We first visited 90 Ninety on a Monday evening, only to find out they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. But, that didn't keep us away. We revisited on a Sunday evening (Father's Day, in fact), to our absolute delight. From generous portions, incredible social hour prices, great atmosphere, and beyond-tasty foods, we were so very impressed. For $40 after tax (no alcohol was consumed), 3 adults ate to pure fullness and brought 3 FULL containers of food home. This is unheard of! We selected the spinach dip, chicken nachos, and buffalo cauliflower off of the social hour menu. Once they arrived just minutes later, we could not believe the portion sizes for such reasonable prices. Everything under $10 each! My husband ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich as well, knowing full well we couldn't finish all the food, unfortunately. He said it wasn't super spicy, but had a great flavor. The side of french fries were delicious. Our waitress and the food runner were SO polite, kind, quick, and had great personalities. We will be back without a doubt... probably this week! read more

On July 3rd looking to hear Ilive entertainment 90 Ninety Bar was the place. This Suncoast restaurant and bar recently renovated had a very nice crowd. Also live entertainment, I love their fried Califlower served with blue cheese and hot sauce both on the side still happy hour for and drinks at 7pm. The musician played contemporary music really nice. Clean and spacious, each group was distanced yet could see and hear the entertainer, a must got to 7-9pm. They also offer Happy Hour pricing tor good and drinks earlier without the entertainment. read more

Super disappointed that you can't order food to go over the phone. This is the first restaurant I've come across that doesn't allow you to do so. You have to physically go to the bar & order your food then wait for them to give you a call to pick it up. Chill space, a very affordable reverse Happy Hour, and live music... yes please. A search on yelp of "Reverse Happy Hour" yielded me a few spots but nothing that looked as good as 90 Ninety. I did not know it was located inside the Suncoast Casino until i drove there, and i thought it was a mistake till we actually went in. The decor is not what you would expect at this very dated casino, as its more fresh and modern then the rest of the Suncoast. Seating is plentiful, nice outdoor patio, and super cheap eats for RHH, i recommend the Ahi Poke Nachos. I think the relaxed vibe, and live music is what made this place ideal for a light bite and conversation. I will return.... oh and do park in the front of Suncoast as its right on the front of the building, i parked in the garage and had to walk through the smoke filled Casino (bleh). read more

I hate writing negative reviews but when an establishment strikes out on all levels, then I'm compelled to share ONLY because we are officially done with Suncoast and 90 Ninety Bar & Grill. The hostess was unfriendly, "live" music was horrendous because she forgot her words, song selection was not suitable/depressing. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza and the drinks were watered down (they changed it from a cocktail glass to a regular water glass, which no longer had the same taste b/c the ratio is now off). Very disappointed since we thought we found a local spot where we can listen to music, have cocktails and good food. Our date night ended with us being hungry and just ended up going home and making our own cocktails overlooking our own strip view. read more

This a great addition to the suncoast! We came for Social Hour and had their pizzas and they are legit! They use fresh ingredients and are made fresh and can't beat the price! Such a cute setting as well! Well done! We had the meet lovers and the BBQ chicken and both were delicious! They also have a small drink happy hour selection of a few beers, Wells drinks etc. their menu has pizza, salads, burgers and several other options. Remarkably well rounded bar and gastropub in a peculiar location . . . It's surprising to find a trendy and progressive restaurant at the Suncoast. Nonetheless, 90 Ninety Bar + Grill is a fresh and welcome addition to the property. The menu is accessible with common favorites such as nachos, burgers, pizzas, and comfort food sandwiches. If you're feeling upscale, there are entrees such as the steak frites or grilled salmon which are more than a match for the steakhouse offerings (SC Prime). The bar offers an impressive selection of craft beers (for it's size). The lead bartender, Josh, is a true mixologist. If you're craving a hand crafted cocktail, Josh has you covered. The restaurant is dark Monday and Tuesday. Happy hour is 4-6 and 9 to close with food and drink specials. All day Sunday you can get half price draft beer and pizza. There's live music weekend evenings. Here's the nitty part. I've read the other reviews. Bottom line, you can have two different experiences at this one restaurant. If your goal is cheap booze and cheap eats for happy hour, your options are limited. You're not going to get a half price steak. The happy hour specials are a great value, but they don't reflect the full range or quality of the bar or menu. For that, you'll have to dig into your pocket and order some full price items. But you'll be rewarded with food and drink that punches well above it's weight. What keeps 90 Ninety from being five stars? The pizza is very meh. The crust is generally undercooked and dominates the flavor profile. The menu states that they use a San Marazano tomato sauce (big plus), but they use so little that the wonderful flavor of these tomatoes is absent from the finished product. The pizza will fill you up, but I would never pay full price for this menu item. Since the pizzas figure heavily during social hour, that's a big ding to the rating. As well, there are a few places in the area that do a vastly superior neopolitan pizza (one which also does half price pizzas on Sundays). Part two, the bar wants to be a craft cocktail destination but lacks some key ingredients. The rum and tequila offerings are thin and the whiskey list is headlined by Basil Hayden (dark rye not available). Speciality liqueurs such as Amaro seem to be absent. And the lack of Luxardo cherries is a glaring oversight. I also recognize that the typical customer may not be looking for the price points that match these offerings. Nonetheless, it is these items that prevent the 90 Ninety bar from being truly exceptional. read more

