Very clean modern coffee shop. There was plenty of parking. The inside had a good amount of seating but it was still pretty full on a Saturday afternoon. Looked like a good place to study or get work done. They have a decent variety of drinks along with pastries. Got a regular matcha latte and a biscoff latte with foam, was very good
Great atmosphere, with good seating, clean and chill music to listen to. Not too loud if you're working or studying. The employees are friendly and ask your opinion of the drinks. We didn't get any food but the display was clean, well maintained and picture perfect. We did order an iced espresso ($4) which my hubby gave a 7.8 and says the price is worth it. I got the strawberry matcha ($7 and comes with oat milk) and I would order it again. Not super sweet and the matcha is great. Not grainy or too earthy. The strawberry puree is really the only sweetener, so that's why it not super sweet. A suggestion is to make a pineapple matcha. I had one the other day and it was bomb! Made with coconut milk. So like a matcha pina colada. Mmmm
My girlfriend has been raving about this newer spot, so I finally gave it a try--best decision ever. The interior is a great size with a super cute aesthetic. There's plenty of seating with a mix of table options, making it perfect whether you're coming solo or with a group. They even have a cute little water dispenser, which I loved. Only downside was restroom was a little dirty and no toilet paper Service was friendly and informative, which always makes a difference. I ordered an iced matcha with oat milk and one pump of sugar-free vanilla, and it was made to perfection. I'm trying not to chug it, but it's that good. They also had a selection of pastries that looked really tempting. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.
While in the area, I visited 8th Symphony and picked up a Tiramisu Cloud Latte and a Blueberry Matcha Latte. Both drinks were delicious and I enjoyed that I was able to pick my milk of choice at no additional charge. I also loved the detail of the Ladyfinger given for the Tiramisu. Atmosphere was bright and a good amount of people were working or studying and it was extremely quiet. Bathroom was clean and fresh. Great place to try out if you love coffee and teas!
Hands down the best coffee spot in the Cerritos area They have the Nami Matcha, which is SO good--definitely a standout. The ambiance is amazing too, super relaxing with great music always playing in the background. It's the perfect place to study, work, or just unwind. They also have a solid selection of food and drinks, and the guava refresher is a MUST try Highly recommend checking this place out if you're nearby!
I am not from Cerritos so i am going off of the other comparable coffee shop I have tried. Went to Holos Coffee yesterday to study and have to be in the area for several hours today for the same, and wanted to try another coffee place. This is also in a strip mall. At 10:30 it is still pretty empty but still enough parties here (approx 6) --to take up basically all the available outlets that I can see here, which runs counter to what another reviewer said about this place having soooo many outlets for laptops. Ordered a hot mocha ganache and it automatically comes in the lidded plastic cup so no differentiation between drinking here or to go, depending on whether you like that or not. Where I had to get a jacket from the car at the other place, it's a little warm in here, which is fine by me, depending on when they decide to the ac on (once it got warm i noticed they turned up ac). The space is bigger so while there appear to be fewer seating areas, you have a little more personal space than at Holos, which I can appreciate. Someone remarked that they couldnt study with the music but while both have the same kind of music, I don't have people yapping right night to my ears, so it's not as distracting at 8th. I know you can't totally tune out everything but I definitely don't want to hear people's conversations crystal clear as I can at holos. Here you have more space. I can put my arm out and not necessarily be able to punch someone lol Aesthetically, this place has more to offer with the windows giving more natural light overall than only simply affecting those sitting closest to the windows. Given the square footage here compared to the other, sound flows better so that you can focus better than where you can hear every damn thing in a smaller space. As for the coffee between both places so far from each of the drinks I've tried they're comparable in taste so I could go either way. Both good options but I would go with 8th if you want more space and/or have a group, come earlier and there should be a spot to accommodate larger parties with more certainty compared to it being more packed at this time at Holos. Planned on waiting for the laptop camper next to me to leave so I can hijack his outlet but this chick swooped out from across the room and jacked the spot before I could slide the 1 foot over to sit there so I guess it's a commodity here for the 6 outlets or so they have. I guess you gotta be prepared to start planting your stuff before the person is even done.
To be completely honest, I came to this coffee shop for two reasons: 1) they proudly serve Nami Matcha which I've been dying to try based on their reviews and 2) they are a Filipino-owned small business. What better way to support than to come and try their drinks. The shop is located in a relatively large plaza with accessible parking spaces in front. The shop itself was well maintained, clean, and aesthetically pleasing with bright lights and couch or chair options available for customers. The service provided was okay, served us with the appropriate amount of customer service required to take our orders. The coffee and matcha drinks were good, a little on the stronger side of espresso, with not as much sweetness (depending on what you prefer). Overall, I was slightly disappointed with the customer service and creativity in the drinks ~ however, if I'm ever in the area I may want to try it again.
Ah! I really wanted to love this place. I ordered two different drinks. The vanilla latte was good and creamy. My only let down is that I saw that the shop doesn't have house made syrups! That was such a bummer because it seems like they use nami matcha! The matcha seemed water downed even though I got it with oat milk. I know that if they made house made syrups, the drinks can even be better! Overall, the place was okay. Loved how there was a lot of seats and space to enjoy the drinks and study.
We were having lunch nearby and stepped into 8th Symphony Coffee because my friends wanted to try @yourmomashley's Nami Matcha, which this café proudly serves (and sells here for $42 a tin). The space itself is bright, open, and clean design and a variety of seating options (we opted for the cozy couch area). Unfortunately, the drinks were a huge letdown. I ordered the Double Matcha with whole milk. It was super creamy but really sweet, with almost no actual matcha flavor. It was green, sure, but tasted more like a dessert than a matcha drink. My friend's hojicha latte was just as disappointing. It didn't taste like hojicha at all, more like a watered-down sweet milk drink with a faint, vague earthy aftertaste, but nothing distinctly hojicha. My other friend ordered an iced matcha latte, which tasted the most matcha-forward of the three, but still wasn't a good matcha. I also ordered a cold brew to-go and while it was good, I definitely think it was on the sweeter side. Disappointing experience, another influencer smokescreen cracked.
Loved the friendly service, ample parking, and the beautifully decorated interior of this shop. Contrary to the exterior appearance, it's bright and airy inside with lots of seating options. I particularly enjoyed the basque cheesecake! Not too sweet, airy, and just the right amount of bitterness. The strawberry matcha was also not too sweet and complimented my cake perfectly. I think I would want to get them with slightly more sweetness added to it the next time. I also didn't taste or smell much strawberry. Otherwise it was perfect. Looking forward to returning again in the future.
Good parking with a bold espresso? Ooh this is definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a large plaza! I had their iced latte, and after ordering was delighted to find a spot at a nearby table. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere is clean! And when I say clean, I mean sparkly clean and comfortable to work in - with headphones. The music is definitely interesting; imagine studying and hearing some *explicit* music - yup definitely raised an eyebrow! But other than that, it was a productive time. Highly Recommended: Bring your own music (and earbuds).
My first visit to 8th Symphony was great. The service was friendly and the order was completed quickly. Parking is tight, but this is an excellent place to work or study because it's super quiet inside. The Tiramisu Cloud Latte and Blueberry Matcha Latte were both tasty & refreshing. If you're close to the mall or in the area, 8th Symphony is worth visiting.
Tiramisu Latte--7.5/10 the tiramisu foam was really rich and it was really satisfying to dip the lady finger it comes with in the tiramisu foam. I was hoping the latte itself would be stronger but it was a little watered down, but the overall flavor itself was good. Biscoff Latte--7/10 good, but the coffee and Biscoff flavor was a bit weak in this one as well. It had Biscoff pieces in it which added a nice texture and the foam was also rich and creamy. Biscoff Cheesecake Box--8/10 really rich cheesecake with a lot of Biscoff pieces on the bottom. Just a tad sweet but the flavor was so good. Overall, the flavor of the coffee in the drinks I tried was on the weaker side. That said, I do prefer my coffee strong so if you're looking for a "sweet treat" type of drink this is the place for you! There was a lot of seating and tables inside--great for a hangout or good place to study if you don't mind the noise. However, I did go on a Saturday so it was really busy with limited seating so I would keep that in mind. I would come back and definitely give some of the other drinks a chance! read more

