Just a teen doing her Job. :) One of my friends ordered the peach mango smoothie, good but a bit water down. Prefer a little more thickness to smoothies. I got the strawberry shake which was super delicious! Highly recommend! My other friend ordered the cookies and cream shake. Everyone seemed to like the cookies and cream the best (I'm not a fan of chocolate so my opinion wouldn't count in this situation lol). The Carmel frappe was good as well. The pan dulces were fresh and very flavorful. This location is off a main street so it's easy to find. There's plenty of free parking. It was empty on a Thursday afternoon.. I stopped by for their tres leches cake. I ended up ordering their red velvet personal cake slice. Both versions, once glazed and one not. This was in addition to the tres leches slices. I love coffee so I just had to try their coffee bar out. I asked for the dulce de leche coffee just a tad bit less sweet than they usually make it. I should've known I made a mistake because I don't really like dulce de leche but I still wanted to try it-- the worker made it sound so enticing. It was way too sweet for my liking. Even after mixing and mixing I couldn't tolerate how sweet it was for me. On the other hand.. I tried the horchata espresso which was a solid 4/5 from me. I would see myself ordering it in the future. The tres leches is super milky, moist, mellow and flavorful. It is not too sweet which is what I love. It is hands down one of the best tres leches cakes I have ever come across. I've been recommending it to everyone I know truly. I've tried their conchas in the past, I remember having a good memory of it but it was so long ago for me to really review about. I visited My Panecito on the morning of May 3rd. The conchas were good and fresh, but the cinnamon roll seemed undercooked--it wasn't soft or fluffy at all, and the texture was off. As for the service, the experience was very disappointing. The girl at the register (with tattoos) was quite rude and not welcoming, which really affects the overall experience. On the other hand, the guy preparing the orders was kind and helpful. I think they should really work on improving customer service, especially at the register, because a bad attitude can take away from an otherwise good product. read more

I personally just liked the original ones which are the chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, didn't really care for the others. When we came in there was only one girl working orders and the register. Customer service was okay. We got a strawberry banana smoothie and we didn't like it at all. They only add the fruit and ice, so it didn't have much flavor and the consistency was off. I was in the mood for a sweet treat and made the truck over here to finally try their concha. It was around 4 PM but when you walk in, it smells like the conchas just came out of the oven. I picked my concha, expecting it to not be Fresh because it was so late in the afternoon, but I was so wrong. That concha was warm and fluffy and just bursting with flavor. I tried the strawberry shortcake and the biscotti and both were so soft. The lady helping us was very nice. I don't believe I've ever waited longer in line than I did here (compared to where I started as I was 2nd in line when I came in and waited about 25 minutes for them to take my order). We got a pistachio concha (that was decent and if I was only grading on that it would be 3.5 out of 5 stars). We also got a strawberry concha ice cream sandwich ($8.50 for that) and it was very poor quality with very little ice cream in it. I really wanted to try the churro concha - they also had an Apple pie today, so I got those two. They were so incredibly delicious. Warm fresh bread with a sweet crunchy topping. I sat and downed both of them in my car in about 3 minutes and then went back in to get the strawberry crumble also. It was just as good as the other two - I wish I had more room in my stomach to try other flavors! I have eaten an unholy amount of conchas in my life. I am the Duke of several panederias in NELA but they are just playing games compared to My Panecito. These are crazy, next level upgraded conchas. Mexican Crumbl!!! Saw a video of this place on instagram and came here the next day. I also told my friend and she came an hour after I sent her photos. She bought a whole dozen! This place sells conchas at a very reasonable price. They're very tasty, warm, and packaged well. Their conchas are supposedly baked every 30 min(?). They have rotational flavors and I got the oreo one and the strawberry krunch conchas. I would like to try out their ice cream conchas next time! They also have a super large concha as well! Finally gave Panecito a chance. The desserts looked amazing! Extremely appetizing. I'm trying to watch my sugar consumption so all I had was a Horchata latte with almond milk & cold foam. It was ok, nothing spectacular. I wouldn't order it again. My friend had the abuelita chocolate frappe, which was leaning more bitter than sweet. She purchased a few conchas, and I got to taste the strawberry crunch one & it was delicious. It was very soft, yet thick. The strawberry flavor was very pleasant. The aesthetic of the place is super cute, and the food looks delicious. We got 2 Oreo, 2 strawberry krunch, 1 vanilla, 1 Dubai, 1 chocolate, a churro scone, 1 birthday cake, 1 mazapan and 1 churro concha. They were all so good, my favorite was the Dubai one! The fact that you can see the area where they make all the magic happen is really cool and it makes me want to come here more often. It's very transparent and lets us see how fresh their goods are. Came here around 8:20pm and there was a line but the line moved pretty quickly. Got the strawberry krunch, Oreo cookie & cream, cinnamon roll, and vanilla concha. Plus slice of strawberry and tres leches cake. The concha lived up to it's hype. They were awesome delicious and not overly sweet. However pass on the slice cake because their slices are tiny and I mean tiny. They are literally little bigger than my apple watch, like WTH for nearly $5. Great service. I stopped by again on a Monday morning, the day before Christmas Eve, around 8:00am. About 3 people in line ahead of me and there was available parking in the shared lot. The conchas are overpriced I get it you're trying to sell a product like crumble cookie. However, at least offer quality for price you are selling. Everything came off the moment I took a bite. The concha is NOT soft from the inside nor is the churo elote. We purchased enough to have to leftover for the next day and the bread got even harder. Crumble cookies are soft and that's what sells. I really love trying new places inspired by cultures. I was super excited to try gourmet styles of pan dulce, or sweet bread. In Mexico, you can find panaderías and grab a cup of café de la olla. My panecito brings a twist to that and brings in different flavors. I have yet to try the crafted drinks but I did try the Oreo concha, Oreo gourmet cake, and the fruit tart. I really wanted to love it, but it was a bit lacking. The concha is good though needs milk or drink to help wash the sweetness. The Oreo cake was mostly frosting or crème filling rather than bread. It was small layer of chocolate cake. The fruit tart was good, the crust was good but the custard was too sweet. Overall, it may just be to sweet for my liking. This review is in reference to my experience with ordering for delivery. I really want to support this business, the few times that I've gone in person to pick up desserts, they are delicious. But their online fulfillment is missing some attention to details. I ordered a catering pack that was supposed to include 30 mini concha's for a work event. Much to my surprise what was delivered was a small box with 6 concha's. Not acceptable to deliver to a business and get the order fulfillment wrong. Here I am trying to promote the business and they get the order wrong. This is the second time I've been put in a bind because the order is wrong. Unfortunately, I think I'll give up on ordering catering at this point. Best to pick things up in person so you can make sure you're getting the right order. read more
