La Strega is such a gem in the Northwest! Known for their Italian dishes and pasta, and we got to try 5 different pasta dishes, plus the squash blossom and scallops to start. Everything was fantastic and seriously yummy. Our server was incredibly patient and accommodating with our large reservation, which made the whole experience even better. We came here for my Birthday last year and were surprised at how much we enjoyed it. I liked so much, that I requested gift certificates from my family to come back. We came back to celebrate a friend's Birthday and the experience was even more amazing than last year. We enjoyed each cocktail. Every dish tasted great. Desserts and gelato were yummy as well. Finally made our way over to La Strega to celebrate our anniversary. It was the perfect spot! While the dining room is big, it still maintains an intimate, low light, and classy feeling. Perfect for date night. I got the Vongole - this particular night, served with mussels instead of clams, and my boyfriend ordered the Stracci. These were both our first picks, so we were delighted that the waiter also recommended these two without our deliberation. We shared calamari, and ordered drinks - the negroni and Lailee. Everything so beautifully presented and the perfect portions. The pastas definitely shined. To top it off, we were so full and passed on dessert. Pasta!!! pasta!!pasta!! Omg I was craving pasta and this place delivered!! We got 4 different kinds of pasta. I'll go down from my favorite to least favorite. All of the pastas are cooked perfectly and well seasoned and flavored. All of it tastes different and so delicious in its own way. Spicy Troffie Alla Vodka $25 - it is so good!!! Not spicy at all. The flavor is smooth and the whipped ricotta mixed with the pasta and sauce made it so creamy and blends so well together. The ricotta is a bit sweet with the salty pasta sauce is so good! Highly recommend. Stracci $28 - is really delicious too. The savory braised beef cheeks with the unique flat pasta blends well together. The mushrooms are also so good with umami flavors. Squid Ink Bumbola Calimari $30 - is good too. I thought it was black long string pasta but it's kinda shelled black pasta. I didn't taste any squid ink. You can really taste the mint flavor but it's very subtle and mixes well together with the sauce. Crab & Goat Cheese Ravioli $35 - has a lemony sauce taste. The ravioli is really good but I didn't taste any crab. In my opinion, I think if I just ate this pasta, it's too lemony for me but I'm glad I got to taste all the other pastas with it. Bread service $8 - was ok. Only 4 pieces of bread with salted olive oil. The salt is on the bottom of the dip so, I had to dunk it all the way to get to the flaky salt. Service is really good. She kept checking on our table. The decor is so warm and inviting. It's beautiful. There are 2 different sections. We sat at the window tables. There are another section more inside. TBH, I've noticed that all the Asians are sat at the window tables away from the inside room section. We were all seating close together at the same section where most other non-Asians were sat inside the dining hall. There were at least 6 tables of all of us, Asians. The window table room were not even all filled. I didn't really mind, but I walked inside the dining hall to go to the restrooms and it's very very obvious. There were a lot of empty tables in the dining hall room. However all were non-Asians. I would guesstimate there were at least 5 tables used and a lot were empty. I didn't see any Asians sat inside. Le Strega was one of those meals where every dish had us saying, "Okay, that's really good." We started with the Fat Pig pizza and the Fritto Misto. The pizza was loaded with meat and flavor without feeling too heavy. The crust had a nice chew to it and I normally do not eat pizza crust, I devoured theirs! The Fritto Misto was crispy, light, and not greasy at all. The calamari, shrimp, crawfish, and artichokes disappeared pretty quickly from the table. For our entrees: We ordered the Squid Ink Bumbola Calamari. The squid ink pasta was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the spiced pomodoro sauce had just enough kick to keep going back for another bite. We also ordered the Hokkaido Scallop Cartoccio. It came with 4 large plump scallops, which were tender and paired really well with the farro and roasted cauliflower. It was a lighter dish and I wished it had a little sauce, but it was still very delicious. To drink, we had the Marrinelli Martini and an Old Fashioned. Both were well made, balanced, and strong enough to know you got your money's worth. The service was attentive, the food came out at a great pace, and nothing felt rushed. The Peruvian bay scallops are absolutely to die for! The very first bite was so flavorful that I immediately closed my eyes just to savor it. If you only order one appetizer, make it the scallops. We also tried the Spicy Pig pizza since it's one of their popular pizzas. It was good, but at the end of the day, it's still just pizza. The real standout was the Wagyu skirt steak, it was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The Stracci pasta was another favorite. Our server explained that "stracci" means "shredded paper" in Italian, and the chef actually tears the pasta into paper like pieces by hand. It was such a cool touch, and the pasta itself was incredibly flavorful. Out of everything we ordered, the Peruvian bay scallops and the Wagyu skirt steak were hands-down our favorites, and they'll definitely be our go-to dishes when we come back. The ambiance is beautiful, the service was excellent, and every staff member made the experience enjoyable. We can't wait to return! read more

