Wow. Fantastic evening. The service was amazing. The espresso martinis were on point. Can't wait until next time

Steak well done. I ordered medium.

I ordered the steak and eggs online with eggs over hard and hash browns O'Brien. Everything was flavorful after I added some salt and pepper. The steak wasn't chewy and it was a nice quality of steak. I would order again and give them another shot to cook the steak to temp.

We visited for lunch on Friday with a party of three and it was a nice experience. We seated ourselves in a booth and the waiter took drink orders. The dining area is large, and dimly lit. We started with appetizers; Potato Skins, Buffalo Shrimp, and Nachos. The nachos are unique, with individually prepared chips, not just a pile. From there we ordered a Chili Burger, Steak Sandwich and Sliders. All were well prepared and tasty. The service was exceptional. The waiter and busboy were friendly, prompt and professional. The margaritas were also nice and strong. Overall, a good place to visit for food and drinks.

I have driven by this Steiner's so many times I can't count the times. There are Steiner's places in several places in Las Vegas. They all have gaming (VP at the bar area) and a standard menu with many of the itewmsd having a city/town in Nevada at the beginning of the name of the dish--a Nevada style pub. I stopped in for breakfast after an early appointment. After looking oiver the menu, I chose the Philly omelette which the menu describes as three eggs folded around a filling of tender shaved steak, grilled onions and peppers, and mixed cheeses. The coffee was poured quickly and often. This was one of the few times that I had to stop getting refills. The omelette was good but it needed to be cut with a knife to get through the shaved beef. There are condiments on each table and some cholula was just the ticket. There was a very large amount of hash brown potatoes served with omelette along with toast. The bar doesn't admit underage children so there is smoking in the restaurant. There is no separate non-smoking separated area common in many VP style places. This was a drawback for me. Now that I know how Steiner's works, I can decide if the food is worth smelling smoke.

From the moment you walk in, it has that warm, welcoming pub vibe that makes you want to stay awhile, relax, and enjoy yourself. The Guinness here is fantastic -- cold, smooth, and poured properly the way it should be. Pair that with their fish and chips and you've got the perfect comfort meal. The fish was crispy, flaky, and flavorful, and the fries were spot on. Whether you're stopping in to catch up with friends, grab a pint after work, or enjoy a hearty meal, this spot always feels consistent and inviting. Every drink I've had here has been great. I love to taste a variety of whiskies. If you order the Irish coffee, note it is served with hot coffee if that if your thing. They have happy hour (half off certain appetizers) every day of the week between 3-6pm. All of the food has been good. I have tried several dishes now. The Irish breakfast is very good. It is a decent size, you can share it with someone. It is pretty authentic. Looking to try blood pudding? No need to travel across the ocean, this pub has it and it tastes good (I travel to Ireland often). The homemade potato soup is quite tasty if you're looking for something warm. Whenever I come here with a group, we order the nachos. It is huge, and it is so good. The homemade crisps (chips) and gravy are super tasty if youre a gravy person (which I am). The Irish stew is quite good. Same with the shepherds pie. The fish and chips are also tasty. Ive ordered this multiple times and it never disappoints. The fish is a good size. I really like the beer batter on the fish. We have never been disappointed with our food. Go early to beat the crowds and take advantage of their happy hour. They also have sports games playing. Oh yeah - one side of the building has some casino games and a bar, the other side has the restaurant and a bar AA well. There is also some type of banquet room (i haven't asked about that), but I bet you can reserve it for a larger party. Great spot.

I am an active player sometimes I win, break even or lose however as of recently I've had issues getting my food and drink comped I almost always order from the player menu and many times I have to remind the bartender to take the discount off the bill. Today was the worst example of this I had 3 drinks within the space of 40 minutes or so with active play I just so happened to break even in this time and I had a meal from the players menu. The bartender Juan while friendly and attentive gave me a bill with no drinks comped and full price on the players menu when I asked him about this and tried to get the drinks taken off he told me it worked like every other bar that I had to play $1 or more a hand and lose $20 per drink but I broke even so they aren't comped. Well that's not how any other bar works in all my time playing at various bars including this one my drinks have been comped whether I win or lose and I've always played 1.25 a hand or more so this was perplexing that not a single drink I ordered was covered after almost an hour of continuous play. I eventually got him to at least give me the players discount but still paid for every single drink. Perhaps I had too many drinks within the time frame but I should have at least had one of them comped I've never run into a bar that doesn't comp drinks for play it's just so standard but if this is the new policy of the Tavern I will find someplace else to gamble. Getting drinks comped is the bare minimum of a gaming bar if their policy has changed it is no longer worth it to visit and I would recommend any of the many competitors to this bar just for this factor alone. I'm assuming it is the bartenders discretion in which case I've never had an issue with Ted this is my first time seeing the other bartender Juan I will not be returning when he is there.

Let's just say that Rí Rá Irish Pub at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place was a hit that they came back two more times before they went back home. Service was efficient, friendly and spot on! The food items we thoroughly enjoyed included: *Corned Beef Wontons *Potato and Leek Soup *Traditional Potato Cakes *Guinness BBQ Burger *Beef and Guinness Stew (so flavorful) *Corned Beef and Cabbage *Irish Chicken Curry (surprising new favorite dish) *Fish and Chips (faithful favorite) *Whiskey Caramel Bread Pudding The surprise of the evening was the Corned Beef Wontons - seasoning on the corned beef had a surprise finishing kick that complemented the Thai Chili Sauce. And if you still have room or have a small group to share, definitely recommend the Whiskey Caramel Bread Pudding! But order it early as it takes 25 minutes to prepare. One thing we pondered to ask for was if additional slices of their Irish Soda Bread - it was so good and hard pressed to not finish the bread before the stew or the soup - maybe next time! We both had fish and chips on our brains, and I know Flowing Tide in the north has yummy fish and chips, so I was hoping this Vegas location would too. The menus for all the locations in both Northern and Southern Nevada are posted online. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. The order comes with 4 nice pieces of crispy deep fried fish, along with malt vinegar of course. The fish was super hot and tasty seasoned at the table with salt and malt vinegar. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! If I'm down here in Vegas again, I'll have to give some of these more upscale items a try, unless Flowing Tide decides to bring them to Reno locations.
