plenty of options. The mango mousse cake called out to me so I got it. I like that it wasn't too sweet, fresh mango and fruit toppings. The cake itself was light and airy not dense like most cake. The cream has hints of mango and was delicious. The staff member who helped me was very nice, professional, and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like this location because it has lots of parking spaces, it's clean, and it has plenty of seating to enjoy your goods and hangout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food in this company is always good. Service was fast that the cashier forgot to get my slice of cake. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is clean and pastries are well stock.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is one of the branches of 85 that I found they have a variety of cakes for me to choose from. There are some new cake models that I have not seen in other branches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bakery space is a bit small but the arrangement of tables, chairs and cake shelves is very optimal and reasonable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their staff all try to serve as quickly and as best as possible. The drinks they make are quite delicious, rich in flavor, not too sweet. However, parking here may be a bit limited if you buy on weekdays when school is in session, it will be quite difficult to find a parking space.

TL;DR- [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute interior and lots of seating, yummy pastries![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Some indoor seating, staff is very courteous and fast when making drinks. Bonus: registers w/ credit card for ordering drinks Food- LOTS OF CHOICES! Sea salt jasmine green tea: 10/10 Sea salt caramel tea: 10/10 Red bean pastry: 9/10 Potato croquet (good airfried): 9/10 Tiramisu cheesecake: 8/10

Been going to this 85 since it first opened. Really great bakery but the bread size has gone significantly down. Unfortunately it is pretty pricey now for a small bread but they do have unique flavors that taste good. Tried the salt bread and it was okay, just standard bread taste. For valentines there was chocolate strawberries which were so good! Sea salt jasmine green tea is also a classic from there. The staff are very friendly but sometimes the line is long to checkout since this location is fairly busy with people buying lots of bread and cake. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ample seating inside but the tables are a bit dirty since they don't really get wiped during the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Did they discontinue the espresso bun? I couldnt find it last time I went in and it's not on the website?

I think they did but I'm not sure

Is the squid ink (calamari) stick bread not being sold anymore? My mom went this morning and was told by one of the workers that it has been discontinued for a while.

They discontinued it because of how well it was sold. The company looks at the sales, at all stores, for each bread and depending on the average of those sales assists in deciding whether the bread should continue to be sold or not.

Does 85 degrees have gluten-free options?

No, there are no gluten-free options

I like this location more than others because of the bigger parking lot, more seating options (including an upstairs area and outdoor seating), and I've also received better service here compared to other locations. The place is simply decorated, and it honestly is a solid spot if you're looking to crank out some work or meet with colleagues/friends. It does get pretty crowded so it's better to get an early head start if you can, especially on the weekends. In terms of their drinks, my favorite is the blueberry lavender matcha latte. It's on the sweeter side and has a floral aftertaste, but the flavors mix really well together. I typically get their matcha drinks or teas because I'm not a fan of coffee, but my friends that are coffee fiends are fans of the various coffee drinks here. Compared to other cafes, I feel like the cost of the drinks is standard, but the prepared food and pastries are on the steeper side. Still a great spot, I enjoy coming for the atmosphere and biscuits!

The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.