What an amazing experience! We made a reservation for 5 people on a Saturday night and thank God we did because the place was packed! There was a line out the door but we were seated immediately as our table was prepared ahead of time. Our server offered us some menus and drinks while we decided on what to get. Two of us got the orecchiette and stracci and another got the gnocchi a la Vodka. We also got focaccia bread for the table and tiramisu for dessert. All the food was amazing - so fresh and delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and the mushrooms were really soft. The tiramisu did not disappoint and was a generous size to share. The focaccia bread was perfectly baked and 4 large pieces was enough for 5-6 people to share. The main dining room is larger and we were on the side which has a more intimate and cozy feeling to it but the decor of the entire place and the ambiance really sets the mood. I absolutely loved dining here, my only disappointment is that we asked the server to take a picture for us and she said she would put something down and come back but I think she forgot since I saw her walking around looking for waters to fill and walked by us several times. I had to ask her once more and then she was able to. Otherwise, this was a near perfect dining experience and I would highly recommend to anyone in the Summerlin area! read more

I've always heard great things about this spot so I was excited to try. The place is cute and staff is very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks here were very delicious. I was a little disappointed, I heard somewhere that they had some gluten free pastas so I was excited to try it. Our server said they didn't have any, I don't know if that's usual or just the day we visited. So I ended up getting the branzino which was very delish. It comes with the head and tail which I don't mind and it had great flavor and crispy skin. Everyone loved their dish. The scallop appetizer is amazing. I would def order that again. Brunch menu in May - Everything was good but I left with a slight bit of disappointment because I expected it to be great. I absolutely loved DW Bistro. Nothing that we had at this brunch was bursting with flavor. Again, nothing was bad. Everything was perfectly well cooked and fine so maybe I had set my expectations too high. Also, maybe I'm in the minority here but I hate loud music in a restaurant. I did not realize it was a DJ set brunch and you could not hear the person next to you. Service was great, we had the pleasure of meeting the mastermind behind the menu. You could tell lots of care and attention to detail were put into this. We love La Strega and will be back. Cornish hen and waffles - the Cornish hen was basic fried chicken tenders and the waffles were flat, didn't have much flavor nor did they have the crisp exterior a good waffle should have Eggs n purgatory - classic, tasted as it should Salmon - beautiful presentation, salmon cooked perfectly but neither the salmon nor the salad had any seasoning. UPDATE 4/12/26: I took a cooking class here at La Strega a couple of weeks ago, and yep, I returned for their dinner service and bought my LTP with me! We try to do date night at least once a month and I selected La Strega for our next one, although we don't live in Summerlin I've been riding the Italian food train for a while and La Strega's food is just phenomenal. We had a reservation booked for 4/11/26 at 7:30pm, but when we arrived, we were told that it would be a couple of minutes for our table to be cleaned and ready because they were really busy. They don't have an actual waiting area inside, but you can wait outside, where they have some pretty comfortable chairs and couches. After about 10 minutes, we decided to go back inside to check on the status of our reservation, and we were told that it was almost ready and would be a few minutes more. We got a nice, cozy table in the middle of the restaurant near the kitchen area. For drinks, I couldn't decide whether to get a cocktail or a glass of wine. Eventually I settled on their Chalk Hill Sonoma 2021 Chardonnay. My LTP got their Priscilla cocktail and he got it not because of the flavors involved, but because Priscilla was the name of one of his parents' dogs. I'm a big Chardonnay fan and I'm happy that I selected this drink because it was pretty good. Their bread was amazing and some of the best bread I've had in an Italian restaurant! With prosciutto served on the same plate, the bread had asparagus baked inside and came with ricotta cheese and olive oil separately. Ricotta cheese is that type of cheese you break apart yourself, so we could add as much as we could. Very good thus far. Our entrees consisted of the pomodoro pasta and the rigatoni