I visited this popular coffee shop on a weekday afternoon. Located in Artesia's Diamond Crest Plaza, there is plenty of parking. The interior has a lot of seating but it was crammed full of folks hanging out (and a few laptop campers) with not a single seat available when I walked in. I ordered an iced Biscoff latte from the friendly woman taking orders and also chose an almond croissant from the pastry case, slightly warmed up at her recommendation. Luckily for me, a counter seat at a window opened up just after I made my payment. In a couple minutes my name was called to pick up my order. The iced Biscoff latte was fantastic, the smooth brew (double shot) complemented by the mellow flavor of Biscoff cookie. Cream and Biscoff crumbles on top made it a pleasurable drink. The almond croissant was large and delicious. The rich frangipane filling was superb with a bold flavor. Whoever makes them deserves a round of applause. I've somehow overlooked this place in my past adventures in the Artesia/Cerritos area but it's now on my list of places to stop in for coffee and a pastry when I'm in the area. read more
My teenage daughter wanted a Matcha drink and here we are. There are quite a few coffee/tea houses in this area; however, it seems to have its own followers. Love the name, so classic! I am not sure it's the inside air pressure on a hot summer day, or something else all entirely, I had to muster all my muscle strength to open its thick glass door to get inside. Obstacle one accomplished on our quest to macha latte! LOL! From the servers to the lounging crowd, I think the average is about ~20 and younger, definitely a youth heaven! Great decor. I like the wooden long stretched bar table that ran along the glass window which allows for more seats. $9 for a Macha latte! I am so outdated! Anyway, inflation is to be blamed. They also served pasties in addition to the coffee and tea. My daughter is happy with her Macha and I am sure there would be more trips here once she starts driving. read more

