Desserts... Cannoli, Hazlenut Semifreddo, and celebration cake
    Vanessa T.

I've passed the entrance to Al Solito Posto several times in the charming Tivoli Village, but finally had the opportunity to give them a try just last night. My date and I decided we'd give their Prix-Fixe menu a shot. It's an affordable ($50PP) alternative, offering an appetizer, entree, and dessert each. We were stuffed and took home leftovers; it's definitely the best bang for your buck. The Meatballs: 5/5 Impressively tender and generously sized, these meatballs didn't stand a chance at our table. Coated in a mild, herbal marinara and served with a decadent fried polenta. A must-order. Caesar Salad: 4.9/5 Crisp and topped with whole anchovies. This is a solid caesar. Rigatoni Alla Vodka: 100/5 Hands down the best rigatoni dish I've had in Las Vegas. Perfectly al dente and topped with a light vodka sauce. None of their red sauces are acidic. Flat-out perfect. Gigli: 4/5 A happy little accident of an order. I asked for a Proscuitto + Pesto pizza, but the waiter misheard and I was served Gigli. Delicious. The pasta was a bit softer though, and I wish the pesto packed more punch. Cannoli & Hazelnut Semifreddo both hit the spot. The Semifreddo is actually a hefty portion. Creamy goodness, I wish it were offered on their traditional menu. Al Solito Posto is well-designed, but unfortunately we were sat in front of the bar and their only TV. It didn't feel fitting for our special occasion visit, but the food made up for it and more. Our waiter was kind but a little awkward, and all of the servers were fantastic and sociable. The playlist also took from the ambiance a bit, but again, the food is what makes this spot. Worth your visit, worth every penny.

They have a great happy hour! This spot also has a great vibe and ambiance. We got a bunch of the happy hour apps and pizzas. All were very tasty and great portion size. The caesar salad was a true caesar with anchovies - the best! The meatballs were great too. The bread and garlic confit they provide is THE BEST! The bartender also made a great old fashioned. I really recommend for some great happy hour Italian food!

Awesome Italian restaurant. It is one of its kind. This is the only location. The owner partnered with a chef and designed the awesome menu. The wait staff is exceptional. Everyone is dressed nice. They always kept my drinks full. The water tastes good. Their cocktails are yummy. They have a variety of cocktails and wine and the prices are decent. The food is dynamite. All pasta is handmade and you can tell. I tried the lobster ravioli and it was chefs kiss. They did not skimp out on the topping inside the ravioli. The vodka sauce was so tasty. We also tried the chicken Marsala. The chicken was very tender. The bread is awesome. Crunchy outside, soft inside. They also make a homemade garlic olive oil dipping sauce with herbs. I would return. Best Italian spot in Vegas that I've tried so far.

Went to Al Solito Posto and really liked it. The food was really good and super filling--portions are big, so you definitely leave full. The bread alone was amazing, honestly could've kept eating that all night. The place has a kind of dark, moody vibe but in a nice way--it feels cozy and a little more upscale without being stiff. Service was friendly and easygoing, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, just a really solid Italian spot. I'd go back for sure.

First time for happy hour here...we went to dinner a few years back and I remembered it being nice, so we returned for the HH. Made a reservation and got a high top table. We got a marvelous waiter to take care of us. Hub got an Aperol spritz and I tried the Hugo spritz....these were beautifully made drinks. We started off with the HH meatball and polenta appetizer...very nice size to split. We remembered that the pasta was memorable so we decided to split an entree of Pappardelle bolognese....this was an absolute show stopper!!! Our server sent the dish with a tong so we could easily share it...just amazing thought process to make the meal so nice. Our server also brought over some delicious focaccia bread and some fresh oil with garlic and herbs to dip it in. Needless to say I will be back and soon. I forgot what a great restaurant this is...and now I have been reminded. Six stars for the pasta alone!!!

Tivoli village at its Best. A beautiful upscale date night place to go Dinner started with hand smashed garlic and focaccia bread so good Nicki took great care of us . She recommended I get the chicken Parmesan. Very good the real 5 star is the FRESH MADE PASTA. The best noodles I have ever had really Wife got the scallops and risotto. We also tried the fried calamari as an appetizer Looking for a Saturday night date night go here

Octopus with potatoes and tomatoes sound and looks so basic but it was cooked perfectly with nice chew and tomatoes were out of this world.

