On my latest stop here, while Diane opted for an order of cheesy Potato Skins, I had a really filling and also cheesy Tuna Melt on Grilled Sourdough with crispy Brew City Fries and a juicy pickle slice. But first I enjoyed a Bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup filled with tender strips of chicken and thick short noodles. We sat on comfortable faux leather seats in a dining room off the bar that was crowded on a Saturday night, and received very good service. Met up with a friend today for lunch and it was rarely busy for a Thursday. We sat to the left and Carlos was our server and he was amazing! Very friendly and helped us wit selecting some items since we couldn't decide. We ended up getting nachos, pork chops, steak sandwich, and a salad and it was all delicious. Overall great vibes and even with smoking and gambling in the same area, there is no distractions at all. Really good idea to come try this place out! read more

Had brunch this morning at 9 am. We both ordered Cheyenne's and the eggs were perfectly prepared (over medium), the bacon was delicious and crispy, the hash browns buttery and wonderful, the toast and hot tea were first rate. The music was awesome and the mood in the restaurant was upbeat and patrons were smiling. The BEST part was that our waitress said she missed seeing us and SHE REMEMBERED OUR ORDER! She even remembered where we usually sit and that we took cream in our hot tea. Note to Roger: We love this place... again! read more

Great service from Kristina and amazing food as well. Chicken Fried Steak is my favorite of any I have had. The portion size is crazy. Love this place!!! When I first saw this place, I thought of how close it is to my new home. I just moved here about 2 months ago and wanted to try this place out. I actually saved this bar as a place I wanted to visit. Well, I went to this bar twice within a couple days and sat down at the bar waiting for about five minutes each time. This is a way for me to gauge the quality of service. I didn't get a greeting from anyone. Not an acknowledgement to order anything. I just sat there and waited but nothing. This happened both times. If this is how customers get treated then it's not a place I want to go. It seems like they're more partial to regulars versus a new customer who might become a regular. read more

I patronize the Steiners on Cheyenne and I love all the staff and they couldn't be more helpful. And the food is outstanding. I had out of town guests who are elderly and I wanted to pick up three corned beef and cabbage dinners to go. It was ready in a heartbeat. It was excellent quality. I have driven by this Steiner's so many times I can't count the times. There are Steiner's places in several places in Las Vegas. They all have gaming (VP at the bar area) and a standard menu with many of the itewmsd having a city/town in Nevada at the beginning of the name of the dish--a Nevada style pub. I stopped in for breakfast after an early appointment. After looking oiver the menu, I chose the Philly omelette which the menu describes as three eggs folded around a filling of tender shaved steak, grilled onions and peppers, and mixed cheeses. The coffee was poured quickly and often. This was one of the few times that I had to stop getting refills. The omelette was good but it needed to be cut with a knife to get through the shaved beef. There are condiments on each table and some cholula was just the ticket. There was a very large amount of hash brown potatoes served with omelette along with toast. The bar doesn't admit underage children so there is smoking in the restaurant. There is no separate non-smoking separated area common in many VP style places. This was a drawback for me. Now that I know how Steiner's works, I can decide if the food is worth smelling smoke. read more

We were there at 8:30 am for breakfast and surprisingly only a few customers. Steiner's has first class food... fair prices... wonderful staff... and nice atmosphere... but again, the music was way too loud. The room only had about 8 other customers who ALL have gray hair ... yet the music they play is the same depressing teenage autotune music they play at Walmart... and it was so loud, I couldn't even hear the wait person. It makes no sense to me. What happened to the 60s and 70s music they have been playing the last couple of years? We loved being uplifted by the Beatles, Supremes, Elton John, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, Rolling Stones, and other familiar music. read more

We attempted to stop by for Sunday breakfast as we do every Sunday for 20 years and were informed quite curtly that we only have 30 minutes to eat because they were getting ready for the Super Bowl party. This was at NOON. The game doesnt start for 5 hours. You just lost a loyal 20 year customer Steiner's. We won't be back. read more