On my first visit to 8th Symphony, I tried the matcha cloud latte, which was solid and creamy. I came back for their first Beats and Beans DJ event and had such a fun time. I ordered the Biscoff croffle, which was made-to-order and super tasty. I will say that the paper knives and forks that they offer are a nice environmentally friendly touch, but weren't actually efficient at cutting through the croffle. I also tried out their hojicha latte, but unfortunately it was a miss for me. The roasted nutty flavor was missing and it leaned more milky than I wanted. All in all, the shop is cute with a good menu. I especially loved the concept of having live DJ events, definitely brought such a cool vibe for a coffee shop, and I'm really hoping they keep doing more things like that in the future! Definitely a spot I'll keep an eye on. read more

If you need a place to be productive, 8th Symphony is a great remote worker cafe. It is clean, beautifully designed and minimalist. It's not super busy, which is great because you can really get a table to yourself and not worry about leaving your things out if you need to use the restroom. There are many tables and electrical outlets for use also. The matcha latte was pretty standard. I loved how large the size is compared to other places that charge the same amount for a smaller cup. I wish they had more tea options, just a plain jasmine tea would have been my first choice but I didn't see any on the menu. I will definitely come back. read more

Wow I forgot to rate this place? Can't believe it, been here so many times! The first I came with my coworkers I got matcha cloud late, so good! The. I kept coming here for matcha late, and took advantage of their work space as well. It's so cool to watch staffs mixing the matcha from its powder form with hand crafted technique to make my matcha late as well! They take their work seriously, y'll! Off topic but love the clean, bright theme here, helps with focus while working. read more