This place is amazing! From food to service, it was all top notch and very professional. Our food came out so fast for our group of 8 and every dish was perfection. Apps were my favorite- octopus, calamari, grilled artichoke. Everyone loved their pasta - rigatoni, seafood with ink squid pasta. And noodle with braised short rib sauce was so good as well! Would be nice if I had more pictures to share but we were all too busy digging in to fabulous food.

Amazing food. The best squash blossoms! Vince, our waiter, was very professional. The chef came out to check on the food. Everything was delicious. Happy Hour has great specials! My new favorite spot! Love the decor!

***Update: they have called and issued a refund. They assured me that they have regular pest control and do regular thorough inspections. I expressed that when you tell a customer you will follow up in a couple days, to do so, even if just to say we are still investigating and they took ownership and accountability. I appreciate their professionalism.***

Cocktails Old Fashion and Grapefruit Spritzer, very refreshing House bread with garlic oil and oil. I will say not impressed with their bread, we didn't eat it, maybe if it was warm sourdough would have been better. Started with the Little Gem Caesar salad so yummy. We ordered the PAPPARDELLE and the RIGATONI omg so yummy! Made fresh with homemade pasta. The sauce on both pastas were incredibly yummy, did not disappoint so very flavorful. Let's talk about the service, WOW!! 10 out of 10. Our server was so incredibly beautiful Nikyah n she is GORGEOUS. Nikyah was so informative on helping us with the menu in making choices. Thank Nikyah for your excellent customer service. Ambiance is contemporary a little dark quite enough to enjoy a nice conversation.

Great classic Italian food in a comfortable atmosphere. I forgot how great this place is because the last time I visited was many years ago. I'm glad we made it back and I won't forget about them this time. The chicken Parmesan was very good and I loved the bread and garlic oil. They also throw together a great Caesar salad. The chicken Marsala was also very good. When we came in the hostess tried seating us right next to other people which I hate when there are so many other tables open so I asked her for another table. By the time we left every table was occupied.

Went on Saturday evening. It was full. Even with restaurant full of people the service was very fast. We were seated on time and our order was taken fast and we didn't have to wait long for the food to come out. We took Pear salad - I wasn't the biggest fan - could have more cheese and more cranberries. Veal Milanese parmigiana style - my boyfriend tried it for the first time - he said it was too heavy on cheese but maybe he was just expecting something else. My branzino was absolutely delicious ! Grilled to perfection and so flaky. And the sauce - yummm ! That's my regular order at any Italian restaurant and this one might be the best I ever had! The pasta was fresh and just how it supposed to be. I'll definitely come again and try more pasta dishes.

Went here with the girls and it's a very large establishment in Tivoli Village. The food was great, but the service was better. Our waiter was attentive & offered recommendations, he was just quick on his feet so it was hard to catch him lol. Most of the table ordered the lobster stuffed shells which was delicious. Another dish was the oysters, which was described as too small. The other 2 dishes were rib and mashed potatoes along with a rib and spaghetti style dish. The only critique amongst all dishes was the need for more sauce. The ambiance was dim lighting, great for date Night! Restaurant is close to parking lot as well. Great for pictures. I will like to return to try their pizza.