So here's the thing most people don't think of a pub in Vegas; as a pub usually means it's been there for 100 years or more. Steiner's changed that by calling it a Nevada style pub and although I've been here before the last few times I have been here I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the service and generally the feel of a local pub. The menu items are plentiful and it pays to ask what the server likes. The last few times I've ordered something different and I've never been disappointed. The pictures below will take you through my choices. Bottom line check them out again and again as they have a deep menu. If you're a sports fan they represent all the sporting events and have giveaways etc while they're going on. (Definitely try the pickle fries they really are the best I've had.) read more

Best bar food in Vegas and 10/10 bartenders. Been going the last two years and have never had a bad experience. Would be 5 stars but machines are sooo tight here since 2025 rolled in. It seems like the whole bar gets unlucky and then about once a month one lucky goer hits for $10k. If you like those odds this is your place, if you want to play a couple of bucks to enjoy your night this is definitely not. If you play enough to get free play the first level is at 500 points or $500 played so also not in favor of someone who doesn't want to drain their bank account for some free play. I went back and forth on posting this review as I would go 3-4 nights a week earlier in the year and have dwindled down but after 6 months of no change within their machines I feel it is fair to be open an honest. read more

This is one of our go to places when we are out and about. Comfortable, reliable, friendly and reasonable. You can get a booth that is far away from the bar. Television screens are all over so you can catch any game you want. The food is classic pub grub and it is always good. They have weekly specials as well. This is definitely a locals' spot but if you are a visitor you'd be welcome. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food comes out promptly. read more

St. Patty's Corned Beef and Cabbage was a big disappointment compared to last year's which was a spectacular meal which was prepared perfectly. This year the cabbage was scant and the corned beef was overcooked and riddled with fat. The potatoes though were under-cooked and so were not very tasty. The ambiance was very crowded and, of course, noisy which I can't really fault them for that as it is a tavern lifestyle restaurant. Anyway, we're not coming back for the next St Patty's day dinner; although another time for some, quieter, and, as a rule, great food. The service was accommodating and we did complain to the Server and to the Manager about the food quality and was offered a different meal which we declined. Atmosphere - sports bar. Lots of memories on the walls. Red brick inside looks like an Irish pub or German beer hall. Lots of TV around. Booths, tables and high tops make up the seating Food - came in for the fish and chips basket (13.99). Being from New England I'm always on the hunt for good fish and chips. Basket came out with 3 pieces of fish and a ton of fries with a side of coleslaw. Fish was good, not greasy. It was the frozen fish you get here, each piece exactly the same shape. Fries were excellent, and you get a lot of them. I ate about half and left a lot in the plate. Coleslaw was excellent, really tasty and different. Steiner's really is a neighborhood pub! I was there in the weekend and the atmosphere was lively, which I like on the weekend. I wouldn't want it deserted. The menu is huge! Pretty much anything you have a taste for is on the menu! Two personal favorites, the chicken nachos and potato skins. Let me say the chicken nachos are not your typical nachos, messy and cheese only on the top half. Here they make them so each individual chip has the perfect amount of items. Love them and they are much neater to eat! I've been here several times and even ordered pick up and the service is typically attentive and friendly. This last weekend it was really nice because the manager was making their rounds to the tables to make sure everything was going smoothly. Thanks! read more

Had a great meal for 6 of us at Steiner's on Cheyenne on August 27th. Our server was Dalton and he remembered how I like my onions to be caramelized from when we were here a month ago in early August for my sister-in-law's birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food, as usual. Even more amazing was that my sister-in-law lost a silver necklace that time and the hostess remembered us and asked if someone had lost a silver necklace. However, the burger was excellent. Overall, I was disappointed in the vibes and atmosphere compared to other breweries. The beers we tried were just okay, but the burger was really good, which has me torn on this review. Thus, 3 stars seems appropriate.

The menus for all the locations in both Northern and Southern Nevada are posted online. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. The order comes with 4 nice pieces of crispy deep fried fish, along with malt vinegar of course. The fish was super hot and tasty seasoned at the table with salt and malt vinegar. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! If I'm down here in Vegas again, I'll have to give some of these more upscale items a try, unless Flowing Tide decides to bring them to Reno locations.

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