Finally got to try this place and I am impressed. The drinks were made well especially my vanilla latte. We also ordered two bottles to go as well as the banana pudding. The ambiance and aesthetic is great - would definitely come here to work if it wasn't too far. read more
Came on a Saturday afternoon and place was kind of packed. Tried the tiramisu cloud latte. The coffee was good with nice mix of bitterness and acidity. The cloud was creamy. Staffs were friendly and the sitting areas were clean. But the bathroom would need a little bit more attention with the trash and toilet seat. read more
Came here after an event and I desperately needed a pick me up. My daughter found this place on Yelp and wanted to try this place out. Once you walk in the space is very inviting and many places to sit, relax ,work. Definitely my kind of coffee shop.. The owner was the one who helped take my order and was told that today was their 1 year anniversary of their opening. she Dave us complimentary dessert just for the occasion .. I'm always excited to see a new coffee shop pop up in Cerritos. I've been here five or six times now and can finally make a proper review. Some drinks were a hit; some missed the bar. This spot shines with their sweetened drinks and fun, unique flavors. The ambiance is also great and spacious. The modern decor is very inviting and great for photos. Service is great and friendly. I think they're still working out things and training new employees, so at times, I've waited a longer time for drinks. I would suggest following up with them because sometimes they forget to call the name and it just sits there on the counter. DRINK REVIEWS: Biscoff Latte (5/5) - in my opinion, best drink here. I get it 1/4 sweetened, and it's perfect for me. This drink comes with their cold foam/cream top, which reminds me of whipped milk. I love that it's not super fatty; it doesn't leave an oily mouthfeel like some other cream tops do. The cookie chunks on top are great. Slightly less sweet and chunkier than the cookie topper used in Flat White's similar drink. Tiramisu Latte (4.5/5) -This drink is also tasty. I enjoyed the tiramisu cream on top. I did end up reaching for the biscoff latte more; but both are good and considered my top two here. Butterscotch Latte (3/5) -a little too sweet in my opinion, and a little one dimensional but still a good drink if you like butterscotch. Blueberry Matcha Latte (3/5) -The matcha lattes here have been a miss for me. As others have mentioned in their own reviews (there's several people), the matcha tastes very watered down here. The blueberry matcha latte was the better of the two fruity matchas. It wasn't too sweet or sour, and the blueberry didn't overpower the matcha. Still, it was a bit watered down. Strawberry Matcha Latte (2/5) The reviews mentioning this drink were polarizing. The strawberry syrup tastes homemade with fresh strawberries, however, the syrup was almost too acidic for the drink. When mixed with milk and the matcha, it overpowered the drink and tasted like I was drinking a sour strawberry milk with a hint of matcha. Matcha Latte (2/5) As others have mentioned in their reviews, they couldn't taste the matcha, even with the extra upgrade for more matcha. I had to try it myself and now, I agree with the reviews. With the added 1 g matcha ($1 extra), I still couldn't taste the matcha. For a $7.50 matcha latte, you'll have a better drink at Holos, Bakers, or Stereoscope. I do think their matcha tastes better quality than Homeboy though. Matcha Latte with Matcha Cloud (4/5) -it made a huge difference ordering the matcha cloud with the matcha latte. If you like sweet matcha drinks, I recommend this. I did order this with the 1g upgrade but could not taste the difference, so I think the drink would be fine with the regular matcha proportions. Most of the matcha flavor comes from the cloud. I recommend to get the matcha latte itself less sweet or unsweetened, since the cloud is already sweet. For some reason, I also think their simple syrup somewhat masks the delicate flavor of their matcha. Regular Unsweetened Latte (3.5/5) - standard latte. They use the coffee roaster, Be Bright. I think their espresso is just OK. Nothing great or complex. A little bit weak. I'd say slightly less tasty than Counter Culture beans (Homeboy uses these) and on the same level as Common Room Roasters (Mono uses these). I recommend Holos, Bakers, Solid, or Seven Syllables for really good espresso. Be Bright's decaf is pretty solid. I appreciate they carry decaf beans as an option. Overall, great addition to the many coffee shops here in the Cerritos/Artesia! Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