Restaurant Week brought us here tonight, it was our first time here…read more It's a really cute French Place with decent food and a server who started off with a real nasty and argumentative attitude but cooled down as the night went on...I'll explain. We arrived and were greeted by Abbie our server. We were seated quickly and received bread and water. As we looked over the Restaurant Week Menu, I noticed that on the menu Abbie gave us it showed an up-charge for the Sole. I asked her about this as online what they provided to Restaurant Week as their menu it did show an up-charge for the Filet and the Duck but not the Sole. Abbie immediately started to argue with me stating it may be an old posting which I said no it's current and I don't have an issue with the up-charge if there is one now, it's just not showing online so I was just asking, it's really not a big deal to me. She stated she would look at the website and talk to the owner but she definitely had a negative attitude toward us for asking and it continued for a bit. We started with the French Onion Soup and the Warm Crusted Pistachio Goat cheese with Onion Jam & Honey. The onion soup was good, it was not your traditional onion soup with a beef broth that is served in most places. This soup has a light chicken tasting broth but was really good. It is definitely the region of France this comes from and I liked it. The Warm Crusted Pistachio Goat cheese with Onion Jam & Honey, comes with bread. I took a piece and put the cheese on the bread and scooped down to the onion jam & honey. I immediately picked up the smell of cinnamon which I am allergic to, so when Abbie came around again, my friend was eating it and I asked Abbie if there was cinnamon in it. She immediately got defensive and looked at my friend and in a very rude and condescending tone said "you don't like it"??? I replied yes she likes it, but I'm allergic to cinnamon and I need to know if it had cinnamon in it. She walked off in a huff and shortly came back and said yes, it had cinnamon, nutmeg and 22 other spices in it and it's a Moroccan style. I said ok thank you, I will not try this as I'm allergic. Abbie then dropped her attitude and asked if there were any other allergies which we said no. Other people started coming in including a table with people who were people she knew and after that her personality completely changed and she became friendlier. Our entrees were really good. The sole my friend said was good and my Flank Steak was cooked ok. It was not exactly as requested but close and tasted really good. The desserts were both rich with real chocolate French style and were enjoyed. In closing, the food was ok, I don't think the prices on the regular menu are that bad but honestly, there are better places in town and friendlier staff so I won't be back. If Abbie did not argue with me over their obvious discrepancy and did not get an attitude over a question about an allergy, maybe I would give this place another try. As of now, I don't plan on coming back to this one.

The Branzino was perfectly roasted, with a buttery texture and a lightly crisp exterior that added an appealing contrast. The Grilled John Dory, a delicate white fish, was prepared beautifully. It was flaky, mild, and clean-tasting, with a flavor profile reminiscent of tilapia. The entrees were excellent. After the initial lack of personnel, the service was outstanding. The waitress was very friendly, prompt and professional. Definitely a great place to grab lunch.

What a wonderful little Gem, near the lakes. My friend and…read moreI visit Vino Aromi for the first time and I was impressed. I walked in and even though the host was not at the front entrance for the typical greeting, the staff acknowledged my presence and signal that they will be with me in a moment, which as really nice. Since I arrived on time . I got to pick the spot where we would be eating. I forgot the name of the handsome waiter, which we found out later he was one of the owners. We asked him for suggestions on the menu and went with those, a CAPPELLINI with Shirmp (4 to be exact), RIGATONI VODKA with mushroom and RIGATONI VODKA with sausage. I also ordered the MARGHERITA and the taste made me remember my childhood with was nice. Their Wine menu was ample a little bit for everyone's taste. The staff was friendly, professional and made it for memorable experience. A friend of mine is Baseball fan and she was watching the game on her phone and listening with her ear piece and the owner was nice enough to turn the volume on that she could hear enjoy the game and maybe even our conversation . We all agreed, we enjoyed ourselves and even lost track of time, we left after about three and a half hours. I am sure I will bring my family when they come and visit me from out of state.

An absolute master class in culinary & hospitality experience…read more Started with the ponzu tuna crudo, very well done and balanced. This place nails it with variety & crazy modest prices! You know the character of a restaurant by the care they put into the menu priced that shows respect for their guests. They offer steak night (every night!) with entrees 50% off!! The filet was seared crisp outside, perfect med rare. The pasta's handmade that actually tastes like someone kneaded it with love, not a machine. Veal ossobuco is my favorite meal & this one is at the very top of a long list of past favorites. It melts off the bone, rich and slow-braised, with perfect acid in the tomato ragu. Was so satisfying!! Mac & cheese was way way too good! Best part was every dish hit the table so hot! I love food that is still steaming to the last bite. The picca chica cocktail was a perfect blend of spicy & sweet. Wine list is stupidly deep; you'll spot bottles you've never heard of, all poured by people who actually care if you like it. Lastly the crème brûlée was truly out of this world and so unique in taste and presentation. I'm quietly plotting my next reservation. Worth every bite. A special thank you to Colleen & Chef Lupe for their hospitality & genuine service!

The fact that they have their happy hour all day from opening to closed pretty amazing. All wines and cocktails were on point. My favorite there was Limoncello spritz! (Less than $10) Some of star dishes that flavorful and delicious are : Beef carpacio, Seasonal farmer salad, Chicken Masala. Spoke with chef Nico and found out that soon they will offer steak which I can't hardly wait. Staffs are always friendly from the host, servers and bartender. I usually sat at the bar and chat with Mark, Jose or Felice sometimes bar can get so busy but definitely worth it! I will be back for live music on Friday(check with them before you go, if you want to see the live music)