bolognese pasta, with Parmesan cheese served on the side. So amazing! My LTP finished his rigatoni but I had to take my pomodoro home as leftovers. He loved the rigatoni so much that he wanted to come back and order another plate when we returned home. I decided to eat here on a whim after seeing it featured on social media. I had a hankering for authentic Italian and something new. La Strega did not disappoint. I was seated at the bar, which had comfortable seating with ample space. Bar service was impeccable, the bar tender not only placed my order in a timely manner but also gave the exemplary quality of service i would have anticipated at a table. I ordered the maine lobster spaghetti paired with a glass of chianti. The pasta, sauce & lobster were succulent, melt in your mouth deliciousness & the chianti (i am biased it is my favorite wine) was a delectable pairing. I unfortunately had to pass on their dessert menu because my main dish was absolutely perfect. Definitely will be going back. read more

Husband and I decided to have date night at La Strega so we made reservations for a Saturday at 6:30PM. When we arrived, we had to wait for a bit until our table was ready. It was extremely packed that night! In the meantime, we sat at the bar and ordered some drinks. My husband decided on the Lillie (ketel one peach & orange blossom, apricot, prosecco, and fever-tree sparkling grapefruit) while I decided to go for the Rihanna (toasted coconut rum, blanc vermouth, banana, passionfruit, pineapple, lime, and vanilla). Both drinks were super good -- light, fruity, and refreshing. When our table was ready, the host came to show us the way. Since it was our first time at La Strega, we decided to get a few dishes to share: Grape & White Onion Focaccia - we ordered this with their whipped mascarpone butter and honestly, it didn't need it. The bread could be eaten on it's own and it would be good enough. The grapes in the bread made it really delicious. The only down side is that it was a bit oily so it did get heavy. Little Gem & Kale Caesar - creamy & salty with refreshing bites of lettuce. The anchovies are typically really salty but theirs was perfect and added a nice depth to the salad. Peruvian Bay Scallops - this came with truffle aioli, smoked trout roe, and crumbs. My friend said their scallops were really good but maybe she meant a different dish because I was not expecting what actually came out. While the scallops were cooked very well, they were too tiny for my preferences. Not a favorite. Stracci - braised beef cheeks, mushrooms, pecorino, and sage. Stracci is a type of torn pasta, it looks like pieces of lasagna that was cut up into pieces. This dish was extremely delicious and flavorful. The pasta was cooked well and it was our favorite of the evening. Fat Pig - n'duja sauce, sausage, soppressata, cotto, prosciutto, and fior de latte. While their pizza is good, I don't think it's anything special. I think after a while, it also got a bit too salty due to the amount of different cured meats on it. I think if the pizza came with some veggies as well, it would be more balanced. Service that night was a bit slow and our server did apologize for that. So if you do go during a packed night, keep that in mind! Ambience is very cute -- great for date nights. While everything was decent, the pasta is the only dish we would order again. Not sure if La Strega would be at the top of our list the next time we want to have Italian but if we ever want pasta, we'd definitely come back. read more

This should be a ten star out of five restaurant....AMAZING experience. Always looking for something new, we were in Summerlin and I had it down to three places...I picked this one for the menu items...and it exceeded my expectations. We arrived at 5 pm, just getting dark, which made the restaurant even more beautiful inside...we ordered two glasses of prosecco, knowing that would pair with what we already picked out on the menu. Our server was about to make suggestions, and we kindly told her we already knew what we wanted. I got the ricotta ravioli with sage butter and I could detect a beautiful lemon in the sauce...this brought a tear to my eye. The pasta was so fresh and the sauce was so delightful. Hub loves Cacio de pepe and he went for that. This was also done beautifully with the fresh pasta and a sauce that did not overwhelm the pasta. The both of us were so intrigued by our food and talked it up to each other, that I noticed a few employees were taking note....they might have thought we were food critics...ha ha ha. As other patrons entered, I noticed the service was impeccable...subtle pulling out of chairs, chair purses for oversized bags...a staff that would make the strip blush....these guys have your experience down...and you will not be paying the resort corridor prices. We finished with a dessert...the campfire panna cotta...what a marvelous finish to a meal. Another wonderful meal at La Strega! Looks like they listened to the feedback about the dinner lighting because it is so much better than our last visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Seasonal peach caprese, seasonal corn and ricotta raviolini, menu staple orrechiette, and of course the focaccia bread service were all amaze, amaze, amaze. Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening with a reservation made on OpenTable at 530p. It was a rainy evening but had arrived on time and was promptly seated as soon as we arrived. We were sat at a 2 person table by the window, which was nice to see the "rainy" weather. The waitress who served our table was SUPER friendly and recommended quite a few items, which we had actually ended up picking. We wanted to try a variety of items between the 2 of us, so we ordered the following FRITTO MISTO is fried calamari, rock shrimp, crawfish, and artichokes with a creamy dipping sauce. This was a nice variety of fried items. Instead of JUST having calamari, it has other fried items as well, which was nice. Our favorite was actually the fried artichokes. I think they were the oil-preserved artichokes that were deep fried so they had a little "tartness". STRACCI pasta is "ripped" lasagna pasta with braised beef cheeks, mushrooms, pecorino, and sage. The waitress had described it as "ripped lasagna pasta" but these looked like "cut" triangle sheets of probably the lasagna pasta. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The braised beef cheeks were decent and tender/shredded but our favorite was actually the mushrooms. Had a nice bite to them and good flavor. GRILLED SPANISH BRANZINO with caper salmoriglio and crispy herbs. My friend and I love eating fish so this sounded yummy. There is an option to have the head and tail removed too, for those who are sensitive tho that. They DO remove the main spine bone though, which is nice BUT take care for other bones still. Per Google, CAPER SALMORIGLIO is a zesty, bright southern Italian sauce for grilled or seared foods, combining the classic salmoriglio ingredients of lemon, olive oil, garlic, and herbs with the briny flavor of capers. It is particularly popular in Sicily and Calabria. Initially i had brushed off the CAPER SALMORIGLIO to get a taste of the fish itself. There were some "burnt" aspects of the fish but overall, the fish was great and fresh. The CAPER SALMORIGLIO was actually quite tasty and is like as described! Bright and zesty, which is nicely paired with the fish. Instead of getting another dish, we had opted to get some desserts instead. TIRAMISU ALLA BETTY includes mascarpone mousse and coffee gelato We're both fans of a specific tiramisu a local bakery used to make and had been on the search for something similar to it. Although it was not similar, this tiramisu was still pretty decent. On the menu, it says it comes with coffee gelato but we're pretty sure it was definitely a scoop of the SAME gelato we had separately ordered (straciatella) STRACCIATELLA gelato Service was great. Water was frequently filled and plates were cleared soon after finishing. Timing of the food was quite accurate without little "wait time" between dishes. Random info. The credit card I had planned on using at the restaurant had fraud 2 days prior to visit. I had called the restaurant to see if "tap to pay" was an option and it was. Beautiful and contemporary restaurant located in a plaza. There is parking available in the lot and I would suggest making a reservation as it tends to get busy. Service was great and they were very attentive to whatever we needed. I love that the server asked if there were any food allergies prior to us ordering. We ordered the spicy pig pizza, rigatoni bolognese, brussel sprouts, green beans and tiramisu. Our food came out quickly and I would recommend getting the brussel sprouts, green beans and pizza. Pasta was great as well but I have had other pastas at other establishments that were not as costly. I would probably skip the dessert as it is more on the pricier side for a small portion. I love La Strega and have been here many, many times- it's always been a favorite of mine. The menu is incredible, especially the pastas, and the chicken cacciatore this visit was 12/10. I wanted to lick the plate clean! That said, this visit was disappointing in a couple of ways. A truffle pasta special was offered without any mention of price and it ended up being $90....for a bowl of pasta. Do I understand that truffles are expensive? Of course. Could I reasonably anticipate a $90 pasta (esp when the most expensive thing on the menu is half that?) Ansolutely not. That lack of transparency is not okay and really bothered me. Another odd (and uncomfortable) issue: there was hard plastic coming up off the edge of our round table that was literally cutting my arm. I had to put my napkin over it just to be able to rest my arm on the table. The food remains excellent, and I hope management addresses these issues so La Strega can continue to be the standout restaurant it has always been! read more