The Hojicha Latte here was super good. I ordered my drink with oat milk and there was no extra charge. The Hojicha came through very well and the oat milk made it even better. There are a handful of small tables for two, a larger table with a lot of seating, and bar chair seating. The ambiance is nice and a lot of people are usually hanging out here. read more
Came here for a work team meeting. The vibes were vibing. And I really enjoyed my hot matcha with almond milk even though it was a hot day lol they also had a few nice MERCH items for sale. That forest green windbreaker was pretty dope. read more

If you haven't tried the Strawberry Shortcake Matcha, you are seriously missing out--it's the perfect balance of earthy and sweet. I also always grab a slice of their basque cheesecake; it's incredibly creamy and high-quality. The croffles are still my kids favorite and we keep ordering them. I've recently loved ordering the Hojicha latte! It is very nutty and smooth! I'm glad they keep offering more drinks and pastries so I can keep coming back. Fair warning: it does get pretty packed, especially on weekends! However, the staff is efficient and friendly that the wait never feels like a chore, I don't mind the wait. :) read more
8th Symphony Coffee is known for all things caffeinated and pastries. It's located in a busy strip mall. You can usually find parking but you have to be a little patient. The shop is pretty spacious, casual and chic. The staff are pretty nice although it does take them some time to make your drinks and prepare your food. I came on a Saturday around noon and there was a line and waited another 15 minutes after for our drinks. I came for one of their speciality drinks. They have speciality items like the tiramisu latte, matcha cloud latte and butterscotch latte. I got their strawberry matcha cloud which their fermented organic oatmilk and it was pretty good. The cloud part on top wasn't super creamy and just gave it a more milk consistency. I got my drink 50% sweet and it turned out perfect. I also got to taste their tiramisu latte which they kinda messed up but ended up fixing. I thought it was also pretty decent. Overall 8th symphony is a pretty solid coffee/matcha place that I would stop by to grab at. read more

This place was just okay. Was pretty excited to try it out as their strawberry matcha looks good. It seems like from the pictures they changed up their recipe as before it seemed like they used strawberry puree and now strawberry milk which takes a way a lot. The flavor was also just okay not much to it. read more
I came here two days in a row, it's that good! Congrats to 8th Symphony for their recent opening last year; you can tell this is a fan favorite just by stopping in the area. Their tables are crowded with students studying. Inside, there's a good amount of seating while still being spacious. The aesthetic is very clean and modern. I initially saw this shop on Instagram reels, so I had to try it while I was in the area. I'm not drinking caffeine right now, so I got the strawberry milk, which was perfectly sweet and didn't taste artificial. My girlfriend fell in love with the matcha and said it was a 5/5. Also, we tried the biscoff waffle and it was sooo good, the biscoff was subtle and the whipped cream was made in house I believe. Support this family/Asian-owned coffee shop! read more

This coffee shop was perfect. After stepping inside, I felt like I was at a fancy social club. The interior is classy and clean. Love how aesthetically pleasing it was to be there. There were seats everywhere, and everybody is just having a great time studying, chatting with a friend, and enjoying their drink in hand. I know this sounds silly to say, but I actually felt like I belonged here. That's how nice everybody was! Even the fellow customers inside smiled and even said thank you when opening the door, or insisting I order first because they don't know what to get! And I can't blame them! There's so many great things on the menu! Everything looked and sounded delicious. I feel like just being in the store puts everybody in a good mood. I had the tiramisu with a lady finger. Phenomenal. I love sweet, and this was literally perfect level sweet. I told myself I would come back and grab merch after a few visits, so I will definitely be back again soon! You guys are awesome! Lacking my morning coffee, I decided to forgo the usual homemade brew and visit a beloved spot from Yelp instead. As I walked in, I noticed a lack of greetings, which was a bit off-putting. I snapped a few photos and decided to treat myself to a cinnamon roll and a hot biscotti, asking for my pastry to be warmed up. To my dismay, what I received was a cold biscotti alongside a pastry that, while warm to the touch, was only semi-warm inside. Despite the bustling atmosphere, I was fortunate enough to find a seat where I could de-stress and unwind. Now, here's my Yelp minute: - Drink: Very sweet, 3/5 - Pastry: Semi-soft yet a bit hard, 3/5 - Cleanliness: 5/5 - Customer Service: 3/5 As for whether I'll return--unfortunately, I don't think so. read more
I stopped by this location to try out the tiramisu coffee and matcha. The location has plenty of parking in a large parking lot with other businesses. The decor inside is very cute and has seating for work space, if needed. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Now, back to the drinks .... The tiramisu was tasty. Definitely worth trying. My daughter enjoyed the matcha, we will absolutely return and try the other drinks on the menu. read more