Our server was excellent I forget her name but she had short blond hair. We got a comp from the casino for $80 and my party of 4 just ordered a bunch of stuff on the menu, didn't pay attention to the price, and everything came to under $80- we were very surprised. It was good food, not gormet obviously but it was very decent for the price. They have a guy on guitar singing covers of songs some nights and it's fun. I'm a waitress too and if I had to deal with some of the people at my table I'd be pulling my hair out but she did great and had a smile the whole time. I've been to the bar a couple of times now and it's a nice new spot in the Suncoast Casino. Happy hour could be better since they don't offer any of their specialty cocktails at a discount but do have fair selection of beers available. Neither time I was there did they bring out the wheel to spin. I've had the buffalo cauliflower which was a little over battered in my opinion and I also had a Grilled Cheese Cheese Burger. that last one was a surprise because I didn't quite get that the bun it came on was an actual grilled cheese. I'll most likely hit it up again the next time I'm at Suncoast and if you are there, check it out. But I wouldn't go out of my way to get there. It's a bit of a shame that they didn't go with a Bailiwick like in the Orleans there instead of doing this new concept. read more

Solid choice for good bar food! Came in for a late dinner, with friends, and was not disappointed. There weren't many people in the restaurant, but the service was a little slow. It was friendly, but slow. The interior was that of a nice bar environment. I had the 90 Ninety Signature Burger, which was excellent. Good flavor, and portion size. There isn't much else I can say about the restaurant, other than I would have no issues coming back. I live close, so I might be back sooner than I think. read more

First impression? WOW. Loved it. I went a few minutes after they opened. Service was very quick. I however was not greeted by the two girls standing in the front. They were busy talking. It wasn't until I was almost to the bar did they acknowledge me, then proceeded to ask if I was here for the bar or if my guest And I wanted a table. I chose the bar because I was already there... the bartender that was there was very efficient and had good, happy vibes. He got our drinks pretty quick and ordered our food. Food only took maybe 10 minuets to come out to us which was incredibly fast. Loved that! I loved the giant pretzel and the pizza! I think my favorite drink was the Jack Daniel's Strawberry Lemonade. However ladies, 90Ninety is NOT the place to gather your girlfriends for a Happy Hour martini. Gents, be prepared that your date may not be able to get her favorite cocktail at a happy hour price. The martinis are a standard 2 ounce size...though served in a lovely glass. We had never been in the area before and just by chance, we stopped at the Suncoast. The 90 Ninety Bar was not open yet but we waited about 10 minutes because the guy told is it was the best place to get a drink. The guy, Josh... was the bartender and he was right! Great new place!! We have been here a few times & enjoy it very much. Kelly has been our waitress a couple of times & is very good at what she does. We enjoyed our time with her. We have also been there a few times when Cory Young has performed & he puts on a great show for this venue. My only change as of right now that I would love to see is that I have had the lettuce wraps a couple of times & they taste great, but I do not like the type of lettuce they are using since it always seems to fall apart when you pick it up. Other restaurants use iceberg lettuce & for lettuce wraps, they hold up the best. I also love your patio & it would be great if you could possibly do a cigar/whiskey tasting night once a month. I sat at the bar on Saturday night, I was promptly greeted a bartender fellow by the name of Josh. Josh is a cool young cat who confidently exhibits his flair bartending abilities flipping bottles around and serving up stiff drinks and hearty entrees with style never missing a beat. There was in fact a bartending team on duty this particular evening. Along with Josh was the yin to his yang: A professional and charming fellow named Jerry. A tad older than young Josh, Jerry had a different style of service that was equally precise and efficient. I specially enjoyed watching Jerry craft a beautiful Tito's dirty martini. Jerry was attentive and pleasant and these two gentlemen bartenders worked together as an unstoppable dynamic duo with synchronicity. Never once did I need for anything and my Mountain dew stayed full. I ordered the shrimp jambalaya dish which was to die for. Love love love! This place opened a few months ago and we finally got to have a late dinner here. The first time we went here was just so my husband and our cousin from Tennessee can grab a quick drink before a movie. They have their happy house special for a great variety of drinks and food. I like how it's split hours too. I'd have to come back to update you on the time but I know one of it is from 9pm to closing. We ordered the Ahi Poke Nachos, Pretzels, Burgers & Wings. Of course everyone had shots of tequila and some beers. The Ahi Poke Nachos were delicious! It's on their happy hour menu. Where to start! I fell in love with this new spot, very welcoming. You walk in and the ambiance is so relaxing while live music is playing in the background. Not sure If its every day but we were lucky to have a country music singer on stage love me some acoustic performances. So this place recently opened. It was a complete surprise as I was going to the hotel and casino to use their movie theater which is pretty nice. This bar/high-end restaurant offers delicious gourmet burgers sandwiches salads etc. their drink menu is pretty decent, they do have a happy hour from 3 to 6 PM. The staff are genuinely pleasant. The bartender... I forget his name...is hilarious. They have a small stage that's perfect for small acoustic sets. The gentleman that was playing the night I ate there was doing acoustic versions of eagles tunes Rolling Stones, and the Beatles. I think this is my new secret spot guys! The Suncoast has been hiding this gem for sure (not really, since you can see the balcony from Rampart- Ha!) But Really! Great Food Americana with a gourmet pub spin and a swanky but modern decor that keeps you gazing at all of the neat finds. They have a stage and live music on the weekends! We came during the week for a quick date night and before a movie so it was crunch time!