Service was very good, but the food was a bit hit or miss and expensive for what you get. Definitely pass on the egg drop soup- bland and not very interesting. Best dish was the Japanese eggplant Milanese. This was flavorful and crispy. The linguine condole was very solid, as was the steak. Others in our party enjoyed the meatballs with polenta. Pasta pomodoro was very basic. Hamachi was well-liked also. Gluten-free folks: they do not have any gluten free pasta or pizza. As for the food, I would say the bread was delicious. the oysters were a bit sour but they were a special that day, they tasted fresh but the sauce on top was just a bit too much. The meatball appetizer was very tender and good. The sauce/ mashed potatoes with the meatballs was super good . Then for the pastas , i would definitely recommend the vodka pasta. Review for the 19 July event (3 1/2 - 4 stars) La Strega in Summerlin launched a new experience called After Dark, where from 9-11pm the restaurant would assume the character of late night Naples with pizza and light bites brought by Chef Partner Gina Marinelli and Pizzaiola Erica Bell of Chinatown's Double Zero Pie & Pub, plus charcuterie and alcohol, for $60 all-in*. Food was very good to great. There were approximately seven varieties of pizzas on the buffet, from cheese, pepperoni, and supreme, to shrimp puttanesca and squash blossom; thin to puffy, crisp to chewy crust; all tasted gourmet. Boards held salami, blue and white cheeses, pickles and olives, plus chips and a range of dips. A tray passed by Chef Gina contained caviar-topped tater tots. Towards the end of the event, plates of cannoli as dessert were set on the bar. Guests were offered Campari spritz as a welcome to the evening. Big Noise beer, cans, bottled still and sparkling water, and soda were in several ice-filled barrels around the floor; white and red wines (2023 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, both Bezel San Luis Obispo by Cakebread**) were in metal pitchers on a sideboard. *The $60 included all taxes and gratuity; there was no breakdown in OpenTable as to what the base cost was or autograt percentage levied. **These ran out in about 45 minutes; unsure what the replacement bottles were. Value: Below average, not because of the quality of the food, which was high and very enjoyable, nor due to the level of service, which was bright, attentive, and friendly. The reason is that the event organizers had underestimated severely the pizza creation turnaround time needed to keep all the pans stocked against the number of ticketed guests. The wait time for a single pass was upwards 30+ minutes, a significant chunk out of a two-hour limit to spend in line to grab a few pizza slices. The chefs and staff did realize the issue quickly and, while there was no way to speed up pie production and still have them fully baked, they worked hard to ease the customer experience. My first visit here was for takeout. When I walked in the door, I asked the host where to order takeout. She replied with me and offered me a menu. I ordered the Stracci pasta and was told it would be about 10 minutes. There was no designated place to wait for takeout so I went outside. I went back in after 12 minutes or so and my order wasn't ready. I took a seat near the host stand until my order was ready about 10 minutes later. I was surprised there wasn't a place to wait for takeout. It was awkward to find a spot to wait, and usually the host would suggest a place to wait or tell me they would let me know when the order is ready. When my order was ready, she said thank you for waiting. The restaurant was pretty busy when I arrived, and I knew it would be more than 10 minutes for a takeout order. I wasn't surprised it took longer than 10 minutes. The pasta was good and I would order it again. There were a lot of mushrooms and a fair amount of beef. The entree was $28 which is pretty steep for a pasta meal but this is south Summerlin. The restaurant and bar looked really nice and upscale. We came here for a special occasion. We loved every we tried there. For appetizers, we ordered braised meatballs and Spanish octopus. The braised meatballs were so umami because of the tomato sauce. The Spanish octopus was like a salad. It had frisée and some tomatoes. The octopus was grilled so it had this crispy texture to it that made it very interesting. The dish was like a celebration of spring. It was great. Next, we ordered venison chops and their special which was $85 a 2-lb stuffed lobster. The lobster was stuffed with lobster and shrimps. Bread crumbs were sprinkled on that. The lobster was so sweet and moist. I devoured everything. My partner really enjoyed his venison. It was cooked to perfection. It was so tender. We also got some desserts. I got cherry cobbler and a cup of pistachio gelato. The cherry cobbler was very tart. It was good that they added vanilla gelato on top of the cherry cobbler, so you had so sweetness to go with it. My partner's only complaint about the cherry cobbler was the crumble was a bit buttery. As locals, we're always looking for off-Strip spots that feel like an experience, not just another dinner. La Strega nailed it start to finish. The room itself sets the stage. Soft light, modern chandeliers, and a design that feels elegant without being stiff. The chairs deserve a mention on their own, with comfortable wide armrests of solid wood that make you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels deliberate, like they actually want guests to linger. At the table we opened with cocktails. The Nora Negroni ($17) hit that deep, balanced bitter with malfy blood orange gin, Campari, and Cocchi di Torino vermouth. Classic, exact, nothing overworked. The Alessandra ($16) could have been a sugar