You have to try the tiramisu cloud latte, it's a must. They ask have amazing savory and sweet pastries, my favorite is the Oreo croffles. They also have an amazing cloud matcha latte. The space is so pretty, well thought design and staff are amazing! read more

Cute aesthetics inside. Staff is very kind and friendly - especially if you're not sure what to get. I came here with my bestfriend on a Saturday afternoon and it was as busy as I thought it would be. It was still crowded inside but no line to order. We also did not wait too long for our orders. We got a tiramisu latte and a matcha latte. Both were so creamy and delicious. The tiramisu latte is def tasted like a tiramisu and the espresso flavor was on point. Love when I can taste the coffee and not just sugar and cream top. The matcha latte was very creamy and milky. Both drinks were solid and would come again for these drinks. read more
Decided to come here after a nice walk along the riverbed. There was a car meet and we had to park elsewhere but this place is surrounded by plenty of parking spaces. We ended up getting a Tiramisu and Biscoff Iced Latte, your choice of milk. Both came out really good and you can really taste the flavor and the coffee itself wasn't too sweet, so the toppings balanced it out. Really love the inside of this place, very modern and welcoming. Went this past Friday afternoon around 12:30. Was hoping to study there and they have a nice study area but it was already full because of that! Super clean and open space with a restroom as well. Cool merch available too. Server wasn't the friendliest. I got a matcha cloud latte. The matcha itself didn't have that deep of a matcha flavor and it was a little too milky for my liking. The matcha foam also didn't have a rich matcha flavor, and it was medium-sweet. read more

My eye doctor recommended this cute coffee shop so I experienced it on a Saturday morning and it was lively with large groups enjoying their weekend hang. Since I already had coffee earlier, I opted for one of their specialty tea drinks. I had the London Fog with Oatmilk and it was delicious! The staff was friendly and drinks were made quick. The first thing I'll say is if you get the Tiramisu latte, have napkins ready because it's a messy drink. I was going back and forth between the Tiramisu and Vanilla Bean. I went with the Tiramisu and it was just ok. It definitely looked better than it tasted, unfortunately. The lady finger was also hard as a rock, definitely wasn't fresh. Service was fine. I love it here so much! I have came here quite a few times already. I have tried their biscoff latte , tiramisu latte, matcha, and americanos and it's so good! Definitely my fav go to coffee shop plus the owner is so cute! read more
strawberry matcha cream cloud: 7.5/10 i got it with oat milk and it was not overly sweet. it tasted light and refreshing. the cream on top was light and not overpowering. the matcha isn't as strong as the strawberry but it still tastes good. overall, the place is spacious with a few seating tables. service was quick and we received our drink right away, there was no line and there wasn't that many people inside. it's a nice spot to just study or relax. this was a good place to try but i wouldn't go out of my way to get it, only if it's nearby and it's convenient. read more

Is it dog friendly? As in, can I pop in with my pup to place an order with him next to me then leave after getting it type of dog friendly?
I would say so. I've seen some people come in and out with their pups after receiving their order. I think so long as they're not disruptive during the visit.