bomb in the wrong hands, but here the toasted coconut rum, blanc vermouth, banana, passionfruit, pineapple, and lime leaned sophisticated, layered, and bright, served in a glass pineapple. Mozzarella Monday should be a citywide tradition. For $15, the cheese is pulled and salted tableside, still warm and silky, a small piece of theater that reminds you why fresh matters. The Grilled Spanish Octopus ($20) followed, tender and smoky, with lima beans, lemon, and tapenade giving it real depth and balance. Housemade pastas showed the kitchen's range. The Stracci ($28) is pure indulgent comfort, braised beef cheeks with mushrooms, pecorino, and sage in a slow-building sauce that clings to wide noodles. The Lemon Ricotta Raviolini ($25) is the opposite, bright and citrus-forward, with parmesan brodo, Tuscan kale, and chickpeas keeping it fresh and layered instead of heavy. We closed with liquid dessert. The cold brew espresso martini leaned bold and rich, with no syrupy shortcuts. The Cavalletta, built on coconut cream washed fernet, was sharp and bracing, the kind of closing note that keeps the night alive instead of putting it to bed. A perfect digestif. Service was paced with precision, attentive and friendly without feeling rehearsed. La Strega is not just "good for Summerlin." It is a restaurant that can stand next to the Strip's best cuisine while keeping its neighborhood soul. Already planning the return. read more

I visited this restaurant the other day with my boyfriend, who made a reservation for us. This was my second time dining here, and it was his first and we enjoyed eating at Harlo. I was excited to introduce him to the restaurant and share a dish I had really enjoyed during my previous visit. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess and our server. Our reservation clearly noted an egg allergy, and our server even brought it up with us, which we confirmed. Unfortunately, we were served an appetizer containing mayonnaise. The assumption was made that it was only for my partner, when it was actually meant for both of us to share. I started experiencing an allergic reaction. I do appreciate that our server and the chef came out to apologize and address the situation. The chef also kindly comped our entire meal, and I want to acknowledge that the food itself was good. Those efforts are the only reason why I'm giving a star. My boyfriend also works as a server, and he understands how seriously allergies need to be handled in a dining environment. Mistakes can happen, but when an allergy is clearly communicated and confirmed, there should be extra care taken to ensure the guest's safety. I was disappointed that a manager was walking around checking on other tables, but never came to speak with us or acknowledge what happened. You would think management would make an effort to check on guests after an incident like this, especially when it involves an allergic reaction. It was upsetting to feel that the severity of the situation was overlooked. I hope the restaurant takes this as an opportunity to improve communication regarding allergies and guest care. read more

What a lively and beautiful restaurant. I loved the decor! All the staff were great and the interior looks roomy and open with subdued colors. I ordered the scallops and tried the smoked white fish w caviar as an appetizer. Everything we tried was delicious. Our server was fantastic. My scallops came out a couple mins after my friends meal came out and I could tell the staff was not happy about it but I didn't mind. It was worth the wait! read more

For mains, we ordered the bolognese and the lobster pasta. The bolognese was average, nothing special. The lobster pasta arrived nearly cold, and the lobster itself was overcooked -- for $80, we expected much better quality. Overall, wouldn't recommend based on this visit. read more

The beef cheeks were so tender & flavorful and the pasta for both dishes were cooked to perfection. Everything is made from scratch with seasonal menus. No bread is included with the meal, but that is a ownership complain. Not the serving staff's fault. But with that said, I came in on Monday night at 5pm, and being a former server, I heard two people at the hostess stand saying how a server was really busy. And she was. She handled the chaos with such stride, even when getting table after table. Thank you, Lisa. I will be back to eat some more delicious rigatoni bolognese, which is smoothly, not spicy, and extremely flavorful. The Parmesan cheese tasted freshly grated. read more

Everything else was just okay for me (tiramisu was still slightly frozen in the center and pretty dry, the pasta dish was good but nothing special, and the focaccia was a little too garlicky for my personal preference). La Strega is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is amazing with a menu that changes seasonally. We try the new dishes as they come out. We have literally enjoyed everything we've tried at La Strega. The pasta is always amazing; especially the cacio e pepe and troffie ala vodka! Michelle and Amanda at the bar are great. Chef Gina does an amazing job with the unique and amazing flavor combinations. All the staff are fun and engaging. We love this quaint restaurant. read more
